Chapters Poniesdale hospital, rain pattering on the roof of the room. Tears flowing down a young light blue alicorn stallion's face. A high aged darkish blue pegasus mare laying on the hospital bed. Her eyes closed after having a serious attack.
"Rainbow." the alicorn stallion cried.
The alicorn stallion seemed to be thinking, thinking deeply about thoughts.
Come on Conner, you can do it! a voice in his head called.
I'm not sure, I don't think it'll work. a unicorn colt answered.
If you can't levitate yourself off the ground, I'll catch you! Trust me!
The colt swallowed, as he casts the spell and levitated off the cliff. He opened his eyes and started falling.
RAINBOW! the colt screamed.
The pegasus flew quickly down to catch him. She snatched him up bringing him up to the top again.
See I told ya, you could trust me.
Thanks Rainbow, you're the best big sister ever!
The young alicorn smiled at the memory. The darkish blue mare started to open her eyes.
"Rainbow?" Conner asked.
"Hey buddy, *Cough* What are you doing here? Don't you have to be with the princesses?" Rainbow asked.
"I wanted to spend time with my sister for the last time."
"What do you mean?"
"It's time for you to go. Joining the others that were once around."
"I figured it had to be sometime."
The alicorn stallion's eyes started filling up with tears. His beautiful eyes hurting from the thought of losing his sister. Using his magic to peacefully take her to the land above Heavensville.
"Will you be okay with me using my magic to let you go?" Conner asked.
"It will be great. *Cough* I would love it." Rainbow answered.
Silence.
"Do you remember the time when you first said my name?" Rainbow asked.
"Vaguely." Conner answered.
" Well, when you were born, mom held you in her hooves and said, ' Meet your little brother Conner.' I thought you would be a pegasus like me, instead you turned out to be a unicorn. I didn't think you would be as awesome as me, as you are now. But, when I was forced to babysit you for the first time, you drove me up the wall! I started to cry. You realized what you had done; you laid down next to me. I put you in bed and you fell asleep. Mom and dad came home and looked in your room. When we walked in, seeing you asleep. Mom and dad were so proud of me, but then you said my name. That was the first word you had ever spoke. I was so happy. Then I began to take you in as my little brother. I didn't care anymore that you were a unicorn, I wanted you to go far beyond what a pegasus could do, and seeing you now, you did it. thanks to me. I knew you needed me, and I needed you. When I you left me here, it was the hardest thing I could do, you are more than a brother to me, you're like my son."
"From that day I saw you for the first time, I felt that you were like my mother. When I left you, it was hard. But I really wanted to go somewhere, like you had encouraged me. I love you more than any pony else."
Rainbow started to cough harder. Like she was trying to cough something up. The darkish blue in her fur was turning pale. She truly was dying. Tears came to Conner's eyes, the time had come.
"I think it is time Rainbow. I just wanted to say, I love you more than anything in this whole world. I... I just wanted you to have that in your mind. As the last words you heard from me. I love you." Conner cried.
He used his power to cast the spell. Tears sprinting down is face. Within seconds, the blue pegasus was gone. He stopped the spell, looking at her lifeless body. Hugging her for the last time, the lifeless body, that was once his sister.
You're the best big sister ever!
Rainbow dressed so beautifully in her coffin, flowers grown rainbowy and magical. Prince Conner was standing beside the coffin, looking at what she had been. Remembering what she was while she was alive. Conner could only feel heartache. He lost the biggest part of his heart, his big sister, his best friend, his adopted mother. Rainbow ment the world to him, she was there by his side everyday, she told him to live his dream. The story that she had told him before she died, something he never really remembered. His big sister was his first word. Showing her that, he was much better than he thought.
Princess Kaylander and Princess Dallie came into the room, seeing the sad alicorn prince over the grave. They both knew that he was upset. Princess Dallie went over to him and snuggled.
" Hey Dallie." Coner said squeezing her in his arms.
" Hey Conner. You know that it's time right?" Princess Dallie asked.
" Yes, I know. I just, need more time. I have one question."
