My name is Nick Stotes, I have been living in Equestria for four months now, and barely managed to get by. Living in a small shack just past the east apple field of Sweet Apple Acers, I usually kept to myself but one stormy night, as I sat by the fire, I heard a knock at my door.

And who awaited behind it, may of changed my life for the better. Princess Twilight Sparkle, standing in the pouring rain, looking up into my eyes, waiting to come inside.
