Fear of the moon

“Give us back our friend!” Rainbow dash demanded.

“Make me.” Agony replied.

“Now listen here you varmit, either you give us back Twilight or ells!”

“Either you bleh bleh bleh or blah!” She taunted with a childish tone. “Like I have to listen to any of you! If you haven’t noticed, you don’t stand a chance against me!”

“They might not, but we do!” Celestia interrupted as she and Luna stood up.

“…Hah! Funny, for a second there I thought you were serious! Listen to me, none of stand a chance against me, I’m the most powerful unicorn in the world! I’ve mastered spells that not even you two could learn!”

“As if!” Rainbow dash interrupted.

“Don’t believe me? Fine then, I’ll show you.” She lifted her horn and it started glowing with an intense black light, as it glowed all the black ooze encasing the room moved towards her and into her horn. She lowered her head and pointed her horn towards the two princess and in an instant a colossal beam of black energy shot towards them. They dodge it and it crashed into the wall leaving a gaping hole.

“See that?” Every pony stood where they were and stared at the hole that used to be a wall. “That’s what happens if you doubt me.” She used her first spell and coated the room with the ooze again and absorbed it again. “Now, watch what it does to a pony.” She lowered her horn and pointed it towards Flutter shy. “And since you look like the weakest, might as well start with you.” She shot the beam again. Right before it hit her, Rainbow dash pushed her out of the way and sacrificed herself. She let lose a horrific shrieking noise, and as the black fog cleared, it revealed her as a skeleton.

“Rainbow!” The other four screamed.

“That’s it! I will not let you continue this rein of evil!”

“Bring it on Sunshine.” Agony laughed. Celestia growled at her, she than used her own magic to attack. She shot a beam of light filled magic. Agony steped to the side and it hit the ground.

“…That it?” Agony chuckled. Celestia attacked again, this time Agony opened her wings and created ac black bubble around herself, and as the magic hit it, it turned black and was redirected at Celestia. She got hit and fell to the ground.

“I expected better from you princess, I thought you were the greatest pony that ever existed.”

“…Silence.” She mumbled.

“Sorry what? Could you say that again?”

“Silence.”

“Oh, I thought you might have said something imprt-“

“Silence!” She started getting back up. “You do not talk to me that way, I am the princess of this land!”

“You’re a foolish mare that’s what you are! You think you’re the best, you think your better than every pony, you’re not! Your nothing!” Agony stepped down from the altar. “For the last thousand years I have been able to watch you, I’ve been able to watch what you do, and after what  saw, you don’t deserve to rule this land! You banished your own sister to the moon, encased a living creature in stone, banished a misunderstood queen in to a darker land, and turned a pony into shadows and banished him beneath the ice of the arctic! You are the cruelest mare in this world!” Celestia was stunned. “You don’t deserve to rule, after everything you did.” Celestia grew angry, and out of nowhere she used her own spell against her, but instead she coated the room in a white colored oozed and shot out a white beam of magic. Agony stood there and did nothing, and when she was hit the magic curved around her. When the dust cleared, it revealed her to be still standing, unhurt.

“…How?”

“You can’t kill shadows with light, you can’t kill night with day, and you can’t kill me by yourself.” She grinned sinisterly. She walked back to the alter and stood there with the grin still on her face.

“You know what, since I’m “Nice” I’ll give you a chance.” She looked over towards the skeletal remains of Rainbow dash and out of nowhere a pillar of black smoke rose out of the ground and incased her, when it vanished she was turned back to normal. “You can have your friend back, but you’re not allowed to leave, until you beat me. Sound fare.” Agony chuckled. While every pony was distracted by her Discord got up and shook his head attempting to get his focus back.

“What happened? How long have I been out?”

“oh I forgot about you.”

“…Right we were fighting you weren’t we. Alright you prepare for a real fight!”

“What are you talking about?” Agony asked with un-amusement.

“I’m talking about a real fight, against a being of pure chaos.” He snapped his claws, and instantly Agony was tied down by black vines.

“What is this!?”

“It’s a special little plant that has been growing for years now, to be honest I was wondering when I’d ever use it again.”

“What does this have to do with chaos?”

“Just wait the chaos will be here any minute.” He snapped his claws again and this time took away her horn and wings.

“Better?” Discord asked, attempting not to laugh.

“Ok now you’re just annoying me.” Agony stomped on the ground and the vines suddenly died and her horn and wings re-grew.

“Clever…”

“I’ve been practicing, now, are you done annoying me?”

“Almost, I got one more trick up my sleeve,” he said as he pulled a card out of his wrist. He snapped his claw one last time and disappeared leaving the card with Be Right Back written on it.

“…I really hate that guy.” Agony mumbled.