Princess Kaylander trotted over to him and sat down.
" Um, you know that I got this far because of her right?" Conner asked.
"Yeah, I remember." Princess Kaylander answered.
" Well, what would happen to her if I didn't know magic? What if I never came to the castle and stayed? What if I was an average unicorn? Would she still be alive, and it wouldn't feel so hurting?"
" Conner, it would have been worse. But think about what you have done for us, I wouldn't of met you, married you, and then been oh so happy with you." Princess Dallie answered.
" And your sister wouldn't still be alive because of Princess Moondrop, she would be ruling and I would be dead because of it. Your sister and her friends would be dead, and so would you. Because of your magical ability, you save them and me. You mean the world to them all." Princess Kaylander said.
" How do you know that?" Conner asked.
Kaylander and Dallie looked at each other, nodded, and handed him a slip of paper that was folded. Conner grabbed it.
" Before Stardella had passed away, she knew that all of the others weren't too far behind. She went to each of them, creating a note from them to you. They all loved you Conner, they never forgot that day you saved them. Soul Peach even put in her own input." Dallie explained.
Conner opened the letter, and started reading...
Dear Prince Conner,
Hey buddy it's your singing buddy Stardella. My time is almost up, and I can feel it. I know that every ponies time is close too. So I wanted to send you a letter of thanks, from that day, you saved all of Equestria, and us. Conner, when my sister Diamond said things about you, even though she knew nothing about you, I knew that there was something that she wasn't seeing in you. When I met your sister, I looked into her eyes and saw you, the magic feeling in you, the spark in her eyes let me know that, she wasn't crazy after all, she had a sweet side to her. And when I finally got to meet you, the day you saved us, I saw that potential in you. When that gate had to open with only alicorn magic, and you forced me to help. I looked at you and saw that this was the only way, I gave in. Casting the spell on me, I kind of felt magical again, but that was short lived. Eventilia and you knew what had to be done to me. Do you still dislike Eventinlina? She has kind of felt sorry for herself weeks later after you left, I know that's kind of late, but you must get my point. I wish I could have gone up there with you when you earned your wings. I think Rainbow would have felt good about it too, going up there with you. I really don't have anymore to say, I have to get ready for a concert. I hope to see you again soon Conner. Thank you for saving me from Princess Moondrop and helping her see, what the real point was. Thank you

You must remember me! Wolf Saver! The weird pony that saved a wolf, yep that's me. Stardella sent her wolf to me with this slip of paper telling me to write a note of thanks to you, from saving us. I never really knew you when you were a young colt, but there was something about you that I couldn't ponder about when we first met. You remember? When I came into that silver building,( Yeah, that's what I thought it was until I was finally told.) and we first laid eyes on one another? The day I became Rainbow's best friend, he he. Yeah, that was the best day of my life. And it was for you, thank you for saving us. You see, when I first came to Poniesdale, I didn't know any pony. When Mina brought me around, I found everything that had happened that day, that friendship was the only way to be happy. When I got to see you, when you visited, I knew that the both of you were more than big sister and little brother. It was kind of like what Savior and I felt for each other, best friends forever. Thank you Conner for saving us, Wolfganger feels the same way, he was there that night, when you saved us all. Thank you Prince Conner, the wolves thank you, and so do we. Thank you bud.

You remember me? It's your old friend Soul Peach! It's been so long since I have sent you a letter. Do you remember when we first met? Diamond was making fun of me, and you came up in front of me. You didn't say a word, Diamond decided to step back. You saved me, I thought that you and I would be together forever, but young foals dreams have to die at some point. Stardella sent me this letter to write thank you to you. I'm actually quiet glad that you saved us. I knew that you were going to be the best stallion in all of Equestria, and it's true right now. But my vision was totally different. I don't think I ever told you that when we were young. I kind of had a crush on you. Not like you could figure that out. When you found Princess Dallie and fell in love with her. I thought I was going to loose you. But I didn't, you were still my best friend, and I didn't want to loose that. Thank you.
