Day One: Disaster StrikesView OnlineIsland of the LostDay One: Disaster StrikesDear diary, Today me and my friends are going on a vacation. All six of us entered a lottery for tickets to San Franciscolt. Earlier today, we found out that one of us had won! I'm packing my bags now. Not too heavy. It will be about a five day trip. I've packed my toothbrush, my hairbrush my- oh look at me! I'm making a checklist in my own diary. Of course I'll be packing you! What would I do without you? I won't have to worry about anypony nosing into my belongings either, since I'm rooming with Fluttershy. Spike had to stay behind though. I need somepony to take care of the library while I'm gone. Sunset Wonder has been busy, so I couldn't ask him. But San Franciscolt is a big city, I don't think Spike could handle it anyways. ___________________________________________________________________________ Twilight picked up her diary and placed it in her neatly arranged suitcase. She closed the case and placed it at the bottom of her stairs. She looked about the library, no Spike in sight. "Spiiiiiiiiiike!" "What is it?" Spike asked, emerging from another room. "Are you going to be okay while I'm gone?" "Yes. I'll be fine." "Alright, just don't eat any ice cream." Spike grumbled under his breath "It's not like you'll be here to stop me." "Don't eat any ice cream." "Okay." Spike groaned. "It's late Spike, why don't you get to bed." "Alright." Spike climbed up the stairs, reaching the top and waddling over to his basket. He crawled into the basket and pulled his blankie over him. Twilight smiled. She trotted up the stairs to her own bed, hopping inside and pulling her cozy covers about her. They had just been washed and smelled clean and slightly flowery. It was nice. Twilight closed her eyes and imagined the trip. Rarity was probably going to tan on the beach. Rainbow Dash was probably going to try her hoof at surfing. Fluttershy might be watching for sea wildlife. Pinkie Pie would definitely throw a beach party. Every day. Applejack would definitely get on a bus and head up to Neighpa Valley to see the orchards. What was Twilight going to do? Twilight turned to her bedside table and leafed through the pamphlet she had received. Now she remembered, she was going to visit the many museums in the area. Twilight rolled back over into her comfortable position. She closed her eyes again and dreamed. ___________________________________________________________________________ In the morning Twilight checked her suitcase to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything. Twilight had gotten up extra early to cook Spike a pancake breakfast. She closed the suitcase and picked it up. She opened the front door and trotted outside. She closed the door behind her and trotted through the morning streets of Ponyville. Mist hung in the air. Twilight spotted movement out of the corner of her eye. Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie had already met up with each other and were on their way to the train station. They spotted Twilight and called to her. Twilight Trotted over to them. They began walking and talking of how excited they were to go on a trip with their best friends. The train station came into view. Rarity, Applejack, and Rainbow Dash had already arrived and were waiting for the train, which would be there any minute. Twilight talked with her friends until they heard the rumbling of the tracks. The train powered into the station and stopped at the platform. The six ponies entered the train and took their seats. The destination was one they took often. Canterlot. Why were they going to Canterlot? Because Ponyville didn't have an airport. ___________________________________________________________________________ The six ponies arrived in Canterlot. They grabbed their luggage and exited the train. The excitement leaking from their forms almost made the train ride seem shorter than normal. It was about noon now. The six friends had to get to the airport by one o' clock else they be late. The six trotted through the busy streets of Canterlot. The posh ponies pushed past the six friends. Not all Canterlot ponies were rude, just some. Twilight ignored their plight and continued towards the airport. The building was now in sight. The airport was quite the spectacle. A large glass foyer greeted the six ponies on their way to the plane. The central hub of the airport consisted of more glass, held up by stone