I slowly opened my eye's, and found another pair looking back into my own.  The owner then came a lot closer and started to nuzzle me, and licked my check as well.

"G-good morning..."  She simply giggled at my words and brought her head close to mine.

"Good morning my love."  My face then burned deep red as I remembered the happenings of last night, and well in fact only three hours ago.

"Are you still embarrassed by our activities from earlier my love?"  She pulled back her head and gave me a nervous look.

"N-no I just ... I just remembered everything in about two seconds."  I then pulled her back close to me and held her in a worm embrace and slowly nuzzled her neck.

"S-stop that! .... I-it tickles..."  I stopped for as she had asked me in worry it was now my turn to give her a worried look.  She did not look as happy or well she, just ... something about her mood is far different than I have ever seen in her.

"Are you alright my love you seem ... different?  Are you anxious or nerves about something?"  Her face then turned deep red and she started speaking but no words came out of her mouth.  This continued for a while before she finally managed to squeak out a few words.

"N-no I-I am just fine in fact I .... I am nervous yes, they are coming remember today ... very soon..."  My worry quickly changed to concern for both my safety and the girl's.  I then spoke in a very different tone as I started my quote unquote attack on her.

"You seem to be stuttering an awfully lot this morning.  Is there something that you would like to tell me?  Love..."  My tone was dark and unforgiving when I said 'love' and from her reaction and with that all hope of this being a lie was destroyed.  A pain filled my chest and I was on the brink of tears for she was simply playing me to get at something, may it be me or worse.  The pain I felt was only felt two other times in my life.  The first was when my mother told me of how she found me and took care of me but had somehow found a necklace that she said my mother had on her.  The second was when my mother told me that I had to leave because she didn't want to see me anymore for I was a disgrace to her and she never wanted to see me again.

"P-please don't h-hurt me ..... please."  She started to cry for she knew that I was on to her and was scared for her life which doesn't surprise me seeing that 'they' all know of my activities.  However I still did love her and did not want her to fear me for I had told her that I would never let any'ling ever hurt her.  I then held her again in a loving embrace trying to calm her.  Sadly for me she simply jumped and cried for me to let her go I then took my right hoof and brought her face to mine so I could look her in the eye.  All that I could see was pure fear and nothing more than that as she seemed to gain more by me looking at her head on.

"Do I look like I am mad, or that I am going to hurt you?  I love you still even with you feeding me lies however you have lost all of my trust at the moment.  But I made you a promise that I will never let any'ling ever hurt you and I never break a promise.  My love I ... you have put me in much pain and this pain I have only felt two other times in my life.  My mother told me that this pain I feel is heart break..."  I brought my head down to hers and tried to hold back my tears as I wiped her's away.  "You have broken my heart and now all that I want for you to do is answer me a few questions honestly.  Will you please do this for me love?"  She nodded slightly.

"Who are the one's that asked you to do this?"

"The hive's queen..."

"Hmm which queen may I ask?"

"Our queen, and also the one who attacked the pony capital...."

"The one who are coming here today are in on this too I presume."

"Y-yes."

"Why?"  Her head shot up in surprise.

"W-what?"

"Why did you pretend to love me..."  My expression then grew very dark and I hung my head waiting for her answer.

"M-my ... my mate asked it of me..."  I then couldn't take it.  The pain in my chest was now stronger than ever and had also moved into my throat.  My tears than flowed down my face in long and large lines.  I also was unable to keep myself from whimpering and by the end of it I was in the most pain I had been in my whole life.

I heard her moving around in front of me but knew she could not leave for I blocked her exit.  I then looked up, my face most likely a terrible wreck of tears and any other things that made its way there.  The look on her face only made me cry more for she simply huddled in the corner and tried to keep her distance from me.

