During the creation of Equestria, the earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi had as their greatest adverseries, themselves, darkness and arguments made into a weapon by the deadly windigoes. They were times of great magic, of fearful things, and little harmony, and it was into this world that a curse was cast upon a lone unicorn caught in a blizzard. Her name was Sanguine, and she was struck down with a sickness so vile but so enchanting that she was transformed, and made anew, and now she comes, a thousand years after that past she is unfrozen to come and satisfy her hunger. Except this time it is not a hunger for friendship.
