The Salamander of Equestria

The group had gotten on the train and were now handing toward Canterlot. Zin was watching out the window taking in the sight's as they were going and he couldn't believe at how fast this thing could go for it's size. He eventually got bored of looking outside and looked to see what the other's were doing.Twilight was reading a book, Fluttershy was just being shy, Rarity was doing her hair and Applejack and Rainbow were both asleep. Zin couldn't help but chuckle at the way they were laying. Rainbow had her arm around Applejack's neck and Applejack arms were around her waist and they were both snuggling each other really tight.

*chuckles* "Don't they look cute together." Zin thought.

"Ohh there Canterlot is" Twilight said while putting her book away. Zin looked over and saw a castle that looked like it had been carved into the side of the mountain. Zin saw ivory towers with golden spires, and many waterfalls and rivers running through it a least that's what it looked like to him from this distance. Zin looked over to see what looked like a gate with guard standing outside it and on it's wall watching the train as it passed through.

"This place is beautiful."

The train had arrived at the train station in Canterlot and the conductor blew it's whistle. The occupant's began to exit off the train as Zin stood up and popped his neck. Applejack and rainbow had awoken when they heard the whistle though both were blushing up a storm and wouldn't make eye contact while blushing causing Zin to chuckle. The two turned and glared at him.

The group exited off the train heading to the castle only to have everyone in the street to look at them. Well at Zin. The crowd had began to whisper among themselves.

"What is that thing?"

"Why doesn't it have fur?"

"Why is it hiding it's face?"

"What does it want?"

Twilight and them were looking at Zin to see his reaction to all the whisper's but only saw his face expression neutral. The group continued it's way to the castle. The group remained quiet well except Pinkie who blabbering stuff that didn't make any sense.

The group arrived at the castle door's to the castle.

Zin looked up to see how tall it was. "It's almost as big as the tower's in Amegakure." Zin then looked back down and noticed the guard's at it's entrance.

The guard's were each a different pony but pretty much were wearing the same type of armor. The armor was like roman lorica segmentata. The color of the steel was gold with the emblem of the sun on the chest. The helmet's were greek Corinthian helmets, Roman Legionary helmets, and medieval barbut Helmets, with all the helmet crests being the same color as their hair. They all had sword's in their sheathes at their hips as well as holding spears in their right hand. Though some just had swords and some with just spears.

"Hmm they looked well trained but were they all trained in the same fighting style though?"

Zin then noticed a Pegasus guard approaching them.

The guard walked up and spoke with a smile. "Hey Twilght!"

twilight just looked at the guard closely and became shocked "Flash Sentry?!"

The guard removed his helmet to show he had a sapphire blue hair. Zin also noticed he had Brilliant gamboge fur and vivid cornflower blue eyes and like the other guards he had a spear and sword

"The one and only." Flash replied. Twilight ran over to him and had began to talk to him. Zin noticed as the two caught up with each other he noticed that they both seemed to enjoy it a lot causing Zin to smile as he figured it out.

"So they both like each other but won't admit it. Heh."

"Flash I want you to meet a friend that we made" Twilight said as she pulled him over to Zin. When Flash saw Zin his eyes went wide.

"Whoa! So Princess Celestia was telling the truth. I thought she was just pulling my leg." Flash said as he walked toward Zin.

"I'm Flash Sentry first lieutenant of the royal guard." and raised his hand for a handshake with a smile.

Zin looked at him then eye smiled and shook his hand. "I am Zin."

The two let go of each other hand's. "I heard that you saved The Cutie Mark Crusader's from timberwolves by yourself. That is cool man. We should spar sometime." Flash said this all with a smile on his face.

"I would like that but we need to get this Princess Celestia."

"O yea that's why I came here. Celestia wanted me to bring you all to her as soon as you got here."

"Please show us the way Lieutenant." Zin said with a eye smile while Flash just deadpanned "Very funny." Zin just chuckled.

"Anyway let's go. Their majesty's are waiting for you."

The group had went past the guards at the entrance who all gave Zin a look or more specifically his weapon. Zin couldn't help but look around the place noticing some expensive stuff around the hall way and walls but then again it's a castle.

Zin looked in front and two large doors with two guard in front.

"Ok this is where we depart. The princess has ordered to be able to keep your weapon as a sign of trust but remember that you are still under watch. Now I have to return to my post." Flash looked at Zin "Remember you still owe me that spar."

Zin just chuckled and stuck his hand up for a handshake which Flash returned. "I'll rember that....Lieutenant."

Flash looked at him then smirked "Sure...snorkel face." The two looked at each then both started to laugh.

"Anyway I need to get back to my post. It was nice to see you all again." As Flash said this he looked at Twilight and blushed. Then turned and walked off. The girl's yelled their goodbye's.

The group turned and looked at the door. "Well might as well get this over with." Zin spoke as he walked forward and pushed the door open.

The room could be described as beautiful. It was a corridor that had stained glass windows which lead all the way down to the throne where two figures could be seen. As they got closer Zin the first figure was a woman......pony. She had a white fur with a very slight pink tinge, purple eyes and a flowing violet, azure, green and cyan mane. She was also had a gold crown on her head. She was wearing a dress that showed one leg but covered the other one. On the dress was a sun emblem.

The other one was female as well. She had a blue-violet fur, aquamarine eyes, and baby blue mane. She was also wearing a dress but it had a half-crescent moon.

As the group got close Zin saw the two saw them and rose out of their seats with smiles on their face's.

"Princess!" Twilight ran over to Celestia and hugged her who returned it. The two broke apart.

"Twilight it's good to see you again."

"That must be Celestia Twilight mentor." Zin thought as he looked at the two and turned his head to the other one "So the other must be,Luna."

