Chapters My Little Pony: Friendship is Destiny
Episode 1: A Missing Destiny?
SilverStar Flame was in the library reading. She did not usually read on a regular basis, but she did read. Though, her reading was not for the fun of it at the moment. She was reading up on some information about the Alicorns. She had almost completed her training (or, so she thought). So, she decided to read to gather some more information. Hoping that there will be something new she could learn and store within her mind for any future need of it.
While looking through the table of contents for the book she decided to read, one chapter caught her eye.
"Chapter VII: A Missing Destiny ," SilverStar Flame read the chapter name aloud. She gave a perplexed look, before turning to the chapter. She, then, began to read the chapter aloud.
"When somepony discovers their destiny of being an Alicorn Princess, their previous destiny changes. This is due to them letting go of their other path of destiny chosen for them if they were to not become an Alicorn. If somepony accepts their destiny of being an Alicorn, and learn the necessary materials, their previous Cutie Mark will vanish. This will allow for them to obtain their Alicorn Cutie Mark- the mark that shows what their destiny as an Alicorn is. Though, their Alicorn destiny will be related to their 'ordinary' destiny. Their Alicorn destiny will take their 'ordinary' destiny to a new level, so they will be sure to rule over it as an Alicorn Princess. So, one should not be alarmed if they are an Alicorn who wakes to find a blank flank. This can be fixed by them discovering the final part in their journey of destiny- what their true destiny is, as an Alicorn ." SilverStar Flame reread the paragraph, over and over again, until she better understood it.
So, does this mean, that I too, will wake with a blank flank one day? she asked herself, mentally. She gave out a curious hmm before closing the book with her magic, and taking it over to the Unicorn librarian to check it out.
"I would like to check this book out please," she stated as she placed the book on the desk.
The light purple librarian with white hair tied into a bun, and cat glasses, read the cover of the book.
"The Destiny of an Alicorn , wise choice my dear," she stated inspecting the Alicorn that stood before her with a smile. The librarian proceeded to pick up the book with her magic, open it, and stamp it, before handing it over to SilverStar Flame, who had prepared her horn to use the magic to take the book, and place it within her bag.
"Thank you!" SilverStar Flame replied before galloping out of the library and back to her small home.
On her way home, SilverStar Flame glanced about at the Unicorns that roamed the streets. Canterlot was a beautiful place. Though, at times, it did feel a bit crowded- being a city and all. Either way, SilverStar Flame had grown use to it. With a smile, she approached her house, opened the door, and stepped inside.
"I AM HOME!" she called, so her dragon companion could hear.
Like a few other selected students, when she was attending Celestia's School of Magic, to get accepted, she had to hatch a dragon egg. Funny though, she was a previously a Pegasus, yet, using the stars, she was able to summon magic. Her parents use to tell her when she was a filly that magic and destiny lied within the stars. That was how she got her Cutie Mark. She was a curious filly, so one night, when the moon was full and the stars were bright, she flew farther up into the sky, and, using sheer willpower, tried controlling the stars. She somehow managed to summon magic from them. Which she used to create a shooting star. Though, to this day, it still intrigues her, and many others, that she managed to control the stars.
SilverStar Flame sighed at the memory as her dragon companion walked out appearing sleepy.
He was a fiery red with light brown-almost tan- hair. Yes, hair. He had no spikes, he had only hair. Hair that ran from the top of his head, to the tip of his tail. He was had kind, brown eyes, that were full of youthful light. To his credit with a lack of spikes, he did have a small nub-of-a-horn on his nose, and two nubby-horns at the top of his head. Each being next to a pointed ear.
He gave a yawn as he stretched. Being sleepy, he could not quite process that his friend's return had awoken him from his slumber.
He soon came to his senses, and saw his friend- who was more of a mother to him- smiles brightly at him.
"STAR! You are home!" he called as he ran over to her and hugged her leg. Star was the nick-name he had given her, for he thought her name too long and complex. He was a baby after all.
SilverStar Flame chuckled kindly, as she removed her front right leg from his grip, to wrap it around him. Her being a pony could not truly hug him, so, her gesture makes up for the lack of hugs she could give.
"Hey, Rhino," she said before removing her leg from around him and walking over to a desk that was located downstairs, so she could continue reading that chapter on the missing destiny idea.
Rhino ran over to her and glanced over he shoulder as she pulled out the book.
"Whatcha go there, Star?" he asked excitedly. He did enjoy books. So, it was not odd for him to become excited when he sees a new one.
"It is a book about an Alicorn's destiny. I figured it would help me better understand mine as an Alicorn."
Rhino glanced over the book a bit. "It seems interesting...," he mumbled.
SilverStar Flame smiled. "It is, so far..."

Episode 2: A Missing Destiny?- Part 2
After a few hours of reading, SilverStar Flame decided to go to bed. It was getting late after all. She at least got to finish the chapter, and read two others before bed. Which is good enough for her, at least, for now.
