Pilot: Lunar's POV
I was walking down a street at 12:03 AM,I don't know why,but I was, the desolate streets of....where was I again?
I had no clue, I had read all the books I could on towns in Equestria,but This town,It couldn't exist,It didn't exist.The how was I in it? Maybe I wasn't in Equestria...No,No towns anywhere in the world looked like this except Equestrian ones.
Where was I?
"Your worst Nightmare."
I turned around to see a sparkling aura take shape of a Pony.It developed a Horn,then it dissipated into Wings,then nothing. Then It started towards me. I tried to move back,but something was holding me back,I tried to use Magic,but it seemed like that...Thing WAS my Magic.
"This,This isn't happening,this is all just a dream,yeah that's it. Just a Dream."
However the mystery pony hit me with a Magic from some random place,and it knocked me back. I rubbed my back.
"That Hurt....Wait, If my back hurts,then...."
Then I knew:
This wasn't a dream...
Sharp painful sounds entered my ears as I cowered in surrender to the Light Pony.As I looked up I saw a little smile,or at least,what looked like a Smile. The Unicorn-Pegasus-Pony thing took its head and jabbed it right into my chest. Hiting me right into a rock. Then White light enveloped my eyes...
"Daddy! Wake up! Your Alarm Clock has been going off for 5 minutes and I don't know how to turn it off,and why are you on the ground?"
I looked up, I had a little filly on my chest and my Alarm Clock the get's louder as time goes on kept ringing as my head was up against the bed while I was on the ground. Wasn't my way of spending the morning of the 1st day in a new town.
I'm Lunar Eclipse,I look like your run-of-the-mil Unicorn, And I am, I just have....a Disease,if you want to call it that.
I'm sure you know that Unicorns have to use Magic to do somethings,and when they do they use up the Magic inside them.
If they keep using their Magic, eventually the get tired out,but after some rest and relaxation,they regenerate their Magic.
Now,if a Unicorn rests for a long time,it can get 100% of its Magic back, like an electronic get's charged with full battery.
However,While I get charged to 100%,I go to 101%,and 102%,and I keep on charging.Meaning that my Magic can get powerful enough to even exceed Luna's or even Celestia's Magic. So,all in all, I live in a Monarchy,where I can have enough power to overthrow that Monarchy and 3 others and still have enough magic to make a Cutie Mark appear for 5 minutes. So you can imagine when life get's touch I need someone to calm me down. Otherwise someones probably going to die because I threw a Little Temper Tantrum.
I have 2 Friends,Starlight and Amber. Awkwardly enough they both work in the Royal Guard, Starlight being in Luna's Guard and Amber being in Celestia's.I have a connection to the Royal Guard also,but that's for a later time. I met Starlight when I was little and we were bullied by the same person. And Amber was the Sister of my Girlfriend. So we got to know each other a bit.
Starlight is the workaholic,His entire day other than the 4 hours he get's of sleep are Lance Practice,Flying,and evacuation training.I'm surprised he can do all that with 4 hours of sleep at a cup of coffee under his belt, I know people who get 7 hours of sleep and 2 cups and can barely do that.
Amber is the crazy one,she's pretty much the definition of Anti-Social,as she probably even glances at maybe every 5 Ponies if even that, and personally, I think that's good. She once almost killed a guy for bumping into her. "She has a Big temper" is an understatement. "She has the temper of an Ursa Major,A Lion,And an Angry Gorilla all combined into one when it accidentally tripped." is a little under accurate. Though the last time someone said that around her they got sen to the hospital for 3 weeks. And has and has had to go to a Psychologist every 2 days. And this happened 2 years ago.
I live in Canterlot but I lost a Job there in a Donut Shop and I didn't have anywhere to go after that because no one was hiring. I later found out that a bakery in Ponyville was asking for an Inter for a bit, since they only had one and They we're going to Upper Equestria for 7 months. So I accepted that job and now I live in Ponyville. It's a Nice place.Great because there aren't Millionaires walking down my street gloating about how much money they have. Also about the Lack of money I have.
For a Hobby,I don't make dresses or read books or do Fancy spells or anything, because once you learn how to WRITE spells,doing spells isn't much fun as before. I write spells a lot, I even made the spell to change a bird into an orange,which I didn't write,I just failed a spell and wrote that down before anyone else could. The Chair Explosion one is mine and my favorite I might add.
I dated twice, the first didn't end well though. I tried to write a spell to make flowers pop up. It worked but when I did it to my date it instead gave her a really mean raccoon.So I hate when people say their first date went bad because they had an argument and wouldn't speak to each other when they left when my date left in an ambulance and closed down the Restaurant for 7 hours because Animal Control couldn't catch the danged raccoon.
The second one I actually got past the first date and many others, we had the filly jumping on my chest now and we really loved each other! Until she had to go work in Cloudsdale one day for some rainbow maintenance.There was an explosion that day that killed 27 Ponies,Including her....The Filly's name is Celestial Comet,she's cute and all,but a pain to deal with. Her Mane is a Cyan blue with a bit of Light Yellow Mixed in, she get's the Blue from her mother. She's a Pegasus too,and in fact the only thing she got from me were her eyes and the secondary Mane color. Everything else was from her mother. So in a way it's like I still have her...
My life is great, I'm starting my job tomorrow, I have a great filly,and I have a pretty big house.
Nothing could go wrong!
Prelude: The Attack on Canterlot
It was a bright sunny day in Canterlot, birds chirping, ponies talking, and the occasional two ponies walking into each other because: To look rich and sophisticated, you have to hold your head up and close your eyes while walking which is asking for trouble. The princesses, in their respective towers, were doing what they usually did. Luna would play some new game she recently acquired, and Celestia would have the most fun! Signing the 10 pound stack of paperwork, long story short, if you have to choose between controlling the Sun or Moon, go with the moon, as you can have fun all day with a few interruptions, make the moon appear and then sleep. That was what the day usually was.
But you know what they say: Explosions are fun! Until they ruin everything. That's EXACTLY what happened. A cute little Ray of yellow light exploded grow the Windows sending everything but the kitchen sink 3 feet, and that's when your brain tells you to panic, which is what proceeded as multiple explosions hitting every part of the castle from every angle.Panic rose immensely from the ponies presiding in the tower. However the civilians couldn't care less. They were too busy with running into each other.
Two particular ponies, who we will not name because they're only important at this very moment and thus would be a waste of time to say, bumped not into each other, but some metal pony. Not the Iron Pony, he's a nice guy,who explodes villains! Not princesses. This was just some pony in very fancy armor and a white horn with lasers shooting out of said horn. Normal everyday stuff,oh wait, No it isn't. That's when everyone started to panic. Guard after guard rushing to battle with javelins drawn, they charged against the Metal Laser Pony. All seemed would be okay, until the giant explosion knocking every guard out of Canterlot that was 7x the power of the previous explosions happened, as you can guess that didn't help the panic problem.
Or did it? As soon as that happened a light shown and next thing anypony knew, the pony was gone. The damage still remained however, and using the crazy telepathic powers alicorns have, Luna and Celestia agreed on one thing:
They didn't have a good feeling about this.
Another changeling threat had surfaced and then they had a pony with insane magic annihilating everything. Which sounds fine, if you didn't rule one of the biggest country's in the world. And trust me, that isn't what you call fun, it's called stressful,and I have PLENTY experience on that subject. The point of the matter is that life in Equestria isn't as perfect as it would seem. Not one bit.