"I'm so sorry Nightshade but I didn't have a choice for they said that if I didn't than they would kill me.  But they needed me for I am the only breathing thing from your past that you don't have at your side.  They where going to try and lure you back to the hive so they could kill you.  B-but Nightshade I do love you I do!.  Please believe me Nightshade I love you!  You have done so much fo-"

"LIE'S!  If you loved me than you wouldn't have done this to me!  I told you things that I have never even considered telling any'ling else!  I offered to buy you a whole house and everything that you would need for it but you said you would rather be with me!  You made me happy!  I haven't truly been happy in almost seven years maybe more.  I loved you so much and I would have died for you.  You gave me the only thing that I have wanted ever since I saw two lovers together and I felt their emotions and what they felt ... I just wanted to be loved by some'ling but no'ling wanted to be with me ... When ever I would get into a relationship with my disguise I would try to get them to accept me for who I am.  But all they would do is cry in fear and beg for me to give them the one they loved back.  They would call me any name you could think of and always try to kill me given the chance.  Not even Berry or Bliss would be with me for they say that they would never even consider being with me and get made at me every time I get to close to them.  But you where not like that.  You wanted to be with me you came to me when I truly needed some'ling the most in my life and you came.  You gave me everything I had ever wanted in my life ...You even gave me your body just last night.  I know that you are trying to lie to me and that you do not love me you are just trying to save yourself and trying to finish you mission at the same damned time!  Get the buck down to the living room right now!  Did you hear me right bucking now!!!!!"  I then chased her down the stairs to the living room and took a blanket to hog tie her.  I then went down to the basement to get on all of my gear on and then went up and sat down next to the door and waited for them to come.

Berry and Bliss came down at some point too however I can't really remember what happened but I know there was a lot of yelling and now they cower in the corner next to the female.  'Knock, knock, knock'

"Excuse me we are her-"  I flung open the door and pulled the two of them into the house.  I then closed the door and locked it so they couldn't leave.  I caste'ed a basic spell that takes down all changeling's disguises.  Two purple soldier's then appeared in front of me and both of them looked scared shit'less.

"So you are the bucks that where assigned to come and kill me?  You have ten seconds to tell me why you should live."

"Listen please don't kill me I-I have a mate and a nymph please!"

"Please don't kill him kill me let him live."  I then gave out an evil smile and held out my dagger but only put it away and took out my best creation.  My crossbow arm gantlet.

"Hmm I have a better idea than killing you I am going to make an example of you and you are going to lead me to the hive in which you came from and we are all just going to say hello to the queen hmm?"  They nodded their heads.

"Lead the way, and please don't run I will kill you."

Three days after we made it to the hive I got what I was looking for.  I slid down the hill and walked up to the young female.

"Good morning little one what might I ask that you are doing out here all alone?"  She turned around and looked very scared.

"I'm not my mommy had big guys with me when I wen to go and play but I can't find them..."

"Oh young one it is quit alright would you like to come with me?  I can keep you safe and then I will bring you to your mommy."

"My mommy won'y talk to you she said that she doesn't talk to those under her."

"Don't worry young one I think that she will be quite eager to talk to me.  Would you like to come up to my camp and get something small to eat?"

"Really!  I'm very hungry would you please bring me the food?"

"Oh such manners your mother must be very proud of you and must treat you like royalty."

"Yep and my mommy say that I am royalty because she is the queen of the hive.  But I really don't want to be royal because every'ling is scared of me so I don't have  any friends."  She then hung her head and sat down on her flank.  I did pity her for being lonely for I knew that felling well.

"Well I could be your friend little one would you like that?"  She than practically jumped on me and was the happiest little thing that I had ever seen.

"I've never had a friend but I would like that very much mister!  But we can't be friends without knowing names.  My name is Nala what is yours?"

"My name is Nightshade and it is a pleasure to meet you Nala would you like a ride back?"

"Yes please."  I then got down so that she may climb on my back.  She was a lot lighter than I had expected and soon we where on our way back to my camp.

Once we got back to my camp I gave her some food and she devoured all of it and quit quickly too.  However after eating she got very tired and I helped her climb into my tent and sleep for I was not sleeping tonight.  I simply stared into the fire in front of me that was providing the only light source and gave off the sweet smell of a bonfire.

