The origins of Glistening Blade Ponyville Royal guard

"Hey Twilight Sparkle is it normal to wake up to see huge clouds of black smoke here in Ponyville."

"What are you talking about said Twilight Sparkle as she slowly opened her eyes."

"Why don't you look outside and you will see what I mean."

"Well that sounds reasonable."

Twilight Sparkle looked out the window to see a huge cloud of black smoke had covered most of the town.

"Glistening Blade do you know what this could be."

"Is it possible that there is a dragon near by because that would explain it."

"Blade i bet this is just a wonderful way to start off your first day in ponyville."

"Absolutely" said blade as he rolled his eyes.

"Well Should we check the mountains and see if there is a dragon over there."

"Sounds like a wonderful idea said blade as he started putting on the armor Shining Armor gave him."

"Blade ill meet you there i'm going to get my friends."

Blade set off on his way to the mountains he searched through multiple caves before Twilight Sparkle came with her friends.

"Hey Rainbow Dash She called out fly around the mountains and see if you can find the dragon."

"No problem Rainbow Dash called out as she flew as fast as possible around the mountains."

"Hey everypony" Fluttershy said trembling "Look up".

"Well that is the biggest dragon I've ever seen said Blade."

"Isn't it the only dragon you've ever seen" said Twilight Sparkle.

"No actually one attacked the castle before it destroyed half of it me and shining armor got rid of him after awhile the Princess made us help rebuild the castle."

Blade ran farther up the mountain to the summit then he jumped off and landed on the dragons back where he was thrown off and smashed to the ground making a loud thud and leaving a hole in the ground.

"Well i hope blades alright" said Twilight Sparkle.

Glistening blade slowly rose from the hole he created when he slammed into the ground he slowly climbed the mountain he was very hurt from the fall. Then he remembered the spell Princess Celestia tought him to get rid of the dragon that attacked canterlot. He gathered his last remaining energy and cast the spell he sent the dragon to a whole different dimension. Then he collapsed where he was greeted by Twilight Sparkle and all her friends. Blade cried out in pain as Twilight Sparkle helped him to his feet. He looked around at all her friends they were all congratulating him on getting rid of the dragon he had never received this many compliments from Princess Celestia. It was then that Blade realized he had made new friends after being on the guard so long he forgot the feeling.

"Thank you everyone" Blade said triumphantly.

As he walked with everyone back to the town he knew he would have to write to the Princess telling her what he accomplished.

When everyone else left he walked with Twilight Sparkle to her house then when he got inside he wrote his letter to the Princess.

Dear Princess Celestia,

Day one in ponyville was pretty interesting i fought a dragon and it was after that moment that i made friends with all of your star student Twilight Sparkles friends i didn't realize how great it is to have friends that support you and enjoy your accomplishments.