arches. Potted plants of all kinds made the place seem all the more airy. The six ponies trotted up towards the front desk. Twilight Sparkle greeted the pony behind the counter. "Hello I'm-" "Do ya have a ticket?" "Yes." "Lemme see it." Twilight gave the pony her ticket. The mare examined it and gave it back. "Alright then Miz Spahckle, whatcha wanna do is go down the hall until ya come ta gate 'B', then hand the ticket ta tha guy workin' tha turnstile. He'll let ya in and ya can board the plane." "Thank you." The pony at the desk gave her a dismissive wave. Twilight and the others followed the instructions given by the pony and eventually came to gate B. The turnstile pony asked for their tickets and punched them with a hole punch. He handed back the tickets and unlocked the turnstile. Inside the waiting room. Twilight checked the time and turned to her friends. "alright everypony, we've got fifteen minutes, so grab a snack and whatever else you need to take care of." The group disbanded in all directions. Twilight grabbed a bagel and cup of coffee since she hadn't actually eaten breakfast yet. Some odd feeling inside her told her to get something else. She returned to the counter with a medium sized bag of salted peanuts and a large bottle of water. She stored these in her suitcase and headed off in a different direction. Something else inside her told her to turn around. She did so and saw the gift shop. She headed towards it. Inside the gift shop she looked around. She saw some more things she had the urge to buy for no apparent reason. She bought a bag of preserved fruits (since ponies don't eat beef jerky), a first aid kit, and a Swiss army knife. Why was she buying these things? She would never need this stuff, but something compelled her to do so. At the counter she paid for her purchases, also throwing in a disposable lighter. She left the shopping area before she started buying anything else. Fluttershy caught up with her. "Twilight...umm...I hate to be nosy, but...umm...when did you start smoking?" "I don't smoke." "Then why buy a lighter?" Fluttershy got even quieter "are you an arsonist?" "No." "I'm sorry Twilight, I didn't mean to pry." "It's okay Fluttershy. I don't understand why, but I've been compelled to buy all this random stuff." "I understand. I actually bought some pretty strange things too. I bought an emergency radio and a bottle of water. When am I ever going to use an emergency radio?" "In an emergency?" "Well yeah...but you know what I mean." "Are you ready to get on the plane?" "I guess so." Fluttershy and Twilight boarded the plane. The plane was relatively empty. Not many ponies traveled by air, especially if they could fly on their own. On the plane was a family of four and a business pony. The rest of Twilight's friends were already on the plane. The pilot got on the intercom "Alright ponies. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. We are going to San Franciscolt. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. the weather is nice there. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. We are looking at a clear flight." Twilight sat back in her seat. The flight was going to be about twelve hours, so they all had time to kill. Twilight opened her suitcase and pulled out a book. She eyed the supplies she had purchased. She felt foalish for letting herself impulsively buy these things. Was it really impulse? What could be foreshadowed? Twilight closed her suitcase. She opened The book she had brought. She closed the book and frowned to herself. Jungle Survival 101. Why did she bring this book? She remembered, it was the only book in her library she hadn't read. She smiled to herself, this was all silly. Nothing bad was going to happen. Twilight re-opened her book and read through chapter one in an hour. The pilot came back on. "Uhhhh. Yeah, remember when I said the flight was going to be clear. Don't panic, buuuuuuuut I might have been wrong." Twilight looked out the window. Storm clouds. The flight path brought them past the city of Daylas, Equestria's number one producer of storms, and around this time of year, the entire midwest needed a big rain quota for their crops. The pilot had obviously not been aware of the time of year. He came back on "Yeah. We aren't gonna fly through that. I'm gonna try to-" The plane rocked "Uh oh.". By this point Fluttershy had completely lost it. "UH OH!? WHAT DOES HE MEAN UH OH?!" She pulled out a paper sack