Crossing Time

*Era: Future

Date: March 29, 2047

Time: 3:42 P.M.*

Place: Canterlot, Equestria

"WE ARE PONY-KIND'S LAST HOPE, WE ARE GONNA KICK THESE BEASTS IN THEIR ASS. WHAT ARE WE NOT GONNA DO? SLOW DOWN. WE ARE GONNA HUNT THOSE CELESTIA-DAMN BEASTS UNTIL THERE ARE NO MORE LEFT. WE WILL END THEM WITH NO MERCY AND RETURN EQUESTRIA, NO, THE WORLD BACK TO ITS OLD SELF, NOW LETS GO KILL THESE SONS-O'-BITCHES," yelled a stallion. a squad of stallions and almost the last of the pony-kind were carrying guns and had entered Canterlot, where Canterlot is now rubble and broken buildings. The stallion took his weapon and aimed it once hearing a chittering sound from somewhere ahead of them, his squad following the same motions. Each pony aimed towards different directions, trying to spot the owner of the sound. At first it all seemed quiet, nothing was out there it seemed

A creature that hunts by sound senses sound waves, huge ones in an area where the stallions reside, and runs towards it. The sound waves are represented to the creature as blue circles as the prey's hearts pump. One pony had lowered his guard down and lowered his weapon. In a split second he was tackled away from the group by a big blur and he was savagely ripped to shreds by the creature.

Everypony shot at where the blur exited and one by one said blur took off every soldier until it was down to three, where the remaining members ran, two in one direction and one going the opposite way.The creature went where there was more sound waves, to the two stallions. The two stallions were being chased by the creature, one of them tripping. The other stallion didn't look back as he heard his comrade scream and the creature chittering in pleasure. The pony ran and ran until he was tackled down by another one of those creatures, screaming in pain and agony as the creature teared him to shreds.

The last stallion was running for his life, his only hope was to find a hiding place. But fate would have it that he turned left and ran into an ally. The stallion turned back to see three of those creatures slowly walking towards the pony. The creatures were grey, scaly like, had extremely useless eyes, a huge nose, long arms and claws, and a small tail with a hunch back, standing on all fours like a gorilla. The creatures saw the only sound wave and prey for miles around, roaring as the stallion screamed, dust was filling the area. The three creatures, now covered in blood, hopped out of there and left to find more food.

Under Canterlot in the crystal tunnels resided the very last pony, a mare. She had camera equipment and had turned on the camera to record, "Hello everypony, my name is Jaeger and I am the last pony in existence, this message will be my last. We ponies were once a powerful and kind race, that is until they came. These creatures, these ... unstoppable machines of destruction came out of the blue and killed off every creature, not just ponies. These creatures never stop, they never sleep, they are too quick, and they sense any attack before it's made. We tried blinding it once before, but it doesn't use its eyes. We found out that these creatures are like bats, they use sound to its advantage, they hunt with it, communicate with it. We believe that these beasts are futuristic bats by this information. They can make tremendous jumps, they have long arms and claws, and they stay on all fours. I am an earthpony as you can see but because I'm the last of everything I can use magic, the last bit of it. I am gonna try to attempt the impossible, time travel. It's only a matter of time before these great titans spot m-"

Jaeger was cut off by a choir of echoing chitters, the creatures were closing in on Jaeger. "I have no time left, the Future Predators, as they are named, are about to end me, it's time to test this out, Jaeger out."

Jaeger then shut off the camera, putting it in her bag. She then took her right hoof and used all her energy to put all magic into this one single hoof. In about five seconds her whole body was engulfed in the magic. Jaeger opened her eyes, they were glowing with pure white as she rose from the ground. The Future Predators finally arrived at their destination, but when they got there there were no sound waves, and no food, nopony was there, nothing except a scorch mark where Jaeger stood. She did it.

A purple pony, an alicorn, was sound asleep under her constellation blankets in her bed. Her home was a huge tree, also a library. Suddenly a voice was heard, "TWIIIILIIIIGHT!!!!"

*Era: Present

Date: Winter Season

Time: 8:37 A.M.*

Place: Ponyville, Equestria

The purple alicorn known as Twilight Sparkle was getting up from the calling sound of her most faithful and loyal assistant, Spike the dragon, bags under her eyes. Twilight had a bunch of princess duties that kept her from some fun for the whole day that left her tired out, then was up all night studying a spell that she had borrowed from Princess Celestia due to curiosity and didn't go to sleep until 4 in the morning. Spike was in the kitchen, finally finished preparing their breakfast. Twilight was too tired to wake up so she fell back asleep. After Spike waited for about 3 minutes he called again, "TWIIIIIIIIIILIIIIIIIIGHT!!!"
