Cupid: Arrival

Twilight was siting on her couch in the library, working on yet another essay to the princess celestia. Until of coarse several knocks came from outside the door.

"Its unlocked," twilight stated.

The door creaks open to reveal the ruler of equestria herself. Her mane flowing under its own gravity, looking as regal as ever.

"Oh... princess cel..." the princess cut twilight off mid sentence.

"Oh twilight, Lulu and I talked and were going to drop the title. Just call me celestia now."

"Ok pri...I mean celestia, I'm almost ready with that ess..." twilight's words were drowned out by a large werrrrrrrrrrr accompanied by a white light that grew ever brighter. The two mares clamped there eyes shut to prevent going blind. Through all of this a defining Thud came from twilight's right. As the light dimmed and the buzz faded. The girls opened there eyes to find a weird creature propped against the wall, unconscious.

"What in taratus, is,THAT?"

"I don't know twilight,"

"SPIKE!"

"What?"spike, bairly conscious himself, stummled down the stairs.

"Call the girls and Luna down here," she said slowly creeping up to the foreign creature.

"Whatever," spike mummbled. Obviously he didn't see the creature himself. Spike just grabbed the quill and parchment, jotted down a quick letter. Then sent it before returning to his bed.

Two hours later

Cupids pov

'Uhh...' Cupid groaned. A severe pain pulsing in his scull. He attempted to get up, only to flop back onto the cushions he rested on. Opening one eye to obeserve his surroundings, only to be greeted by eight pairs of eyes staring right at him.

"Uhh, hi," Cupid said before being barated with questions.

"Who are you? What are you? Why are you here? A..."

"Listen love, you go get me an ice pack and I'll be glad to explain everything." The purple equine stepped into the kitchen and walked out levitating an ice pack. "Thank you. now to answer your questions. Cupid, A god, and I was assigned to your speicies."

"There are other species?"

"yes. some better than others, but out there. now who might you be?"

"twilight."

cupid pulled out a notepad and scribbled some notes down.

"Pleasure to meet you, I'm Cupid."

"Cupid, great to see you." The tall white one spoke.

"What?" Cupid said confused.

"It's me, Celest."

"Oh, Celest! How have you been?"

"I've been well. How are things in Asgard?"

"Boring as ever."

"Guff."

Twilight just sat there baffled.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Cupid and I were good buddies back in Asgard."

"Oh ok. That makes more sense."

"Well, if you girls don't mind. I'm going to go and familiarize myself with this place."

"Oh. Oh. Ill show you around. We can gototownhallandthentothebakerytomeetpumpkinandpoundohyou'lllovepumpkinandpound..."the pink one started talking a mile a minute.

"Woah woah woah. Slow down. I could use a showfurr."

"Wait. You cant just go out there. The town will freak." The shorter white one said. Which make Cupid smirk.

"Mistake number one. Never doubt me." Cupid snapped his fingers, and in a puff of smoke the small, slender God disappeared, and was replaced by a pony. He had a pale pink coat and a pink mane with white highlights, and had two hearts intertwining as a cutie mark.

"Tada."

"Come on." The enthusiastic pink pony urged. The two left the building without another word.
