Missing 3/5 of a Flower
In Which, Yoshi Does Even MORE Stuff! Yay!
Previous ChapterIn Which, Yoshi Does Even MORE Stuff! Yay!
Darkness.
Darkness that filled the sky with a void of lost hope and the dying spark of salvation. Darkness that spread across the peaceful plains of innocent lives that once stood happy and free…but now have fallen into the controlling hands of a vile monster that feed off of their misery, their broken spirits, and their very life force. Chaos and anarchy, dominance and control, and finally, supreme power; these are the main fortes of the demonic creature’s signature key characteristic of purpose, personality, and desire. A world that was once pure and peaceful now under the eternal supremacy of Queen Miss Cheerilee.
…however, not every ounce of hope was truly lost.
One being stands before the evil pony fiend with all the valor of a living testament of purity. This being was the only known force that was the opposite of the depraved Miss Cheerilee’s ambition and traits. Yoshi was the yin to the queen’s yang, the light that responded to the darkness.
The two embodiments of opposite prowess traded blows after blows with one another. Each of their hits struck with a force that rattles the landscapes. Their auras clashed countless times, shattering the sound barrier into silent hollows of the gushing winds. The flow of water churns into giant waves of tsunamis from the resulting aftermath of shockwaves. Tornados form on a number of occasions and thunder and lightning will struck, only adding to the visual of devastation that’s taking place in this battle of good versus evil.
Both powerful beings stood at a stand-off, physically worn out during the fight. The vile demon’s equine features, once battered and appallingly, now rapidly rejuvenating her reddish and violet body back to fit conditions. Yoshi was struck with silent fury as he stares at the conceited expression of the fiendish queen as it healed to perfect health. A sudden fact of realization was drawn upon him that made the burning sensation within the heart of his fighting spirit roar ever brighter:
Queen Miss Cheerilee has possessed ultimate power…WITH THE HELP FROM THE THREE FLOWERS!!!
Reaching deep within himself for that intense growing power, Yoshi howled as he summoned all of his strength. Radiating with hues of a red aura, his body went through a metamorphous, metallic plates and padding’s formed on the green reptile’s features. He refuses to submit to defeat and immediately rush towards the demon queen with a sudden burst of immense hidden power. A deep burning sensation uprooted and spreads throughout his newly refurbish armored body…
Yoshi’s fist…it glows with an awesome power. Its burning grip tells him to defeat her! With this one move, he’s about to give everything he’s got!
His love.
His anger.
And all of his hunger!
Yoshi unleashed his ultimate technique, the Shining Finger Swo-
“Jolly hoo, good sir!” A sudden juvenile British-like voice sounded.
Yoshi shot his head up at attention. He found himself sitting on a desk within the interior of the classroom surrounded by ‘succu-pony-whatever foals’ and not having a epic battle with ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’ as his imagination has dwelled him into believing. It happens from time to time, whenever Yoshi gets really bored…or hungry.
Just take a wild guess at what he’s feeling the most.
Realizing that someone pretty much called out to him and paying further attention that said someone was actually right in front of him, our reptilian hero, dawn in his ‘demon-pony’ disguise, was face to face with that whitish and brown spots of a ‘hell spawn’ that almost catcher him during his second attempt to sneak into this building. However, Yoshi got away safely and DID NOT fell into a conveniently placed trap filled with deadly fireworks and DID NOT scream like a little girl while getting launch into the sky and exploded.
That did not happen.
Nuh uh.
Having his stretchy neck place back to proper length (it was amazing that nobody else acknowledged this), Yoshi saw that the rest of the class had formed a line in front of his desk. Some of them seem to whisper to one another, some of them were holding stiff giggles, and other just merely stares awkwardly at him.
Yoshi narrow his eyes at this display and kept his guard up. For all he knows this is probably a common ritual formation of a defense line up, which will-
“I say, it’s nice to meet another fellow transfer pony that’s from out of town!” The cream color and brown-spotted little ‘succu-foal’ continues to say, interrupting Yoshi’s theatrical thinking.
…or their just merely greeting him…
Yoshi is still keeping his guard up.
“My name is Pipsqueak, but you can simply refer to as Pip like everypony else!” The one know as the ‘Pipsqueak’ or the ‘Pip’-- whatever-- walked away to his assign desk when he was done.
The disguise reptile couldn’t help but notice how the ‘Pipsqueaky’ will stare at him in a way that made Yoshi uncomfortable. You know that type of look you’ll see on a stalkers face or someone that wants to get close to you? The little ‘succu-foal’ went as far as to give a short wave and an even cheekier smile.
Yoshi has deduced that the ‘Pip Squeak’ is the dangerous out of the bunch and made a mental note to add his name on Yoshi’s hit list.
The next to come was kind of a clone of the ‘Creepy Squeaker’ that came first, but minus the pirate outfit, a little taller and skinner, has wings, and-- beyond Yoshi’s understanding-- has a imprinted feather on its butt. Perhaps this ‘four leg demon’ absorbed a feather to gain wings or something? It worked for Mario…according to his cousin, Green Yoshi.
