Chapters Diamond Tiara's hair fell about her face, running down her shoulders in amethyst and ice-white rivers. The cold water was helping her mind clear itself—it was helping her think. Think about how bloody cold it was! Despite her need for a cold shower to keep her thoughts away from the three crusaders, her hand turned the knob for the hot water, and she sighed in relief as the frigid cold gave way to pleasant warmth. Now she could enjoy the shower. She sighed under the warm spray and craned her neck upwards, resting her hands against the tiled walls. Now she had to sort her feelings out.
There was no denying her attraction for the three boys she used to bully. She couldn't just sweep what happened in her room earlier under a rug in her mind and hope for the best. She was a big girl now, she had to face her problems. Unfortunately, untangling the web of feelings in her brain promised to be more of a teaser than her father's morning Sudoku puzzles.
Attraction wasn't the only thing she felt either. Something about seeing the three of them smile that made her stomach do more kickflips than Scoots could pull off on his skateboard. They were each smart, funny, talented boys, who were far too kind to a bully like her. How was she supposed to reconcile years upon years of guilt? There was no short answer, and the feelings of shame and conflicting desires all welled about, pierced every now and then by images of them standing in the nude.
Diamond shook her head and grabbed the soap. She was in the shower for a reason, and it wouldn't do well to waste all the hot water in the house just because she couldn't stop introspecting. She worked the soap into a lather and began rubbing it in. Showers always helped her to clear her head, perhaps that's why she couldn't stop thinking things through.
There was always the possibility that the Crusaders thought of Tiara the same way she thought of them. She hadn't exactly been shy around them as of late, in fact, she felt more comfortable with them than many of her so called 'gal-pals', with the exception of Silver Spoon. A heavy blush coloured her cheeks a dark crimson, as she remembered how brazenly she had been walking around her house when they came to visit last. In just a tank top and boy shorts, with the heating all the way up. Dead of winter, the three boys had come in with heavy winter coats, and had quickly shed them in favour of their much looser shirts and jeans. They had spent the day in good company, Silver Spoon had shown up, bearing pizza and junk food, and they had an impromptu slumber party. The blush quickly fell away, and a happy smile replaced it at the fond memories. She had to admit, so far she was enjoying the whole 'friendship' thing.
Her smile disappeared, however, as she remembered the very next day at school. Applebuck had been taken aside in the school cafeteria by three other seniors. Former lackeys of Tiara, who still hadn't got it through their thick skull that they were supposed to be friendly. They promptly spilled sticky, sugary drinks on him, and while the sight of a sticky orange shirt clinging to his muscles wasn't unwelcome, she had laughed. She had laughed, and he had seen. The look of hurt on his face as she looked at her haunted her for the rest of the day, and almost scared her out of apologising. Despite everything, he had brushed it off with his damned smile and a chortle, saying that it was pretty funny in hindsight.
She couldn't exactly forgive herself as easily as he did. What was she expecting, though? Did she want him to scream at her? Reprimand her? Spank her? Bend her over the nearest picnic table, pull down her jeans and—
Her lips parted in a slow exhale. When did her hands get so close to her core? One hand was sliding over the generous mounds of her breasts, spreading soap and lather all over their glistening forms. The other one had worked its way down again, as though drawn by a magnet.
"Whoa!" She ripped her hands away from her body and set them on the taps, giving herself a blast of winter-cold water as a reward. She couldn't... she wouldn't! Not again. She was still basking in the contrails of afterglow! She wasn't some insatiable tart that couldn't go five minutes without some stimulation, for Christ's sake! She could control herself. She would control herself.
She ran the water over her soapy body and ignored the way the pulsing head made her shiver. Wash your hair , she told herself. Just wash your hair and get out, before you get all pruney! Nothing could possibly ever came from washing her hair, how could it? It was on the complete opposite end of her body.
She squirted some two-in-one shampoo and conditioner into her hand, running it through her hair slowly. She didn't dwell on the sensations of her fingers raking her scalp, as she usually did. Usually she would pamper herself a little, give herself a scalp massage using techniques she had gathered, from subscriptions to beauty magazines, and her mother's discarded copies of Cosmo.
Was that what she really wanted? She turned off the taps for a while, letting her hair stay bundled up in shampoo and soaps. Was she so desperate to pay reparations in some way, that it was slowly turning into a perverse lust? Had her love for the boys as friends somehow transformed, and become corrupted by the guilt she still felt for her past actions? Was all of this stemming from some deep-seated desire to be punished?
Punished, you say? a little voice began gathering steam in her head.
Nope! She quickly turned the water to its coldest setting and stuck her head under the spray, drowning the fresh heat the only way she could think of at that moment. She raked her fingernails over her scalp harshly to remove all the shampoo and conditioner combo. Dandruff was unsightly, after all.
One thing was certain, Diamond couldn't simply resolve this by herself. One way or another, she had to get this whole thing sorted out sooner or later. She would prefer sooner, just so she didn't get distracted in class, or somehow blurt it out during a game of truth-or-dare. God, she was imagining a game of spin the bottle, where she would like nothing more than for the bottle to land on three of those present.
Diamond turned off the water and stepped out of her shower, picking up a fluffy pink towel from its perch on the door, wrapping it around her lithe form, and stepping back into her adjacent room. Tomorrow was a Friday, and if she didn't at least talk with one of them about this, then she would either have to visit them at their homes—something she was not courageous enough to do—or wait until the following Monday. Given how her day was going so far, Diamond doubted her ability to survive that long with just her thoughts, imagination, and burgeoning lust for the trio.
She rested herself on the bed, allowing the towel to keep her sheets dry. She tapped her foot for a while, her thoughts flitting from subject to subject restlessly. A thousand different ways to talk with all three Crusaders, a thousand different ways the situations could play out. A thousand different images of her laying spread-eagled underneath one of them, two of them, or all three. She dove for her bedside unit and grabbed a remote control. If she could't live with her brain, then she'd just have to kill a few hundred cells with good old-fashioned television. She did have homework to do, as usual, but she could always copy off of someone at morning homeroom, as usual.
Flicking through the channels got her nowhere, but it succeeded in dulling her mind for a few moments. The movie channels were still riding the coat-tails of Hearts and Hooves day, and there were a lot of romance movies on. From light-hearted Rom-Coms, to the very stereotypical star-crossed lovers stories. She settled on a trashy rom-com and stood up, letting the movie fade into the background while she dried off. It didn't take too long. She left her hair slightly damp so it would dry on its own, and soon she was laying back on the bed, stifling a yawn as the shower caught up to her. She always felt sleepy after a shower.