and began breathing heavily into it. She finally just became completely overwhelmed and passed out. Twilight looked out the window. She saw smoke. Smoke meant fire. Something was definitely going wrong. Twilight closed her eyes to calm herself. She felt the plane dip slightly. Her eyes shot open. She looked out the window again and saw a parachute. The pilot had jumped. They were on their own. The plane went into a spiral. On occasion it glided off in one direction, and they were over the Gulf of Mexicolt before splash down. Hitting the water awoke Fluttershy. She grabbed the supplies she had bought and headed for the door. "C'mon Twilight!" "I'm coming!" Twilight grabbed her suitcase and began galloping towards the door. Fluttershy opened the door and they got out. The plane was beginning to sink. Twilight didn't look to see if anypony else made it out. She just swam. She eventually saw land. Her and Fluttershy were very lucky. They managed to get to land. They watched the plane begin to sink. They watched their friends get out, but then the worst possible thing happened. The plane exploded. Debris shot into the air and an inferno engulfed them. Fluttershy gasped and began to cry. Their friends were dead. ___________________________________________________________________________ Dear diary, Today my friends died. Nopony knows we survived the crash. We found out that the emergency radio was damaged by the sea water. We'll have to survive until somepony comes to check out the scene. That'll be a minimum of five days. We are definitely on an island. The plane crashed to far away from the maneland for us to even consider swimming there. I hope Spike is okay.
Day Two: Base CampView OnlineIsland of the LostDay Two: Base CampDear Diary, Today, Fluttershy and I erected a camp. We built a fire and made a mat out of clothes we brought. Fluttershy is still upset about the crash and breaking the radio. We ate some of the food I packed. We will need to make it last. Some debris from the plane washed ashore. We propped up a wing with another piece of plane to make a shelter. ___________________________________________________________________________ Twilight Sparkle stared out at the ocean. The sea breeze blew through her hair. Fluttershy had wandered off wherever. Twilight wasn't really paying attention. She just knew she had gone. Twilight heard the sound of galloping and turned her head to see what was wrong. Fluttershy was half running, half flying up the beach. She called "TwilightTwilightTwilightTwilight!" "What is it?" "Come quick! Grab the first aid kit!" Without hesitation, Twilight grabbed the first aid kit and rushed after Fluttershy. Twilight was looking out at the water again. The current had washed more of the debris up this side of the shore. Fluttershy must have found something. Fluttershy reached her destination and then turned to Twilight. "Hurry up! Help me!" "What is-" Twilight saw Rainbow Dash. She ran up alongside her and opened the first aid kit. Rainbow would be happy to know her wings were okay, if she were concious. Rainbow must have survived the explosion because of how athletic she was. She probably swam faster than everypony else and made it far enough away from the explosion. Twilight assessed the damages. Rainbow had a gash in her forehead and a piece of plane jammed in her shoulder. Twilight brought out the gauze and began wrapping it around the debris. She had read a first aid book recently and the procedures were still fresh in her mind. Next she placed a large bandage across Rainbow Dash's forehead. Fluttershy was in a daze, she held Rainbow Dash's hoof and whimpered. Twilight quickly turned to the sea and wet a cloth from the first aid kit, cleaning the blood around both wounds. She wanted the bandages on there first, saltwater would burn otherwise. Twilight had finished bandaging up Rainbow Dash. She looked to Fluttershy "Help me carry her to camp." "O-o-o-k-kkay..." Fluttershy sobbed They lifted Rainbow Dash onto each other's backs. They slowly carried her all the way to their makeshift camp. They set Rainbow down on their mat and hoped for the best. Fluttershy took some of her fresh water and soaked an article of clothing. She placed it on Rainbow's head, dabbing for blood. Twilight spoke again "Fluttershy, can you stay and watch Rainbow Dash. I'm going to see if there are any others." "Okay." Twilight galloped up and down the beach. She spotted a few things they