Revenge feels so good
Where am I? Who am I?
Previous ChapterTwilight, and her friends slowly walked through a hallway made entirely of metal, and filled with ruble. A fowl smell filled the air, and the main six were both confused, and disgusted by it's stench. Rarity, Fluttershy, and Twilight tried their best to block the smell, while Pinkie pie, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack simply adapted to it as they went deeper, and deeper into the hallway. Soon Rarity spoke. "Dear Celestia, this foul smell will be the death of me!" Rarity complained, and gagged.
"Hey Twi, where are we going?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"We're suppose to be in the lost city by now, but it's not here." Twilight said, and looked at her map. She sighed, and looked back to her friends. "Well, at least we're on the trail." She said. Rainbow Dash huffed, and rolled her eyes.
"Twilight dear, what do you plan on doing once we find this city?" Rarity asked.
"Well, I plan to study the humans history, and learn what they were like." Twilight said. "Hopefully I can get a better understanding of what they were like, and what kind of culture they had. These books give a lot of detail, and information about humans, but I want to find more information from actual human books." Twilight said, and jumped with energy. "Oh I cant wait! Who knows what we can learn!" She said, and gave a small giggle.
"But Twi, didn't your parents tell ya about humans, ya know, to keep ya in line?" Applejack asked. Twilight thought for a moment, and spoke.
"I think they did, but I was real young so I don't really remember what the stories were. Why?" Twilight asked.
"Well when I was a filly, my pa told me about humans, and said that they were a race of monsters that would come in the night, and eat bad little fillies like me. Though that part may have been meant to keep me out of trouble, he did tell me that they were monsters." Applejack said.
"Oh yeah, my dad told me about humans when I was a filly too. He always said that they were awesome creatures, but they were still real messed up in the head." Rainbow Dash said.
"Are there any good stories about humans?" Fluttershy asked. Both Applejack, and Rainbow Dash thought for a moment, and shook their heads.
"Nope." Applejack said.
"Never heard of a good story." Rainbow Dash said.
"But still, everypony knows they are monsters." Applejack said.
"How do you know?" Fluttershy asked.
"Because the stories say they are." Rainbow Dash said.
"Have you ever met a human?" Fluttershy asked.
"Well of course not, bu-"
"Then we cant say they are monsters if we never met one." Fluttershy said. Rainbow Dash was a bit confused, but she just shrugged.
"Fine." Rainbow Dash said. The group was then silent for a few moments until they came across something on the ground. It was a small black box with a small button, and a knob. Twilight picked up the strange object, and inspected it, but soon static escaped the box, and shortly a voice followed.
*This is Sergeant Carlos Ramirez of Charlie three, is anyone out there? We have no idea where we are, and have just encountered strange hostile creatures that look like armored dogs.*
Twilight, and the group only stared at the black box with shock, and confusion, but soon Twilight spoke. "Um, hello strange box, creature, I am-" She was cut off by a bone chilling howl, and several loud pops, and cracks.
*Shit more of those fucking dogs are here! Form up, and open fire! This is Charlie three, we need help here. Someone just talk to me, we're surrounded, and we're in the dark here! Someone just fucking talk damn it!*
All that could be heard now were several more loud cracks, shouting, and howls. Twilight was so confused, shocked, and a little bit scared now. She had no idea what was happening, and just looked to her friends to see that they had the same look. Confusion, shock, and fear. Soon another voice could be heard, but this one was hard to understand.
*This- Jacob of- squad- move through the- until you reach- and we'll meet- and pull back.*
*Say again, your breaking up!*
*Move- tunnels until you- D.C and- pull back.*
Soon the new voice turned into static, and all that could be heard were the loud sounds from the other voice.
*Fuck! AHHHHHHHHH!*
Soon everything went silent, and the tunnels were dead quite. The girls only stared that the box, and began to grow nervous. Soon Fluttershy spoke. "Twilight, maybe we should leave." She said.
"What!? Why would we leave?!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Rainbow Dash is right, we need to keep moving, and find out what this thing is, and what we just listen to." Twilight said.