After a while her eyelids began to droop, and she welcomed the veil of sleep with open-arms, and a happy sigh. Her last view before her eyes closed, was a tall man leaning in for a kiss on-screen, while happy music played through the speakers.
Diamond Tiara awoke, and thankfully the sun was still up. It was just beginning its downward descend in the sky, turning the clouds a rich amber and gold. There was something off, Diamond could feel it as she sat up and stretched her muscles, stifling a yawn as her senses came back one by one. The first thing she heard was laughter, deep and masculine, coming from somewhere downstairs. The kind of laughter someone made when they were trying to keep quiet. It was a miracle that Tiara even heard it, but her hearing was heightened somehow. The second thing she noticed was the smell of something like paint, or varnish. She stood up warily and walked over to the door to her room, pushing it open and taking a peek outside. She could still hear voices from downstairs. Her mother and father were both staying late at work, and it was much too early to even consider their arrival.
That left only two options; a surprise visit from friends-slash--relatives, or an intruder. She closed her door once again, and stepped back to calm the beating of her frantic heart. If they were trying to keep quiet that could either mean they were a friend, paying her a courtesy so as not to wake her up, or they were with a friend breaking into her house. If she went downstairs she could get kidnapped, or worse... but if she didn't then she could spurn a couple of her friends who had popped around for a visit.
She turned to her calendar to make sure she hadn't forgotten a sleepover, maybe a night playing video games or something. Nothing was marked down. She decided to suck it up and investigate. For some reason it just made sense to her. She walked downstairs as though through treacle, nervousness growing with each step.
It wasn't until she came into the living room that she saw the cause of the commotion. Her friends were indeed there, and they were laughing, but they were also the cause of the smell of paint. Scoots held a spray-can of red paint in his hand, he and Applebuck were both busy applying paint to the walls of her house, writing every slur they could think of on the wallpaper. Silver Bell was resting on the coffee table like he owned the damn thing, directing their work with both his hands raised—thumbs and forefingers making a square as though he was practicing for a photo shoot.
They were laughing about it, too. Diamond walked forward as though in a trance, staring at the words on the wall. Bitch, Diamond Tiara took in the scene with some sort of muted confusion. Confusion lead to sorrow, a dash of betrayal for seasoning, then brought to a boil over the course of about three seconds, until it erupted in rage. "What the hell are you doing?!"
"Oh hey, she's awake," Silver Bell pushed himself off of the coffee table and paced around to the back of the couch, folding his arms over his chest with a grin.
The other two turned around and froze, paint cans still held up to the walls.
"What..." Diamond walked forward a few steps. The anger in her heart turned into a modicum of sorrow, and the rage, the ranting, the raving she was preparing all fell away to a single question; "why?"
"Oh, don't give us that" Scoots turned around and cast the paint can to one side. "You know you've had this coming."
"You can't just break into my house and vandalise my stuff!" Diamond strode towards Silver Bell and prodded a finger into his chest. "That's going too far!" she stated accusingly.
Silver Bell scoffed derisively. Scoots and Buck both exchanged looks.
"Like running smear campaigns in the school paper?" Applebuck asked.
"Like keeping blackmail material on people?" Scoots piped up.
Silver checked his nails absently. "Like forcing us to be your reporters for no other reason than 'we sell'?" he asked with a smirk.
Diamond drew back a little, hurt and guilt making her face fall. "That's..." she shook her head. "That's not who I am anymore."
"No, of course not," Silver Bell sang sweetly, a saccharine sound that belied the maliciousness hidden beneath his tone. "That's why you laugh when something bad happens to us," he began
"Make jokes about it for weeks," Applebuck continued.
"And use your daddy's influence and wealth to get what you want," Scoots finished.
Tiara felt a spear of guilt worm its way through her insides like an icicle. She felt a cold feeling worm its way out from her stomach. She didn't still behave like that, did she... oh god... "I don't..." she weakly began.
Applebuck shook his head and held up an accusing hand, gesturing at her. "You're just a brat, Ti. A spoiled brat, and you know it!"
She looked at each of their faces in turn. There was hatred, there was anger, and she couldn't bear to look at it. She collapsed against the back of the chair, barely supporting her own weight as her hands found her face, and she choked out little sobs. "I'm sorry, I didn't know how bad I still was."
"Oh she's sorry. Hear that, Crusaders?" Applebuck raised his voice. "She's sorry, well, you know what I think?"
Tiara looked up at him. "What?"
One of his hands shot out and grabbed her wrist, pulling her close. "I don't think you're sorry enough," his voice dropped to a low growl and he smirked, showing off his pearly white teeth.
Diamond yelped in shock as she collided with his muscles, feeling as though she had hit a brick wall. "What are you doing?"
"What do you think, guys?" Scoots asked, stepping up behind her and letting his eyes appreciatively look over every curve on her body. "How should we make dear Diamond pay us back?"
"I have a few ideas," Silver Bell smirked, watching the scene unfold.
Applebuck nodded "I reckon we could think of something," he said to her, one hand stroking her cheek while the other cradled the small of her back.
Despite the fact that this was playing exactly like one of the seedier videos Tiara had stumbled across on the internet, her cheeks flushed red as she realised she was sandwiched between two of them. "Oh dear..." she whimpered gently as she felt both of their hands come to rest on her body. Applebuck moved down to slide over her hips softly, while Scoots hugged around her midsection.
It was a little easier than she had expected, kissing Applebuck for the first time; especially since he initiated. One moment she was staring up at his rugged and handsome face with wide eyes. The next he had lunged down and captured her lips in a fiery kiss. She knew her way around a kiss, but it was so different with him. Everything. His touch was so forceful that she was almost intimidated by the first simple brush of his lips. His taste was deep and rich, like a strong whiskey, making her drunk and almost burning in its intensity. The scent of him lingered—the scent of a hard day's work mixed with a cologne she had never smelt before. The scent blended in with the taste of him on her lips, making every nerve in her body flare up with fire in ways that she had never experienced. Half of her was screaming that this was veering dangerously close to the point of no return. The other half was telling her to cannonball into the pool of new sensations opening up to her.