"N-Nightshade please ... Let us go please..."  I then turned my attention to the small underground shelter that I had out them in.  I then walked over to it and sat down next to it and looked down into it through the slits in the wood.

"What do you want now prisoner?"

"Please Nightshade let us go and we will leave you alone and never bother you again just please just let us go and give us the prin-"

"Shut your mouth bitch I don't want to hear the same story for the twelfth time.  I told you that I will let you all go in the morning for I am going to go and leave a message to the queen.  I do wish that you all stay quiet please so that you do not wake Nala she is a very nice little female and tomorrow is a big day for her."  I then took flight and flew silently through the night unlike most changelings.  This is because my wings are far bigger than a soldiers and are in fact just a little smaller than the Lunar princesses and I only had to flap every so often like a pegasus hovering in the air.

I then stopped to look at the ground before me.  It was the main entrance to the hive and as expected there where two heavily armed and well trained guards there waiting for some'ling to try and enter.  This made me dawn another evil grin as I landed on the high ground closest to the right guard from there I had to pull out my bow for my crossbow did not have enough range.  I sighted the guard farthest from me and shot a single arrow at him and then I quickly turned and shot my crossbow at the closer guard.  Both of the guards fell and then I moved in for what I came for and drew my blade.  I put it to the corpses neck and cut until his head came off.  I then used his head to write 'Nala' in his blood on the wall.

I then took the spikes that where used for defensive walls and put two down one on each side of the writing.  I placed the first head on the spike on the rest and put the body to the left of the spike underneath the words.  I then went to the other corpse and did the same but on the other side.  However I made it so the the two body's where symmetrical.  From there I took the last thing I needed from a nearby wall and placed it in the middle of the body's eliminating the area with light so you couldn't miss it.

I then brought my attention back to the body's and decided to decorate the are a a little bit and cut the stomach open and pulled out everything that I could.  The blood from the first corpse had managed to fill the area enough so that it makes a sound when you walk in it.  I then took all of the organs and guts from his body and flew around randomly dropping them down and made sure to get enough blood to go with it.  When I ran out of things to throw around I then went back to the first corpse and decided to take out his spine and ribs and make a little pile to just make it a little more diverse.  I took the jagged end of my dagger and started to saw through the bone at cretin areas filling my ears with the sound of cutting wood and breaking bones at the same time.  When I finally got out the spine I was happy to see that the ribs were still attached and didn't show any signs of being broken.  I then took the head of the guard and took it off of the spike and simply gouged it with the sharp end of the spine that I cut and then put the whole thing back on the spike and was happy to see that it stayed.  I then and did all of the same things to the other corpse and then went back to the camp and sleep for an hour or two.  That is if I can sleep again....

"Give me my doughtier back you bucking outsider!  Or I will kill you right where you stand!"

"I'm afraid that if you do that you will never find your doughtier and she will die alone and wondering why you weren't there to help he!"

"You wouldn't dare hurt her I hope you check your mouth next time you speak assassin!  For I know that you are not going to hurt her or any'ling in my hive for you have underestimated me Nightshade you can go and buck yourself!!!!"

"If you don't think I'm serious would you care to go back and look at the message I left you?"

"You won't get away with this Nightshade you only have one thing against me but I have far more!"

"If that is true then bring the rest of your hive out here for what I have to say is for all their ears!"

"You must be joking ... Go and bring the rest of the hive outside please!  Two of the guards at the queens side left her and ran into the hive shouting various things.  However the queen never took her eye's off of me and her height was for once useful as she had to see over the three rows of one hundred soldiers ready to charge and kill me.

"So your majesty how have you been?"

"Excuse me!?!?!?!  You are holding my doughtier hostage and you try to start small talk with me?!?!?!?!?!?"

"Would you rather stare at me like an idiot?"