“Hey there, the names Featherweight! Nice to meet you!” The ‘Featherweight’ introduce before going back to his seat.
“Hiya! Mi-yah names ish Twist!” The one known as the ‘Twist’ nearly made the disguise reptile’s head spin out of place once he hears her speaking method. She was a normal looking ‘succu-foal’ with a cream color body and red hair. She also wore glasses and, judging from the two candy cane marks that she possessed into her body, Yoshi will naturally assume she has gain power over candy canes. Since when did Yoshi’s Island have candy canes? “Mi-yah fool name ish auctional-ly Peppermint Twist, but all ov’ mi-yah freends crawll meh Twist!”
Yoshi understood 1/5 of the first half of her words. Thankfully, she didn’t say anymore and went away. His brain can barely decrypt what she said (Yoshi’s brain can barely decrypt the differences between the words ‘blue’ and ‘blew’).
There were still many more of these students lined up at Yoshi’s desk. Some of them were eager to introduce themselves, while a small few were caring less. Yoshi, to say the least, was nearly mind blown on discovering that these little devils have their own personality. At first he thought he’ll be facing mindless drones that can formulate battle tactics and nothing else. The one thing that got him the most was their names…which were laughable. They each have some pretty dumb sounding names that they like to prefer themselves to be called. Rumble, Snails, Button Mash-- really?-- Diamond Tiara, Truffle Shuffle-- are you serious? Truffle Shuffle? It’s almost as if these names where thought up right on the go.
Heck, Yoshi can make up some names to; like…uh, Tinfoil or…Happy Face…um, Sunshine and Rainbows. Or maybe something even stupider like, like ‘Fluttershy’. Yeah, Fluttershy! Now that’s a stupid sounding name. Yoshi manage to control himself from laughing out loud. He can only imagine a ‘what if’ scenario if he actually met or came across one of these creatures named ‘Fluttershy’.
He’ll have a field day.
While there are about three left to introduce themselves, Yoshi practically ignored them as his eyes swung over towards his archenemy. His greatest adversary. The one being that shall regret for ever messing with his island home, shaming the Yoshi clan name, and for, most importantly, STEALING. HIS. FLOWERS.
His #2 nemesis (Yellow Yoshi will always forever be his #1 Top Hated), ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’! Yoshi lightly shook his head in disgust once his innocent eyes lay upon on such a…a…monster! Just look at her, slouch over and laying her head on that mahogany crafted desk of hers, like she’s tired or something. Yoshi’s no fool. He knows an act when he sees it. The only reason why he’s not going all Rambo style all over her was because of this one simple fact…
Yoshi was smarter. Yes, he took the most intelligent approach to observed and watched these ‘demon-pony’ creatures, gathering as much information as possible, understanding their lifestyle, and knowing their strength and weaknesses!
…kind of…
Sort of…
Maybe…
No.
However, he does know how powerful ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’ is and what her abilities are very capable of. As much as the green reptile wanted to just rush in there and throw an iron shelled egg at her face, like any other bad guy, he clearly foresaw that her seemingly vulnerable position was nothing more than deception. She can easily crush him if he was to just attack, as evidently cleared by the floral markings under her influence. But thanks to Yoshi’s masterful mind, his disguise was like a camouflage, making his true identity invisible to the queen’s and the other’s eyes and senses.
It wasn’t called ‘Brilnius’ for nothing (……just throwing it out there, Yoshi was dropped on his head when he was a baby. A lot.).
Finally, the last of the little nuisances have left him alone. As amusing these creatures characteristic’s are, Yoshi needed to focus on his mission. He needs to find a way to stop ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’s’ invasion plan. But how exactly? Before the green reptile could plan his next move, he was instantly at attention when the red-violet color ‘succu-pony queen’ shifted in her position. She glances at all of her little soldiers before stopping directly at him. The disguise Yoshi barely manages to holdback a shiver running up his spine. He can see the malice reflecting from her green eyes almost covered by her messy pink hair. Her expression was the upmost disinterested, such features as expected from an evil queen. Yoshi has to constantly remind himself why he’s risking his life to retrieve his three Flowers. It was so he can finally win a Bonus Challenge!!
Oh, and save the world.
‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’ let loose a heavy groan before speaking. “So…now tha’ dah classh ‘ave given there pleasen-- pleeoss-- monkey-- Ugh! ’Said hi’, now wee can mov’ah on ta dah weirdo’s turn…” She rubs her forehead with a hoof while hearing most of the class made short laughter. Impatiently, ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’ gave the disguise Yoshi an aggravated stare. “Welp? Geth up, shand ‘en front ov’ dah classh and intoe’duce yoo’self al’veady! Grosh!” She demanded in a slurring tone.
Yoshi begrudgingly and slowly got out of his seat as more laughter from the class erupted. If our dino-dragon hero wanted to stay incognito and not blow his cover, then he’ll have no choice but to act apart. He’ll play along with her demands until he finds out more about her plans. Yoshi eyed the ‘queen’ carefully as he maneuvered next to her desk on his hands and feet. Taking her out of his eyesight for a moment, the green reptile faces the judgmental stares of the whole class of ‘demon foals’. He couldn’t help but feel…nervous. This scenario has greatly reminded him of his childhood.