It surprised and delighted her when he was the one who parted his lips first. The warm caress of his mouth over hers was so incredible, and she was so lost in it that she had no control over the little whimper that escaped her when his tongue darted out. It teased her lips apart, a task made easy by her own desire to deepen the kiss, until tongue met tongue in a duel that was half playful and half curious. The taste of him was like nothing she had imagined. It was wild and sharp, reminding her faintly of a spice she couldn’t quiet place. As the kiss lingered, going no further but losing none of its intimacy, she felt herself clutch at his shirt desperately as the two boys pressed into her.
This is bad... this is really bad, I should stop this. Diamond's eyes opened in a lustful haze.
Come on, just let go a little. that voice in her head goaded her into carrying on.
She shook her head. This isn't what I wanted. she wanted to sit them down and talk, not find them trashing her home, not skipping straight to sex, and certainly not wanting it to continue.It was tempting. It was oh so tempting to just let go, and let the ride take its course.
But you want to make amends, right? that little voice piped up once more in her moment of confusion. They're offering themselves to you on a silver platter and you are still trying to play the good girl?
His tongue wrestled hers for dominance. Scoots buried his head in her hair and inhaled, making her feel the whoosh of cold air over the nape of her neck. She let her nails rake down Applebuck's back as she melted under their careful caresses. She felt one of the rough, calloused farmer's hands drag down her thigh and pick up one of her legs, wrapping it around his waist as his lips and tongue fought with hers for dominance. Scoots planted steamy kisses on her neck, making her sigh and shiver, craning her head to give him better access. She was stuck between two strong bodies, completely at their mercy, and all she could do was try and press herself as close to each of them as possible, while enjoying their gentle ministrations.
She let out a little whimper of need that soon turned into a full-throated moan as she felt two very distinctly hard objects pressing at her body. Fuck being good.
Atta girl. the voice applauded.
Diamond broke the kiss when she felt a pair of strong hands slide around the curves of her hips, and grab hold. Tightly. Maybe 'gentle' was the wrong word for their actions. The other pair of hands inexorably moved underneath her shirt. Wait, when did she get dressed? Teeth nipped at her neck, and suddenly she didn't care anymore. Applebuck used his grip as leverage to pull her even closer. She wrapped both of her legs around his waist and let him support her weight; it didn't seem to phase him in the slightest. Compared to what he was used to carrying, her petite frame mustn't have even felt like a small sack of apples.
Told you! that annoyingly smug voice in her head chirped, then flooded her mind with the same images as before, of him wrapping those hands around her waist as she held on for the ride.
Scoots pulled her shirt up and over her head. Before Diamond knew it, he pulled it taut against her head, trapping her arms and eyes in a pink cotton prison. With her movement and eyesight restricted, she felt her other senses heighten. She could feel the cool air against her bare porcelain skin. Goosebumps popped up under warm breaths, exhaled by the two crusaders. She felt both of them shift as they leaned down. Lips pressed against hers for a split second, and with all the lightness of a feather. She felt herself leaning into it, craving it, holding her mouth open in anticipation as her chest began to heave and strain with each bated breath.
She felt lips on her cheeks, on the corners of her mouth. She craned her head this way and that to try and capture them, but they always remained elusive. Scoots began gently gyrating his hips back and forth, working a blush to her cheeks as she felt him rock into her, which in turn caused her to grind against Applebuck. Scoots pulled on the shirt a bit tighter and forced Tiara's head back. Those same elusive lips found their mark on her jugular, on her collarbone, on seemingly every sensitive spot she had on her neck. It was like they knew her better than she did, and soon she was reduced to a panting mess. That was before she felt nails on her stomach, pawing and kneading her chest with ruthless precision.
She let out an explosive breath as the hands on her ass tightened as well. Diamond couldn't help but utter a single word through all the teasing, all the foreplay; "please..."
Diamond heard a deep, harmonious chuckle from each of them. Felt it rock her deep to her bones.
Cold air whipped at her back as Scoots stepped away, taking the shirt with him. She felt exposed, even though her body was blocked by Applebuck. He let her drop to the floor unceremoniously, and she managed to catch herself on shaky legs. Looking around, she noticed Scoots had taken a step back while Silver Bell had stepped forward with a glint in his deep emerald eyes.
Applebuck spun her around, and rested his hands on her waist as the man sauntering before her drank her in, very openly.
"It's not fair that we get to have all the fun," Applebuck whispered, his hands trailing up her sides and making her writhe. The hands came to her shoulders, and began pushing. She tried to keep her legs straight, but the strength in the Apple Brother's hands increased until she was forced down. Her knees were already weak from the treatment she got earlier, and she offered no resistance as she sank down to the hardwood floors, Applebuck's hands gripping her hair tightly.
Silver Bell stepped up to her and smiled warmly. Diamond nervously returned the gesture, gulping as Bell gripped the hem of his white T shirt, pulling it up and over his head, exposing that body in all of its glory. Tiara tried to stifle a gasp, but failed. As the man hooked his thumbs into his jeans, Diamond held up her own hands to stop him, pulling his wrists away. Her own hands worked at the zipper and the buckle, while a laugh sounded from above her.
She pulled the item of clothing down and clenched her jaw as she saw the noticeable outline in the white boxer shorts. It was so close to her face, now. So close that she only had to move her head a scarce inch. She steeled her nerves as she began to pull the final barrier between her and her prize away, all of her nerves and thoughts screeching at her, singing, calling to the heavens that this was finally really happening. Just a few more centimeters and—
"We're home, my Diamond!" a voice came from the doorway, and the creaking of the front door hinges shattered Tiara's fragile thought process, as panic began to rapidly take ahold.
Her hands, still in the waistband of Silver Bell's boxers, began shaking as though she were holding on to a pneumatic drill. Diamond Tiara pulled her hands away from the boy as though they burned, snapping her head towards the front door. "What? Mom?!"
Her mother looked towards the scene, and her eyes widened. "Oh!
She felt as though she were falling as she saw the disapproving face of her mother. Then, she hit the floor in a tangle of... something. Slowly coming to her senses, she kicked off the duvet fully and looked around. She was back in her room, her mother was indeed standing over her, one eyebrow arched in disapproval, and a bag in her hands. She scoffed and put one hand on her hips. "Honestly, we brought you a set of sleeping clothes for a reason , dear."