Sleeping on her bed with Rhino resting in his own beside her's, SilverStar Flame had an odd dream.
Gazing at the stars from her home she once lived in as a filly, SilverStar Flame smiled as the memories of the day she earned her Cutie Mark returned to her. Though, something odd happened. The stars became into shooting stars that shot toward each other.
"Huh? But, that cannot be...," SilverStar Flame wondered aloud.
The stars clashed and swirled together, to form what looked to be a ten-pointed, silver star, with blue spirals reaching and stretching out of it. Though, before it could finish fully forming, SilverStar Flame felt the wind pick up. She gave out a cry as she felt herself being sucked into the odd formation. She was spinning as if in a vortex of blue and silver. Still crying out from panic of not knowing what was going on, she saw the memories of her life flashing before her. As she went deeper into the vortex, the memories began to blur together. She gasped, having felt and odd feeling coursing through her from her flank. She glanced at with wide eyes, as she saw her Cutie Mark- a silver, shooting star, with a blue tail, surrounded by smaller, silver stars- shimmer and vanish. She gave another gasp from the shock of seeing her destiny vanish to leave behind a blank flank. She gave out a scream as she felt the vortex closing in. Pain shot through her as a result.
She was falling... Falling... She could not fly.... The feeling of falling helplessly sent an ache through her body. Causing her to awaken from this nightmare...
With a gasp, SilverStar Flame stood on all fours on her bed made of hay. Her blanket fell from around her as she glanced around. The feeling of relief shot through her when she realized she was in her own home in Canterlot. Panting slightly, she sat down. She dropped her ears and inhaled calming breaths, before exhaling calmed sighs. Her heart began to slow to normal pace as she glanced out the window.
It was already morning, she noticed. She turned to look at Rhino's bed to see that the baby dragon was missing. She smiled. He would always get up early to have a morning snack of gems before breakfast.
Now being completely relaxed, she lifted herself out of bed and walked downstairs to make breakfast. Sitting at the table, reading as he waited patiently, was Rhino. She smiled and walked into the kitchen. She began to use her magic to get the ingredients needed for breakfast out of the cabinets, pantry, and fridge. She then made her way to the counter top, to set the ingredients down. She then used her magic to get the utensils necessary for what she was to make. Pancakes with fried apples- her's and Rhino's favorite breakfast meal.
Rhino, smelling the uncooked ingredients, placed the book down, got off the chair, and walked over to his friend to see if she needed any assistance. Mid-way to her side, he stopped. He gasped pointing at her flank.
"STAR!" he stated with mixed emotions. Confusion, curiosity, and panic swirled around deep within him.
SilverStar Flame turned toward her friend. "Yes, Rhino?"
"YOUR FLANK! IT IS BLANK!"
Alarmed, SilverStar Flame followed the direction of his claw to her flank. Her eyes widened to see that what her friend said was true.
Dropping everything, she went and grabbed her bag, and book she checked-out. She tried to keep herself calm and collected all the while. Though, her slightly fast movements indicated that she was in a panic. She quickly walked over to Rhino. Picking him up with her magic, she placed him on her back.
"We must hurry, and see Princess Celestia!" she stated, slight alarm in her tone as she galloped out of her house.
"Princess SilverStar Flame! Welcome!" Celestia called to her from across the throne room.
Collapsing form exhaustion, SilverStar Flame glanced up at the Princess. Her ears were down, and her eyes showed the alarm she felt.
Celestia noticed, and approached her.
"SilverStar Flame, why so panicked?" She asked with her soothing voice.
SilverStar Flame stood up, panting slightly.
"Princess Celestia! It is my flank! It- it's..... Blank...," SilverStar Flame replied, her eyes widening some more as her pupils shrank.
"Let me seem, young one," Celestia stated, still maintaining calm.
Spreading her large wings, SilverStar Flame revealed to Princess Celestia her blank flank.
"Oh my...," Celestia stated, before turning and walking away, slightly. "Very well. I see, it is time then."
"What do you mean?"
"Princess SilverStar Flame," Celestia stated as she turned her head to glance back at her panicked student. "It is time you completed your destiny as an Alicorn Princess."
SilverStar Flame's eyes widened. She could feel Rhino tugging her tail.
"Star, what your book read is true!" he whispered to her.
SilverStar Flame turned to look at him. "How did you know what my book read?"
Giving a bashful smile, Rhino replied with, "I read some of it this morning, before you woke up."
His friend nodded in reply, not feeling angered at all. She actually appreciated his desire to read. But this was no time to think of such things. She turned back to Celestia with a look of curiosity and innocence.
"What must I do, Princess Celestia?" she asked.
Celestia sighed as she walked up to the stain glass window of SilverStar Flame.
