Celestia and Luna
Previous ChapterIn the once beautiful village in the Everfree, there lived a King and Queen. They ruled the land together, until something tragic happened. The queen was carrying a foal at the time; there was a war among 2 Kingdoms. The King went on the first trip to defend his kingdom, leaving the pregnant queen mare alone.
"Your highness, a letter for you." a mare said.
"Thank you Dusty." the queen answered.
She took the letter and began to read it and started to tear up.
"Your highness? Is everything okay?" Dusty asked.
"The king has gone missing. I'm now alone ruling this kingdom." The queen answered.
"Should I get the messenger?"
"Yes, but don't have him put too much detail into it. The last thing we need in a conflict within the kingdom."
"Yes your highness."
Dusty left the throne room. The queen sat in her throne, staring at the king's throne.
He's gone. I'll never be able to see him again. the queen thought
"Your highness! Another letter." Dusty said.
The queen took the letter from Dusty and began to read.
Dear Cresent,
I'm writing to you to let you know that I may never return to the castle. Many of the ponies that came with me have died. And I can't live thinking about it. I started thinking about you and the baby. I'm sorry dear, I'll try and come back to you but I'm not sure when.
I love you,
King Solar Flare
"Who was it?" Dusty asked.
"Solar Flare; he's not returning." The queen answered.
"I'm sorry your highness. He must be really thinking about something."
"Yeah, but now my baby won't even know who he is."
"Don't worry, she will."
Dusty left the room. The queen continued to cry. She lost the biggest part of her heart.
"Your highness." one of the guards ponies said.
"Yes?" the queen asked.
"The war is over, we won. The warriors that fought are on their way home."
"Lets welcome them home."
"I'll go get the captain."
"Yes, get the chariot ready."
"Yes your highness."
The guard left the room.
All but Solar Flare. the queen said to herself.
Soon 4 guards ponies came with a chariot wheeling behind them.
"Are you ready?" Dusty asked.
"Lets get going." the queen answered.
She got into the chariot and headed to the train station. When they arrived, the train pulled up; all the warriors came out.
"Welcome back! Thank you for fighting for our home. You finally get to go home yourselves. Get home, your families await you." the queen announced.