Diamond looked down and realised that she was naked. As naked as a newborn babe. As her mind began to process the events currently occurring, she came to the conclusion that she had to have been dreaming. A hand found her forehead to banish the grogginess, and a flush coloured her cheeks once again. She wrapped the covers around her and stood up.
Shaking her head, her mother stepped into the room and set the bag down on the bed. "I brought you something from work. A most adorable shirt with that cartoon rabbit you seem to be so fond of..."
Diamond Tiara let her mother's words fade into the background. That was a dream. A very good dream, but a dream nonetheless. She didn't know whether to be relieved or disappointed. They didn't trash her home, they didn't hate her, they didn't think she was a bitch... but they also weren't ravaging her as she knelt before them.
She shook her head as her mother laid out the outfit she had brought for her daughter on the bed, smiling as she awaited her daughter's reaction, Diamond managed a weak smile and an appreciative nod, which seemed to satisfy her mother, who planted a kiss on her forehead and stepped back towards the door. "Oh, and I see you haven't eaten yet, so we ordered you some pizza. Come down whenever you're ready," she grabbed ahold of the door handle and shut her daughter in.
Diamond Tiara collapsed onto the bed, grabbed a pillow, pressed it to her face, and screamed.

Friday had come all too soon for Tiara's liking. She stared up at the edifice of Canterlot High with trepidation. The statue to her left was supporting all of her weight as she leaned on it, tapping her foot on the concrete below. She was as jittery as Fluttershy was before her entrance exam to veterinarian school. The school seemed much more imposing now than it ever had been. Even when it was infested with three she demons it hadn't felt this wrong. Heck, even seeing the school at night didn't feel this bad.
Taking a deep breath, Diamond Tiara took a single step forward. She didn't get much more than that before a pair of fingers jabbed her in her sides, making her screech, and launch off of the pavement like a rocket. When she came back down, she heard jittery laughter. Turning around, she rolled her eyes when she saw Silver Spoon with her hand covering her mouth, vainly trying to hide her giggles. "Hey there, spacer," she sing-songed.
Tiara tilted her head. "Spacer? What are you talking about?"
Spoon scoffed, placing a finger on Tiara's chest, and flicking upwards. "You had your head so high up you had to be an astronaut."
Tiara batted the offending digit away from her face with a scowl. "I'm just... thinking."
"Oh wow," Spoon crossed her arms. "Stop the presses, she's trying to think for once."
Diamond already felt the sweet tinges of a migraine, tickling the edges of her temples. She brought up two fingers to massage the ache away. "Just stop, please," she begged. "I'm not in the mood,"
Silver Spoon raised an eyebrow. When that didn't work, she lost her smirk, and actually unfurled her arms, stepping up to her longtime friend with a concerned look. "Alright." She nodded. "I'll bite. What's eating you?"
Diamond Tiara looked around, as though watching for any offending ears. She flicked her head to one side, moving away from the statue, as though even it might have ears. Once she was far enough away, she stuck her hands into the pockets of her skinny jeans, gnashing her teeth while she thought of how to broach this subject with her long-term friend. "Have you ever had a crush on someone?" she finally asked, snapping her head up towards Spoon.
The other girl blinked, leaning back away from her slightly-manic friend. "Of course." She spoke as if it were the most obvious answer in the world.
"Have you ever had a crush on three guys at once?" Diamond asked, her voice flat, and monotonous.
"Three?" Spoon took a deep breath, exhaling in a long, drawn-out whistle. "Wow," Spoon said, poking Diamond in the ribs. "That's a little bit greedy, isn't it? There's barely enough to go around as it is."
"I can't help it." Diamond Tiara shrugged in helpless apology. "They're just so..."
Clasping her hands together, Spoon nuzzled her head onto Diamond's shoulder, batting her eyelashes up at the lavender-haired girl. "Dreamy?" she answered in a sing-song.
"Hot!" Diamond stomped her foot in frustration.
"Ah." Silver Spoon stepped away. "So, it's purely physical?"
"Yes," Diamond answered on reflex, before backpedalling. "No!" she lied. Then groaned, then ran a hand through her hair. Her distinctive diadem came away in one hand, and she thumbed it with a nervous brush of her thumbs over the largest jewel. "I don't know..." she trailed off. "It certainly doesn't help that they're the hottest guys in school!" Tiara said, her mind conjuring images of perfect, Adonis-like bodies, and perfect pecs and stunningly smooth skin. Flushing a deep crimson, she shook her head.
Spoon was watching her, a knowing smile splitting her face.
Tiara put her distinctive diadem back onto her head, affixing it to her hair with a small 'harumph'. "They're my friends," she said, in a brusque tone. "I love them all as friends. But I can't help but think; what if we became more?" Diamond's eyes travelled upwards, and away from Spoon. Thoughts invaded her mind again, but instead of their bodies, it was their smiles. Their kind eyes, their laughs. Deep, powerful, but never mean-spirited. All the good they did for the school, all the clubs they used to run at the cost of their grades. Tiara chuckled as she thought of their misguided attempts to find a suitable area of study for their Canterlot High Cutie Marks. They were so proud when they got them, and they always wore them proudly; emblazoned on the front of their bags. "They're so sweet, and kind, and nice, and quirky."
"So now," Spoon held up a hand, "you're standing here dreading going in, because you're gonna have to choose?" She snapped her fingers, confident she had guessed correctly. "Right?"
"No." Diamond shook her head, clutching her bag a bit tighter, and gazing at the entrance to the school. "I'm dreading going in because I'm gonna confess to all three of them, and then let them choose."
Spoon's face fell into a wince. "Ouch. That does sound hard."
"You're not helping." Diamond Tiara scowled.
Spoon rested a hand on Tiara's shoulder, leaning on her much like she would an arm rest. "Well, if it's any consolation, I don't think the Crusaders will hold it against you," she idly said, inspecting the pristine manicure on her other hand.
Tiara stepped away, a deep flush colouring her cheeks once again. "Who said anything about it being them?"
"Oh, please , girl!" Spoon waved a hand, adopting a coquettish look, and raising her voice to a high-pitched facsimile of Tiara's. "'Oh, they're my friends. They're the three hottest guys in school! I couldn't keep my eyes off of them at swim class!'" Smiling cruelly, Spoon looked back at Diamond.
