Lonely Happiness

As Apple Bloom walked along the road to the Golden Oaks Library, one would have thought that she was unreasonably happy since Diamond Tiara was following her. In truth, this was going to be the first time that anypony found out about them. The two earth ponies stopped at the door, as Apple Bloom knocked.

They were greeted, of course, by a greatly confused Twilight Sparkle, who almost seemed to think that the fillies were trying to prank her.

"Umm... Hey! Hows it going, girls?" Twilights voice was filled by a combination of confusion and surprise at seeing the two together, happy nonetheless.

Apple Bloom was the first to speak up.

"Ah just wanted to stop by and say hi, and Diamond here thought she might wanna come too."

"Is this some kind of joke? Because I thought that you two hated each other. With a passion."

"Well, there is a passion, but not a hateful one."

"If you two could excuse me for a minute, I need to go think about this for a minute." Before Diamond Tiara or Apple Bloom could protest, the library`s door was slammed shut in front of them.

Finally, Twilight thought, I can think this through. So. Diamond Tiara and Apple Bloom are in love. Either that, or they`re just pulling some kind of cruel joke.

No, if that were the case, the couldn`t even feign that level of happiness knowing that they were within four feet of each other.

I guess they found some way to see past their differences.

With a long inward breath, Twilight walked back to the door.
