Class is now in session

When Twilight arrived at her old home, the lights were on and someone could be heard inside. Twilight approached the door and knocked. "Hello? Is anypony here?" she said, knocking lightly. Arcaneflame awnsered the door, brushing his teeth with his hair slicked back into a neat ponytail. "Good to meet you again."  He said, pulling the toothbrush out of his mouth. "What are you doing here?" Twilight asked, blushing at Arcaneflame. "I live here, I moved here last month when I got the job. Why?" He asked. "I was supposed to live here while I was in town..." She replied. "Oh! You were the original owner! Sorry I'm still here. I was just taking my last shower here before I go to the apartment I got." He said. "An apartment?" She asked. "Ya, The apartment is next to the college, I'm not sure if it has working plumbing. I don't leave anything to chance." He said, getting his luggage. "Wait! You can stay here... with me...It does get pretty lonely here." Twilight blurted. His eyes widened. "Are...are you sure?" He responded. "Yes, this house is huge and besides, you did buy the place..." Twilight started, but was cut off by Arcaneflame's hug. "Thank you, you're too kind. Please, show me to the guest room...."

It was morning and Twilight woke up to go take a shower and prepare for her first day as the Advanced magics teacher at the university of canterlot. When she finished showering, she came downstairs to find that Arcaneflame had made her breakfeast. "Hope your hungry, because I made you a egg sandwich with some hay fries." He said, putting the plate on the table. "Oh no, you shouldn't have." She responded, blushing deeply. "Oh, but I do. you saved my life." He replied, turning to her. "What do you mean, Saved your life?" She said, looking utterly lost. "You saved my life in two ways. One, that apartment I was going to go to, It blew up, from my room. No-one was killed, but a lot of innocent ponies got hurt. And two, The apartments were also near someone who wants me dead because his son failed my class, Ruining his perfect average." He said, turning red. "How did he fail" Twilight asked, sipping her coffee. "he failed by not turning in his work, goofing around in class, and by showing late every single day. And his father even tried to bribe me so I would look the other way. But, I'm not the kind of colt that will look the other way just so I can get a little more bits in my pocket." He declared with great pride.

"Oh my, were going to be late!" He exclaimed, downing his coffee and sandwiches and putting on his scarf and glasses. Twilight downed her food and brushed her hair. "Were not going to make it on foot. Do you have a memory of the college by any chance?" He asked. Twilight shook her head. "I was really young when I went to the college, I can't remember it." Twilight responded. "Then hold on to me." He said, extending his hoof to her and readying his magic. She grabbed his hoof and put herself next to him. She was blushing horribly. He released his magic and they were suddenly in the courtyard. They were in an rather suggestive pose. He had passed out from exerting too much energy from the spell and her front legs had buckled, leaving her flank in the air, while he had landed on top of her. She yipped and threw him off. He hit the floor with a hard thunk. Twilight prodded him with her hoof ."Arcaneflame, this isn't funny! We landed really weirdly." He wasn't responsive. Suddenly the nurse came out of the building.

"He didn't tell you, did he?" The nurse said. "Tell me what?" Twilight asked, she couldn't help but feel her flank where a unconscious Arcaneflame was just a minute ago. "The Courtyard has a hex on it that prevents any use of magic, if you were to teleport into the courtyard, It will send a negative magical shock through your body, Stealing your willpower. He didn't have much since he teleported you and him. So it hit him ten times harder." She explained, taking a flask from out of her rucksack and pouring it's contents down his throat. He woke up with a start, Sputtering from the strange liquid. The nurse whacked Arcaneflame upside the head. "What did I tell you about teleporting inside the courtyard?" She scolded. He stood there, embarrassed. When she left, Twilight approached him. "Care to explain?" she said. He sighed. " She's my twin sister, and she takes her job very seriously." He replied, sighing even more. "But she looks younger than you." Twilight responded. "I take after my father, he was very tall when he was my age, or so he says." Arcaneflame replied. Before he could continue, the bell rang. "Your class is right next to mine since we both teach magic classes. Follow me."  He said, Leading her to the left wing though the courtyard.

