The Last Laugh

Floral, a bright pink earth pony mare with a neon blue mane and tail and yellow eyes, was trotting through the market with her sister, Magenta, a pink earth pony mare with a short black mane and tail and light blue eyes.
"How long you gonna be?" asked Magenta, looking at her sister. "Remember, we have that slumber party tonight."
Floral smiled. "Not long, sis. Should be a quick in and out."
Magenta nodded. "Okay. If you say so..." She then gave Floral a playful tap on the side before turning and trotting off back to her house.
Floral chuckled and continued on, stopping once she arrived at her destination. Looking up at the gingerbread house-like shop, she let out a giggle. Floral had a particularly wicked sweet tooth. During Nightmare Nights, she would eat a whole bag of candy in one, if not two, nights. Giggling to herself, she stepped up to the door and entered.
At the counter was the well-loved pink party pony. As Floral entered, the pink pony looked up from her party magazine.
"Hiya, Floral!" she greeted with a smile. "Back for more sweetie goodness?"
The bright pink mare chuckled. "You bet, Pinks. Whatcha got?"
"Oh, the usual! Sweet Suckers, Apple Dippers, Cinnamon Biscuits, Chocolate Swirls, Cotton Candy, Sugar Cubes, Chocolate Chip Cookies..." the pink mare went on, listing a whole bunch of sweets and sweet foods.
"How about a little of everything?" asked Floral, her mouth watering.
Pinkie Pie giggled. "Sure. Come with me," she said, leaving the counter and heading towards the basement door. "I need some more supplies... as usual," she said, singing the last part.
Floral followed with a giggle. "Yeah, I have a major... sweet tooth."
"I think you're probably our number one customer! Apart from me, of course."
The two continued heading down to the basement before heading to the supply room.
"Somewhere in here..." said Pinks, rummaging through some boxes.
Floral looked around, mouth watering even more as she eyed all the sweets. She trotted up to a jar of chocolate and licked her lips.
"Mmm... Looks so good..." she said, reaching out with a hoof.
Suddenly, she felt a whack on the back of the head before falling unconscious.
"Ah ah ah..." sang Pinkie, dropping a fake, plastic candy cane. "You have to pay for that."
Floral awoke as a bucket hit her in the head. She let out pained yelp and whimpered.
"Wh-What was that?" she asked, sniffling.
"Well, I was gonna splash water on you..." came a familiar voice. "but I was too lazy to fill the bucket..."
Floral shook her head and then realized she was tied to a chair. "Wh-What the...?!"
The pink mare giggled, her mane now straight. "What's wrong? Bad joke?"
"WHAT"S WRONG WITH YOU??!!!" cried the mare. "Let me go!!!"
"Yeah, no..." said the pink mare, trotting off to the side. "I have so much planned for you," she said, wheeling a covered cart over.
"Wh-What's under that blanket?!" the mare whimpered, struggling to get free. The pink mare giggled and pulled the blanket off the cart, revealing an array of sharp instruments The bright pink mare went wide-eyed. "No, please!!!" she pleaded.
The pink mare picked up a scalpel and stepped up to the mare. "Now, comes the fun part," she cheered befre swiping at the mare, cutting her cheek.
Floral gasped as blood began to leak from the wound. "No..."
The pink mare giggled. "You're right, no... I need something... a little bigger," she said, stabbing the mare in the hind leg with the scalpel. Floral yelped loudly as Pinkamena picked up a kitchen knife. "Now, THIS is more like it!"
"NO!" yelled Floral. "Pinkie, please, I beg you!" Tears now streamed the mare's face.
The pink mare raised the knife and then swung down. Floral gasped and, as a reaction, jumped back. The chair tipped over as the knife grazed the roped.
Pinks giggled. "That was close... I almost cut you free..." she said, putting her hooves on the chair and tipping it back upright. "That would've sucked, right?"
Floral whimpered and shook in her chair. "Please, Pinkie..." she pleaded some more, her tears hitting the hard cement floor.
Pinks then stabbed the mare in the left shoulder, making her scream in pain. The pink mare then began to twist it.
"NOOO!!!" cried the mare.
Magenta sat on the couch in the living room, letting out a sigh.
"Where are you, sis?" she thought aloud. She then looked at the clock. "All right, it's been way too long..." she said, getting up. "Time to come home."
With that, she left the house, heading towards Sugarcube Corner.
After a few more minutes of torture, the mare had cuts all over her. A pool of blood lay beneath her chair, and only getting bigger.
Pinkie huffed. "Wow... You sure can take a LOT!" she cheered.
Floral spit out a mouthful of blood and coughed. In addition to her cuts, she also had numerous amounts of bruises. "Please..." she said weakly. "I can't... take it anymore..."
