Jokes and Masks

Two men, Edward Blake and Walter Kovacs, realised the evil of human nature a bit too early in life.

Eddie realised how much of a joke it was to try to correct it; how pointless it would be in the end once everyone died, and so he spent his time on the only sensible purchase: having fun. Which, for him, usually entailed killing some people (but he figured he could get away with it so long as his victims were the "bad guys".)

Walter saw the world's utter chaos and disorder and hated it, and he used his life relentlessly imposing his own monochromatic brand of deadly justice on the evil, never once considering how futile it would be in the end.

Neither of them was prepared to be dumped into the Everfree Forest.

-I don't own MLP:FiM, Hasbro does. I don't own Watchmen, DC Comics does.
-I'm probably going to rewrite chapters 1, 2, and 3 as soon as I get to chapter 5.