"But Twilight, that sounded really scary." Fluttershy said. Rainbow Dash put her hoof on Fluttershy's shoulder, and chuckled.
"Don't worry Fluttershy, as long as we're together, we'll be fine." Rainbow Dash said. Fluttershy was quite for a few seconds, but soon she smiled, and nodded.
"Okay." She said. Twilight put the strange black box into her bags, and the group continued through tunnels. As time pasted, strange sounds echoed though the tunnels. Loud pops, horrific screams, and a few explosions that shook the tunnels. Every step the girls made, the more they would want to turn around, and run back towards the surface, but their curiosity was to strong for them to turn back now. Soon the girls entered a new tunnel, and froze at a nightmarish sight. In front of the main six was a pile of dead, bloody diamond dogs. The girls stared in horror, and soon the awful smell of death hit them like a train. The girls gagged, and they couldn't help but release their lunches onto the ground. Once they regained themselves, Rarity spoke.
"Dear Celestia, what happened to them?" She asked. Twilight was about to say something, but another voice cut her off.
"Check your ammo boys, and get ready to move." A deep voice said. The girls quickly dived into cover, and held their breath.
"Sir, do you want me to help with your arm? That thing really got a good chunk of ya." Another voice said.
"No, we don't have time for that. We have to move before more get here." The deep voice said. "Eric, you good?"
"Ugh, yeah, the prick just got a lucky shot is all. I'm good to move." A voice said. Twilight then peeked out from her cover, and saw six strange bipedal creatures walking towards the pile of bodies. They wore strange looking cloths with a lot of metal objects hanging from them, and carried strange looking devises. Some of them had mask covering their faces, but some had no mask, so Twilight had a good look at their faces. Their faces were different colors of skin, and some of them had small patches of hair on their faces, and heads. Blood covered their cloths, and a few cuts, and scratches were on their dirt covered arms. Soon one of the creatures spoke, and Twilight pulled her back into cover.
"Where should we start?" Asked the creature.
"Not sure, but we better move now, I don't think we can take another wave of those things." Another creature said. Soon multiple footsteps could be heard, and they soon grew quieter until they were gone. The girls slowly walked out from their hiding places, and looked at each other with fear, and confusion.
"W-what were those things?" Asked Fluttershy. Everyone was silent for a moment, but soon Twilight spoke.
"I think they were, humans." Twilight said, and pulled out a drawing of a human. "I got a good look at a few of them, and they kinda look like this, they just have these strange clothing, and armor I've never seen before."
"Who cares, you saw what those things did to those dogs, they're insane!" Rainbow Dash said. "We have to go back, now!"
"But we can follow-" Twilight was quickly cut off by Rarity.
"Follow them? Darling, have completely lost your mind?" Rarity asked. Fluttershy walked over, and put her hoof over Twilight's head.
"Hmmm, she seems fine." Fluttershy said. Twilight pulled away.
"Fluttershy, I'm fine, thank you. But we need to follow them to the city." Twilight said.
"We don't need to do anything, but get the hay out of here! Those things will kill us in a second!" Applejack said.
"Please Twilight, lets just go back home, please." Fluttershy said. Twilight was about to say something, but she looked at her friends, and sighed.
"Fine, lets go home, and tell the princess what we found. Maybe she can take care of this." Twilight said. Her friends sighed with relief, and they all began their walk back towards the surface.
[Jill's pov]
I slowly opened my eyes, and felt the intense pain from my head. I groaned, and slowly lifted myself up to my feet. I stumbled a bit, and caught myself by leaning onto the walls of rock. I closed my eyes, and took a deep breath. "W-where am I?" I mumbled, and opened my eyes. "Who am I?" I asked myself, and cringed at the sudden surge of pain that shot through my brain. I groaned, and fell to my knees holding my head. So many voices raced through my mind, and a sudden image of a burning city filled my vision. Soon the image disappeared, and gasped. I felt sweat run down my face as I took several rapid breath, and rose to my feet with shaking legs. I looked around at my surroundings, and saw a M16 with a flashlight attached to it on the ground next to a large bag. I looked down at my uniform, and saw torn clothing, and scarred body armor. I then noticed dogs tag around my neck, and lifted it up to my eyes. 'Sargent Jill Harris'. I then looked to my shoulder, and saw the flag of the united states, and the symbol of the USMC. 'I must be a soldier.' I thought to myself, and walked over to the M16. I picked up the M16, and swung the large bag onto my back. It felt right holding this gun, but I couldn't remember what happened, or where I was.