"Shut up!" Tiara hit her friend in the shoulder, just enough to sting.
Spoon laughed, but got it under control rather quickly. "Seriously though, what's stopping you?" she asked. "Like you said, they're sweet. They won't hold a little three-way crush against you,"
Diamond clenched her jaw, a tingle shooting up her spine, rushing through her head with some very alluring, and provocative images. She held up a hand. "Please," she paused, feeling the shiver run back down from her head to her stomach, settling there in a pleasant, thrumming warmth. "Please do not mention three ways, or four ways, or holding against me."
Spoon drew back, her mouth slightly open, and her eyes blinking slowly. "Wow. You've got it real bad, haven't you?"
Diamond tried to retreat into her jacket. It didn't do much to hide her from anyone, especially not the girl next to her. "Little bit," she admitted.
Before either girl could say anything more, the bell rang, signalling that the students had all but five minutes to get to their next class. Diamond and Spoon both looked up towards the bell tower
"Come on. You can't do anything until lunch."
Of course now she stood at the foot of a statue, watching the three of them sitting on of the outside benches, eating lunch. Together. Of course they're together, they just love making my life difficult, don't they? She sighed, and brushed her fingers through her hair. She took a moment to watch them; Scoots was sitting on the tabletop, with his feet down on the bench behind Silver Belle, while Applebuck was sitting across from him. They were all laughing, smiling, and having a good time. Diamond smiled as well, feeling a warm fluttering in her chest. steeling her nerves proved to be the second most difficult thing she had ever done, right behind taking the first lurching step towards the trio. Every step was as agonizing as a trip to the dentist; it wasn't the act she knew was coming, it was the fear. The apprehension and anxiety roiling in her gut, alongside the very distant memory of her dream. A lecherous part of her mind hoped they would be angry, or hoped that they would cast her aside, so she could make it up to them somehow.
Shivering, she sidestepped off of the pavement, and onto the grass with a stumble and a wave of her arms. The act gained the attention of the three guys at the table, who turned to face her with worry on their faces.
Diamond righted herself, and froze under their stares. "Hey guys," she said, waving at them, and continuing her arduous trudge. It was worse now that they were looking at her.
"Good to see you, D," Scoots flashed a warm smiled. When Diamond didn't return it, his disappeared. "What's going on?"
"Yeah, you look a might nervous." Applebuck tilted his head, a soft and inviting smile on his face. The kind of smile that gently encouraged someone to spill their darkest secrets, while conveying that he would never ever spill them to anyone else.
Diamond could have gotten lost in that smile.
"Is everything okay?" Silver Bell asked.
She almost said no, right then and there, but something held her back. Diamond took a deep breath. It was now, or it was never. "I..." she trailed off, gulping around a parched throat. "I just want to apologise," she finally said, turning her head down. If she looked at them, she would never go through with it.
The three crusaders shared looks of varying confusion and concern.
"For what?" Silver Bell asked, tilting his head in confusion. A few strands of his hair dipped low across his eyes, and he tucked them back in the expertly-maintained hairstyle of his.
"For everything," Diamond replied, shaking her head. She could barely think when she was around these three. "For who I used to be."
"Where did this all come from?" Scoots leaned forward off of his perch atop the picnic table. He swung his legs around to face her, dangling them off of the table, where the tips of his shoes just barely brushed the grass.
"Yeah, we thought you'd've moved past that, we've already forgiven you," Applebuck added. His deep baritone made her bones quake.
"I know," she closed her eyes and shook her head, balling her fists. She had to maintain her courage. She was committed now. "It's just... I've been having some feelings lately, and I just can't seem to move on. I thought this would help."
The three Crusaders seemed shocked once again. They looked between themselves, each one nervously twitching. "What kinda feelings?" Scoots asked.
"Well, uh," Tiara faltered, stumbling over her words, and rubbing the back of her head with a hand. "Just, you know, feelings," she ambiguously stated.
"Okay,"Scoots rolled his eyes and shook his head. "You're acting strange now, what exactly is the problem?" He hopped down from the table, and the other two stood up.
Diamond groaned, and balled her fists in frustration. "You guys are!" she erupted, then brought a hand up to her lips.
"Us?" they all chorused at once, sharing confused glances.
"What did we do?" Applebuck asked.
"You acted nice to me!" Tiara continued through her fingers. The levy was broken, and everything she kept bottled up came rocketing out. "You befriended me! You forgave me without a second thought, and now you're acting all caring and sweet! I don't know if I'm just attracted to your bodies or your if I'm just crushing on your personalities, or both, but I just..." she trailed off, collapsing to the bench. She didn't know when she had gotten over there, as she was too focused on their faces morphing from confusion, to worry, then realisation when she all but admitted her crush on them all. Tiara simply sniffled, and wiped at her misty eyes. "I don't know!"
"You're attracted to us?" Silver Bell asked, with a blush tinging his white cheeks.
"That's, uh, not exactly what I was expectin' when I got up this mornin'." Applebuck admitted.
"I'm not really sure what to say." Scoots sat down next to her.
Tiara avoided their eyes. "Just say you never want to see me again."
"Whoa," Scoots held up his hands. "Why would we say that?"
"Because I've ruined our friendship." Tiara choked back a sob. "I'm saying all these weird things, and I'm apologising for the past even though I know you've forgiven me."
"You haven't ruined our friendship," Silver Bell assured her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "You've just taken it to a place we've not considered before."
"Yeah," Applebuck rolled his eyes, jabbing Silver in the ribs. "It's not like we've ever talked about who we would date if we could, especially not at the clubhouse before, or anything."
Silver seethed under his piercing gaze. "That was different. We had a few drinks."
Applebuck nodded at him, mumbling his words back at him. "It's exactly the same and you know it."
Tiara blushed a hot crimson. Her entire face felt like it was on fire.
Scoots groaned, snapping her out of her thoughts. "Don't call it a clubhouse, dude," he complained, shaking his head. "We're not kids anymore,"
"Oh," Silver Bell retreated, holding a pinky finger up to his lips in mock thought, "that's right, what was it again, Scoots? Our 'hideout'?" He accentuated his last word, with a sarcastic brand of venom that Tiara had never seen. His smug grin, and the way that Scoots narrowed his eyes, told her that this was a common occurrence between them.
"Shut it," he growled.
