The Message, The Scottie Dog

Chapter 10; The Message, The Scottie Dog

I'm a very vivid dreamer, but a sort of a lucid dreamer too.

I say this so that you will not be surprised at what I am about to tell you, I met myself. Some time when I can’t process of deal or something is bothering me I meet myself. I was human again in a darkened room with a curtain and stage, when a spotlight came on a figure parted the curtain and took the stage. I think he is my subconscious mind or my Id not sure which yet. The other me looked like my human self but his hands looked more like the dragon claws I was now sporting and his legs were now becoming more wolf like.

Smiling at me he started. “Gotta say I like the new look, it’s really going to suit me,” He looked at his claws and flexed them “But I have to say that you are one of thee most sexually repressed people in the entire universe, I mean that unicorn was looking for some and you didn’t even capitalize on it!”

I shook my still human head. “We were tired.”

“Likely Excuse.” He waved a clawed hand at me.

“Listen I don’t have to take this if you are going to bother me about missing another opportunity to get a girlfriend or “Score” then I’m out of here.” I turned to leave.

“Wait! That’s not why. That’s not why I want you here. Listen, I’ll help keep Luna in the dark, but YOU HAVE TO KNOW,” He emphasized this. “We’re missing something.”

“What?” I blinked

“Just what I said, we’re missing something. You know and I most certainly know it. Can’t put my ‘Newly clawed’ finger on it though. Plus, don’t be afraid to rely on this new dragon body of ours, let me out and play a little. I’ll be more in-tune with this body then you and I’m guessing you’ll need this to survive. We both know stories like this either don’t end or have bad endings, yeah there are some good one but still…” He seemed to pause. “Something is happening, I have to go now but remember KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED AND EARS OPEN. Remember ‘WE’ are missing something.” My Id walked back through the curtain and the light turned off. The whole seen dissolved and became something else.

Something was different, something was different about this dream. I know that I was still dreaming but I couldn't help what's happening, basically I was an observer nothing more. I was wandering, in wandering through the mountain side of Canterlot. I was traveling down the side until I came to an enormous building. It looked like a grand cathedral, surrounded by three sweeping towers. The towers and the Cathedral were interconnected to each other by a sears of new and more modern tower buildings. The Grounds were surrounded by lush gardens, with intricate topiary, statues and fountains with beautiful sculpted walk ways. I saw what I could only describe as magic constructs everywhere; platforms making roads in and out of the main area, walk ways connecting the various building, and train rails connecting the to the main station.

"Welcome to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns...," I could hear a voice, strong and purposeful, but I didn't know where it was coming from. "Ah unicorns, the one pony tribe that need the most help but don't know it. See you when you wake up my good dragon. My good sir."

I woke up in the same bed my former unicorn sheet, Astral, was gone. I struggled to get myself out of bed, I was not use too use to my body as I thought. I slipped out of the mosquito netting and looked around for my hostess. The tent was now brighter because the sun's light came through it.

"I see that you're up." Astral said as she entered the tent. I nodded.

"Yeah, know where I can get some tea? I could use some." I ran my hand through my scaly hand.

"Well we'll get some in the dining room, a messenger stop by and left an invitation for us to join the Princess as well as your friend. The head Chef is even add that he hopes you like your meal. I’m guessing you met Le Grand?"

I nodded. “I take it he likes his job?”

She only laughed and threw me a towel. "You'll need this, there is a shower set up around the back of my tent. Just poke the cloud it's more sensitive than most."

Poke the cloud, What did she mean by that?

In the back of the tent was a canvas tent that had what looked like a drain that empty out into the garden. I moved the flap aside, I could barely fit, and floating above the tent was a puffy black storm cloud. "Oh, that should have been obvious." The sides of the tents were had pockets that had soap and shampoo as well as a zippered pocket, I assumed that if was for the towel.

Putting in the pocket I poked the rain cloud and it started up. I went through my routine, lather up, wash off, reach various places that I would not like to mention. I wondered how the ponies did all this without opposable thumbs but as the storm cloud started drying out and became white and puffy, so I stepped out.

As I dried off I saw a little black Scottie dog with a red bandana, and adored with planem jewelry scurrying over to me. I didn't seem like anyone was around and a dog with jewelry wouldn't have been allowed to just wandering around. Would he? The dog seemed to look me up and down and then pulled a note form it’s scarf. It stood there wait for me to take the note form it, I knelt down and took the note the scotty dog skidoo a way, only way to describe his walk.

I looked at the note; I told you I would see you again. Meet me today at Celestia’s school. Ask Spike to take you he’ll know where to go.

“Good shower?” Astral asked.

“Yeah, but a Scotty dog brought me a note. What’s this about?” I showed her the note but I did not give her time to read it. .

“The dog is some sort of messenger for a noble, I guess.” She shrugged. “I’ve always seen him scurrying around Canterlot

“Come one let's get to breakfast shall we?’ She let me out of the tent.

Yeah, were chit chatting on our way there, she was telling me about her adventures. I really liked to hear about them. She did some pretty amazing things in her time, that was even before she took her Royal Office. Celestia was the one that appointed her because she was not only good magically finding things or the fact that she was an accomplished treasure hunter.

She was making it clear to me that she was not attracted to Blue Blood at all. Apparently he had several, let's stay incidents with other female co-workers in the past. That was putting it nicely.

Astral and I got to the dining room.As we passed through the dining hall doors. "Astral, I can't believe you're here!" A familiar lavender unicorn came running up to her.

"Twily, it's great to see you!" Astral cheered embracing her.

"When did you get here?"

"Last night, Princess Luna asked me to take care of Spooky here.”
She pushed me slightly.

“Really and what happened.” Twilight shot me an angry look.

“Nothing, we were both whipped. I used him as big pillow, he’s just so soft. Nothing like Spike,” She looked over at Spike. “No offense little bro.”

“None taken. He breaths Spiders and he’s not fire proof.” Spike called from the table.

“Spider that’s weird,” She looked at me, still smiling . “So Twiliy, what happened while I’ve been gone?” Astral turned back to Twilight.

Twilight shook her head. “You don’t even know, Shining got married.”

“Let me guess Cadence? ” They both laughed. “About damn time, he used to masturbate to her picture all the time. Then there was that time they both got caught in the janitor's closet.” They both laughed again.

“Mom, Dad were super pissed about that.” Twilight seemed to be thinking about something. “Princess Celestia not so much? Think she knew?”

“That they were going to be a couple?” Astral questioned.

As if on cue that’s when the royal couple came in. The look on his face changed from happy from seeing Astral to one of anger when he saw that I was next to her.

“What are you doing near my sister?” Shining snorted at me as he scratched at the ground.

“S... Sis... Sist...Sister?” I stammered.

Astral nodded. “Yeah, I’m the oldest of the Sparkle siblings.” That when I saw her cutie mark, I mean really saw it. I was surprised that I hadn't noticed it sooner. It was a magenta star sitting in a compass that had tiny white stars at the North South East and West positions. Shifting my eyes back to Shining Armor he started to charge his magic.

Get away from my sister!” Shining Roared as he ready to fire.

“I would run if I were you. He is a little over protective of his sisters.” Astral told me.

“Ah crud.” I sighed.