The other girls had all walked over to the the three while Zin just stayed back watching.

Twilight then reached over and gave Luna a hug. "Tis..I mean good to see you,Twilight."

"It's good to see you getting better with those speech lesson's Princess."

"Twilight we..I told you to stop calling us that and call me by my name." "Ok Princ....Luna."

"Hmm they must be really close if they are able to say these things to one another."

"So this must be the one named Zin." Celestia spoke with a warm smile as she walked forward and looked at Zin who just looked at her.

"Her eyes show kindness but at the same time they show wisdom." Zin thought.

The two looked at each other till Zin spoke and bowed "It's a honor to meet the one the girl's spoke highly of."

"There's no need to bow to me." Zin rose up

"So what do you plan to do with me?"

"What do you mean?"

"I know when Twilight sent the letter I knew she told you about me and what I did in my world."

".....I was going to ask you about your life then make my judgment to see if you were a danger to my subjects." The girl's gasped

"But Princess he rescued"  "Twilight Zin interrupted causing her to look at him to see him eye smiling.

"It's ok. Ask any question and I will answer it." said Zin as he looked at the Princess who walked forward along with her sister.

"We will teleport you some where along with us to ask you question's. The place will tell us if you lying."

Zin nodded his head and Celestia horn glowed and there was a flash and the three were gone leaving only the element's bearer's who looked at each other with worried looks and even Pinkie was worried which you could tell with her hair deflated.

Zin blinked his eye's as they adjusted from the white flash from Celestia teleportation magic.

"What in the world?" Thought Zin as he just saw what appeared to be space with stars all around.

"This the Gutlok Do Vahzen, the space of truth. It allow's the user to ask the one it casted on to get the answer's they want. The room will remain the same if it's the truth, lying causes the sun to get brighter and shrink's back down." Celestia voice spoke out.

"Hmm I see it also hides the caster to hide from the one being question. Very nice."

"Indeed. It also allow us and you to see a memory of yours should we wish it."

"......I see....well then begin your question's."

"From the report of my student it said you were able to fight back the Timberwolves easily which must mean you must of trained to be a warrior. So are you dangerous to my subjects?"

"Yes I may be a warrior but I never would harm anyone and I would only fight back if there was no choice."

"But you have killed though haven't you?" Luna voice questioned.

"......I have but I regret it even to this day."

"You were trained to be a warrior yet you regret your action's?"

"Only a monster kill's with no regret, Celestia."

"Would any of you kind wish to do harm to my subject's?"

".....There's people who would but at the same time wouldn't."

"What about you?"

" No I don't in fact there's no way for my kind to come here."  "Why?"

"Cause I was killed and ended up here." answered Zin causing them to gasp. "I don't how I ended up here so please don't ask because I won't be able to tell you."

"Is your kind able to perform magic like us?"

"Hmm should I tell them? They have been kind to me....I guess I'll repay their kindness."

"No... though we do have the ability to use chakra."

"Chakra?" -Zin put his hand's together and a blue aura appeared around him.-

"It is the molding of the physical present in every cell of the body and the spiritual energy. It is gained from exercise and experience." Spoke Zin as he put his hand's down causing his chakra to disappear.

"When it's molded we can pass it through what my kind calls the circulatory system. Their only are element affinities that we can combine to make our chakra though I know their is only five element's that I know which are fire, water, earth, wind, and lighting.*pause* We can also use it to to walk on water and wall's. We also use it to use medicine jutsu to help our wound's though we can still die depending on how bad the injury is."

"It sound's like magic though we can't walk on water or walls, we can walk on cloud's. Well alicorn's and pegasus's and griffons. The other races can as well though have to use magic or drink a potion." Luna voice spoke. *pause* "Why do you weir that mask?"

"It serves a purpose that I don't won't to discuss please. Though it does allow me to breathe underwater by cycling oxygen through it."

Celestia and Luna nodded their head's even though no one could see it.

"Is your name really Zin?"

"It is though my full name is Zin, The Black Salamander and before you ask it is a creature native to my home Amegakure. It is famnous for it's deadly poison it used. The manticore is the most poisonous creature you have that kills you in a day. The black salamander poison would kill you in twenty minutes and even with the antidote you have a low chance of surviving."

"That sound's dangerous though why do they call you that?"

*Shrugs shoulder's* "In my world when you become feared you earn nickname's."

"We have one final question. What if we decide you too dangerous and decide to turn you into stone or put you in a dungeon?"

".......I would let you."answered Zin causing the two to become shocked.

"You would let us without a fight?" questioned Luna.

*There was a flash of light and Celestia along with her sister appeared*

There was a moment of silence as Celestia looked at Zin closely until she spoke.

"I made a judgment."

The Element's of harmony were still in the throne room waiting to see when Zin would appear again. They heard a flash and turned to see Celestia and Luna with a neutral expression's but no Zin.

Twilight along with the girl's ran over to them.

"Princess where is Zin?"

*Twilight felt something hit her head and looked down and saw a stick. She looked to her friend's who were confused as well. They looked up to see Zin on the ceiling hanging upside waving his hand at her with a eye smile.

"What's up or should I say down." Zin spoke and dropped down to land on his feet. The girl's had shocked expression's on their face's except Pinkie who had a smile.

"What I got something on my face?"

The Princess's started to laugh which shook the girl's out of their expression's.

"Princess does this mean..."

"Yes my faithful student. Zin is now a citzen of Equestria."

*Pinkie let out a squeal and ran to Zin and hugged him while the other's joined in it*

"welcome to your new home Zin." spoke Celestia in a motherly voice.

Zin let a smile reach behind his mask as he returned the hug.

"You know what this call's for? A PARTY!" shouted Pinkie as they separated from the hug causing everyone to smile.