needed, including something great. A battery operated phone. Twilight also found scrap pieces of cloth, which they could use as bandages, if need be. She stumbled across something that made her vomit, though. Rarity's leg. She probably isn't alive anymore. Twilight continued up the beach. She tried to think of who could have made it. Applejack definitely had the same athleticism as Rainbow Dash, but there was no sign of her. Pinkie Pie was...random. Her Pinkie sense may have saved her, but there was no real way to tell. Twilight had almost gone halfway around the island before deciding she needed to get back to Fluttershy. On Twilight's way back, she looked at the forest. This seemed like the cliche deserted island with tropical trees and ferns. Twilight spotted a banana tree. She looked up the tree to see if she could find some bananas. There was one whole bunch, with about twelve bananas. This would help them last a little bit longer. Twilight arrived at camp with her bounty. Fluttershy sat, mumbling to Rainbow Dash about something. Twilight couldn't hear what she was saying. Twilight called to Fluttershy "Look what I found!" Fluttershy looked up and a small smile accented her face. Twilight set down the supplies. She tried fiddling with the phone but became very upset. The phone was dead. The batteries were gone. Twilight tossed the phone into the sand in frustration. Fluttershy left Rainbow Dash's side and went to Twilight. She embraced Twilight and began trying to comfort her "There, there, it's okay. Everything's okay." She reached to stroke Twilight's mane. Twilight snapped at her "Dammit Fluttershy! I'm not an animal!" Fluttershy withdrew herself. She left Twilight to go to the shelter. She knelt down inside, facing away from Twilight. Twilight could hear her faint sobs. She ought to apologize to Fluttershy. Maybe later. Twilight eyed their supplies. She took the knife from the pile and headed off into the jungle. ___________________________________________________________________________ Whatever Twilight had found, she had pissed it off. The raging beast flew through the jungle after Twilight. Twilight could now see the shore. The roars of the creature echoed behind her. The beach was just a few steps away. Twilight leapt forward and the beast leapt after her. It tackled her and sent them into a roll. Pinkie Pie ended on top of Twilight. Twilight was suprised to see the pink pony. Pinkie had dressed herself in a fearsome costume. She wore a grass skirt and a ferocious wooden mask. Twilight gasped for air. She had run quite a distance from Pinkie. Twilight managed to get out "Pinkie...why...were you...chasing...me?" "Because you were running, you silly filly!" She hopped off of Twilight. "Isn't this great? We got an island vacation instead of dumb old San Franciscolt!" "Pinkie, did you see any of the others?" "Oh I saw Rarity here and there." Pinkie joked. "Yeah, I don't think she made it off the plane." Twilight almost vomited again at the thought of more pieces of Rarity. "Have you seen Applejack?" "Yeah! She's just like me, enjoying the island. She's lying on the beach, way over there." Pinkie pointed with a hoof off into the distance. "Is she alive?" "I dunno. She looked so peaceful, I didn't want to interrupt her." "Then let's go check." Twilight turned to run down the beach, but then looked back at Pinkie "And get rid of that freaky mask!" "What's wrong with it?" "It's just creepy." Twilight galloped down the beach, spotting Applejack fairly quickly. Applejack was seemingly unharmed, so Twilight chanced trying to wake her "Applejack, Applejack" she shook her gently. Applejack's eyes fluttered open. Pinkie pushed her way in "OOGA BOOGA BOOGA!" She shouted at Applejack. Applejack began to scream "The Devil! The Devil! Celestia save me!". Twilight pushed Pinkie aside. "Applejack it's okay. It's just Pinkie." "Oh mah stars Twilight. Pinkie scared the livin' daylights out of me." "It's okay now. Can you walk?" "Ah think so." Applejack stood up on wobbly legs. Twilight dashed to her side to balance her. "Thanks Twi." She said. They walked back to camp, Applejack leaned heavily on Twilight. At camp, Fluttershy had returned to Rainbow Dash's side. She waved at the returning ponies. Pinkie waved back. "Hey Fluttershy we got Applejack!" "Yes Pinkie, I saw. Is she okay?" "We think so! She isn't dead!" "Oh yes... I saw." Applejack was allowed to fall over onto the mat. "Ah'm mighty thankful fer