It was year 1 in Yoshster Kindergarten all over again…
English wasn’t Yoshi’s strong suit, but he needs to try if he wants to continually fool everypony and learn more about this invasion. Just introduce yourself? Simple enough.
He cleared his throat with a leather-fur hand. “Ah…murr mame…muaaa ummarrree-”
…its…its Yoshi’s method to warm up…
“M-m-mmm-- Me!…Yoshi!” He manages to introduce.
Our hero sighed in relief and grew a triumph smirk of accomplishment. That was too easy. This whole English language speaking thing isn’t so-
“Where ya from?”
What? Huh? Who just-- Yoshi quickly follow the voice leading to a yellow ‘succu-foal’ wearing a pink bow smiling politely at him.
“Ya’ll ah transfer pony right? Whut part o’ Equestria did ya’ll came from?” The ‘Applebloom’, as he recalls, inquired.
Yoshi can feel the sweat forming underneath the leather material. The only place he knows from this world is that dark forest and the portal to his island home. He never took the time to learn anything about locations...implying if he actually cared in the first place. Okay, okay, this isn’t too bad. Yoshi decided to play his trump card whenever he’s in a difficult situation; ‘Push his Luck’.
“Oog Out…baaaw yo, yo There!” Yoshi made a few random gestures and hand movements before pointing out the window. The whole class looked at him in confusion.
“Are you stupid or something?” Spoke the one known as the ‘Diamond Tiara’ after a moment of pause. She then shook her head, waving one of her legs in dismissal. “Actually, don’t answer that. It’s pretty obvious.”
Again, the class of these vile creatures laughed. It was like taking a punch in the gut. How dare these ‘demon spawns’ mock Yoshi! He bet it wouldn’t be so funny once he reveals that he’s their executioner and sabotage their plan.
The disguise reptile heard ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’ snorted. “Ovh great, wee’ve got’sh ah comedian. Wonda’ful…” He picked up on her silent voice but refuses to look back and stay focus.
“Oh, c’mon guys don’t be so mean to the new colt.” Announced a light-purple color and blond hair horned girl ‘demon’ that Yoshi didn’t bother to learn the name of. It was probably something dumb anyways, like ‘Smallfry’ or ‘Little Head’…or ‘Dinky’. “It doesn’t matter if Yoshi talks…um, kinda different, we should all be friendly and give a warm welcome!”
“Yeah, you’re right. We’re sorry, Yoshi.” Apologies the ‘Scootaloo’.
“We all ‘ave up en’ got’ten carried away. We’re sorry.” The ‘Applebloom’ also apologies.
Yoshi was…touch. He didn’t expect that some of these ‘bloodthirsty monsters’ were willing to stick up for him. The green reptile grew-up with a tough childhood, to say the least. It almost saddens him that he has to annihilate the seemingly innocent faces of these little creatures.
Almost.
“I say, perhaps our fine friend, Yoshi, is demonstrating in a fun game of Charades!” Chirped in the ‘Pipsqueaky’. “It’s one of my favorite games! Mum and pa’ play it with me all the time.”
“Whoopie-freakin-doo…” Again, Yoshi faintly heard the queen muttered. This time he glances over for a second and saw her gobble down what looks like oddly shape candy in a bottle. He turned away with a light shudder. It’s going to take more than just fuzzies to burn that image away.
“I’ll have all you fillies and gentlecolt’s know that I am the best guesser with illustrating motion play.” He explains. “How about I translate what our good chum here is trying to describe? Sounds quite easy than talking, wouldn’t you all say?”
The whole class agreed and the pirate outfit wearing ‘succu-pony’ stood at attention on his desk, ready for Yoshi to start. Our dino-dragon hero smirked under his mask. The ‘Push your Luck’ resort works every time. No longer need to worry about speaking out of his native language, Yoshi can easily make up a simple lie about his home with a brief demonstration of body motions and the ‘Squeaky Pippy’ will kindly translate it all. This was too easy.
Yoshi got in position. He proceeded to make gestures and motions that says; ’Yoshi lives far away at a big village.’
“Okay…our friend here is saying; ‘Yoshi…lives…in a big…Dung!” The pirate outfit wearing ‘demon’ translated enthusiastically.
Yoshi froze in-place. He can hear the class snickering audibly. He shot a glare at the whitish and brown-spotted creature before shaking his head no and tried again.
“Oh pardon me; I appeared to have gotten it mixed up.” The ‘Squeaker Pipper’ concentrated as Yoshi illustrated more gestures. “Ah, I see! It’s not ‘Dung’. Yoshi is actually saying; ‘A big Bungaloo’! My word, that’s quite a strange place…”
The whole class erupts into laughter. They couldn’t help themselves, even their ruling ‘Queen’ joined in. That statement alone was just too stupidly ridiculous, even more so compare to Yoshi’s appearance made it seem more factual.
