Apple Jack and Shadow Stalkers love story
ch2 six yrs later and reaserch
Dear Diary,Well, it has been six years since I was born. I have dark blue fur just like my mom and I have a dark blue mane and tail just like my daddy. Cloudsdale is my home and I live with my dad, Rainbow Blitz. I’m going to a flight camp soon, my flying skills aren’t that good, so my dad sent me here, but I’m nervous. This place is unfamiliar and I don’t really know anypony there, and what if they make fun of me? That is just something I can’t stand. My sister Rainbow Dash has been to flight camp before, so it fell on her to take me to camp then brings me home at the end of each day.XXXXXXXXXXXX
“But why Daddy? Why do I have to go to flight camp? I mean, it’s not like I have to go or anything. I won’t be any different if I went or not.” Shadow Stalker whined with tears forming in his eyes. Blitz gulped uneasily but put up his Have Fun Today smile. "Um, well, you see…” He stammered, sweating bullets, his smile was wavering. Although struggling, the stallion was clearly trying to explain to his son why he has to go to flight camp.“Well, kiddo, you’re kind of a weak flier right now. And all little young weak flyers go to Flight Camp so they can be strong and big and be great flyers. Don’t you want to improve your flight strength and speed?” He asked hoping. Shadow didn’t smile back he just stomped hard on the cloud floor."But that still does not make sense on why I have to go!" He screamed. Rainbow Blitz sighed at this and was wondering how Luna would have handled a situation like this. Unfortunately, she left Blitz all by himself to handle the colt while she left for her duties in Canterlot. Blitz is still trying to come up with an idea on how to cope with this. Rainbow Dash was a little easier to handle when she was younger. He gasped at the thought. He turned to the doorway knowing Rainbow Dash was in the family room.“Rainbow Dash? Could you come in here, please?” He asked. Rainbow Dash walked in through the door and stood with him. “Yeah Dad? What is it?” She asked curiously. The rainbow pigtail filly is now ten years old, her mane is shaggier making her look more like the rough and tough foals in big foal school. She hasn’t gotten her cutie mark yet, which was something that concerned her deeply. “I want you to take Shadow Stalker to Flight camp". Blitz said with a grin. “Won’t that be fun?” Rainbow looked at him with surprise. “But Dad if I take Shadow Stalker to Flight Camp I will be late for my first day of Flight School and the teacher would be wondering where I was and then I would have to tell them". Rainbow said with fear in her voice in case somepony noticed that she and Shadow Dash are brother and sister, which was still a touchy subject for the young flier.“Please Dash, can you take your brother to Flight Camp. And if you do run late or if ponies asked, just tell them that you and Shadow Stalker are cousins. They won't question it further." Her father said with a quirked brow. “Aww, fuck me why do I have to take Shadow Stalker to flight camp, he should be fine without having me to take him.” Rainbow Dash thought harshly. She looked at her darker brother wishing that her six-year-old brother could have been more of a better flier like her. Shadow looked insulted at the idea her father thought up."B-b-but Daddy, why do I still have to go? It’s not like Rainbow Dash went when she was my age I mean she’s awesome!” He said pointing his hoof at his sister to see her blush with praise."Umm, well, you see Shadow.” Rainbow said scratching the back of her head. She had to tell him that even she had to go to Flight Camp when she was younger. But her father came in which was a great relief. “Well you see Shadow, even your sister, at one time had to go to Camp herself.” Blitz said. Shadow was shocked to learn that his sister actually went to Flight Camp and he is staring blankly at Rainbow Dash with his mouth just hanging open trying to grasp how his sister went to Flight Camp."W-what?” Shadow Stalker finally said still trying to get his mind back together after being blown sky high. “Well, now you know little brother." Rainbow said with a grin. "Does that change your view of me?" Shadow balked at that and shook his head. "No, never". He trotted over to nuzzle her cheek. Rainbow blushed at that but smiled ruffling his mane. Blitz smiled watching Rainbow nuzzle her brother in return. After a short moment, Shadow looked up at her. "Can I go to Flight Camp?" Blitz chuckled as Rainbow Dash sighed."Alright, I'll take you to Flight Camp.""Yay!" Shadow