The pink mare giggled. "Just one last thing..." she said, reaching on the bottom shelf of the cart and pulling out a gasoline tank. "BOO-YEAH!!!" she cheered, slamming it down on the floor in front of Floral.
The bound mare went wide-eyed. "I beg you... Just stab me, please... Not that... A-Anything but that..."
The pink mare thought for a second before shaking her head. "NOPE!" She then splashed the tank's contents on the mare. It covered her and the floor beneath her, a large pool forming beneath and behind her. The pink mare then lit the match. "Time to burn!" she said with a giggle.
Floral gasped and began to pull with her hind legs. The cut from the knife earlier had weakened it enough that she started to feel it give way. Just before Pinks could lower the match, Floral broke her hind legs free and kicked the mare's hoof. Pinks let out a gasp as the match flew from her hoof, over Floral's head, and landing behind her. The gas behind her lit up instantly as Pinks stepped back with a grin. The fire kept getting closer and closer to the mare as the rope started to burn. After a few seconds, the fire burnt through the ropes enough, making them snap. Floral then fell forward, the scalpel in her leg getting whacked on her way down.
She let out a yelp of pain and sobbed. "Shit..."
Pinks glared as Floral crawled away, whacking her forelegs on the floor to put the fire out. The pink mare then trotted over to her and kicked her in the stomach. "THINK YOU CAN ESCAPE??!!!" she yelled. "NO PONY ESCAPES!!!"
Magenta trotted closer to the shop when all of a sudden she saw the side of the building catch on fire. She let out a gasp. "FIRE!!!" she called, running closer.
The fire in the basement now spread to the ceiling, smoke starting to fill the room. Floral coughed as Pinks kicked her again. The pink mare then got on top of her.
"I'm gonna enjoy finishing you off. After all... I ALWAYS have the last laugh," she said with an evil grin, raising the kitchen knife.
A snap was heard above them and Pinks looked up. Floral quickly slid out from under her as a beam fell on the pink mare, knocking her out. Floral coughed and covered her mouth, limping towards the stairs. She made it about halfway up before passing out from the smoke.
Her vision came back for only a second and she realized she was on a stretcher being wheeled by two fireponies. Just as they brought her to the ambulance, her vision faded again as she, once again, passed out.
When her vision fully returned, she found herself in a hospital bed. Letting out a groan, she closed her eyes. "Ah, hell..."
"Feeling better?" asked a friendly voice. Floral opened her eyes to see her sister. "Oh, sis... I'm so glad to see you."
"Are you okay? I saw the fire, a-and... I called the fire department... Oh, Celestia, I was so worried..."
Floral smiled. "I'm fine... Just weak..." She let out a cough. "How long was I in here?"
"About a day or two."
"And... what of P-Pinks?"
"Dead," said a male's voice as a Guard entered the room. "We found a burnt body in the fire. It was practically crushed under a fallen beam."
Floral exhaled. "Thank shit... That mare was nuts."
"Nurses say you can go home today, but I'll need a full written statement later," said the Guard.
Floral nodded. "Of course."
Floral opened the door to her house and entered. "Oh, it feels so good to be home..."
Magenta smiled. "All right... Well, I'm gonna get ready for bed..."
Floral nodded. "All right, sis..."
Magenta nodded and trotted into the bathroom. Floral heard the shower turn on the curtain close before she sat on the couch, humming. Just as she leaned her head back, ready to relax, the phone rang. She let out a groan and stood up, heading into the kitchen. She then picked up the phone.
"Hello?" she asked, stepping into the hall.
"Miss Floral?" asked a female voice.
"Yes?"
"Hello, I'm with the hospital... and I have some bad news."
"What is it?"
"It's your sister... She's dead."
Floral stopped moving. "What?" she asked, eying the bathroom door.
"She died in the fire today at Sugarcube Corner."
"N-No, no, no... That was Pinkie Pie."
"No, I'm sorry... DNA records show her as Magenta. Your sister, yes?"
"Um..." whimpered Floral, approaching the bathroom door.
"So sorry, miss--" Floral hung up, cutting the mare off as she pushed the bathroom door open.
She slowly began to trot towards the shower when something in the sink caught her eye/ Trotting over to it, she saw it was stained with black hair dye and a few pink hairs. Her eyes went wide as the shower curtain opened, making the mare spin around. Standing in the shower was a pink mare whose short hair had black hair dye being washed out of it, revealing pink underneath.
"You would not believe the kind of day I had," she said with a smirk. Floral just stared wide-eyed, She was too scared to move and too scared to speak. "I told you I always have the last laugh!"
"NOOOO!!!" cried Floral as the pink mare laughed hysterically.

Hospital Horror

Fluttershy awoke with a gasp, a sharp pain in her stomach making her gasp and whimper. She held it with a foreleg and looked around, noticing she was in a hospital. An abandoned hospital from the looks of it.
"Hello?" she called softly, shaking in fear. No answer. "Somepony? Anypony?"