I turned on the flash light from the M16, and instantly saw a large tunnel. I looked around for any other entrance, but found only walls of rock, and dirt. I shrugged, and walked into the tunnel. After a few minutes of walking in silence, I began to hear howling from behind me. I spun around, and aimed down my sights. I saw nothing, but the howling grew louder, and louder by the second, and soon I began to feel the ground under my feet shake. I began to get worried, and started to quickly walk backwards away from the growing sounds. Soon once a large roar filled the tunnel, I just spun around, and sprinted away. After I started to run away, several howls, and barks could be heard, and an arrow shot passed my head. I looked over my shoulder, and my eyes went wide with shock from the sight of a horde of armored dogs charging after me. "What the fuck!?" I shouted, and started to pick up the past. I looked down to my belt, and saw three grenades clanking together. I pulled of my belt, and pulled the pin to one of the grenades. I then threw them back, and increased my speed. Soon the tunnel shook when a large explosion erupted, and the barking, and howling of the dogs stopped. I sighed with relief, but before I could slow down a loud rumbling noise filled the tunnel. I looked over my shoulder, and screamed at the sight of the tunnel collapsing behind me. "What the fuck!" I screamed. I looked forward, and instantly a smiled crashed onto my face when I saw a bright light at the end of the tunnel. I put the rest of my energy into my legs, and sprinted towards the light, but before I could reach the exit a large bolder collapsed only inches from me. I quickly tried to squeeze past the side of the boulder, but my bag was to big to fit, so I quickly slipped out of the bag, and got past the boulder. I then sprinted towards freedom with the strength I had left. I could feel my legs aching, and I felt my chest burning as I jumped over fallen rocks, and dodged collapsing walls of earth. I felt the sweat drench me, and my cloths, and it was as if no air was left in my lungs, only dust. Luckily I was only a few feet from the exit, and gave a large smile of joy. Soon I reached the exit, and tripped by running up the exit.
As I crawled my way to the surface, I slowly rose to my feet, and I was about to take a deep breath of fresh, clean air, but before I could something slam into my back, and fell to the ground hard. Before I could recover, I was flipped over onto my back, and came face to face with another one of those dog things. I started to panic, and gave a hard blow to it's jaw. The dog growled, pinned my arms to the ground, and howled. Soon several more dogs crawled out of the ground, and surrounded me. I started to kick, but more dogs held my legs down. I looked up with fear, and saw evil, hungry smiles on each of the dogs faces. Soon the dog on top of me spoke. "So, little hairless monkey think he can invade our home, and escape. Very stupid." He said, and showed his sharp ugly teeth. The other dogs chuckled, and began to close in. I began to shake, and felt a tear escape my eye. I don't want to die not knowing anything about my life. I don't want to die period! The dog on top soon leaned in close, and chuckled. "Any thing you wanna say before we have dinner?" I gulped, and spoke.
"P-please don't kill me." I pleaded. Instantly the dogs face was replaced with confusion.
"Why does your voice sound like that?" He asked.
"Yeah, you bastards always sound tough with deep voices." A dog said. The dog on top of me then started to sniff me, and soon he started to laugh. "It's female!" He shouted. Soon the other dogs began to laugh, and soon their looks of hunger turned into something else. Something I didn't like. The dog then looked back to me with a grin. "You know our master keeps all the females for himself, so we have no females to mate with. So we're not picky." My heart started to pump faster, and faster as the dogs all around me began to close in again. "So I wonder what it would be like to mate with your kind. Care to find out?" My eyes were now filled with tears as I began to struggle more, and shook my head.