"How dare you insult our Queen!!!!!!!!!!!"  I then saw that a small group of guards had begun to charge me and I guessed about twenty of them.  I took out my bow and started to shot off arrows left and right and all hitting their mark with deadly aim.  I then dropped my bow and let off the strongest magical attack I could and fired it into the blunt of the group.  When the shot hit the ground it exploded and fired off a multitude of fire balls in every direction and what ever it touch set in flames instantly.  By the time that the guards got o me there was only five left and it was almost an even fight.  The first to make it I sidestepped and stabbed in the neck with my hoof blade and barley had enough time to get out of the way of the next guard that brought down a big hammer.  The hammer got stuck in the ground however and I cut his throat and the dodged the attack of another guard to laugh as he killed his own ally.  I then walked up to the last guard that stood before me trembling and I could even see a little stream of yellow coming down his hind leg.

"Listen I think that we both know how this is going to end and I am going to give you a chance at getting away alright.  He nodded his head.

"You have three options to chose from right now and only one of them lets you live."  He nodded again.

"your first option is that you run back to your little friends and stupid Queen and be killed by the Queen for running away.   Your second option is that you let me kill you quickly and join your hivemates in death.  Or you can just run."

"R-run?"  He stuttered.  I simply nodded to him.

"You can run away from this all and never have to worry about any'ling but your self.  Do you have a mate or child?"

He shock his head no.

"Good that will make it a lot more easier for you.  I will tell you this though if you chose this path you will gain many enemy's but also many friends do you understand?"

"Yes..."

"Oh good we're speaking again that is good but listen I am not going to kill you but I will say this my friend."

"What?"

"There is a small pony village in Equestria called Ponyville and that is where I live along with three other changelings.  Now listen I hope that you hold no grudges on me and if you do you have every right.  But if you go there find me my disguises name is Dark Star ask around town for me and you should be directed to a local bar I go there once a day for many different reasons but if you go there I will approach you and I will have you follow me as I talk to you about ... a different chance."

"What is it?"

"You will have to meet me to see for yourself my friend but now it is time for you to pick a side and chose a number.  one, two, or three?"

"Three!!!!"

"Good to hear now take off your armor and get going trust me you won't want armor for where you are going unless you think you need it?"

"I think that I will keep it..."

"See you soon."  I then turned my attention back to the queen who had gotten the whole hive out to see as I had asked.

"What did you do to my soldier?!?!?!?!?!?"

"I saved him from you!"

"I .... never mind I gathered the hive as you asked now give me my doughtier!"  I then walked ten feet to my left and pulled out all three of my hostages and then went back for Nala who I let sit on my back again.

"NALA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Please give me my doughtier!"

"I do-"

"HI MOMMY!!!"  As I was cut off by Nala I couldn't help but laugh at her innocence to the situation.

"Nala it is not very nice to interrupt some'ling when they are talking.  Just remember that next time and if you correct yourself now I will give you a cookie."

"Sorry Nightshade I didn't mean to interrupt you."

"Thank you very much Nala here is your cookie"

"Yeah!!!!  Thank you."

"What the hell was that Nightshade?  What have you done to my doughtier?!?!?!?!"

"I tout her how to use manners and apparently became her first friend and you may have your doughtier back if you give me something that I want."

"What is it that you want?"

"I want you to give me a few things that belong to me and my family."

"Yes yes anything just tell me what it is!"

"I want my family's symbol back and every other thing that is mine in front of the hive within two hours.  However every hour I will kill one of these hostages and I will be starting now which one would you like me to kill first.  How about we ask them hmm?"  I walked up to the first soldier on my right.

"May I ask you what your name is?"

"Crillixis."

"Do you have any friends or family Crillexis?"

"Yes."

"What might they be?"

"My mate and my son."

"Would you l like to say anything to them?"

"Yes ... That I love them both..."

"I see now listen I am going to cut your throat but I will not cut your jugular and you will not bleed out in seconds.  It will take you thirty minuets to die at the least so I am going to bring you up so that they may take you and you may hold your family once more."  I didn't give him any time to respond as I put on a gag so he could not speak and cut him lose from the the other two.  I then dragged him up three feet in front of the crowd and stood him up.