"Do you still have my lesson plan?" He asked. Twilight nodded and pulled out the book. Using his magic, he tore a page out and tucked it in the folds of his scarf. "This page is going to be the final exam for the beginner classes." He said, Re-adjusting his scarf. "What page is it?" Twilight asked. "It's the page on dark magic, I'm teaching my students how to protect their minds from magical influences, as well to control dark, light, and chaotic energies."  Arcaneflame explained, removing his glasses. "Here is your classroom, I'm right next door if you need me." He said, walking over  to Twilight. "W-W-What are y-y-you doing?" Twilight stammered. Arcaneflame paused for a moment and spoke. "I really like you Twilight, and I've never felt this way about another pony before." He said, blushing deeply. Twilight stepped closer to Arcaneflame, pulling his arm around her. "I like you two, Arcaneflame." Twilight said, snuggling close to Arcaneflame. He pulled himself off and looked her in the face. "You have to get to class, Professor." He said, teasing her with a small kiss on her forehead. Before she could speak, he teleported inside his class, and you could hear him tell his class to calm down.

As the seconds ticked by, the bell finally rang. Twilight opened the door and walked inside. She was greeted by wolf whistles and a group of boys who made her feel uncomfortable. "Look at the hottie! Hey baby, you want to sit on my lap?" He cheered. "No, in fact. You can get out of my classroom, now!" Twilight yelled. The boy scoffed and got up, as he walked out of the room, he smacked Twilight on the flank. "You know what, go sit back down. I'll be right back." Twilight said, giving a smile to the colt. He smiled and sat backed down. Twilight walked over to Arcaneflame's classroom and knocked on the door. He was instructing a student on the basics of healing magic. He had fractured his own knee and allowed his student to heal it. As soon it was healed, he came over. "What's wrong?"Arcaneflame asked. Twilight explained everything and rage broke out on his face. "He did WHAT?!?" Arcaneflame exclaimed, not relenting his rage. "I just wanted to tell you before I get the guard..." She began. "No, I am going to handle this, can you go get my substitute?" He asked in an attempt to calm himself. Twilight went to the main office and asked for his substitute, who happens his sister, the nurse. "What happened?" She asked, as they were walking to his class. "My age is apparently an invitation for the colts to smack my flank, Arcaneflame wants to handle it himself." She explained. "And so he should, Let him scare the living daylights out of the colt, leave him with a nightmare for a few weeks." She went on, upset at the situation. When they reached Arcaneflame, he was practicing his elemental magic. "Hey sis, My class is practicing healing magic. I need to deal with this." Arcaneflame explained, hugging his sister and walking to the door. After they finished, she took over the class and Arcaneflame walked up to his old class's door.

"You ready to scare the living sunshine out of his soul?" Arcaneflame asked, warming up his magic. "Ya, I want him to know what he did was wrong." Twilight replied. Arcaneflame signaled for her to go back inside and let him know that he was going to get "it". Twilight walked inside and was once again greeted by wolf whistles. "I let a good friend of mine know what you've done, he's not very happy."Twilight said, turning to the colt. "Ooh, I'm so scared. Who is it, The guard?" He replied. "No, it's Arcaneflame." Twilight said bluntly. The entire class went silent for a few minutes and started yelling at him about how much he messed up. Suddenly, Arcaneflame opened the door."Hello class." Arcaneflame said, walking inside. The entire class went silent. "I heard somepony smacked my fiancee's flank. Who was it?" He asked, planting a kiss on Twilight's cheek. The colt stood up. "I did it, You can't hurt me." He taunted. A cruel smile appeared on Arcaneflame's face.

And suddenly Arcaneflame burst into fire. He ran at the colt, screaming incoherently. The colt ran to the door, which Twilight blocked by standing in front of. The colt proceeded to attempt to hit her. Before his hoof could come down on her, Arcaneflame had jumped his back and switched from fire to dark magic, Letting his face become something of a nightmare as an influence from the dark energy. The colt stared into Arcaneflame's evil eyes and passed out from fear, Something the colt had not felt in such a way. Arcaneflame stepped off the colt, allowing the colt's body to fall to the floor. The class remained silent as Arcaneflame went back to normal and spoke to the class. "Anyone who misbehaves in my fiancee's class will have to deal with me, Am I understood?" He asked, nearly yelling. The entire class nodded thier agreement. Arcaneflame signaled that they speak outside.

"So, is it the kind of punishment you were hoping for,or did I take it too far?" Arcaneflame asked. "It was perfect, and since when was I your fiancee?" Twilight responded,teasing Arcaneflame. "Oh, I thought it would be a good idea to let them know I am in a committed with you, Fiancee was the first word that came to mind." He replied, blushing and brushing his hoof to the floor. Before he could continue, Twilight pulled him to her as they kissed passionately in front of her door. Unfortunately, The room doors have glass windows on them and a mare from inside her class could be heard talking about how cute of a couple they are. "I have to get back to my class, I'll see you when school gets out. I have something planned as our first date." He said, winking at her and going back inside. Twilight headed back inside her class, it could not have been easier.
