I'm Twilight Sparkle. I was born as an alicorn, and raised by a human, a species of which there are not even ten specimen known to Equestria. My real parents died before I was able to remember them. My adoptive father loved me, but also always carried a deep sorrow with him. All this managed to make me somewhat suspicious that there was something being hidden from me, but I never thought about it very much. Until I found a photo album with a letter, telling me of a life I can't remember.

An idea inspired by a game over scene of The Mansion by NavitasErusSirus. Try it out, it's a fun game if you're playing honest ;-)

So, first attempt at a story, originally consisting only of a single letter. However, after writing it I quickly realized that I can't let it stand on its own like this, so there'll be more. It might happen that there'll actually be a chapter before the current first one (I probably was a little too quick with publishing, should have thought about it more^^), but at least it should give you a good idea on what to expect from this story. Especially now, I require feedback, so what do you think? Any good? Or should I throw the laptop out of the window so that I can never write anything again?