Yoshi groaned loudly as he facepalmed. This is going to be a long day…
============================
Meanwhile; at Sweet Apple Arcs…
“Ya’ll youngins’ care fo’ some lemonade?”
“Sure thing, Ms. Smith!” Spike said cheerfully as he accepted one of the tall glasses.
“Oh, sugarcube, jus’ call me Granny.” The elder lime-green pony insisted as she passes the last batch next to Twilight Sparkle. “No need fo’ dat being formal hooey. Ya’ll family tah us Apples aft’ah all.”
“Thank you Ms-- er, Granny!” The lavender Alicorn quickly corrected herself with a wide smile.
She hesitated for a second before taking a small gulp from her glass. It felt kind of strange for Granny Smith to serve lemonade instead of the usual apple juices or the different variety of ciders. But then again it’s that very reason why she, along with Spike, is here to resolve the issues at hoof. With the orchard depraved of apples her friend Applejack, along with her family, will suffer greatly with the results of that lost. All because of a fiendish creature lurking around Ponyville causing trouble.
“And don’t worry” Twilight reassure the old mare. “We will get to the bottom of this mess. Whatever it was that trespassed on your property and eaten all of your apples, we’ll take care of it once we catch it.”
“Yep, we’ll catcher it with no problem and give it a well deserve punishment.” The baby purple dragon added. He then clenched a fist and punches it into his open palm. “I think a good ‘ol fashion beaten is in order!” Spike, getting a little overzealous, leaped off his seat and onto the table. He almost topple over the glasses of sweet lemonade as he demonstrated the ‘beat down’ he’ll lay upon the monster for wreaking havoc on Ponyville, the Apple family’s farm, and Rarity’s house. Especially Rarity…
Spike gave a small yelp as he was lifted off the table by Twilight’s telekinesis and place back on the chair. She stared at him disapprovingly. “Spike! That’s no way to behave!” She chided.
Granny Smith gave a hearty laugh. “Oh naw, Twi, ya’ll don’ gots tah be harsh on da youngin’! Boys will be boys, as da sayin’ goes.” The elder lime-green mare walks over to her nearby rocking chair and seated herself down, slowly rocking in place. “Why, back in meh younger days, ah rememb’ah a good friend o’ mine. Billy ‘Goatee’ Goat was his name, always gettin’ in’ta trouble, he does. Many o’ da town folks didn’t approve much, but it was soon looked O’pon as just ah’tention. Nev’ah once dat…once dat….zzzZZZzzz…”
And just like that, Granny Smith has entered early into dream world.
Twilight Sparkle and Spike looked at each other and gave a sheepish shrugged before getting back to work. The young lavender princess has brought along some needed materials to help with the situation. A few quills and ink, a map of Equestria and Ponyville with pinpoints, notepads and various papers, and a book or two.
Twilight took another sip from her glass while observing the layouts of Ponyville’s locations, along with the footnotes of information that Pinkie Pie had receive from the local eyewitnesses. “Hmm…this is just so strange…” She rubbed her chin, trying to find a pattern or, hopefully, a place that hasn’t been inspected. “From what I can understand, whoever or whatever is out there seems to be going to random locations, according to the time and place that any witness has given.”
“So what you’re saying our troublemaking crook is…umm…” Spike glanced at Twilight in confusion. “…wh-what is it that you’re saying?”
The young princess sighed heavily and just shrugged. “I don’t know.” She admitted with a slight head shake. “The creature-- or creatures, if that is the possibility-- movements aren’t entirely clear. It’s just all…random, like it’s just simply targeting any place of residents.” Twilight sag back in her seat with her eyes momentarily closed. “I can’t trace it with these notes, especially when there are so little witnesses. The only major lead we’ve gotten is from Thunderlane, when he was kind-of sort-of assaulted. He claimed that it looked like a dinosaur-doggy type animal. The only known specimen of creatures in Equestria that will match such a description will be the Dragons.”
“I’m not sure about the dog part, but what if it really is a dinosaur?” The juvenile purple reptile suggested. “I mean, what if their all returning back to life, walking around as bones and eventually will reclaim Equestria as their primal home again!”
Twilight stared at Spike for a whole 5 seconds. “Spike I swear, despite my best intentions, you’re getting dumber every day.”
“This is coming from the pony…who blocked out the sun…for the entirety of last year’s Summer Sun Celebration.” Spike smugly retorted.
“It. Was. By. Accident!” The lavender princess stressed each word through gritted teeth. This was before she became an Alicorn, and to keep a long story short, Princess Celestia wasn’t too happy with that incident, an incident that Twilight so dearly wishes to forget. “I was trying to create a new spell; I ran through the formula several times, it all looked well coordinated-“
Twilight continues to grumble bitterly to herself over the whole ordeal. It was put to an end when the frontdoor of the Apple Family’s house open to reveal Applejack and Pinkie Pie coming inside. The pink mare is wearing an old fashion detective costume; complete with a fedora and a smoke pipe, but the smoke is replace with bubbles instead.
None of the three individuals questioned this.
Their other friend, Rarity, would have been there with them to assist, but she was too busy refurbishing her boutique for the time being.