"You must go to Ponyville. There, you shall meet others who will help you discover your destiny. And do not worry, another Alicorn student of mine resides there. Though, she has not yet gone through the stage you are going through. Either way, I felt like informing you of this so you do not feel alone."
SilverStar Flame nodded. "Then I shall go to Ponyville...," she mumbled.
Celestia heard and nodded. "You will leave tomorrow," she stated as she walked away with her eyes closed. "Your carriage will be awaiting you early in the morning tomorrow. I recommend you pack your bags now, and get some rest. It will be a big day for you tomorrow."
SilverStar Flame nodded, before bowing to her Highness. She then galloped out of the castle, heading home to prepare for the start of her big journey tomorrow.

Episode 3: Another Dreamer in Ponyville
With a sigh, SilverStar Flame paced the room as she collected some things to pack, and take with her to Ponyville. She started last night, and got the majority of the packing done. She just became too tired to finish, so she went to bed. Now, she is up a bit earlier than planned to finish the job. Still, she knew by the time she finished, the carriage will be ready, or will be pulling in.
"Uh, Star... With you losing your Cutie Mark... What does it mean? Other than you needing to find... your new destiny?" Rhino asked as he helped her pack.
With another sigh, SilverStar Flame finished packing and walked outside with Rhino.
"Well, magic-wise, I discovered last night, after you had went to bed, that my magic was reduced. Before, I had basic Unicorn magic when I was a Pegasus. It never surprised me though, since my father was a Unicorn. I was able to use basic spells, and use my magic to use other objects like using bowls to cook. My magic was also based around illusion."
"I remember you telling me how the shooting star you created as a filly was an illusion..."
SilverStar Flame nodded as she lifted Rhino with her magic and placed him into the carriage, before, she got in. The carriage Pegasus then took off with a whisk. SilverStar Flame could feel the breeze blowing her face, and she sighed from relaxation of it.
"It was an illusion, though, as a filly at the time, I did not know better. Fascination got the better of me, but after joining Celestia's School of Magical Talent, I realized better. Either way, after becoming an Alicorn, my magic was still pretty basic. The only thing that changed was the spells I can use. I was able to cast some more spells, but not a good deal to make me seemed like an all-powerful Alicorn. Especially since I am and Alicorn Princess in training. But now, with my Cutie Mark gone, I can no longer cast the spells I had learned after becoming an Alicorn. So, my magic must be even more basic now."
Rhino glanced at his friend as she looked down in deep thought. His eyes grew sad feeling guilty. He knew nothing was his fault, he just felt bad for his friend.
"Well, if it makes things better, I think you are powerful!" he stated, trying to sound as cheerful as he could.
SilverStar Flame laughed. "Rhino, you are a silly dragon. I am not upset at all. I know it is my duty to find my Alicorn Destiny- the reason why I was chosen to be an Alicorn. I never thought myself worthy, but, with recent events, I began to think of different reasons as to why I may have been chosen to be an Alicorn."
Rhino looked at her perplexed and curious. "What do you think the reasons are?"
SilverStar Flame turned and smiled at him. "Well, I feel as though I am meant to rule over my own kingdom of some sort. Like Celestia and Luna over Equestria. And Cadence over the Crystal Empire. Maybe, I am meant to be ruler of a lost kingdom like Cadence." With a shrug, SilverStar Flame continued, "Who knows. I also feel as though it relates to the stars..."
Rhino gasped excitedly. "Do you think you are meant to rule over destiny?"
SilverStar Flame laughed. "Please, Rhino. Destiny is not that simple. Destiny is its own ruler of its own design. If it had a pony ruler, that would be unfair to the other ponies, for destiny passes its own judgement. And when you give a pony that power, he or she will become corrupt in someway."
Rhino gave a confused look. "I do not understand, Star..."
SilverStar Flame smiled at him with her eyes closed. "You will figure it out with time." She then glanced up at the sky, thinking about the stars she finds oh-so beautiful. "Maybe, my empire will be like the Crystal Empire, but with stars! That would be nice..."
Rhino stared at his friend in awe. He never understood why she was able to maintain this cool, collective personality. He also appreciated the fact that she was a dreamer... Who was willing to go any distance to make her dream come true.
It was a long trip, but the carriage had finally come to a stop. SilverStar Flame helped Rhino out of the carriage before helping herself out.
"Thank you, boys. I hope you have a safe flight back," SilverStar Flame stated to the Pegasus who were pulling the carriage.
"No, thank you, Princess," the one in the front right stated before all four of them took off.
SilverStar Flame waved to them before using her magic to place Rhino on her back.
"Let us go Rhino," she stated as she made her way into Ponyville. After realizing the situation at hand, she sighed, placing her head down, and her ears back. "A new start awaits, I guess."
She then perked up, thinking to herself to better the situation, With a new beginning comes new friends.... So... I should stop worrying....