yer help Twi." "It wasn't a problem." Twilight sat on the mat. She looked out at the sunset. There were now three more mouths to feed. This was a lot easier when it was just her and Fluttershy. They divided up their rations. Food was running low. Twilight would have to venture back out into the jungle tomorrow. The next thing she met probably wouldn't be Pinkie. She hoped nothing else was on this island. The sun sank below the horizon, warmed by the fire, Twilight lay down beside her friends. She pulled out her diary for the next entry. ___________________________________________________________________________ Dear Diary, My friends are all back together. Rainbow Dash is unconscious. She should be fine. We only had one casualty. Tomorrow we are going to build a grave. I'm going to miss Rarity. Tomorrow I'm going back into the jungle. Pinkie Pie offered to go with me. I told her to stay behind and guard Fluttershy and Cripplejack. I hate to put it like that, but Applejack is trying too hard. She wants to help, but she can't. I hope she understands. I also hope there isn't anything unsavory in the jungle. I'd hate to stumble into something's den. ___________________________________________________________________________
Day Three: FrightView OnlineIsland of the LostDay Three: FrightDear Diary, Today I'm going out into the jungle. I don't really know if this is a good idea. ___________________________________________________________________________ Twilight Sparkle woke up early. She hadn't been able to sleep much since the crash. Everypony had been different since the crash. Pinkie had developed quite the gruesome sense of humor. Applejack just doesn't act as strong anymore. Fluttershy had become more and more distant from her friends. Rarity was dead. Rainbow Dash was unconscious. Twilight wondered if she was different in her friends eyes. She didn't feel different, but maybe she didn't notice. Twilight picked up her knife. She cut herself a slice of banana. Pinkie stirred. "What are you doing Twilight?" "Oh I was just-" "Eating our food?" "Pinkie. It's 'our food' and that includes me." "Are you gonna finish that banana?" "Why are you asking so many questions?" "ANSWER ME!" "Yes. I intended to eat the banana." "Okie dokie loki then. As long as you find food today, everything will be fine." Twilight finished eating her banana. Pinkie definitely was acting strange. She would just have to worry about it later. Twilight grabbed her knife in her mouth. She began heading towards the forest. It was dense. The foliage was thick and green. Twilight pushed her way past ferns and other plants into the forest. The inside of the forest was like a massive room. The tree canopy made a roof and the small plants on the ground made a carpet. Twilight felt sticky. She had only been in the forest a few moments, but the humidity was overwhelming. Twilight re-examined that thought. The stickiness was different than that of heat and humidity. It was more like a...spider web. SPIDER WEB!? Twilight panicked. She began to frantically run around. She realized though, that she was a pony, and ponies can't get stuck in spider webs. That's silly. Twilight spotted another banana tree. There were a lot of bananas on it. She began to count and see how many there really were. In total, she counted about twelve bananas. She climbed the tree and cut down the bunches. Why was she climbing a tree? She could have just as easily pulled it down with her magic. She decided she just wanted to use her knife as much as possible. It was her new friend. Twilight carried the banana bunches with her, looking for more food. She wandered deeper into the jungle. The foliage thickened, but not enough to hinder her progress. She persevered through the forest and into what seemed to be the heart. In the distance, a light glinted off of something, catching Twilight's eye. She looked and saw something she wished she had found the first day. A shack. Twilight galloped towards it. The shack was almost empty. There was a bed, a refrigerator and a desk. The shack itself was made of wooden boards that had nearly decayed to the point of collapse. Somepony had lived here. Twilight checked the refrigerator first. She found a total of five bottles of Carrot Cola and a bottle of Buck Daniel's. Twilight wasn't an alcoholic, but after the events that had transpired, she seriously considered becoming one. Twilight looked to the desk. There was a little old journal