Lonely Happiness

Diamond Tiara looked over at Apple Bloom, and couldn`t help t feel a bit of sadness for her fellow earth pony, no matter how strange it felt to her. Diamond Tiara knew what had happened to Apple Bloom. She knew that her two closest friends had died, and she still considered it to be her fault, even after the police had figured out that it was caused by a faulty oven.

Diamond Tiara walked over to Apple Bloom and sat beside her.

"You know that what happened wasn`t your fault, right?"

"Stop tryinta lie ta me. Ah know that it was mah fault, and nothins gonna change it. So just make whatever little jokes you want. Nothin` can change that it was mah fault."

Before Apple Bloom could walk away, she suddenly felt a warm pair of lips pressing against hers. She looked around, still in shock, only to find that the aforementioned lips belonged to none other than Diamond Tiara, her former mortal enemy.

"What.. What just happened?"

"Can anypony explain the mystery of love?"

"Is this some kinda sick joke!? Cause for some reason, ah really hope it isnt."

"Its not. Ive... Ive always had a little of a crush on you. You know, that way you just walk around, not caring what anypony else thinks about you. And youve never had to rely on anything other than yourself to know youre beautiful. You have that... That natural beauty. And thats one of the main reasons I fell in love with you. But I just was always scared you wouldn`t feel the same. You do, right?"

"Ummm... What kinda question is that!? If ah didn`t like you too, I woulda knocked you away as soon as you kissed me."

"You know, Apple Bloom, I think this is going to be the start of something beautiful."
