Chapter 1

"Spike? Spike!" Twilight had to slap Spike on the tail to wake him up. Spike was a born daydreamer. He could daydream wherever he wanted, any place any time. The library was his main daydreaming place and whatever Twilight did, she just couldn't find a way to prevent Spike from daydreaming anymore. She was reading a story to him; Alice's adventures in Fillyland. Spike didn't want to read it at first but after reading the first two chapters, Spike started to love it. He had always imagined what it would be like to actually be transported into Fillyland like Alice. As much as he loved Ponyville, he felt that Fillyland could be the place for him.

"Oh Spike you made me lose my page! Where was I?.... Oh yes! So Alice followed the quick footed white rabbit into the tunnel..." At this point the adventure commenced!

"Where am I? Er..Twilight is that you?" Spike woke up to see Twilight peering into him. "Yes I am, and you are?"

"I'm Spike! Remember me? The library? Your baby dragon?"

"I don't remember coming across any baby dragons. What's this library you're talking of? I love books, take me there!" Twilight squealed in excitement.

"Well I would if I could...Where exactly am I?" Spike asked Twilight.

"Well you must be a foreigner. Well in that case, welcome to Fillyland!" Twilight was so pleased to have found a guest to show around. Usually she wouldn't be allowed to. She was just one of those Fillyland residents who was busy with her books. That's what everyone thought of her.

"That would be very helpful but the Ponyville Twilight will be wondering..."

Twilight couldn't wait for him to finish his sentence. He was a guest and had to be shown around. She took firm hold of his arm and dragged him along with her, into the tunnel and then out again with a scruffy and breathless Spike. Twilight then opened a great golden gate. In front of Spike's eyes was a magnificent garden.

"This, my dear Spike is the garden of all gardens." Twilight whispered. Spike couldn't believe his eyes. He was somehow transported into the book. He was Alice, well sort of.

"Oh so this is the bit where Alice walks around the garden!" Spike was amazed.

"What in the outskirts of Equestria are you talking about?" Twilight was puzzled.

Spike, forgetting that these characters didn't even know that the book existed just shrugged his shoulders and walked on.

"Oh no! I forgot the meeting! Oh I'm late I'm late I'm late! Don't worry kiddo, just a little slip of the time. I'll leave you here, you'll be able to find your way around. It's jolly simple. Got to go!" Twilight hurried down the garden and jumped into a little hole at the end of it.

"Twilight wait!" Spike followed her, jumped into the hole and found himself falling down. After a while he somehow managed to stay afloat and slowed himself down. This was a space full of furniture items, from the small chairs to the largest grand pianos. You name it he saw it. He felt like he was skydiving and had activated the parachute. He closed his eyes, this was an amazing feeling. Thump! He suddenly fell to the ground.