Twilight narrowed her eyes at her number 1 assistant and poked his scaly stomach. “This isn’t over.” She hopped off her seat to interact with her two best friends. Spike got his trollface on. “So, any luck with you girls?”
“Does bits grow on trees?” Pinkie Pie replied in an indifferent and serene characteristic manner. She slowly waltz around the room, little bubbles temporarily filter over her head as she blew in her pipe. For some reason, the atmosphere around the seemingly serious pink pony grew grey and monotonous. “Have Princess Celestia finally submitted to a balance cake-free diet? Is there really proof of a cure for cancer? My dear lass, all of these questions and more lead to an incongruous puzzle. A puzzle that, by its own rights, will remain ambiguous to everypony who remains seeking for the keys to the ‘what’, the ‘where’, or even the ‘why’. However...” She turned, facing her friends with nearly shallow eyes. “Ignore the false indications and the correct path leads to what really matters, the ‘when’.” Pinkie concluded and blow more bubbles.
Meanwhile, the other three stood and stare as they absorb all of that nonsense. Twilight could have sworn about half of her brain cells depleted themselves.
Being the first to recover, Applejack vigorously shook her head before properly answering the lavender pony’s question. “We search all ov’ah da arcs head tah toe, Twi. No clues or any’thang in sight. Nothing!” The farm pony mare stomped a hoof on the wooden floor in aggravation. “…whut ‘bout ya’ll? Dem notes helpin’ any?”
“It seems our mysterious friend has a way staying inconspicuous.” Twilight explained.
Hot air huffed out of Applejack’s flared nostrils. “Dat, thing, ani’t no friend of mine! When ah get meh hooves on whutev’ah it is out dere, Ah’ll personally introduce it tah meh good close friends, ‘Bucky McGillycuddy’ an’ ‘Kicks McGee’. Twice.”
“You and me both, AJ!” Spike included, punching the air for empathies. “I’ll give that criminal the ‘ol one-two!”
“Okay, okay, you two.” The young Alicorn princess raises both of her hooves in order to settle the tension down. “Let’s calm down and not get over our heads. Even if we did catch it, we don’t know how exactly dangerous it could be. It took out an entire orchard and is barely detectable. Who knows, maybe there are more than one of those things.”
“Hmmm.” Pinkie Pie interjected, blowing in her pipe. “It would seem an anomaly have taken its roots, my dear companions. I dare say, the reality of the situation has now been replace with false realism, but-“ The orange Earth pony quickly swipe the hat off of Pinkie’s head. “Heeeeey!” She whines, breaking out of her character, which is putting her back into character.
…wat?
“It’s a shame you girls no longer have the Element’s of Harmony.” Spoke the baby dragon, getting back on topic. “That would have given us the edge to stop this creature if things get out of control.”
“Yeah, I know.” Twilight said solemnly. “But we have no choice, the Tree of Harmony needed to be saved. Besides…even if we did, we are still missing one bearer in order to use them…”
“Fluttershy gone missin’…” Applejack answered. “It ani’t right fo’ dat mare tah just up an’ disappeared. Ah’ma bettin’ dat creature gots somethin’ tah do with it. Fo’ all we know, da vermin probably trapped her in a encase prison or somethin’ an’ haul her off in da Everfree.”
For some reason, this reminded Pinkie Pie of ‘Eggy’.
“I hope not, AJ. That is the last thing I wanted to think about. There’s no telling what lies or what’s happening in the Everfree Forest.” Twilight walked over back to the table and glance over the various footnotes and papers of information. “Hopefully Rainbow Dash will return soon and as quickly as possible once my letter reaches her. Until then, let’s plan out our next move so we can be prepared to find and catcher this thing.”
“Oh! Oh! But what if it’s so hard to locate because it’s disguise as a pony?!” Pinkie Pie exclaimed as she bounce in-place. “It could be walking among us, even as we speak! It could have, like, Changeling magic and can easily elude us without a problem, going to all of our parties, eating at the local restaurant, or even-“ the pink mare gasped extra loud. ”or even going to SCHOOL!!!”
“I seriously doubt that, Pinkie.” The lavender princess reassured with a small wave. “If the creature does have that type of magic, than it wouldn’t be so reckless to expose itself so often. Speaking of Changelings, l seriously doubted it would have been any; as I already stated they wouldn’t reveal themselves so carelessly. Besides, they all disappeared to never be heard from again ever since Shining’s and Cadance’s wedding in Canterlot.”
“But what about the comic book adaptations when Chrysalis returns for her revenge?”
Twilight opened her mouth to question, but then thought better and decided to drop it. “…anyways, there’s a zero possibility that this mysterious creature will hide in a school full of fillies and colts, especially with Cheerilee there. Honestly, we would have gotten a huge commotion by then. There’s no way it’s going to be there.”
=================================
Our heroic green reptile sat in his assigned desk surrounded by his enemies, his fists balled-up on his face. Yoshi couldn’t possibly get anymore humiliated. The outcome to demonstrate an excuse to where he lives led to a lot of complications. Yoshi lost count on the number of times that the ’Pippy’ had to translate through a method of Charades without the need for him to speak. The whole room of ‘succu-foals’ where having the time of their lives with the constant mislead guessing from their pirate outfitted companion. At the end, ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’ settles the conclusion of the matter so they can finally move on.