"NO! NO! GET OFF YOU UGLY MOTHERFUCKER!" I screamed. The dogs began to laugh as they grabbed my arms, and legs, and stretched them out. They started to rip large sections of my cloths off, leaving several scratches, and even a few cuts. I struggled, and screamed for help, but no one was coming. I was doomed. I closed my eyes, and waited for the worse. That is until a new voice filled the air.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!"
[A few minutes earlier]
Twilight and her friends quickly made their way towards the exit of the tunnel without any problems. That is until a loud explosion shook the tunnels. "What in equestria was that!?" Rainbow Dash said.
"I don't know, but can we just get the hay out of here!" Applejack said. The girls agreed, and they all began to run towards the exit. Shortly they found the exit, and quickly ran out into the bright suns light. The girls sighed with relief, and looked at each other with smiles of joy.
"Thank Celestia we made it out." Fluttershy said.
"Yeah, but I still don't like it here, so can we just get back to Ponyville so you can send a letter to the princess." Applejack said. Everyone agreed, and began to walk towards the large hill, but Twilight stood at the entrance of the tunnel, and sighed. She had so many questions, but she didn't want to risk her, or her friends lives for the answers. She took out the strange black box, and stared at it for a few seconds. 'What is going on? Why are the humans fighting the Diamond Dogs?' She thought to herself. She sighed once more, and turned towards the hill, and began to walk up the hill. At least she knew the answer to one of her questions. Are the humans dangerous? Yes. Soon Twilight was at the top of the hill, but she was taken out of her thoughts when she heard something behind her. She turned around, and she felt her heart skip a beat. A dirt covered human with a short black main, and holding the same strange object that the other humans had, was crawling out of the entrance, panting, and covered in sweat. The human slowly rose to it's full height, and it was about to do something, but before it could do anything a lone Diamond Dog shot out of the entrance, and tackled the human to the ground. The humans strange object was knocked to the ground as the human slammed onto the ground. Twilight lowered herself onto her stomach, and watched the scene before her with interest, and a bit of fear. The human struggled under the dog, but Twilight was pulled away from the scene by a voice.
"Twilight, what are you doing?" She turned her head around to see the rest of the girls looking at me with confusion. She hushed them, and motioned them over. They listened, and joined Twilight's side on their stomach's. Their eyes widened with shock, and looked back to the fighting human, and Diamond Dog. As Twilight returned to the scene she saw that the human was now on it's back with the Diamond dog pinning it's arms down to the ground. Twilight quickly pulled out her notebook, and began to write notes. Soon the dog howled, and shortly several other dogs crawled out of holes around the two. As the dogs began to surround them, the human began to fight even more, but soon the dogs had it fully pinned. Now all the human could do was stare at it's attackers. Soon the Diamond dog on top of the human began to spoke, but he was to far for us to hear him. Whatever the dog said it made the others chuckle, and give the human a evil smile. The dogs then started to slowly close in around the human, and the human was clearly shaking. The dog said something else, and the human soon replied. This seemed to confuse the Diamond dogs as they stopped closing in, and stared at the human. The dog on top of the human started to sniff the human, and soon he burst out into laughter.
"It's female!" He shouted. The other dogs also began to laugh, and their faces turned back into evil grins, but these grins were different. The sent chills down Twilight's spine.
"Twilight." Whispered Fluttershy. Twilight looked over to Fluttershy. "We have to do something." Fluttershy whispered.
"Are you nuts!" Rainbow Dash hissed.
"But we can't just watch this human be killed." Fluttershy said.
"The human may deserve it. Didn't you see what those other humans did in the tunnels?" Rainbow Dash reminded her.
"But we don't know why they fought each other. Maybe it was in self defense." Fluttershy said. Twilight was about to say something, but she, and the others were pulled away from the conversation by a voice. The human.