cheered jumping up and down his tiny dark blue wings flapping.Rainbow sat with her father watching the tiny pegasus jump up and down cheering. Blitz turned to look at Rainbow. She blinked the looked up at him seeing his smile."What?" she asked curiously.Blitz shrugged chuckling. "You sure have come a long way from being four years old and not wanting a baby brother," He started seeing Rainbow blush again with her ears folded back on her head."Now look at you, you're ten years old and you love him." He sighed wrapping his wing around Rainbow giving her a tiny squeeze. "I am just so proud of you". He sighed as tears slowly rolled down his cheeks.Shadow stopped his hopping and turned to see his father with tears. Rainbow looked up at him too concerned. Both Shadow and Rainbow walk up to their daddy and start to nuzzle him. Blitz smiled proudly hugging his two little foals so lucky to have them as his own. “Are you OK now, Daddy?" Shadow asked with a smile. "You were crying and Dashie and I helped make you feel better?" Blitz smiled ruffing his son's mane then wrapped him in a hug. Shadow hugged him back happy that his father isn't crying anymore.
Back at Canterlot, at the dead of night, Luna kept looking to her sister as she paced in the Canterlot Library. The last time Luna saw her sister acting so stressed was when Discord took over. But Luna knew the reason why. Celestia is very concerned over the fact that Shadow Stalker has no horn. Being born from an Alicorn is rare, and even not being born an Alicorn is just as rare. But Shadow should have been born with a horn as well as his wings to. Luna, she figured that Shadow was just a late bloomer and will earn the right in his own time. But it still doesn't stop her from worrying. Celestia on the other hoof was more concerned for the future than the present. What if Shadow's horn never grew? That's what was causing Celestia to spend long nights up with Luna which lately is worrying Luna to no end."Sister, you really should get some rest." Luna said for the tenth time that night. "You have to get some sleep and restore your energy so you can raise and lower the sun. Just please go to bed. I'll keep doing the research on my own until I find an explained reason why Shadow Stalker has no horn." Luna sighed seeing Celestia still pacing back and forth in front of her. Her sister looked like she would crash on the floor any second if Luna doesn't get her to bed first.Celestia stopped her pacing to turn to her younger sister, with bags under her eyes, sleepy. "Alright sister, I'll get some sleep." she paused to let out a yawn, she covered her mouth then rubbed her eye. "Oh dear, excuse me. Are you sure you don't need any more help."Help is the least of what Luna wants at the moment. Luna smiled. "I'll be fine."Princess Luna watched her sister smile sleepily at her before crawling onto some cushions by the window. She laid her head down on her pillow to sleep. Luna sighed in relief. She found a folded up blanket on the counter and draped it over her sister. Luna smiled and nuzzled her sister's cheek."Sleep tight sister." She whispered. She sighed softly then turned back to the pile of books she and Celestia were looking through most of the evening. "I hope I can find some sort of answer soon. When Shadow reaches the age, he'll be ruling beside us . . . But can he still rule without his horn?" She asked herself silently, to not wake up her sister. She started to pace now getting the worry bug form her sister. Curse you, Celestia! She thought with a smirk at her sleeping sister's way."Princess Luna," A voice called out. Luna stopped her pacing to see one of her night guards trotting into the room. Luna shushed him pointing to her sister. The guard gulped and nodded sitting down outside the room. Luna walked out of the library to stand by him."Yes, what is it, Lieutenant Dark Thunder?" Luna asked nicely with a calm look on her face. Lieutenant Dark Thunder was a yellow pony with black stripes, who blinked then blushed when he heard her question."Well it’s just that you were talking to yourself, ma'am. It made me worry." He mentioned clearing his throat. Luan blinked with a blush herself that her guard caught her talking to herself."Oh well . . . I uh . . . You see,” Luna stammered. She took in a deep breath and let it out. She swallowed her pride and decided to tell him."Well you see lieutenant, my son, Shadow Stalker, wasn't born with a horn, which concerns me very deeply. If he doesn't get his horn, what would I do if he can’t rule Equestria with Celestia and me?"Lieutenant Dark