Twilight In Darkness

It was morning Twilight slowly woke up she was feeling very different she looked down at herself "what the". She looked at herself closely she had  hands and feet "what happened to me" she said aloud. She stood up and attempted to walk. She got ready to go downstairs when she fell flat on her face and rolled down the stairs. Ow she thought that hurt she rubbed her forehead which was dripping blood. She opened the door and walked outside still struggling to walk on her two feet. Looking around the town she saw that everyone was a human just like her. "What happened here seriously this is crazy." She walked through the town when she heard something faint like a whisper she couldn't tell what the words were so she walked away. I wonder if Canterlot is like this too she thought. She teleported to Canterlot to see what was going on. She walked to the castle and went inside.

"Princess what is going on here?" said Twilight quizically.

"What do you mean my faithful student?"

This must be another dimension or something she thought "Nevermind Princess i'll be going now."

"Wait before you go Glistening Blade needs you."

"Wait a minute Blade is dead he got cru." she stopped herself if this is another dimension maybe he actually never died i wonder how i got here though.

"What are you talking about Twilight? He is right here." Blade entered the room smiling at Twilight.

"There's my beautiful girlfriend" he said walking over to Twilight.

"What did you need to see me for Blade?"

"Twilight do you not remember what i told you earlier?"

"When did you tell me whatever this is about?"

"This morning before i left to come here."

"Oh well sorry i don't remember."

"Well just meet me back at Ponyville in about an hour."

"Where?"

"Our house."

Blade walked away. Twilight left the castle and teleported to her house. What could we possibly be doing later she thought. Maybe he is going to take me out somewhere that would be nice. She felt a strange darkness take a hold of her for a moment. She felt a strong pain then it stopped and she was fine. What just happened she thought to herself. She waited another 45 minutes and Blade walked in.

"Twilight i'm home where are you?"

"I'm coming one minute" she met Blade downstairs.

"Ok Twilight ready to go."

"Yeah i'm ready where are we going though?"

"Just follow me."

They walked outside together. Blade walked into the town and towards a building "We shall take to the rooftops." He ran up the wall and pulled himself up. "Twilight now do what i did." She ran at the wall and jumped Blade reached out his hand and helped her up.

"Why are we on the rooftop?" Asked Twilight as she looked around.

"Just follow me ok now no more questions."

"Alright sorry."

Blade jumped across to another rooftop. Twilight followed she jumped and barely made it across. She followed Blade across the roof he went up to a window and opened it quietly. He stepped up and sat on the windowsill trying to be quiet as possible. Twilight crept up behind him. "This is the man we must kill" he said as he looked over at Twilight.

"Were going to kill him.?"

"Yes we are he killed numerous people in town i saw it myself now can you use your magic to handcuff him?"

Twilight went inside the house then used her magic and cuffs appeared around his hands Blade jumped down into the house. He grabbed the man and threw him into the door of the house it was wooden so it shattered from the force of the throw. "Twilight would you like to do the honors and kill him?"

She looked at the man on the ground who was now bleeding "I don't know."

Blade handed Twilight the sword "I think you can handle it."

She grasped the sword in her right hand.

"Careful so you don't hurt yourself that sword is extremely sharp."

She lifted the sword above the mans head ready to cut it off. But when she swung time slowed and she felt the strange darkness control her. She lost control and slashed at Blade cutting his throat.

"Twilight why?" He said as he dropped to the floor next to the bleeding man. He was still alive but that would only last a few minutes or seconds.

Twilight raised the sword again still not in control and impaled him through his chest killing him she dragged the blade slicing him in half. The darkness left her body and the sword dropped from her hand. She dropped down crying and the bloody man next to her stood up the handcuffs where gone now. He reached out for the sword and grabbed a hold of it. Twilight was crying over Blades body when the man called out "Over here." She looked over at him he raised the sword and hit her in the face with the pommel and she awoke covered in sweat.

Well that was the worst nightmare ever she thought as she looked over herself seeing that she was a pony again. It was midnight Twilight couldn't fall back asleep she was to scared. Once again she heard the faint whisper of death "Ha ha ha ha ha you really thought he was alive. I forced you to kill him in your dream i am going to drown your life in darkness." Twilight sat there thinking what should i do death is trying to scare me and it's working. She laid her head down but didn't fall asleep. She stayed up the rest of the night.If i go back to sleep i will have wicked nightmares but if i stay up forever ill go crazy i need help she thought.

It was now 10 in the morning Twilight went over to Applejack and Lowells house at Sweet Apple Acres. She knocked on the door until she was greeted by Lowell.

"Hey sorry to bother you Lowell but can i stay over for a few days?"

"Wait what's wrong why do you want to stay over?" He asked with a yawn.

"I have been having some crazy nightmares now that Blade is gone."

"Let me ask Applejack real quick." He walked inside and talked to Applejack.

"She said you can stay over."

Twilight walked into the house with Lowell and looked over at Applejack "Thanks so much."

Anytime said Applejack with a smile.

"Now Twilight let me show you were you can stay" said Lowell as he walked down the hall.

She followed as he opened the door to a small room with just a bed in it. "Thanks again" she said as she got on the bed.

"Welcome" said Lowell as he walked away.

Twilight was feeling very tired so she laid her head down. No i can't sleep she thought death will make me have a nightmare again. Her eyes were slowly closing she was really comfy and tired well Lowell and Applejack are here they will protect me. Her eyes slowly closed again and in seconds she was passed out Lowell walked in he was about to ask if she was hungry but he saw her sleeping he walked over and pulled the blanket up onto her. He walked out and closed the door.
