Class is now in session

"I can't wait to teach my first class!" Twilight exclaimed, anxious to get to the university of Canterlot. "Ugh, egghead." RainbowDash groaned, trying to take a nap. "I mean, think about it, It's not everyday you are offered a job to teach advanced magics to a class of students the same age as yourself." Twilight started, but was interrupted by a colt who was wearing a purple and orange scarf along with a set of glasses that fit neatly around his eyes. He was tall, with a purple coat and dark purple and light red mane. His eyes glimmered teal. "Excuse me, do you mind if I borrow some of your sugar for my tea? They didn't put any in my car so I'm left with sugarless tea. " The colt began. Twilight was just staring at him and when he turned to her she just sat there until Rainbowdash began talking. "Ya, no problem. Here you go." she said, Handing the colt ten packets of sugar. "Thank you." The colt began. Then he turned to Twilight. "Where are you headed?" He asked, placing the sugar packets in his coat pockets. "I'm headed to the University of Canterlot." Twilight responded. He stared for a few minutes and smiled.

"so, you're the new Advanced Magics teacher!" He laughed. "Good to meet you before anyone else, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Arcaneflame Re Tirivina, I'm the professor of Basic Magic, Basic and Advanced Alchemy, Basic and Advanced Runecrafting, And Astronomy. You are taking over my Advanced magics class." He said, looking at her quite curiously. Twilight's jaw dropped open, how could one colt be able to teach all these classes by himself. He started talking again. "How would you like to come to my car to review what you're going to be teaching to the class?" He asked, quite politly at that. "S-S-Sure, I w-w-would l-l-l-l-love to." Twilight stammered. "Follow me then." He said, turning to the door. She hopped up, walking right behind him. They walked for a few minutes before Twilight blurted out her mind. "What's your cutiemark?" she asked. He was taken by suprise at this question. He turned to reveal his cutie mark. It was almost the same as hers, with only the smallest difference in the pattern. Hers had five white stars while his had only three. "I have never met anyone with a cutiemark like mine." He said, looking at hers and realizing the pattern as well. He continued to lead the way to his car

When they reached his car where he was residing until they arrived, he pulled out the sugar packets and torn one open, pouring it's contents into his tea. When he tried to drink his tea, he scowled. "I guess more time has passed than I thought. My tea has gone cold." He said, thinking for a few minutes. suddenly a thought hit him. "This would be a great time to show you the first thing you're going to be teaching." He said, getting ready to use his magic. Twilight sat there, ready to see the first thing for her class. His horn beagn to glow and his magic turned red and a fire combusted under the cup, which was still levitating in mid-air. Twilight watched as his focus did not shift for even the slightest moment, untill she spoke. "That's amazing..." She said, unable to continue. The very moment she spoke, his focus broke and the fire exploded. Twilight pinned herself to the wall and was waiting for the sharp pain of the fire slashing her skin. She looked around and was horrified at what she saw. Arcaneflame had quick enough reaction time and used a forcefeild spell to contain the fire and it was causing him severe pain. She could hear him speaking quickly for her to leave the room. She ran out of the room and closed the door. He let the forcefield down and the fire engulfed the room.

"Oh my Celestia! Are you alright?"  Twilight called from the hallway. He opened the door and he had a third degree burn across his stomach. "Oh my Celestia! I'll go get a doctor..." She said. But before she could leave, he stopped her. "No, it's ok. Watch." He said, charging up his magic. Before he could use his magic, a flash of pain hit him and caused him to go unconscious. A tome fell from inside his room and Twilight walked over to it. It was a book titled "Advanced Magic Lessons",  Twilight opened up the book and her jaw dropped open again. "Most of these spells should be lost, elemental magic,  forbidden magic, Draconian magic...Wait, Healing magic." Twilight though to herself, catching a page on basic healing magic. She looked over the page for a few minutes and built up her magic. Her horn began to glow green and she placed on his burn, he twinged and then his face showed relief. His eyes opened and he stood up.

"That's the first spell in the lesson plan. healing magic, just in case during the more harder spells they should break thier focus and get harmed." He explained. Twilight stood there for a few minutes and smacked him and stood there, upset. "I deserve that, I know, but that is how I teach, through hands on experience. And besides, I wanted to see something." Arcaneflame told her, Letting her know that he meant no harm. "The forcefield covered the entire room except for my stomach. I wanted to see how you act under a high stress situation. There is going to be a lot of those during the harder spells." He said, feeling his stomach. Before he could continue, the train began to come to a halt. "One more thing, I wrote the lesson plan backwards."  He said, walking off the train, using his magic to get his things. "Hey Twilight!" RainbowDash called out, trying to get her attention. Twilight turned around and realized that it was dark outside.