"So, you don't mind?" Tiara meekly asked, getting all of their attentions again.
"Well, it'll probably be a little weird at first, but we can either go past it and let our friendship go back to normal, or..." Applebuck trailed off.
Tiara watched him expectantly as he gazed at the other two Crusaders. "Or, what?" she pressed. They nodded to each other, some silent understanding passing between them.
"Or," Scoots shifted, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "We talk about it more, say, tomorrow at six? Movie? Your place?"
Tiara blinked in shock. Did she... did she just get asked out?! By Scoots?! Internally she was jumping for joy, but externally she was rooted in place like an oak tree.
"Hey, that ain't fair!" Applebuck said.
Scoffing, Scoots waved a dismissive hand his way. "Why?"
Stuttering, Applebuck made vague hand gestures at the pair of them sitting on the bench. "You used your proximity to ask her out," he said.
"Proximity? What are you, Twilight?" Silver chided him.
All alone with Scoots, in her house, on the sofa; a bad romantic comedy, or, more likely for Scoots, a kickass action flick, both of them huddled under a blanket, a bag of popcorn between them, laughing and joking. She smiled at the thought. "A movie sounds nice," Tiara whispered, "but, I don't like just one of you," she continued.
Silver Bell sat down on the bench and placed a hand on top of hers, smiling at her. She could see hope, and a small hint of excitement in his eyes. "Then, we could go out for dinner on Sunday, Rarity has a friend that works at Le Café Rouge," he hummed at Tiara's shocked expression, "we could easily get reservations."
Tiara's mind wandered once again; this time, Silver Bell was in a freshly pressed suit that hugged his slim, sculpted frame. Sitting across from her, Diamond could wear a dress, they would order their meal, they would take, and laugh at the stuffy upper-class people at the other tables, she shook her head, and came back to the present. "That could be nice," she said, clearing her throat and wringing her fingers.
"Oh great," Applebuck folded his arms. "And what am I stuck with? 'Oh, Diamond, would a high-class gal like you wanna take a walk through our apple orchard for the fiftieth time'?" He scoffed.
Tiara thought about it. The orchard, at sunset, with her hand entwined in his, they would stop to admire the view, he would turn, brush a strand of hair out of her eyes, and lean down to steal a kiss under an apple tree. "Don't sell yourself short, Buck." Tiara reached forward and slapped his thigh jovially. "I wouldn't mind that, especially at sunset. Your orchard has always been beautiful."
"Oh." Applebuck cleared his throat. "Well, alrighty then, it's a date."
"As for the whole apologising thing," Silver chimed, sparing Applebuck from further embarrassment, "no one really stops feeling guilty about stuff, you just have to learn to deal with it, I suppose."
"Yeah, I still feel guilty for putting itching powder in Rainbow's wondercolts uniform," Scoots said, snickering as he did so.
"When was that?"
"About three weeks ago. Buck dared me to do it!"
"I did not!" Applebuck drew back at the accusation.
"You totally did!" Scoots pointed at him. "You even got the powder from Silver Bell!"
Thinking about it a little more, Bucks eyes rolled up slightly. He appeared to find the memory, because he chuckled to himself. "Oh yeah, that was great."
"The point is we've all done stuff we regret." Bell brought the conversation back on track. "What's important is that we don't let it control us." he picked up her hand, and gave it an affirming squeeze.
"But I don't know if I really like you like that ," Tiara looked down at Silver's hand as she spoke, mentally chiding herself for her poor use of words. "I don't know if it's just a mixture of guilt and gratitude making me want to... make it up to you somehow."
Silver Bell sighed, letting her hand go while he thought about it.
Each crusader seemed to be in the same boat, until Scoots snapped his fingers. "Wait!" he said. "I have a way we could check,"
"What—mpf!" Tiara was cut off by a pair of lips pressing against hers. The shock of the touch made her eyes go wide, and her body go rigid like a board. She shuddered as Scoot's lips moved with hers in a sensual dance, his tongue lightly pressing at her lips. The sweet taste of sugar filled her mouth.
When she didn't move, he pulled back, smiling at her in that damn confident, sexy way he always did when he won. "Anything?" he asked, one hand still cupping her chin.
Tiara blinked. One of her eyes went lazy, and she shook her head a little to catch up. Her brain was still fogged, and she could only muster a few noises that barely counted as words. "I don't—"
"Maybe she needs another," Applebuck said, his rough, calloused hand gently cupping her cheek, turning her face towards him. His lips mashed against hers roughly, and Tiara squeaked at the raw power behind it. His hand swept back into her hair, pushing her ever closer. This time, when a tongue asked for entry, she parted her lips. His tongue snaked into her mouth, roughly wrestling with hers for dominance; a fight that she quickly lost. Her eyes fluttered, promptly closing as the electric sensations ran up and down her spine. Cinnamon she thought. He tastes like cinnamon.
He pulled back, tilting his head. "Well?"
She continued to say nothing. Her eyes finally opened, clouded and glazed over. Was this really happening?
"One more, just to be sure," a third voice said. Tiara was too out of it to notice porcelain white skin, or an almost chaste peck on her lips. When she did notice Silver Belle's lips on her own, she closed her eyes once more, and melted into the embrace. Whereas Scoots had been equal to her, focused more on the act itself, and Applebuck had been the more dominant, Silver Bell was gentle. He was loving—he was everything she imagined. His lips, his almost-anxious probing tongue, the minty taste he left behind, all of it was perfect.
When he tried to pull away, Tiara followed his movements until she stumbled, forced to break the kiss by gravity. Roughly snapped back into reality, she pulled back, settling back down on the bench, with a hand up to her lips. She could still taste each and every one of them.
Bell smiled. "Still think it's just guilt? Or is there a little something else there, too?"
Tiara swayed in place, her eyes staring off into the distance. "Diamond Tiara isn't in right now, would you like to make an appointment?"
Scoots laughed. Silver Bell waved his hands in front of her eyes. "I think we broke her," he said.
"W-wait," Tiara shook her head, licking her lips. Mint, Cinnamon and Sugar shouldn't have tasted so good. "You're okay with me dating all of you?"
"It doesn't bother us," Applebuck said, nodding at the other two in confirmation. "I definitely like you enough to see where this could go."
"I'm not great with the whole mushy romance stuff, but," Scoots sighed. "I'll give it a try,"
"I've always sorta had a crush on you anyway." Silver flushed red.
