The Epic Pony Wars: A New Age

Chapter 2

The mid morning air danced across the shining armor of the youthful and brave Flash Sentry as he glided along the sparkling sun with great speed and posture, for this was no ordinary task he was given, at least in his case.

Sending an important message to Princess Twilight Sparkle, let alone any message at all, was a huge duty for his position as a royal castle guardian. All his time being so has been spend on hours and hours standing guard within the castle walls, unable to move a muscle. So you could say he was happy to even blink!

"Well, here I go" said the ambitious Pegasus known as Rainbow Dash as she stretched out her limbs and wings, about to attempt to break her sky clearing record. The blue, rainbow haired Pegasus stands proudly upon a cloud.

     Rainbow Dash eventually grew tired of the thought of just clearing the sky in ten seconds flat, she figured she could do better then that. "Maybe 9? Or 8? Or 6?!" She said out loud, cracking her neck one last time.

Today was her day to make history. History that would be in the school books of the future, that would shock the world in both amazement and disbelief. Just as any other world record there ever was.

Opening her wings out wide, Rainbow Dash took a deep breath as a fire burned in her eyes. She lifted herself about 2 inches off the ground as well as her timer. Counting down slowly, she closed her eyes, wearing a rather dignified smile. The countdown began:

"5......4.......3......2......" SWOOSH! A thundering shove of wind brushed through her Oura as she shouted "ONE!" She turned on the timer as fast as she opened her eyes. Rainbow Dash couldn't believe her eyes.

"All right, who's doing me job!?" Clapping her hooves together, she throws jabs and punches to the air as a sign of intimination. "Show yourself!"