"NO! NO! GET OFF YOU UGLY MOTHERFUCKER!" The human screamed. The dogs only laughed as they began to stretch the humans limbs out, and started to tear her cloths off with their sharp claws. The human began to struggle, and scream for help. Her screams for help echoed through out the air, and Twilight didn't know what to do. She was frozen. Fluttershy on the other hand jumped up, and shot out her wings.
"LEAVE HER ALONE! Fluttershy's voice boomed with such power that it shocked all of her friends, and stopped the Diamond dogs. Fluttershy spoke again. "YOU LEAVE HER ALONE, AND GO BACK TO YOUR TUNNELS!" Fluttershy yelled. The dogs looked at each other, and started to laugh. Soon a dog spoke.
"Your just a little pony!" A dog laughed.
"Oooo, and she's a female too." Another smaller dog chuckled.
"It must be our lucky day!" Another dog shouted.
"I WON'T SAY IT AGAIN!" Fluttershy shouted.
"And what are you going to do if we don't listen?" A large dog asked. Fluttershy wasn't sure of what she was going to do, she only glared at the dogs. But soon Rainbow Dash got up, and stood next to her friend.
"Then I'll bet the crap out of you!" She shouted. Fluttershy looked to Rainbow Dash, and smiled. Rainbow Dash nodded, and turned back to the dogs. Soon the other joined their friends, and glared at the dogs, and readied themselves for a fight. The dogs chuckled, and began to march towards the ponies, but they quickly stopped once they saw Twilight. Their evil, hungry smiles disappeared, and were replaced with ones of shock, and a little bit of fear.
"A-an Alicorn." A dog said. Twilight took this chance, and began to form a large ball of energy with her horn.
"That's right, and if you don't let the human go, and return to your tunnels, I will turn you into stone!" She shouted. The dogs began to tremble at the sight of the large ball of power, and let the human go. They began to slowly back away towards their holes, but one dog glared at Twilight.
"This isn't over Princess, this human will be ours!" He snarled, and crawled back into his hole. Soon the other dogs began to disappear into their holes, and soon only the human, and the six ponies were left. Twilight canceled her spell, and sighed. Fluttershy ran towards the human who looked at the ponies with shock.
"Fluttershy, be careful!" Applejack shouted. Fluttershy ignored her friend, and knelt down next to the human. She gave the human a warm smile, and pulled out a canteen of water. She offered the human a drink, and the human gladly accepted her offer, and began to chug the water down. Fluttershy kept her smile, and watch as the shaking human drank the water. Soon the others reach Fluttershy, and the human. "Do you have a name?" Fluttershy asked. The human stopped drinking, and looked to Fluttershy with tired blue eyes. Her eyes were red from the tears, and she formed a small smile.
"Jill. M-my names Jill." The human spoke in a soft, but rather torn voice. Must have been from the screaming.
"That's a nice name." Fluttershy complemented. "Mine is Fluttershy." She looked to her friends who were now just staring at the two with interest. "Girls." Soon Rainbow Dash spoke.
"I'm Rainbow Dash." She said.
"I'm Applejack, glade your okay." Applejack said with a smile.
"I'm Rarity, it's a pleasure to meet you." Rarity said.
"I'm Pinkie Pie! Nice to meet you! Do you like parties! I sure do! Do you-" Pinkie was cut off my Applejack who covered her mouth with her hoof.
"Not now Pinkie." Applejack said. The others chuckled a bit, and soon Twilight cleared her throat.
"I'm Twilight." She said. Jill looked at the girls with a blank look, but soon she smiled.
"Thank you all for saving me." Jill said weakly. Soon she closed her eyes, and fell to the ground unconscious. Fluttershy lifted Jill's head up off of the ground, and sighed.
"She's okay, she just tired." She said.
"Good, now can we just get out of here?" Rainbow Dash said. FLuttershy nodded.
"Can you help me with her?" She asked. Applejack, and Rainbow Dash helped Fluttershy carry Jill up the hill, and the girls began to head back home.
[???]
A dark figure sat over a glowing ball, and gave a dark chuckle. "Oooo, now this is interesting." The figure said in a low dark voice. "Maybe it's time to let the others go, and get the real party started." And with that the figure disappeared.