Tiara looked down at her hands. "Am I still dreaming or something?"
Scoots pinched her cheek.
"Ow!" she yelped, hitting his shoulder. "Jerk!"
"Well you're not dreaming," he said.
Before she could say anything else, the bell rang behind them. Students from all over the field and the campus began walking back towards the building.
"Come on," Silver said to everyone. "If we're late again, Miss Cheerilee will have us all in detention."
Applebuck offered Diamond his hand. She took it, and felt his powerful muscles pulling her up. Scoots walked close to her, one hand around her hips, while Silver Bell was content to hold her free hand. Diamond allowed herself to be lead back into the school, a goofy grin on her face.
Things were starting to get interesting.

See, the problem with writing is that it is very much based on motivation. All within the span of one month, my computer broke, my cat died, and my family was struck with financial issues. That being said, do enjoy. I didn't plan on this becoming a longer story, but methinks each one of the Crusaders deserves his own chapter. Followed by something special at the end.
Diamond paced to and fro in her house, checking the clock every five minutes, and her pocket mirror every two. She had to make sure everything was perfect; anything less and the whole day would be ruined. Her makeup; perfect, her hair—top notch. Her clothes... well, they were about as simple as she dared make them, but it was just Scoots.
She hit herself gently. It was a date with Scoots. But, then again, they weren't going anywhere, and it wasn't like she had to wear a dress or a ball gown in her own house. Casual wear seemed the most appropriate. She gripped the hem of her tee shirt and pulled it down over her midriff. It stopped just above the waistline of her jeans, leaving her navel exposed, and a deeper neck line than usual displayed a healthy line between her breasts. She chewed her bottom lip. Maybe it was too revealing. Maybe Scoots was traditional, and would think she was trying to seduce him.
She considered the possibility. Her opening the door, his eyes roving over her body, drinking her in, stepping into her house and forcing her to step back into the foyer, pressing the advantage and kicking the door shut with his foot. He would keep going until her back was up against the wall, then he would grab her shoulders, pull himself close so their bodies were touching, and lean his head down for a kiss.
Shaking herself out of her most recent fantasy, Tiara's face flushed as she resumed her pacing motions. Calm down, Tiara, it's just a date. He's not expecting THAT and even if he was, you're not that kind of girl.
You absolutely WANT to be, though.
She groaned at that last part. Maybe she should go change.
No, she shook her head. This was Scoots. He wouldn't care what she wore, maybe he wouldn't think anything of it. It was just a movie, she and the crusaders had done this a half dozen times before, just, never alone. That's all this was; Scoots coming over to hang out, nothing more.
She groaned and put her hands on the side of her head. Except it was something more, wasn't it? There was a very real possibility that this could put them into a very real, very romance-based relationship, rather than their current platonic friendship.
She realised she hadn't been looking at the clock. She cast her eyes to one side, and found it was 5:30. Cursing, her pacing grew a bit more frantic. Tiara chewed her nails, but stopped when she realised she was at very real danger of ruining her perfect manicure.
Forcing herself to stop, Diamond took a deep breath. Yes, this was a date. Yes, this was a date with her semi-long term crush Scoot. Or, one semi long-term crush. But the worst thing that could possibly happen was that they parted that day as friends, and nothing more. Her feelings for him could be laid to rest, as well as the annoying, ever present desire to just drop to her knees whenever he so much as smiled in her direction—
A knock at the door shattered her from her musings of her bodily position relative to his, and she looked towards the door in panic. Her heart leapt into her throat, and she rushed towards the white door, smoothing down her hair, fixing her clothes, and taking a deep breath before opening the door with a smile.
Scoots stood on the other side, wearing an orange bomber vest, salmon coloured undershirt, and matching orange shorts. He was an eyesore to say the least, but with his hair colour matching his shirt, it was a rather fetching sort of eyesore. She smiled even wider when she saw that, in one hand, was a grocery bag full of various snack foods.
He waved. "Hey, T." He hefted the bag. "I bought snacks, some soda, and," he held up his other hand, where a DVD case was pressed between his thumb and forefinger. He twisted his hand, and the case morphed into two. "Two movies. Action, and rom-com."
Tiara tilted her head. "Two?"
"Well, you know," He tilted his head to and fro. "I know you like rom coms, but I'm mostly about the action, so." He shrugged. "Something for both of us."
Diamond smiled at his thoughtfulness, and stepped to one side for him to enter. "Well, let's go ahead and get the rom-com out of the way first, I don't want to torture you for too long," she quipped.
Scoots made a face. "Ugh, fine."
"Think of it like a band-aid," she said, nudging him as they walked past the stairs, and into her open plan living/kitchen area. "Rip it off now, or suffer later."
"I guess." He looked down at her with a grin. "Totally not because you don't want to sit through Mad Max, huh?"
"Ugh." Tiara echoed his noise, rolled her eyes, and detached from his side. "I'll grab a bowl or two for the snacks. You put on the movie," she said.
He nodded, and strolled over to where her large TV was mounted on the wall. She stepped around the obsidian-topped counter, opened her cupboards, and picked out a lime green plastic bowl for the popcorn, and a pink one for the pretzels. Walking back over to the couch, she found that Scoots had situated himself square against one of the arms, and motioned for her to join him. The two seater was rather small, and she put the bowls on the glass coffee table before sitting down next to him.
He picked up the remote, hit play, and popped the bags open, pouring the pretzels into the lime bowl, and the popcorn into the pink. He picked up a few kernels of popcorn and popped them into his mouth, starting to crunch.
Tiara settled herself into the couch, picked up a pretzel, and began nibbling on it as the opening logos gave way to the opening scene of the movie.
Scoots said he didn't like the romantic movies, but Tiara saw him watching intently. Even more so than her. He would never admit it to anyone, but what he really liked in a film was a good story, not just explosions and action, not thrilling chases and mystery. Which is why, in this story of unrequited love across two different couples in two separate continents, he was thoroughly engrossed.
Around halfway through, Tiara found she was inching herself closer during the more romantic scenes. A heartfelt confession in the rain had her place a hand on his knee. He looked down at it, and simulated a yawn, before throwing his arm over the back of the couch. He looked at it, then at Tiara, and moved it a bit so he was closer to her.