on it. Twilight flipped it open. Day One: Plane crashed today. Stuck here for Celestia know's how long. I hope my family is okay. As far as I know, I'm the only survivor. I hope somepony finds me. Day Two: Built a shack. This should last me a while. Don't have many supplies. Gonna do some more exploring today. Day Three: There's definitely something out here. I heard it. I'm scared...I hope somepony finds me soon. I wont last. Day Four: I saw it. It tried to get me, but I got away. Please Celestia. Have mercy on this poor soul. The journal entries ended there. Twilight was on edge now. Something was out here. She knew it. She grabbed the closest thing to her and retreated from the forest. Twilight came out on the beach. Pinkie Pie was waiting for her. "Alcohol? That's not food Twilight. Are you gonna pull your weight around here?" "No Pinkie, I-" "No? Then I'm sorry Twilight, but you'll just have to leave." "What? Leave? Where would I go?" "Wherever you have your booze stash." Twilight began to tear up "Pinkie...are you...serious?" "Serious is the new me Twilight. Fun and games died in a plane crash." Pinkie had gotten serious. It was frightening. The others were all either distracted or asleep. Nopony to jump to Twilight's rescue. Twilight had a plan though, she would stay near the camp in case rescue came, but not so far that she couldn't make it in time. Twilight left the camp. She returned hurriedly to the shack and picked up all the supplies she left, including the cot from the bed. Twilight decided to settle further up the beach where they couldn't see her. ___________________________________________________________________________ Dear diary, Today I become lost. Without my friends, what am I? I have my knife. I thought something strange earlier. Would anypony notice if Fluttershy vanished? She has been fairly distant...She doesn't hang around camp, she wanders up the west coast every now and then. I could always use more food... ___________________________________________________________________________ Twilight got another early start. The thoughts in her mind...they weren't sane. She knew it, but disregarded her conscience. She hated them. They don't want her anymore. Fuck friendship. Survival. If anypony found out, she would kill them too. But what was she thinking? Twilight was not a murderer. She couldn't hurt Fluttershy. Could she? Another horrible thought echoed wait and see. What was wrong with her? Twilight continued thinking. A dangerous thing to do for somepony on the precipice of insanity. Fuck reasoning. There was nothing wrong with Twilight. She didn't need to look at their point of view, she was the only one that mattered. Would the Princess worry about any of them? No. Only Twilight. Twilight was her star student. Everypony else could go die. Twilight picked up the knife and headed down the beach. Fluttershy was out of Pinkie's line of sight. This would be easy. Twilight slipped up behind her. She held the knife with her magic. She hovered over Fluttershy. She still hadn't been noticed. Twilight moved in closer. She was almost directly behind Fluttershy. She snatched the knife out of the air and held it in both hooves. She reared up for an ending strike and-
Day Four: RescueView OnlineIsland of the LostDay Four: RescueDear Diary, I couldn't. I thought I could end a pony's life. What's wrong with me? Am I some kind of animal? ___________________________________________________________________________ Twilight had retreated to her own camp. She had given up on her friends. They didn't even notice she was gone. That really hurt. What if... That was it! Twilight had a brilliant idea to get back in with her friends. The batteries from the emergency radio could be salvaged and put back into the mobile phone! It was brilliant! Twilight gave herself a pat on the back for coming up with the idea. Twilight rushed over to the original camp. Pinkie wasn't there. She was probably out looking for food. Around the camp, Pinkie had fashioned a fence made out of spears she had carved. Twilight entered the camp slowly. She approached Fluttershy. "Fluttershy." She whispered. Fluttershy jumped a little, hearing Twilight's voice. "I need your help Fluttershy. Do you still have the emergency radio?" "Well...Yes, but it's broken." "Where is it?" "Right here." "Open it up." "Why?" "I need the batteries." "Are...are you gonna call for help?" "Yeah. Remember the mobile phone we found? And how it