When there was no answer again, she pulled the sheets off and fell out of bed with a yelp. The pain in her stomach wasn't the only pain she head. When she hit the floor, her head had a burst of stinging pain. She wailed and held it, rolling onto her back.
"Wh-Wh-What happened?" she whimpered.
Suddenly there was a noise down the halls outside the room. Shy let out a gasp and crawled under the bed. As soon as she was hidden, a pony figure entered the room. Fluttershy gasped as it was missing the bottom jaw, its tongue hanging out as blood stained the lips. They eyes were nothing but empty, bloody sockets. The pony itself was wearing a straitjacket.
It looked around the room before leaving. Shy put a hoof over her mouth and whimpered before crawling out from under the bed. She looked around the room for anything she could use as a weapon. She soon spotted a can of scalpels on a nurse's cart. She quickly hobbled over to it and took one before two creatures appeared in the doorway.
Shy gasped as a creature let out a roar. "No, please!" she cried as one of them ran at her.
The yellow mare gasped as she was tackled and began stabbing the creature's side. The thing let out a hiss and reared back before Shy drove the scalpel in its eye. Tears streamed the shy mare's face as the creature fell beside her, dead. The other one ran at her as Shy scooted back.
"S-Stay away!!!" she cried as the creature lunged.
This time, she was ready, and held out the scalpel, stabbing the creature in the eye and killing it. She then rolled the body off of her and curled up, crying.
The shy mare stuck her head out of her room and looked down the hall. The hospital looked rundown and falling apart, rust on the walls and pieces of the wall missing.
"Wh-What's happened here?" she whimpered, entering the hallway.
The yellow mare kept trotting down the hall when she spotted a door with a large crack in it. She gasped and froze before slowly trotting over to it. The mare reached up and opened the door slightly, peering in. Inside, she saw something that froze her to the core. The far wall had a large, glowing red hole. Just then a pony creature stepped through and hissed at Shy, making her gasp. She then turned and ran.
"Wh-What's happening?!" she cried. "I want my friends!!!"
Her teary eyes made it hard for her to see where she was going and caused her to run into another creature. It hissed at her and lunged as she dove to the side, gasping.
"Oh, gosh!" she cried, taking off down the hall. "Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Oh, my GO-OSH!!!"
She rounded a corner and saw a group of creatures ahead. She let out a whimper and dove into a nearby room, closing and locking the door. She then backed up against the far wall and then dove under a nearby bed. The silhouette of a pony appeared in the window, making Shy gasp and cover her mouth. The doorknob began to rattle before banging noises were heard. Shy whimpered audibly before a clicking noise was heard.
The door swung open as a creature stepped in, looking around. The shy mare did her best to keep as quiet as possible so as not to alert the creature. It wasn't easy for her considering her fragile nature but more than anything, she didn't want to be caught. This gave her an advantage and made her stay silent. The creature looked around a bit more before running out, snarling. Fluttershy covered her face and whimpered softly. Shy then winced and held her head as another jolt of pain shot through her body. The pegasus just lay there for a bit longer before sliding out from under the bed.
She stuck her head out from the room and looked down the rusty halls. When she saw it was clear, she left and slowly headed down the hall, hugging the wall. When she got to an intersection, she looked at the exit sign and followed the arrow, still hugging the wall.
"Please..." she whimpered. "Let me go..."
She then took off down the hall, the door to the stairs coming into view. She dove through the door and slammed it shut when there was a banging noise on the other side.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" cried Shy, holding the door shut.
The creatures snarled as they tried to open the door. One pushed it open to slip its bony foreleg through. Shy gasped and stabbed it. The creature let out a hiss and pulled back. The pegasus then took deep breaths before taking off down the stairs. The doors burst open and the creatures began to chase her. Shy whimpered and cried.
"NO! PLEASE!!!" she wailed, when, suddenly, she felt a pain in her chest.
She let out a yelp and tripped, tumbling down the stairs and hitting the bottom with a thud. She let out whimpers as she weakly tried to crawl away. Her whole body ached and her hind leg felt broken or dislocated. When she got to the door to the third floor, she weakly reached up and tried the doorknob, finding it locked. She cried and wailed.
"Nooo... Nooo-ooo... Please..." she whimpered.
She heard a noise behind her and gasped, letting out a high-pitched scream.
"Breaking news," said the news mare. "After Fluttershy, who had recently been in a terrible car accident while visiting Ponytropolis, awoke in the hospital and proceeded in an attempt to escape, killing 2 nurses and wounding another in the process. It was reported that she kept screaming when approached by a nurse or doctor. She was then captured and transferred to the Manehattan Asylum. It seems she had suffered head trauma and had hallucinations that she was being attacked by strange creatures. We all wish her the best and for a speedy recovery, but it's not looking good... In other news..."
