Chapter 6: The Past Of Nightmare

The door was a rectangle shape and the size was 20 feet tall by 9 feet wide. The door looked like it was made out of some sort of black crystals. There where no door knobs on the door or anything that looked like would open it. The only thing that the door really had was a symbol at the top of the door. General Grievous walked over to the black crystal door. Discord and Nightmare Moon where too busy arguing to notice the cyborg walking past them.

When Grievous came to the door, he put his metallic right hand on the smooth black door. Then suddenly he felt and saw some sort of black magic going through his hand and up his arm. He then realized that he couldn't move any part of his body. Soon the cyborg's body was consumed in the different shades of dark gray and black colored magic. When Grievous was fully covered in the black magic, he then felt pain everywhere in his body. The tremendous amount of pain was so strong that he could barely bar breath. So, he blacked out.

Grievous felt like he just woke up from a dream. He got up from the ground and realized that he was no longer in the cave with Nightmare Moon and Discord. Instead he was in a room with all types of decorations of gold and red joules. There was a golden chandelier with red and black crystal hanging off it. There also was black and red tapestry hanging on the walls with that same symbol. There was stone stachus of pony knights with swords and spears in their hooves.

There was a long dark wood table with black and red silk like cloth. On the end of the long table was a gray stallion with a read horn and a black main and tail. His eyes where red and had waves of purple coming out of his eyes. The gray stallion also had a deep red cape and a crown on his head. He had a golden chalice with black and red joules embedded in it.

"Who has come to see me." said the gray stallion in a mid-evil ton, also taking a sip of some sort of red wine out of his golden chalice. Grievous took a deep breath and said.

"I am General Grievous, commander of the droid army and leader of the Sepratists. *Coughing* And you are King Sombra I  presume?"

"Yes, I am King Sombra, the MASTER of those crystal ponies slaves and LORD of the Crystal Empire." said Sombra with anger in his tone and drinking some more of the red wine. Grievous then asked him.

"Then why are you down here then? *Cough* The ones I saw ruling the Empire where two ponies that ran for their live when they faced me. *Coughing*" King Sombra looked at him with an unbelieving face.

"You lie." said the King with sadness on his face, drinking the last of the red wine.

"I don't lie. I came with Discord and Nightmare Moon to get some crystal red." said Grievous.

"Did you say Nightmare came with you?" asked King Sombra with a little bit of surprisement in his eyes.

"Yes she did. *Cough*" said Grievous, looking in Sombra's eyes.

"Shes alive." murdered the King. He got out of his chair and walked over to the tall cyborg.

"Stay sill." said Sombra, lighting up the room in greed and purple. Grievous blinked and saw that they where no longer in the room, instead they where standing by the big door and where looking at Discord and Nightmare Moon

"Nightmare." said Sombra in a genital tone and was walking towards Nightmare Moon. Nightmare Moon took a few steps back and said.

"NO Sombra. I still don't forgive you." Nightmare Moon now turned around and totted away from them, with tears in her eyes.

"No Nightmare! Waite!" said Sombra, galloping after her. When the two ponies where out of sight, Discord grumbled.

"This is awkward."

"Whats the problem with those two? *Cough*" asked Grievous. Discord gave a low sigh and said.

"Well...When Sombra became king and ruled the Crystal Empire with an iron hoof, he began to feel lonely and sad. He wanted something or somepony to confute him. He decided to used his Dark Magic and created a pony. He named the pony Nightmare and she was like a dater to him, but Sombra wasn't always nice. He was very cruel to her and treated her like one of his slave. Over time hate and anger grew in her and when Sombra was about to get married, she attacked Sombra and ruined the wedding. She then ran away from the Crystal Empire...Forever." Discord posed for a moment and then said.

"Then the king of the changelings declared war upon the Crystal Empire. The two King fought over King Sombra bride and bough lost. The king of the changelings may have died with his army, but King Sombra lost his entire army in the battle and with no army he was then defeated by Princes Celestia, Princes Luna." Discord took another pose and then said.

"While Nightmare was on the run, she then met Princes Luna. They soon became friends and Nightmare realized that Luna had a ruler or sister that was not far to her. Nightmare felt sad for Luna and knew that she did not deserve the same fate that she had with Sombra. So Princes Luna and Nightmare combined there soul and powers together and they became Nightmare moon. But there power was no mach to stop Celestia and Nightmare moon was banished to the moon for one thousand years." Discord then finished.

"That's...*Cough* interesting." said Grievous with uncertainty. Discord then gave another low sigh and said.

"And only a few know the truth." then Nightmare moon and King Sombra came back.

"Did you two settle things yet?" asked Discord, sounding a little bit annoyed and tired. Nightmare looked over to Sombra and gave a little smile and said.

"I think we have come to terms. For now"

"Agreed." said Sombra, looking into her eyes with a smile.

"We should get those crystals now." said Discord still sounding annoyed.

"Ah yes, you came for my dark red crystals, have you not?" said Sombra, now looking at Discord.

"Yes we have." replied Discord. Sombra then lit up his horn. Then a big brown bag appeared right nest to Sombra.

"Here are the last of my dark red crystals. But before I just give them to you blindly, I want to know why you would need such a rare item." said Sombra, now having his magic around the bag.

"I want to kill the Princesses of Equestria." said Discord with an evil smile.
