Strange Paths:Three Stories,Six Hearts

Rainbow Dash left Fluttershy’s cottage in tears but she told herself, ”It’s just rain.”
But she knew they were tears, and she thought it would have been Flutters crying, not her. Rainbow Dash felt worse lying to herself. Thunder struck within her, emotions stirred. She looked below and saw Apple property. “Maybe Applejack will cheer me up!”, she thought. She smiled, feeling a little better and sonic rainboomed towards Applejack’s farm.

Applejack was busy applebucking in the moonlight. Applejack was tired, but she told herself, “Ya nearly thar’ Applejack.”

She froze with her weary eyes halfway shut, until a voice hollered, “Watch out AppleJack!” “Rainbow Dash?”
“Sugarcube where are ya?”,asked Applejack looking through all possible directions she could be.

“APPLEJACK! LOOK OUT!”, she scram again. Right before Applejack’s very own eyes, a Sonic Rainboom exploded in front of her, and Rainbow Dash was in the middle of it.

“Oh Rainbow! Can ya be more careful next time?” Her mane had been blown out of it’s neat ponytail and was now all over the place, bearing a messy resemblance to Rainbow’s mane. The two stood up from the floor and dusted themselves off.

“Sorry Applejack.Can we talk inside?”, Rainbow asked sheepishly.
“Sure thing sugarcube. Want some cider and apples?”, Applejack said happily.

“Sure!”, Rainbow said. “Race you there!”

Rainbow Dash looked around the Apple kitchen, and awaited Applejack to follow. Applejack came in and looked through the kitchen’s drawers. “Hey sugarcube! Here’s an apple for to go, and wait upstairs in mah’ room okay?” Rainbow nodded and took gentle steps upstairs. By the time Rainbow was gone, Applejack had found some mugs of cider and went up to join her. Applejack found her sitting on her bed waiting patiently. “So, what’s the problem sugarcube?”, Applejack asked concerned as she sat by her.

“Well, I was ‘dating’ Fluttershy and-”
“Sugarcube! How come you didn’t tell me?”

“Can I please finish?”, Rainbow asked impatiently. Applejack blushed and put a hoof behind her head.
“Sorry.Go on sugarcube.”

“-and I didn’t think it would work out so I ‘broke’ up with her but right before I could tell her-” Applejack nodded her head, patiently waiting for Dash to continue. “-Pinkie swooped in and got mad then when she finished yelling at me, I flew off-”

Applejack scooted closer to Rainbow Dash, nudged her and said, “It’s okay as long as i have you.” Rainbow Dash blushed and looked at Applejack’s guilty expression. “Ah’ can’t take this no more!”, Applejack scram. she picked up Rainbow and closeed her eyes and pressed her lips to Rainbow’s.

Rainbow Dash was surprised, but she went with it. “Fluttershy wasn’t my type, but Applejack! She must be the one for me!” Then, the door opened…
