Chapter 4: An Amazing Gift

"I love you Mommy and Daddy." Star said picking up the photo and kissing it. Star was going to spend time with her best pony friend forever Crafty today. "Hi Crafty. How are you doing?" Star said seeing her friend.

"Hi Star. I'm doing good. You?" Crafty said.

"I'm good. So what are we going to do today to try and get our cutie marks today?" Star asked. Crafty shrugged. "Ooooh! I have an idea! How about we try to get our cutie marks in flying!" Star said excitedly.

"Umm... Star are you forgetting something?" Crafty asked tapping his horn and back.

"Nope 'cause this..." Star said tapping Crafty's horn. "will do the work of these." She added flapping her wings. They tried and tried but it didn't work. Then the sun started to set and the moon started to rise. Soon Luna was landing near the two friends.

"Hello Luna." Both foals said.

"Hello my children of the night. I have a gift for you my little Star." Luna said. The two curious friends followed Luna. Luna made a book appear and took a look in it then made it disappear. Then in a burst of light Star was gone. Luna could have still been there. Crafty saw a burnt spot on the ground and it looked like a star. He had a thought about it but he pushed it to the back of his mind so he could morn his friend who he thought was dead.

"Luna! Where are we?" Little Star Shine asked.

"Well my little Star this place doesn't really have a name. But this is where your gift is." Luna said. Then her horn started to glow a beautiful blue and a bit of Star's coat came off and split into a ton of little pieces and they started to spin around Star. Then a large light that was a very light blue and looked like a star was in the air. Then it started to come down to earth. Crafty saw this and galloped towards it.

"S-S-Star!? Is that you!?!?" Crafty asked confused and glad that his friend wasn't dead. "*Gasp* S-S-Star! L-l-look! You have a horn! *Gasp* Your an ALICORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Crafty said pointing out Star's new horn. "You look just like the illustration of Luna when she was a filly! You look just like a princess!" He added.

"That's because she is. But she is an unofficial princess because my sister forbade me to make this town but it's been so very long since then maybe she will be fine with it and you may be able to become an official princess." Luna said.

"Whoa! I'm B.P.F.F.s with a princess. Mind blowing!" Crafty said. Star laughed at her friend's shock.
