Business Trip

Onyx wanted to make Twilight feel as best as he could make her possibly feel because he was going away for at least a month, though nothing can beat their night at the palace. But he was determined to make it close. Before Twilight got to his house he was running around his place trying to get everything ready, some of his aged wine and a nice homemade dinner with only the best ingredients.

He was too busy to hear the front door opening and when she tapped him on the back he screamed and jumped a little and when he looked back he saw his fiancée standing there laughing.

“Well the main parts of the soup has carrots, apples, ginger, mint, milk and small amounts of spices just to give it a little more character. And the salad has lettuce, spinach with some thin apple slices, raisins, grilled daisy flakes and a vinaigrette made out of the same wine that we’ll be drinking, apple cider vinegar, minced apples and vegetable oil.” He said looking proud of his masterpiece.

“Let me guess Applejack gave you all of these apples.” She said smiling.

“Yeah I told her that I needed some apples for our dinner and she gave me more than enough.” He said remembering their conversation.

“That’s Applejack, and I’m pretty sure that if she was HERE then she would know that we thank her GENEROSITY and aren’t THEY supposed to be in the HOSPITAL comforting LUNA!” She said loudly.

As the train started to roll away he stuck his head out of the window and looked back at Twilight waving good bye until he could no longer see her on the horizon. He shut the window and let out a big sigh. About fifteen minutes in the trip he decided to look in the basket she packed him and saw the sandwiches that she packed him which put a smile on his face and a small body that looked familiar.

Twilight entered his house for the third time that week, which she planned to do for every week just to keep it clean and organized, but he being gone allowed her to be curious and search through the place. Nothing seemed that fascinating to her since she had all of the books that he had except one that seemed out of place, all alone to the side of the shelf and had a silver cover. She reached for it but ended up knocking the shelf off.

“And this is why I use magic instead of my hooves.” She said grabbing the silver book putting it on the couch then fixed the shelf, putting the books back on. Twilight took the book to his bedroom and made herself comfortable on the bed opening the book.
