[Twilight and friends]

"How much further?" Rainbow Dash moaned. "This is getting really boring."

"We're almost there Rainbow Dash." Twilight said, and looked at her map. "It should be over that large hill." She said. Twilight and her friends have been walking through the Everfree forest for about two, or three hours, and have found nothing. Some of the girls are starting to regret coming along, and want to turn back. But they see how excited Twilight is, and decided to stay with her until she finds out the truth that humans are only a fairy tail. Luckily the main six had no problems with the wild life of the Everfree forest, but they did have a hard time getting pass the swamps. Twilight led her friends up the hill, and scanned the area below them.

"Uh, Twi, I don't see a thing." Applejack said, and looked around. "Only the side of a darn mountain." Twilight's smile soon disappeared, and was replaced with worry.

"M-maybe it's in the mountain." She said, and looked back to her friends. "Lets just go make sure." She said with a sheepish smile. Her friends stared at her for a moment. "Pleeeease." It took some time, but soon they all moaned, and followed Twilight down the hill. They reached the side of the mountain, and began to look for the red claw Twilight said was a sign of humans. They looked high and low, but found nothing. That is until Pinkie found something.

"Hey, look at what I found!" Pinkie pie yelled with joy, and jumped up, and down. Everyone ran to Pinkie pie, and gasped. Everyone stared in shock, except Pinkie pie who was jumping around, at a red claw on the bottom of a rock. Soon Twilight put the image in her book next to the rock, and smiled.

"This is it!" She shouted, and started to jump around with Pinkie pie. Soon both Twilight, and Pinkie began to chant, "We found it, we found it!" The rest of the group was shocked at their discovery, and looked at each other. Soon Rarity spoke.

"This cant be right, there must be a reason for this." She said.

"But what else in Equestria can make that print?" Fluttershy said. "I've never seen anything like it."

"Well, what do we do?" Rainbow Dash asked. Soon Twilight finished her celebration, and returned.

"We open the doors to the human city." Twilight said, and pulled out her book. "Ready everypony?" She asked. They all nodded, and Twilight began. "Hope is the key." She said. Soon the symbol began to glow red, and a voice could be heard.

"Hope is the lock."

The voice then disappeared, and the earth below Twilight, and her friends began to split apart. They quickly backed away, and watched the ground come apart. Soon the ground stopped, and revealed a large metal door. Twilight looked to her friends, and smiled. "Shall we?" She asked. They all sighed, and followed Twilight towards the door, and into the city of D.C.

[Jacobs pov]

We all walked through the old streets covered with both human, and pony skeletons, and I could feel the anger build up inside of me. I could even see the same anger in the rest of the marines faces, and sighed. "Man, hard to think this place was once our home." I said.

"Yeah I hear ya." Marcus said in a low voice. His face showed zero emotion as we walked, but I could see something in his eyes, something I saw in everyone of the Marines faces. Rage. Rage that has been growing, and growing inside of us all for a long time, and is at the verge of exploding. I was about to say something else, but I was cut of by several gunshots, and shortly a loud voice boomed over the radio.

*This is Kritz, we have contact! Another horde of those dogs showed up out of no where! We need back -SHIT ON YOUR LEFT!*

Several gunshots came from the radio, and both a howl and a scream could be heard. "Shit!" I growled, and spun around to the rest of the marines. "Lets move people!" I yelled, and sprinted towards the White house with all my speed. Soon my squad caught up with me, and we reached the action. I looked back to Marcus, and his squad. "Marcus, we'll move onto their rear, you get to Delta team and help them out!" I shouted. Marcus nodded, barked his orders to his squad, and they sprinted to help Delta squad. Me and my men quickly moved to our position, and ran into several of the armored dogs. They quickly spotted us, and fired arrows from their crossbows, and threw spears and ax's at us. We quickly dived into cover, and lit them up. Several of them howled, and fell dead, and the remaining fleabags quickly fled. I put in a fresh mag, and vaulted over my cover."We're not done yet boys, lets keep moving." I said, and continued on. We soon reached a wide opening, and dashed for the White houses entrance. Several dead dogs laid on the ground with a puddle of blood surrounding them. We quickly went up the stairs, but when we reached the front door a marine crashed through the door. I was about to rush to his aid, but in a split second a large armored dog that was twice the size of the other dogs jumped on top of the marine, and sunk it's large metal like teeth into the marine. The marine let out a scream of pure pain as the dog violently shook him in it's teeth. I raised my Scar-H, and fired several shots into the monster. My squad did the same, and lit up the large dog. A lot of the bullets were deflected by the dogs thick armor, but most of them struck the dogs flesh. The monster let go, and roared at us with rage, but didn't attack us. Instead it bit down on the marines leg, and flung him towards us. The marine crashed into me, and we both tumbled down the stairs. Once we stopped, I pushed the motionless marine off of me, and checked for a pulse. Nothing. I cussed under my breathe, took his dog tags, and bolted back up the stairs. But before I could get back up the stairs the monster leaped over me, and down the stairs. I spun around, and fired only three shots from my Scar-H. They were deflected, and the armored monster quickly ran off. "Fuck!" I screamed, and put in a fresh magazine. I was about to run after it, but I felt some one grab my shoulder. I looked back, and saw Liam.

