It has been many years since Princess Twilight Sparkle's coronation, and her becoming an alicorn. The first few years were a blast for both her and her friends, but, as more time passed, the consequences of immortality begin to shine through.

Now, with Twilight's friends all gone, she must face the responsibilities and burdens of helping to rule Equestria alongside the Princess of the Sun and the Princess of the Night. But not without facing many sleepless nights full of cruel nightmares.
