Rainbow Butterflies

WHOOSH!!

"Yay...!" Fluttershy yelled out to Rainbow Dash. The ball soared through the air, and fell into the hoop. It fell onto the court, and Rainbow stole the ball and dribbled it by her foot. The crowd screamed in excitement, and chanted "Rainbow Dash!"

Fluttershy ran over to Rainbow and hugged her. The cyan girl's face turned a bright red, as she hugged back.

Rainbow heard sudden laughter. She turned to see Hoops and his friends.

"Hey! Look! It's the LESBIANS!!" The three boys continued to laugh at the two girls. The light yellow girl cried softly in Rainbow's sleeve.

"Come on, Fluttershy." Rainbow took her into the locker room.

"Let it all out, Fluttershy. Cry all you need. Remember, if they say it, it doesn't mean anything." Rainbow comforted Fluttershy.

"But Rainbow.... I'm crying because.... I AM LESBIAN!!!" She continued crying.

"Fluttershy-" Rainbow's jaw dropped, her eyes wide. Rainbow knew she had to confess to her timid friend. "Fluttershy... I'm lesbian too..."

Fluttershy looked up at Rainbow Dash. She stared into her eyes, and her cheeks turned a bright red.

"I love you, Rainbow Dash."

"I know... and I love you too."

Rainbow hugged Fluttershy once again, brushing her pink hair through her fingers. Fluttershy held Rainbow tighter. Rainbow could barely breath, but that was ok for her.

"When those three dweebs... hgn!!" Fluttershy loosened her grip. "Sorry, Rainbow."

Rainbow breathed heavily for a split second. "As I was saying, when those three dweebs cone at us, just say, 'Who cares?' and walk away."

"Dashie," she sniffled. "...Thank you..."

"Rainbow, shouldn't you get back inside...?"

Rainbow stood there. She shook her head. Fluttershy decided to walk outside in the rain with Rainbow. "She's going to get sick..." She said to herself. The yellow girl wrapped her arm around her athletic friend. She hugged her lightly.

"You should really get inside. It's raining and you could get sick and-"

Rainbow put her finger on Fluttershy's lip. She then placed her lips on Fluttershy's and kissed her. She held the kiss for 10 seconds. She broke the kiss and smiled. "Let's go inside, Fluttershy. I'm getting cold."

As they walked back into the locker room, Fluttershy gave Rainbow a piece of paper.

"Dear Rainbow Dash,

Your team will be going to the HSBC (High School Basketball Championship) on August 17th.

Principle Celestia."

Rainbow's jaw dropped. She couldn't speak.

"Rainbow Dash, that's wonderful!! You know that means your one of the greatest teams in the entire state!!!"

Rainbow regained her ability to speak again. "Yeah, it's great!"

Dash thought to herself, what if she didn't do good? What if she's not as good as she is at soccer? What if she missed a hoop and let her entire team down?