needed batteries?" "Yeah! Here, take them. We can finally go home!" Twilight heard a different voice. "We can." Twilight turned to see the pink pony. "Pinkie, I-" "I told you to leave. This is our mobile phone. These are our batteries. THIS IS OUR ESCAPE!" "Pinkie...what are you saying?" "I'm saying find your own way off. You're dead to me." Fluttershy meekly defended Twilight "But Pinkie...she's our friend." "Not anymore. If you try to help her again, you're staying here too." Fluttershy shut up. Twilight was going to be left here. Nopony could help her. "Hey! Buck off!" Rainbow Dash had woken up. She had heard Pinkie's threats, and didn't like them. "Rainbow Dash! You're alright!" "Don't play dumb, I heard everything." Rainbow began speaking with a threatening tone "I think maybe we should leave without you." "You're kidding! Why would anypony leave without good ol' lovable Pinkie Pie?" "I'm serious. Twilight, do you have anything you need to retrieve before we dump this bright pink bitch?" Twilight responded "Yeah. I don't think I'm gonna leave her with my knife." Twilight began galloping towards her camp. She ran across the sand, occasionally looking back to make sure that RD and Fluttershy were okay. Twilight arrived at her camp and retrieved some food and her knife. The sun glinted off a glass bottle. Twilight picked up the bottle in frustration and threw it into the ocean. Satisfied with herself, she returned to Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. She galloped excitedly. We're going home she thought. When she arrived at the camp, Fluttershy was crying and Rainbow Dash had a sort of flabbergasted look on her face. Twilight wondered what was wrong. When she approached the trio, Pinkie grinned at her. "We made the call Twilight." "Really?" "Yep! I called them and impersonated a fishing pony." She began to do the impression "'You guys know about that plane crash, right? I just drove past the crash site. It don't look like there was any survivors.'" Pinkie began giggling. "Pinkie! You screwed over everypony! Nopony can get off the island now, they think we're all dead!" "I know! Isn't it great? Spending the rest of our natural lives together. One big, injured, scarred, and broken family. Oh yeah, and dead. I forgot about Rarity." she whispered to the sky "Sorry Rarity. Still friends? Great!" "Where did the phone go?" "The ocean! It looked awfully parched, so is sent it for a swim!" Twilight was now also flabbergasted. Pinkie had betrayed everypony to get back at Twilight. This was all Twilight's fault. No, Twilight thought I'm done taking the blame. This is HER fault!. In a fit of rage, Twilight raised the knife and plunged it into Pinkie's eye. Pinkie's body spasmed as she bled to death. The shocked look in her eyes, that took the cake. She didn't even see it coming. Twilight rolled the body towards the ocean and gave her one final sendoff. Pinkie's body floated away. Rainbow Dash called out to Twilight "Look! A fishing boat!". Twilight turned around and saw a fishing boat, passing their camp. The captain saw them and stopped. "Are you all survivors of that crash!?" he yelled at the top of his lungs. Twilight replied "Yes! Can you help us!? We have injured!" "I'm coming!" Twilight was then smiling harder than ever before. She galloped over to Fluttershy. "Hey Fluttershy, one quick thing, what's wrong with Applejack?" she said, motioning to the now unconscious farmer. "Oh umm...Pinkie...hit her with a stick...and knocked her out..." "Oh." Twilight said, stunned. "Can you help me move her?" "Yes." Fluttershy approached the farmer, but then asked Rainbow Dash "Can you walk?" "I might just need to lean on somepony." "Then let's go." Fluttershy had picked up Applejack with Twilight and had scooted closer to Rainbow so she could lean against her. Rainbow, Twilight, Applejack, and Fluttershy all headed towards the beach, where the fisherman had gotten close enough for them to board. They got on the boat and thanked the captain. He nodded his head and returned to the steering wheel. They lurched forward and off towards the maneland. ___________________________________________________________________________ Dear Diary, We are going home. We return with two less friends, but one of those could not be helped. I regret killing Pinkie, but maybe it was the right thing to do. She had been different, she may have broke. I don't know for sure, but now I never will. I can live with the guilt.
