Chapter 3: Awaking

* DARK ROOM*

" Damn i remember that night oh boy that was not fun i tell you it felt like sunbathing......on the bucking sun!" then another voice joined me. "well at least you slept the change away." i turn to find the voice but the white light engulfs me again and i'm headed to my next memory.

* Everfree Forest Rebel camp midnight*

*Sky's POV*

After a hour of walking we made it to the rebel camp with my brother being carried along with two other soldiers that were injured in the Ursa fight. They took Storm to a healing tent and the other soldier's as well. I wanted to to go in with him but a large earth pony in gold armor placed his hand on my shoulder and told me follow him. So i followed him still worried about my younger brother. Even though he was born first we felt i was the older brother because i was always there to protect him as a older brother. We arrive at the largest tent in the whole camp and he stops at the front of the tent saying " wait here a moment sir." He entered the tent a couple of moments later he emerged from the tent. "They are waiting for you sir, you may enter." He said saluting me holding the tent fold open.

As i enter i see the tent is filled with commanders, scrolls, charts and maps. In the center was a table with four stallions and two mares standing around i saw instantly that it was Luna who had trailed off of the group who had enter the camp. and then i turned my head to see the beautiful mare next to her whose fur shined liked the sun and mane almost like a rainbow of the sun, unlike her sisters starlit mane her's was breath taking.

Celestia stood from the table and walk towards me as i kneel bowing my head low.she stood over me smiling, i took a chance and stole a glance she was radiant the warm light she gave was perfect, but i dropped my eyes fast as i saw her looking into my eyes.

"Rise sir knight i would wish to look upon the one who saved my sister and many others from the Ursa." she said with a angelic voice that filled my ears like a beautiful song. So i stood upon my hooves and looked upon her. Her smile was warming and soft, her eyes like diamonds in the sunlight, Her mane flowing and the curves of her body for being a Alicorn was breathtaking if i had the chance i would ravage her with my lust for her but i controlled myself and remembered my place.

"On behalf of all of us i would like to thank you and reward you brave knight for your sacrifice to protect my sister princess Luna. Sir Sky i thank you." She cupped one of my cheeks and placed a kiss upon my lips. My mane stood on end, my eyes went wide and my face went tomato red against my white fur. Celestia ended the kiss and I stood there like a tree and a priceless face as everyone burst out laughing even Celestia.

I suddenly heared yelling behind me and i turned to see only a fist strike my face hard and strong, i cup my nose yelling. " AHH! what was that for you Bucking jackass! no offence." i say to a donkey guard who only shrugged. I return my gaze to my attacker only to see my father standing over me with his one eye staring at me with anger. " So my son why don't you tell me why you forgotten what i taught you and your brother about making sure when you kill a monster make sure its dead?!"

*Storms POV*

*Healing tent*

The feeling of fire on my skin was intense, i couldn't take it. i tried to cry out in pain but i couldn't, my skin felt like paper burning, my bones cracked and snap as if they were growing my back throbbed in pain as i tossed and turn trying to relive my pain but to no avail even my head felt like a hammer used by a earth pony bashing on my head like a nail. But some of the worst pain came from my cutie mark, the burning was concentrated there and that's were the worst was happening. but little did i know my brother at the same moment was going throught the same changes but i found out later that it was happening infront of everyone. with one final crack of my body for a brief moment my eye opens and turns from gray to red and i pass back out from exhaustion.

* Next Morning*

I stirred under the blankets with my hand sticking out but it looks different but i was to groggy to notice. i rose from the cot my mane a mess but i didn't care. But i smelled and heard the sounds of a river and the sound and scent was inviting, so i stood from the cot actually feeling beyond better i felt like a million bit! " Mmm thirsty." i said groggly as i started to walk, other injure ponies were in the tent but they were asleep. i walked out of the tent passing two guards at the tents i didn't notice but they dropped there spears, with jaws hanging low.

" *yawns* mmm good morning." I wave to a group of soldiers's as i walked by, they said nothing but only stared in shock. throughout the whole camp i got the feeling i was being looked at with faces of surprise. It didn't matter because i had finally reached my goal the river with crystal blue water, clear as day.

" Aahhh the princesses are good to me this day ahhh."

I ram my head in the water shaking it about feeling the water drop from my mane and horns.........horns? i remember i only had one horn but i touched my head and low and behold i felt two other horns. my eyes went wide as i looked at the water. It settled and what i saw terrified me. I saw my eyes were a spiral of red and white, i had two extra horns that look like they are swords and my main horn matches them, my jaw was longer and i had fangs for ripping flesh. my mane as i ran my hand through it had spines sticking out of it and my fur was rough with a mixture of scales. i looked back to see a draconic tail with a fluffy tip and wings....wings that means i could fly. What has happened to me all i could do at the moment of shock is yell.

"RRRRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!"

I quickly cover my mouth realizing what i just yelled or in truth roared. I may be a knight but i was scared of what has happened to me, a rusling from the bushes i jumped to my feet ready to fight. i may not have my sword but i was not totally defenceless i had my magic and my training with CQC from my father. But to my surprise my brother was the one in the bushes but he looked like me but with the same look i had but his horns were curved and his eyes were red and black swirled together. I looked at him and he looked at me.

"So Storm..." Sky started to say but i cut him off " WHAT THE BUCK HAPPENED TO US!!!!" i yelled with a voice of fury and fear. looking at sky wondering what he was going to say.

" I believe we can give you the answers that you seek my student." We both look up and see the great gray dragon that saved us and on each side of him like angels the princesses float down from the tree tops and landing softly on the ground.