Simply put, Yoshi is known as the ‘transfer-pony’ who came from a toilet.
Yoshi doesn’t know what this ‘Toilet’ is, but he can guess it isn’t customary. His greatest hint was a few unconscious ‘succu-foals’ that laughed themselves to the infirmary.
Our hero groaned in exasperation. He’s getting nowhere with this investigation. He pops an eye out to catch a glimpse of ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’, who is maneuvering around the classroom giving a piece of paper to each of her ‘spawns’.
“Alright, class, now listen up.” The ‘Queen’ announced as she moves from row to row of desks, passing out papers. Her voice was sounding clearer and her movements were less sluggish. “We’ll be doing mathematics…again.” She drooped and sighed deeply on that last part before continuing. “This is going to be an exercise of multiple problems, starting from simply easy addition and subtraction.” ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’ stopped next to a desk, rolled a paper in a tight cone, and then she swatted the head of a snoozing white ‘succu-foal’ with a horn. The young ‘demon-pony’ awoken with a startling yelp as the queen nonchalantly dropped the papery weapon on the desk and proceeded onward. “Each question will progressively get harder with multiplications and divisions added into the mix.” Then she came upon Yoshi’s seated desk. The green reptile fixated his eyes on the paper floating down in front of him as the ‘succu-pony queen’ retreated towards her original position. “I have faith in you all, blah ,blah, blah, try your best, yadda, yadda, yadda, good luck.” Then she dropped her head on her desk.
As if on cue, the whole class got busy. Yoshi can hear the faint scribbling and crumble sounds of papers being written on. He slowly glances around his surroundings, seeing many of them doing some type of work on at their own pace.
...except waaaay in the back, two of them known as the ‘Diamond Tiara’ and the ‘Silver Spoon’. They are both reading a magazine.
Our incognito dino-dragon hero looked down at his given paper. It was filled with various numbers, lines, and symbols. Suddenly, something just clicked in Yoshi’s mind. As he gazed upon each of the number patterns and symbolic line marks, the green reptile perfectly understood what he was looking at. He knew what these familiar looking structures of the equations he’s seeing before his very eyes.
These are obviously hidden formulated battle schematic blueprints for an invasion! This was just what he’s been looking for!
Yoshi’s egotistic pride greatly reflected from his smug grin of accomplishment. He can’t believe that the powerfully evil, ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’, just literally gave him the plans for her world domination. These ‘four legged demons’ may have unusual powers, high defensives, and a mass community, but they’ll never be able to equal or compare themselves to a masterful mind of a Yoshi…especially a ‘Green’ Yoshi who are known for their courage, strength, and wisdom. Yoshi, himself, is relieved that he was born pure green color and not a different variation. Whenever a greenish looking Baby Yoshi hatches, one of the chosen brethren from the tribe will inspect the newborn’s color. If the Baby Yoshi’s color tone isn’t truly green then they are not qualified to be leaders of a tribe.
So they’ll simply toss the false-green younglings over a cliff into the Piranha Plant horde, as in tradition.
The green reptile observed over the sheet full of numerical numbers of a very well cryptic scheme. Believe it or not, (and its going to be hard considering Yoshi’s character development throughout this story) Yoshi…just so happen…is very good with calculating numbers.
Somehow able to grip a pencil with his left leather-fur hand, our hero focused his mind and blocked out all outside force of noises. His eyes rapidly scanned each fraction of coded numbers, efficiently calculating numerous answers to decrypt the riddle of the ‘succu-pony queen’s’ invasion plan.
No…Yoshi will admit that it wasn’t easy. Yoshi is just that good!
He placed the smoking tip of his worn-out pencil down and held the completed paperwork in front of him. Despite successfully figuring out the schematic setup from this blueprint, Yoshi is very questionable about it. The formula mostly just consists of numbers. Perhaps it’s a formation lineup for the selected troops to form for battle? Our dino-dragon hero is starting to get frustrated with this invasion scheme. There must be a meaning to this! The sake of his island home is at stake!
After another few minutes of pondering, Yoshi came up with a good idea. He brought out his handheld camera-- from somewhere…his costume doesn’t have any pockets-- and proceeded to take a few pictures. Maybe the answers will reveal itself more truthfully in some sort of DaVinci Code type fashion.
…Yoshi has no idea what that means.
“Okay, everypony, time is just about up.” ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’ announced, somewhat monotone and her head still lay on her desk. “You may all go to your lunch period and do whatev’ afterwards. Just don’t bug me until further notice…”
No further indication was needed as the entire room of ‘soon to be invading warriors’ bolted out of the classroom.
Yoshi’s left eye began to twitch just as soon as ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’ finished speaking. He knew right then and there that the ‘succu-pony queen’ was truly pure evil, for which she has reminded our reptilian disguise hero of a haunting realization…an unusual grumbling noise was almost audible...
