Doctor Whooves - Pyramid of the Immortals - A first-hoof account as witnessed by Clear Waters and Lily ForFrost
My name is Clear Waters, and oh do I have a story to tell you. I must ask you to not think me a mad mare; I insist that I am not crazy! Although I wish that I was sometimes. It all started on a normal day at the excavation area. You see, I am ancient equestriologist, or as the Doctor kept calling me, an archeologist. That day, we struck gold…so to speak. We had found the entrance to Ramesses III’s tomb.
Legend said that he was defeated by his ancient foe, Anubis, and both kingdoms crumbled. They needed each other more then they knew. Ramesses’ kingdom needed diamonds to make axes for mining salt. Anubis needed salt to survive in the desert without water. They would trade with each other, but Anubis wanted more. To most, this story was nothing but an old mare’s tale, but I always knew otherwise. Whenever I got the chance, I would go to the Canterlot library and study up on it.
Little did I know how much trouble we were about to get into.