Thunder thought for a moment, he smiled at an idea."Ahem, Princess, If your son never gets his horn, how about you send him to school to join your Night Guard." Luna turned to him with bewilderment. "This way he will always be with you and this way you both will get to spend time together." He finished smiling. He noticed Luan was smiling too nodding, rubbing her forearm under her chin thinking. The idea was a good one, and she liked it. But part of her was frightened for her son. Shadow would join the guard and might get hurt or killed even. A nightmare every parent wished to never come true, a child dying at a young adult age. She turned to her lieutenant to see him watching her expecting her answer. Finally, Luna sighed. "That is a good idea, Lieutenant, but you would have to train him. Because you are the best and I trust you will do what you can to make him strong." The lieutenant nodded and saluted to her before leaving on his patrol. When the sun came up the next morning, Luna went to be in her chambers. Closing the curtains to keep the sun out and soon crawl into her bed and started to dream. In the dream, she witnesses the small village of Ponyville. In this dream she can see an older and stronger Shadow Stalker trotting to a fair earth pony mare. By the look on the blushes on their faces they were smitten for one another. The earth pony was a strong looking mare with an orange fur coat, blonde mane and tail, and an old worn Stetson hat upon her head. So Shadow Stalker will get his horn, but he will fall for an earth pony. So this must be a dream about the future. Luna thought in her dreams. But something caught her dream eye as she turned back to the couple. She noticed the cutie-marks on both ponies. The earth pony mare's cutie-mark are three red apples. Hmm, probably by the look of the mare she might be a farmer or a rancher. Her eyes roved to Shadow Stalker's flank and gasped with a smile to see his cutie mark. His cuie-mark is a shield with a dark blue lightning bolt with wings on the shield.

A new colt is born (re edited)
Rainbow Blitz was running to the hospital and is wondering how he overslept. After all, today is the day when his son is going to be born and he is going as fast as his hooves can take him and thinking on how to get there.
After he and Luna had Rainbow Dash, everything seemed perfect. They had a young foal and they were one happy family until Luna decided to have another baby, and after months of trying she was with child once again, so they went to the doctor to see what gender it is and after a long time of waiting, the doctor came in and told them that they would be having a colt, but he does not know the colors it would be until the foal is born and that they would have to pick out the name for the colt.
Blitz was now five blocks away from the hospital and he chuckled out loud and shivered at the thought of the argument he and Luna have had over naming there new colt and every time they argued he had to sleep on the uncomfortable couch and last night was one of those nights. That is why he was running late to the hospital.
Princess Celestia is helping her younger sister to the PonyVille hospital. But when they get there, the place was already filled to the brim with ponies, so they had to go to the Canterlot Hospital in the castle, which is only used for the royalty and for the royal guards.
As soon as the two alicorn sisters got there, it was time for Luna to go in. Once the young alicorn got in her room she had to put on a hospital gown, which is hard to do when she’s with child, so she had to use her magic to put it on. After that hard task was completed she had to climb into the hospital bed.
As she was trying to get comfortable in the scratchy bed, she took a glance around the room. Floating by her bedside were balloons with the well-known description: “It’s A Colt!” in bright letters. She roved her eyes to the nightstand next to her where she can see the picture of her family. The picture was of herself, Rainbow Blitz and a tiny Rainbow Dash. It was her idea to bring the picture so the new colt would know who his family is.
Rainbow Blitz came crashing through the Canterlot Hospital doors looking for his wife. Without help, he stubbornly looked all over the place until he finally found her into the room she was assigned. He took in a calming breath then stepped into the room. He approached her with a caring smile as she smiled in return. He stroked her sparkling mane.
“Sorry I’m late. How are you doing?” He asked gently even though he is still out of breath from the run.
