Blood and Silver

The rain pelted my fur as I thought about just running away. Now scientists wanna experiment on me and all that stuff.

Maybe to just push how much ponies love me and for them to forgive me....

I groaned, gazing at the lightning.

"Or..." I whispered, flying up.

I smirked and said aloud, "Oh, no, I might fly into this cloud, ah!"

I saw Silver Blitz and my smile fell.

She flew in front of me, my gaze horrified with fear.

"Go ahead, go in!" she growled, shoving me towards the lightning.

"Why don't YOU try?!" I replied, shoving her towards the electric bolt of light.

She managed to steer clear and came back, shoving me off the cloud I was on, which was unfortunatley too high.

I watched my cousin fall slowly, nopony there to save her.

I could tell her wings were frozen with fear.

I smirked as she fell hopelessly.

But then my head flooded full of memories of me and her, and I snapped out of my trance of greed and jealousy.

I flew down, and picked her up on my back, and landed.

My eyes were widened. "S-silver?" I muttered, my body stunned.

My cousin shook her head up and down.

My heart stopped. "W-why? I thought ya hated me..." I said softly, brushing myself off.

"I did, but then I realized how much fun we used to have." she replied, then crouched on the ground, yelping in pain.

I cocked my head in confusion, then saw her eyes look up at mine, begging for mercy.

My gaze fell over the sky. It was now nightfall. Werepony was the only word that came to mind. But is Silver one also? The question danced in my mind. I ignored my senses and carried her as fast as I could to the Everfree Forest.
