During her twentieth birthday, ex-Blade Runner Applejack is propositioned by her past boss to return to work–a space ship crash landed and killed over twenty ponies two weeks ago. The androids known as 'replicants' are seemingly behind it all, and now they're loose and out for blood. Now Applejack has to find the five robots, and somehow retire them; but they look like ponies to the naked eye, and are stronger and faster than anything nature can create.

Their only weakness is that they cannot mimic emotions.

Or so everypony thought.