Before she could even get a word out of her mouth she started giving birth and the doctors came rushing in telling her to push, which she was. While this whole process was taking place, the only thing running through her frazzled mind was how Rainbow Blitz was faring. She turned to see him looking pale and woozy and all the nurses were flocking to him, caring for him. She rolled her eyes at that. Finally after a long while, the colt came to the world. The doctors and nurses went straight to cleaning and examining him.
After resting for a bit, the couple looked into the crib sitting next to the bed containing the small foal, their foal, to be precise. His coat was a dark blue like his mother’s, while having a thick purple mane and tail in a similar style to his father’s. The little colt was sleeping peacefully in the crib, tucked in with his blue blanket, sucking on his hoof.
"So, what are we going to name him?" whispered Rainbow Blitz smiling proudly.
Luna shrugged as she continues to watch the little one. “I don’t really know, Blitz,” Luna replied, “Do you think we should consult the name book, again?”
Rainbow Blitz shuddered at the thought. Many arguments had been fought over just considering a name. More than once he had to sleep on the couch after a horrible screaming match. “No, I think we’re good. We must have looked through it at least a dozen times, and I’m sure between the two of us, we could come up with a good name.” He concluded with a grin.
As the two continue to discuss names, Princess Celestia trots slowly into the room. “Good morning, Luna. You too, Blitz.” She noticed the crib and a little form inside. She carefully and silently tiptoed to the crib and leaned her head over the crib to see the new colt. Smiling, she turns back to her sister,
“So I’m guessing the birth went well? He certainly seems like a healthy young colt.”
Luna smirked playfully at her. She put her hoof over her head dramatically, “Oh, it was quite painful sister, several times I had conflicting emotions on what to do to him over there.” She pointed her hoof toward Blitz. He looked up from the crib hearing his name seeing the mares smile at him knowingly. Blitz cleared his throat rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.
“Hey Luna, hey Rainbow Blitz is that your new colt?" asked Princess Celestia to her younger alicorn sister Luna
"Yes, he is." said Rainbow Blitz with a proud smile.
"What’s his name?" asked Princess Celestia, with an intrigued smile.
"Shadow Stalker," answered Luna. Blitz nodded in acknowledgement.
"What a beautiful name," cooed Princess Celestia with an adoring look in her bright eyes.
"Thank you, sister.” Luna said with pride that her sister approved. Luan blinked at an idea. “Would you like to hold him for a while, sister?" asked Luna, gesturing at the crib. Celestia blushed then nodded.
"Yes, please," Princess Celestia with a chuckle. As Luna levitates little Shadow Stalker to her older sister to hold a surprise visitor entered the room. The surprise is a little filly, about four years old with braided pigtails of rainbow. Rainbow Blitz blinked with surprise seeing their first-born daughter walk into the room. He shied away from her eyes in embarrassment.
"Wh-what’s going on in here?" Little Rainbow asked with a scrutinizing expression that matched her mother’s to the quirked eyebrow.
"Ummm... well, uh, you see..." Rainbow Blitz said, trying to figure out how to tell his daughter about her new baby brother. He tried explaining it to her before, but fathers weren’t the best ponies to tell their little fillies where babies came from.
"Ummm... well Rainbow Dash, this is your, ah, little brother Shadow Stalker." said Rainbow Blitz with an over exaggerated smile.
"What?!" screamed Rainbow Dash. Blitz’s ears went flat on his head from the cry. "I wanted a little sister, not a damn brother!" Rainbow's eyes now filled with water because she does not like to yell at her dad like that. Blitz blinked hearing the curse.
“Now, Rainbow Dash, ladies are not supposed to swear!” He barked immediately. He glared at her sternly until she started crying. Blitz lowered his stern glare feeling ashamed. He wrapped his arms around his daughter.
"I know you did not want a brother, Dash, but it just happened," he said gently nuzzling her, "Besides Rainbow,"
“Besides what, dad?” She asked with a sniff.
"That fact that you will be an awesome sister." Said Rainbow Blitz with a grin.
"Really?" asked Rainbow Dash with a small smile.
