After completing his mission objective of ensuring the Elements of Harmony's safety, Severin is killed and finds himself in the presence of the Gatekeepers, the guardians of the afterlife. They will judge him and ultimately decide where his soul will reside for the rest of eternity based on his choices in his life. As a direct descendant of the dreaded King Sombra, the odds are already stacked against him, and Tartarus is all too eagar to claim his soul.