Yoshi hasn’t eaten a thing!
His poor tummy is greatly saddened for the lack of food inside it. It breaks Yoshi’s heart knowing his most favorite organ is sad, weeping even. He did planned on stealing some food when he arrived back into town wearing his camouflaging disguise, but so much new discoveries and confrontations were thrown at his face too fast.
The one known as the ‘Pinkie Pie’ did a real number on his concentration with her mouth jabbering away a mile per second.
Yoshi didn’t get to lament alongside with his stomach for long as something tap him on the shoulder, making the green reptile nearly jumped out of his disguise for the third time that day. Turns out, he and the queen weren’t exactly alone…
“Ahoy my good fellow friend, Yoshi.” The pirate outfit wearing ‘succu-foal’ cheerfully greeted. Yoshi let out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding. It was just that weirdo the ‘Squeaker Pip’. He looked at the young ‘hell spawn’. It greatly unnerved our hero the way the young fiend’s rapturous gleaming eyes and wide smile were directed at him so close. “Care to join me at the school’s cafeteria to have lunch? Perhaps we can even do more Charades while we eat! Sounds like jolly good fun, yes?”
Yoshi swore that sooner or later-- hopefully sooner-- that he’ll make this little nuisance pay dearly for practically destroying his pride. He’s gonn’a punch the ‘Pippy Squeaker’ until his pipper can no longer squeak a pip.
Unfortunately, our irritated hero wasn’t in the right physical condition to brawl with demons. He’s too hungry. When Yoshi’s belly doesn’t have any appetizing substance of food inside he’ll begin to weaken, but the more he eats the stronger he gets. Kind of like Son Goku in the Dragonball series; a full stomach equals a strong and powerful body.
...wait….who the frick is ‘Goku’?
“Shall we then? Let’s go eat lunch together!” the pirate outfit wearing youngling persisted.
Reluctantly, Yoshi follow alongside with him out of the classroom, but stopped halfway when he turned around to throw one quick gaze back at their ruling queen in the attempt to foreshadow their upcoming showdown. Coincidently, ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’ was also looking in his direction. Their eyes locked. Tension and all of that semi-intense moment that filled the atmosphere, for some reason that only commence between two characters, starts to happen when….well, pretty much when they both looked at each other. It’s unnecessary, it’s stupid and cliché at best, but hey, you know, DETAILS.
“Don’t you have lunch to go to or something…?” ‘Queen Miss Cheerilee’ unenthusiastically asked, breaking the silence like a hot knife through butter. The disguise reptile tenses up for a moment. Keeping his cool, he punctually turned to leave. Cheerilee rolled her eyes and sighed. “I always get the weird looking ponies.”
Power-walking down the short hallway, Yoshi was led towards the lunching area by his unwelcome cosplay predictor close by. For now, his final bout with the ‘Queen’ will have to wait. Right at this moment Yoshi will need to restore as much of his strength as soon as possible. He has taken a few good picture shots of the coded invasion schematics, so there’s little to worry about. All he needs to do now is eat a good hearty meal, come up with a good plan, and, THEN, kick some major ass!
Our confident hero smile brightly at the thought of causing mass destruction on these ‘evil, vile, hideously bloodsucking, deceitfully dem-‘
“You know, Yoshi, I can tell by first impression we’re going to be the best of friends. Don’t you think so to?” Brightly spoke the ‘Squeak-pip’.
Yoshi fakes a bright smile, simply nodding in response. The green reptile has already chosen him to be his first victim.

Elsewhere; at the Unknown Volcanic Mountain Region Place…
Deep inside of a cave at the summit of a mountaintop, a large red dragon stroll through its wide-open cavern dwelling. Many randomly place rocks or various sizes will shake or bounce with each rhythmic stomp the red fire breathing lizard will produce. The ceiling of the cave was covered with uncountable stalactites. Inside the cave weren’t exactly dark thanks to burning torches placed along the jagged walls.
And let’s not forget about the horde of gemstones and diamonds that’ll make a certain dog species muzzles drop to the ground.
The red dragon walked over to a makeshift table made out of sticks and stones. He picked-up a green-spotted white egg that he found last night. He doesn’t know why, but the egg was so fascinating to behold, especially when it lightly wiggles in his grip. The large reptilian dragon set the egg back down. However, he placed it on the very edge of the table, and since eggs are oval shaped and are not very known for their ability to stand upright…
Don’t think too hard on this.
CRACK!
The red dragon stared in surprising shock from what he saw came out of the egg. It was a female Pegasus pony. But not just any pony, for she was the same pony that degraded him into a little bitch when she got in his face and told him off. A deep burning sensation of anger from remembering that past moment began to boil and spread. Many dragons of his kin laugh at him once word of this had reached the Dragon Den far out into the south. He was shun from their society, banned to live as an exile, and was stripe way his dragon rights.
He was even kicked out of the ‘International Draco Draco 65 Club’. Like, what the tartarus?! It’s the only club meant for all dragons and dragons only, but once he gets yelled at by a pony now he’s not allowed in? That’s not even fair! It’s also the only place that serves ‘Pink Star Diamond’ smoothies, and those types of diamonds are near impossible to find anywhere else.