The princesses wearing reagle attire with a mix of parts of their armor their wrists and legs covered with armor Celestia's armor was gold and with the sun at the center of her armor and Luna's armor was a onyx color with a crescent moon on her's. Both were beautiful but even when i bowed to them on my knees with my fists in the ground i couldn't take my eyes off of Princess Luna and her me. A cough came from the old Dragon and i snapped out of my zone and looked at him. He was wearing a type of cloth i've never seen before. the colors were of gems sworn into the cloth in a pattern of a golden dragon and when i looked him in the eyes i saw a large scar across his right eye and the eye was clouded showing he was blind. I looked into his good eye to see golden coloring but his pupli was red like fire the shined on the gold.

"Now then i can see you are supriesed by your new looks and i can tell you now my young students there is nothing to worry about. you two have been given a great gift and a new outlook on life. you....." I cut him off with a slight twitch in my eye and without knowing my eye changed to a blood red as i looked at the dragon. " GREAT GIFT?! IM A MONSTER!! HOW IS THIS A GIFT!?"

I stood chest to chest with the dragon, well chest to stomach as Graywing towered over me. He raises a eyebrow and places a hand on my head pats it and turns to walk a few steps. I curse at him and try to atttack but Sky grabs me and hold me back by my new tail. " Storm! calm down. if He didn't do what he did you be dead the Ursa that we fought ran you through with its claws!"

I stop flayling my arms and the memories of that fight came back to me all i remember were the Ursa's eyes looking at me and it's claws in my chest. My blood ran cold as i looked down i couldn't believe it, for a few moments i was dead but this dragon saved my and my brothers life. I keeped my head down and fell to my knees with my head down low to the ground.

" Forgive me my lord i was angry and fearful, when i should have been greatfull and glad that we are alive and stronger. I Strom Runner ask for your forgiveness master." I bow low as dose my brother who was next to me bowing all the same.

We both hear a deep laugh from GrayWing and giggles from the Princesses when i see Luna giggling at me i turn beet red and i keep my head down.

" Its alright young kinght. i know you are confused but here, rise my students, and i shall explain why your forms have changed and i will soon teach you how to control your new bodies and powers. Also......." He was cut off by the sounds of screams and weapons clashing together back at the rebel camp.

"Quick we have to get back to camp NOW!!!" Celestia shouts as the five of us race back to the camp, upon arriving we find it to be a battleground. The eyes of the princesses were filled with horror and anger, their horns gave a quick glow and a sudden flash covered them and they were soon covered in their armor, holding weapons of war and they flew down to the field of battle. The same with Graywing who branished a large broadsword as he took to the sky and began engaging in areial combat with the enemy.

The enemy were ponies and chaotic creatures the held the banner of discord. The motive was clear the mean to wipe us out but we were not going to die with out a fight. Doing the same as the princesses me and Sky magiclly conjured up our armor and helms. Our helmets worn our eyes turned white our faces covered and were charged on to the battlefield, the family blades drawn. we clashed into the first line of chaos warriors. Sky had cut down three warriors in the first moment of our attack and i brought down two. our swords clashed against the heavy blows from the crazed enemy. I looked into one of the enemies eyes and they were swirled with red and yellow the same color as discord. I moved passed the enemy with the new found power and speed with this new body of mine, i saw the same with my brother as he had brought down a Maticore with one stroke with dawn. I turn to see a chimera jump me pinning me to the ground. It goat head came down bit my arm same with the lion head and the snake bit my chest. but i felt no pain not even their teeth sinking into me i looked up to see there fangs were broken on my scales that hid under my fur. I smiled at them, I began to feel a warmth coming from my throat building up and when it reached my mouth i gave a roar and black fire shot out and fell upon the chimera.

The chimera roared in pain as draw our my bowie knife that i got from the armory and ram it deep into the beast's heart. It gives a final gasp and goes limp. I toss it off of me as Sky runs to my side and a whole squad of enemies surrounds us. " ready to show these foals how to really fight little bro?" sky said's to me. "Hell yea big bro lets take them all on!" with that the warriors attacked us, but they didn't understand the power of our brotherhood that when we are together we are stronger then we are apart. Using magics our father taught us and with our new fire breaths we fended off our attackers. with our fire breaths we both took deep inhales and with a simultanius spin we unleashed our fire's and engulfed our enemies.

A loud horn sounded off and the enemy began their retreat vanishing into the forest and leaving there fallen behind. A roar of victory came form everypony knowing we had won the battle and the day. I sit down panting still not use to my new body panting heavily as sky hugs my head. * Good work my brother." i fall on my back and look up to see Luna and my father. Standing over me i slowly rise and smiling at them.

Graywing walked over to the four of us and smiled." you two have began to use and understand your powers i will teach you but we do not have long Kirin knights." We both looked at each other confused." Kirin knights my lord?" Sky asked.

"Yes my students you have been given the titles of kirin for your powers and appereance, now you must prove you have earned your marks." He pointed to our cutie marks they have changed as well. the helmet now looks like a dragons helm, the shield jaget and the sword more curved like a scimatar.

" We are your students and we will prove we have earned these marks." We stood back up and Princess Luna walked towards me even with her blood covered armor she was still beautiful.

" We never hath the chance to tank thee brave knight for saving thee in thyne hour of need so i thank thee." She placed a kiss upon my cheeks and i fell over and was as stiff as a board. Everyone was laugh from my father and brother, to Graywing and Tia, Luna was worried as she looked at me. while i was on the ground smiling sitting on cloud nine.
