Hearth's Warming Eve is today in Ponyville and everypony is ready for the holidays occuring tomorrow. Scootaloo however, had recently lost her wing, and can't get the one thing she wishes for the holiday, A replacement wing. She feels hopeless and depressed over it, thinking that this new change is gonna change her whole life, until one colt decides to tell her that she doesn't need two wings for everything in her life, and something else that he has been hiding from her.