"This here is Crillixis and he said that he has a son and a mate he told me to tell you that he loves you.  I told him that I am going to cut his throat but not his jugular.  If you want to save hime you better get him to the medical area fast."

"Wait I thought that you said to have all of the hive out?"

"I did but I just told you to bring in the medics.  That is unless you want to watch him slowly die within five minuets all the time aware of all the pain and everything else."  A small colt then ran up through the guards and stood up in front of me and presumably his father.

"Leave my daddy alone he didn't do anything wrong!"

"Oh little one I'm so sorry but you are right your father has done nothing to me I didn't give him the chance and I am sure that he would have never left if it wasn't for your Queen."

"But if he didn't want to go then why did he?"

"Because the Queen would kill him if he refused to go.  However seeing how nice you are I am going to do you a favor."  I then picked up the small changeling in my mouth and placed him on his fathers back.  I then took off his gag and cut all remaining restraints and walked back to my original spot and heard many hushed talk from behind.

"Can I go back to my mommy now Nightshade?"

"No little one you cannot for I have lied to you like a bad guy would do."

"Are you a bad guy Nightshade?"

"Yes and no little one..."  I then brought the other two hostages and Nala to the tall tree for some shade from the sun.

"Nala I don't know how much of what I am going to say to you will make any seance but I am using you as what is called a hostage.  A hostage is some'ling held against their will so that the one holding you captive can get what they want.  What I am doing is considered very bad so for having you here with me and not with your mother makes me a bad guy.  Does that make seance?"

"Sort of you say that you are bad because you are keeping me here and not with my mommy?"

"That is very close, and for now that is a perfect answer.  But what makes me a good guy is that your mommy is doing the same thing to me but not with others it is with a very special thing of mine."

"What is it?"

"It is my family emblem is that the thingy that is made of gold and has funny picturs on it?"

"Yes Nala very good you are a very smart little thing aren't you."  Nala started to giggle and laugh but then rested her self against me.

"Nightshade are you my daddy?"

"W-what?"

"I said are you my daddy?  I don't have one and my mommy said that my daddy was really nice and that he loved me very much but he had to go away before I was born because Grandma said that he was bad.  Did you come back to be my daddy?"  Nala looked up at me with eyes that could melt stone and then even gt as close as she could to sitting on my lap.

"N-no Nala I'm not your daddy I'm very sorry.  But what your mommy said is true.  Your daddy loves you very, very much ok." Nala hung her head and started to cry.

"Why can't I have a daddy Nightshade?"

"I don't know little one, I don't know..."

"Nightshade I have your emblem here now give me my daughter please!"  I picked myself up and put Nala on my back and then grabbed the last two on the rope.  I brought them all of the way until I was three feet away from the crowd.

"There are an awfully large amount of guards and soldiers out here. I don't think that I feel safe letting her go"

"HI MOMMY!!!!!!!!"  Every'ling simply looked at her and I gave her a cookie.

"Oh cookie!"

"Thank you for waiting your turn Nala.  But I do think you should get ride of your soldiers first your majesty."

"Do you think my mommy can see me Nightshade?"

"Yes little one, she can see you."  The guards then finally started to clear out but ten stayed in front of the queen.

"Now may I please have my baby..."  I let Nala down and motioned for her to go and she did but slowly and stopping to look at everything on the way and w-

"Look a butterfly!"

"Nala go to your mother please."

"Can I have a cookie?"

"I ran out of cookies Nala I'm sorry but you cannot do something and always expect a reword for some thing yes but for this.  Your mother is your reword Nala and you are always being reworded and punished but you never know it for it seems natural.  But always listen to your mother Nala for not all get a mother to take care of them."  I then grabbed my emblem and flew off back to home and at full speed which isn't to fast and made it back home fairly easily.

"Now to attend to a much needed shower..."