"Sir, we don't have time for him, we need to help the others." He said with a emotionless expression. I looked back to the fleeing monster, and sighed. I nodded.

"Your right, you right. Lets keep moving." I said, and regrouped at the front door. We quickly check our ammo, and went through the door to see several dead dogs laying along the floor, and stairs. We slowly walked through the room of dead dogs, and kept our sights high, and low. We stopped in the middle of the room, and I listened. No gunfire, and no screaming. I slowly grabbed my radio, and spoke. "This Viper squad requesting a report. How copy?" I asked, and waited for a response. Soon I got one.

*This is Delta squad, we're set up in the presidents office with one dead, and one injured.*

*This Echo squad, we just took care of the last bunch of these fuckers. I think we're clear.*

"Roger that, lets meet up a Delta squads position." I said.

*Roger that.*

I sighed, and motioned my squad to follow me. We slowly walked up the stairs, and walked towards the presidents office. Once we reached the office Echo squad, and Delta squad were waiting for us. Marcus's men were positioned near the windows watching out for anymore dogs, and Kritz squad were scattered across the room. They were beat up, and covered in blood, and dirt. Marcus, and Kritz were both talking, and soon they both spotted me. I walked up to Kritz, and stuck out my hand. "Good to see your still alive Captain." I said. Kritz only nodded, and leaned against the wall. It was quite for a few minutes, but soon Kritz spoke.

"Did you see one of my marines down there?" He asked. I nodded, and took out the marines dog tags. I tossed them to him, and he snatched them out of the air. He stared at the tags for a moment, and sighed. "Shit!" He growled, and clenched the tags in his fist. I decided to leave him alone for a bit, and walked away. But I stopped, and looked at Marcus. We need to set up, and protect this place until we come up with a plan. Me and my men will work on the first floor, and you, and your men will work up here. Fair?" I asked. He nodded. I gave a nod back, and led my squad down below to begin working.

[Shades pov]

"Top dog, top dog, top dog." The dogs chanted as they followed me, and Frost through the cave.

"Can you please shut these guys up?" I mumbled. He sighed, and looked back.

"SHUT UP!" He yelled. The dogs coward, and closed their mouth.

"Thank you." I said, and groaned. "How much further till we meet up with more humans?" I asked. He snuffed the air, and smiled.

"Not that far now, just a bit longer." He said, and looked at me. "So, what were you doing before you got frozen.

"What do you think. I was fighting for my kind." I said, and glared at him under my mask. "And don't ask me about the past, I hate it." I said. He only shrugged, and looked forward.

"Whatever." He said. We continued to walk for sometime, and finally came across something that made me stop dead in my tracks. It was Washington D.C in ruins. I stared at the ruins for a little while, and finally snapped out of it.

"Shit." I mumbled. "Well, glade to be home." I said. Jack chuckled.

"This was your home? What a shit hole." He chuckled.

"Shut up." I said. He chuckle some more, but stopped. He started to sniff the air. "What is it?" I asked.

"Blood." He said, and pointed towards the White house.

"More of those dogs?" I asked.

"Yep, but hold on." He said, and grabbed my arm. Before I could react he bit my hand. I jumped, and gave a hard blow to his jaw. I pulled back, and he rubbed his jaw with a small smile. "Ow." He said.

"What was that for?" I shouted as I glared from under my mask.

"I needed your blood." He said, and sniffed my hand. "Yep."

"Yep?" I asked.

"Yep, that's human blood, and dog blood." He said. "Coming from that large structure."

"Shit, then that means the others could be there." I said. "Come on lets get going." I said, and started to pick up the speed towards the White house. Jack and his new followers kept up with me as we entered the city. But as we entered the city, the sound of gunfire echoed through the air.