That’s bullshit!
Fluttershy slowly rose herself up to sit on her hunches. She looks as if she has just gotten off a 24hour long rollercoaster ride. She was quite dazzled, her eyes kept spinning in her head and her beautiful pink mane was a crazy mess. Despite all of this there is indeed a silver lining; Fluttershy was finally out of the egg.
“O-oh m-my…finally…I’m finally out…” She spoke softly to herself. Feeling her world coming to a steady stillness, the butter-yellow Pegasus fixated with her mane and pulled out pieces of shells out of it. For the life of her she couldn’t figure out what went wrong and how she ended up in such a situation.
At least she can take comfort in the fact that things can’t get any worst.
“Ahem!”
Fluttershy instantly froze into place, the pupils of her teal color eyes digitize into micro specks. She suddenly felt the presence of another being behind her, and judging by the impiety volume of its tone of voice her hopes for it to be a cute little animal were immediately shot down, stampeded upon, scoped up and thrown in the trash bin when she turned around.
“Ahhh! Ah! O-o-oh n-n-n-no!” Fluttershy squeaked loudly as she jolted backwards, facing her worst fears. She began to slightly hyperventilate upon seeing the vile reptilian. “P-p-please, d-don’t hu-hurt m-m-m-me!”
Geico Gecko stepped forward, his slander green arms place behind his back. “Switching over to GEICO will not only save you a lot of money, but you’ll also gain some great benefits.”
“N-no! Please!” She shut her eyes and covered her ears, trying so desperately to block out his existence. “I-I-I’m not interested! Please, just ple-please leave me alone!”
“But, Fluttershy, you don’t want to deny such a fantastic offer, do you?” The green lizard flashes a wick side-smile on his face as he advances towards her. “I assure you, you’ll be in good hands.”
The butter-yellow Pegasus flinch when she felt the ground shook and an agonizing muffled scream was heard. She peek an eye out to see a giant red claw smash into the caves ground. The only remains of the evil gecko sponsor were his lanky green arm sticking out from underneath. It twitches for a few seconds before lying lifelessly on the rugged dirt ground. Fluttershy was quick to calm herself as she felt a sense of peacefulness washed over her. But that was short lived when she looked upward and saw the menacing face of her second worst fears staring daggers at her.
“I never really liked that annoying green bugger.” The red dragon spoke almost casually.
“Ahhhhhhhhhh! It’s a d-d-d-DRAGON!!” She screamed fearfully as her body went on auto-control and starts to backpedals away.
The winged fire breather formed a wide ghastly smile. “Oh no, my little pony…not just me, heh heh…”
Fluttershy, still keeping her gaze on the much larger creature, back-walked until she was surrounded by the darken shades within the cave. Despite there being many lite torches in that area, it still somehow kept that section bounded in darkness. It only took a moment for the red dragon’s words to be comprehended by the Pegasus mare when the dark contained area suddenly vanished. Instinctively, the little pony swerves around. Fluttershy’s jaw dropped open and her eye pupils couldn’t possibly get any smaller.
Before her very eyes there are five other Dragons; Dragons of mystical legends:
Spyro the Dragon
Mega-Evolve Charizard
Blue Eyes White Dragon
Alduin
And last but not least, Bub and Bob, the twin dragons from that arcade ‘Bubble Bobble’.
Each of them sneered and growled, bared their razor-sharp teeth, and glared at the frighten Pegasus. Fluttershy instantly missed being imprisoned inside of an egg. Maybe if there was a blanket with her it’ll be a bit comfortable. These feral looking dragons don’t seem intent on giving a friendly hello. She wasn’t getting a positive vibe out of any of them, especially from Bub.
Fluttershy is not liking Bub very much.
She only manages to remove her eyes away from these powerful creatures of lore when the first dragon stepped forward, shaking the cave slightly with a stomp and regaining her attention. “Gather around boys.” The red dragon announced. A shady smirk was pasted on his maw as his nostrils blew a thick trail of smoke. “We are about to have an…innovation. Grah, heh, heh…”
Fluttershy was horrorstruck, surrounded by all angles as they advance on her helplessness.
There was no hope…
…or is it? Fluttershy threw her hopeful attention towards the entryway of the cave.
…
…
…
Hold on, just…just it a moment.
…
…
…
…
Huh. Nope. No, I guess not.
Too Be Continue…
Author’s Note:
Just like the previous chapter, I have planned on adding a lot of stuff here, but, once again, I felt the chapter was becoming too long. There was going to be plenty of focus points of parodies, jokes, etc, mainly revolving around the school ponies, and of course Yoshi at his best dealing with the challenges. However, the buildup was taking too much space and it’ll seem unprofessional to shorten them down. Plus, I wanted a scene break for the Mane Six since they are going to get involve at the end.
Sorry for the late update. The Wii U, 3DS and finding rare GameCube games can eat up a lot of my time and interest. The next chapter will be solely focus on Cheerilee, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and other schooling foals.
See ya next time.
