When You Say Nothing At All

"Pftblb?" I pleaded in a raspberry. Austin could understand, and assured me that I couldn't have any Monster Energy. That sucked, Austin was still treating me like a fluffy little baby. I sat there on the couch, and waited for him to fall asleep. He eventually did when I snuggled up to him. "Pftblllbbbllbbp..." I said to myself. I meant to say "Works every time...". No one else was awake, this was my chance to get some Monster! Little did I realize, I was going to pay a price.

I couldn't help myself! I drank so much Monster that I went on an all out sugar rush! I was playing basketball all morning. Austin was asleep the whole time, and I hoped that he didn't wake up. But, the ball somehow got high enough to hit the unroofed tree house, making a loud bang! Of course, Austin awoke, and he came outside to see me. On an all-out sugar rush, playing basketball. "Jade? What did I say about the Monster?" He reminded me. I lowered my head and looked up at him.

"Aww, I can't stay mad at you, baby," He said, picking up my fluffy body, carrying me to the couch, sitting me down. "Just don't go back out there,". He added. I nodded when a thought came to mind. Not even bothering to try and talk normally, I wrote down a question, and carried it over to Austin. How will I go to school? I wrote.

"Looks like you won't be going for a few days, maybe a few weeks, babe," He said, observing the note. I dropped the note, and squeaked with joy! He smiled and petted my head. I decided to be my usual Fluffle Puff self. I always was when I was human, so why not? Austin was the one I would cuddle with on the couch, kiss up in the tree house when too much of his or my family was around, and fall asleep with when we watched something boring. Why should being a fluffy pony make it any different?

That afternoon, his parents woke up, to see me, sitting next to Austin. Jordie, his mother, asked him where I was. After a long explaining, Jordie  just shrugged and yelled for Brad, Austin's dad. Brad was questioning Austin a little too much, and I just trotted into Ella's room, and slept on her bed.

After a few minutes, Austin came in Ella's room and picked me up, and carried me back in the living room. He sat me down, and smiled. "You okay, baby?" He asked me. I nodded and he petted me. "Wanna go into my room? We can play Assassin's Creed Black Flag," He added. I gasped and scurried into his room. He laughed and followed me.

After three hours of killing guards, we finally stopped and just got bored, and wound up snuggling on his bed. I hugged him the whole time, and he stroked my back. I couldn't wait to get back to my human form, so I could actually kiss him again! But he'd kiss me anyway! He was a boy that knew how to treat a girl, even if she was a pony. I was happy and lucky, I couldn't have asked for someone better to be with!

It was late that night, I just wanted to be human so bad. It's like Austin was trying to tempt me by taking off his shirt for the whole night! It worked, I was tempted, but I made myself refuse. Austin enjoyed all of my refusal, because he claimed I had "hilarious" reactions. I asked him if we could just go to bed, and he responded between laughs, "Sure,".

He held me close, like someone protecting their baby. I didn't care what my mind let me picture, I was happy, and so was Austin. It couldn't have been more sweet! He whispered in my ear, "I'll protect you, my Fluffle Puff,". I smiled in my sleep evidently,  because he said, "Yeah, you like that,".