She looked at him. "Really? The yawn and arm thing?" She looked at him. "That's the most date-y thing you've done so far," she ribbed him gently. "I give you points for the classical approach."
He sighed and leaned forward a bit. "Sorry, I'm just not good with romance."
"You asked me out, you know," Diamond said with a good-natured smile.
He nodded and rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, yeah, it seemed like the cool thing to do." His eyes went wide as he fully grasped the implications of what he'd just said. "N-not that I mean that in a pity-date sort of way," he quickly said to her. "Like, I thought it would make me look cool, but that's not to say I don't want to date you! I really like you! I mean, well—"
Tiara took pity on the poor boy, and placed two delicate fingers over his lips to silence him. "It was incredibly suave." She leant in and placed a kiss on his cheek. "And I appreciated it."
"Suave," Scoots tested the word and looked away from her, brows furrowing as he adorably attempted to parse the word with its meaning in his head. Eventually he gave up, and looked back at her with an expectant, quirked eyebrow. "That means cool, right?"
Tiara put a hand in front of her lips and giggled behind it. "Yes it means cool," she said, before resting her head on his shoulder.
He hesitated for a split second before wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "Thanks," he said.
Tiara bit her lip. Resting her head on his bicep, she could really feel how toned he was. The definition of his muscles—she shifted in place and pressed her ear to his shirt. The thumb of his heartbeat was like a bass drum. She gulped nothing but air, as her mouth had suddenly gone very dry. She licked her lips, and shifted in her seat.
"You know..." Tiara began, her hands shaking slightly. Scoots looked down at her, and she looked up at him with an odd glint in her eyes. "This doesn't have to be any different than any other time we hang out, if you're nervous."
He gulped as well, and cleared his throat. "Yeah, but it's just us, and it's meant to be a date."
"So what?" Diamond said. "That doesn't mean we have to be nervously batting our eyelashes at each other, we're just best friends watching a movie."
Scoots considered it for a moment, before nodding. "I guess. It just doesn't feel like a date," he said, scratching at a piece of lint on his shorts.
Diamond stroked his chest, and he looked down at her hand with a sharp, surprised twist of his head.
"I know how to fix that." Diamond purred.
Scoots clenched his jaw. "How?" He stammered. Diamond pretended to ignore it.
"Well, it's a movie date, so, we get to make out during the boring parts," she said.
Scoots flushed, and took a look at the screen. The two characters were in the middle of a rather passionate kiss themselves, and he could see Diamond's eyes; deep pools that drew his attention back to them, out of the corner of his vision.
He shrugged, and looked back at her with a wry little grin. "The whole movie is kinda boring, you know."
Diamond's smile grew to an almost predatory sort of grin, one that made Scoots think he had just walked right into her machinations. "Well," she purred, stroking his chest a little. "What are we waiting for, then?"
Scoots drifted closer, closing the gap between them in an instant. He cupped Diamond's face with a gentle hand, and placed a kiss upon her soft lips. She melted into his embrace, throwing her hands around his head, and cradling him close. Her lips parted, and with a laboured breath their tongues mingled with each other. She felt an incredibly sweet taste wash over her tongue, and all of a sudden her every thought was consumed with the wonderful man in front of her.
She growled into his mouth and pushed him back into the couch, straddling his waist and placing both of her hands on his cheeks, and attacking his lips with even greater ferver. Scoots let out a rumbling purr, and his hands trailed over her shoulders, down her sides, and landed squarely on her hips.
Tiara broke the kiss as the need to breathe over rode her desire to keep her lips against his. He opened his eyes and looked up at her.
Diamond reached back and undid the hair tie on her ponytail. "Now does it feel like a date?" She asked, her hair cascading down to her shoulders.
Scoots smiled, his hands cupped her ass, and he nodded. "Definitely."
They lunged at each other for another kiss, and the movie was left forgotten in the background.

IT'S ALIVE! I T ' S A L I V E !
Diamond Tiara was almost running down the road. As soon as the bus doors opened she had hit the pavement, jogging down the street and away from the three boys who had been tormenting her these past few weeks. Nothing as nefarious as bullying, no, she could certainly handle herself on that front, and even then she had been keeping her head down lately. Ever since the CMC stopped her from becoming student council president, she had been trying to act a bit friendlier towards everyone.
It was still a chore, and she had to bite her tongue more often than not. Even then, she just couldn't resist her prime targets; the CMC themselves. Nothing as mean as calling them flank-heads, or blank-flanks, and not only because they had earned their Scout Marks already. Just minor jabs, quips here and there. Still, she knew she often took things too far, but she just couldn't help it. She couldn't just flip a switch and become someone else. The Crusaders took it in stride, however, when they did take the time to hang out with her, and they gave back as good as they got most of the time. The three boys were always good at defending themselves against her, and even now when she had toned it down from stinging barbs, to more lighthearted quipping, they had continued to make their own jabs. Her hair, her name, and her blind ambition were all subjects of good-natured ridicule.
Still, she was running for a different reason. She had physical education that day, and the teacher thought it would be a good idea to crack open the keys to the school's pool, and give them all swimming lessons. Scoots, the athlete as always, jumped at the idea. Abblebuck and Silver Bell had been a bit more cautious about the idea, especially considering it was the middle of winter.
The point is, everyone was in their swimming costumes. Everyone. The boys were a mixture of trunks, and some shirts from the more self-conscious, but the three crusaders had decided to pack their shorts for that day, and she got a proper eyeful. Three eyefuls—from three very handsome boys. She had no idea when they had become so hot! When the hell had that happened? More importantly, when did she develop crushes on them?
She didn't know. What she did know is that she had been blushing for the rest of the day, from PE in the morning until maths at night, she had been flushed red, and any time she had a moment to herself, or a moment to think about schoolwork, her thoughts would always go back to seeing the trio in their swimming trunks.
Scoots had been sculpted, to near Adonis-proportions. That's what he got for hanging out with Rainbow all day, she supposed. The older, rainbow-haired one probably had Scoots doing PT in the morning and evening, add to that the myriad of after-school clubs he attended, it was no wonder that the man had muscles like marble.
She made it to her home, storming through the door and slamming it shut. She rested her back on it as though closing it may block out all the thoughts creeping into her head. Her cheeks were nearly crimson, and it was slowly spreading down, almost to her collarbone. She felt an uncomfortable hotness, as though she had fever, just lower down, and more towards the front.