"Yep, and he will look up to you and look to you for guidance and advice." He said ruffling her mane. Rainbow smiled back at him then frowned at a thought.
"But what if I can't answer any of his questions, Dad? Then what?" Rainbow Dash asked with worry.
Blitz smiled with a wink at her. "Then come to me and we’ll answer those questions together." He said with a nod. Little Rainbow nodded in return. Suddenly the cry of a foal was heard. The family turned to see that it was Shadow Stalker.
"Aww, the poor dear. Let me just put him back into his crib and kiss him goodnight." Princess Luna said taking levitating the foal from Celestia and set him back in his little crib next to her bed. Rainbow Dash left her father to walk up to the little colt’s crib. She climbed up onto the hospital bed then looked down at him. When Shadow Stalker yawn Rainbow started to smile at him.
"Well, maybe having a little brother will be a good thing.” Rainbow said smiling. Blitz and Luna looked at one another smiling. “You will be an awesome colt, and you will never be alone, Shadow Stalker. You will always have me and I will help you solve all your problems. I will give you advice and I will always love you, Shadow Stalker." Rainbow Dash whispered smiling at him. Blitz and Luna both let out sighs of relief. Rainbow Dash is going to accept her new brother after all.
Later that day when Luna and Blitz left for some lunch, Shadow Stalker woke up from his nap. He looked up to see Rainbow Dash smiling down at him. Shadow Stalker sniffed then starts to cry, he doesn’t recognize this strange new pony watching him.
"Oh, that’s just great, he’s crying." Rainbow Dash whispered with worry. She reaches down and pulled out Shadow Stalker, holding him in her forearms, rocking him back and forth, "Shhhhhhhhhh, It’s ok Shadow Stalker, it’s just me, Rainbow Dash. I’m your big sister." Rainbow Dash was trying to calm him down softly. Slowly and surly, Shadow Stalker began to calm down, he stopped crying enjoying the movement of Rainbow’s rocking then he fell asleep.
While Rainbow Dash was rocking Shadow Stalker to sleep, Blitz stood by the doorway peeking into the room to watch with pride seeing his children together.
"Maybe I will make a great sister. I mean he seems to like me a whole lot." Rainbow Dash whispered to herself while setting her little brother back into his crib and tucked him into his blue blanket.
Rainbow Dash retreated to the small couch in the room watching him. Blitz walked into the room and he sat down next to her. They sat in silence for the first few minutes just in case Shadow wake up again. When he didn’t make a cry, Rainbow turned to her father.
"Dad, do you think other ponies are going to know that Shadow Stalker and I are brother and sister?" She asked curiously. Blitz thought for a moment then turned back to her.
"I don't know, Rainbow Dash, they might but then again they might not. They might just think that you two are cousins. I doubt that any pony will think that you two are brother and sister." Rainbow nodded thinking for a moment at what she was told.
"Really, daddy?” She asked still unconvinced. “Because if other ponies found out that he is my younger brother, they would not leave him alone! They would be bugging him or they could use him to get to me.” Blitz watched Rainbow as she made her reasoning known. She looked serious. “So we have to keep that he is my brother hidden, ok dad?" She asked with a look of worry. Blitz nodded slowly.
"I can understand that, Rainbow, but why would they use him to get to you?" He asked curiously.
"In case I become a Wonderbolt, Dad." Rainbow answered seriously with a nod and a smirk on her face. Blitz blinked then chuckled before nodding.
"Oh, OK, sweetie.”
While Rainbow Dash and Rainbow Blitz are talking, Shadow Stalker was tossing and turning in his sleep. He started dreaming a strange dream: a dream of a tiny village filled with many types of ponies; unicorns, earth ponies, and even pegasi. In the dream he can tell strangely enough that six ponies of all three types get along together and go on adventures together.
But there was this one pony, just one pony that caught his eye. Something felt strange in his chest as he looked at her. This feeling get stronger the longer he looked at her. All he knows is that this pony, here . . . She looked beautiful. Even though this is a dream, it seemed that when he looked into her eyes, she had the same feeling.
