The Beginning of a Freindship
"Luna,have you noticed Rainbow Dash lately?" said Celestia while taking a look at the element of loyalty. "Why yes. She has been rather nice has she not dear sister? Nothing I would expect from an egoistic mare like her." Luna replied. Ever since Twilight had become an Alicorn, Celestia has wondered who would be next. So far she decided to put her bits on Rainbow Dash. She was after all the most Loyal of the six. Plus she was always making her own rules and taking risks. Celestia was easily impressed by stuff like this. "You see, I was thinking we should reward her. Maybe something we dont find all that important anymore. She would probably find a good use for it. And call me crazy, but I believe she might be next." Celestia spoke. Luna was confused. Never had her sister decided to make a pony an alicorn just because of a reason like this. But Celestia was older than Luna, and being a kind little sister, Luna decided to see exactly how this would go. "Maybe we can find something we have not used in a while." Celestia searched high and low for something to give to Rainbow Dash. Thats when she saw it.
Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash was having a busy day. She finally got through her work and was able to settle down at home. "Gee. What a day." She chuckled to herself, "Any more and my wings might pop off.". Rainbow Dash has been rather cheerful lately. Recently her friends have been spending more time with her making her feel friendly. But however, she has still been feeling lonely. Her best friend Twilight has been living in the kingdom ever since there latest adventure. She has been craving a new friend to fill this hole in her heart. Then she heard the door. Opening it, she was more than happy to see her good friend Derpy. And she seemed to be carrying a big package."Hi Derpy!What you got for me?More fan mail?"Rainbow Dash asked."Hi Rainbow Dash!No.Sorry.You have a package from someone.The mailer wanted to keep anonymous.Where should I put it?"Derpy replied.Rainbow Dash let her in.For a Pegasus,Derpy was rather strong to hold that humongous package. After signing the form,Derpy left and Rainbow Dash was left with this enormous box. Rainbow Dash decided to open it later, She had a job to do. So as she left her house, she took one more look at the package, wondering what it could be.
Meanwhile, In the Equestria Girls™ universe, Human Rainbow Dash (Which from now on will be represented by Dash to avoid confusion) was in the lunch room,ready to show her friends something she recently made. Dash being the most athletic of the gang was always coming up with new ideas for sports, health and so-on and so-forth. Today she came up with an idea that she thought her friends would really like. "Alright,whats the commotion about Dash?" Human Applejack asked. "Girls,I may have cracked it. Ive finally worked it out. You know how we never get enough time to eat an entire breakfast because school starts to soon? It can make us unhealthy, a little ill in the head and stomach and can even affect the personality like making you impatient. But of course that also happens when you dont eat enough food either so it really-" Dash said before she was cut-off by Human Trixie. "Shut up and get to the point, Rainbow Trash!" She said. "Beloved students of Equestrian High...And Trixie. I present to you the next new fad soon to go on the menu of this cafeteria! The breakfast sandwich!" Dash said as she got a small sandwich from her bag. It looked like it was full of grease. "Its what you usually have for breakfast all put into a sandwich. It has bacon, a sausage, one egg and instead of bread, I used two pieces of buttered toast." They all look impressed (except Trixie who couldnt bother). "Oh, you mean another way for you to get fat?" Trixie replied. "Im not fat! Im fit! Two totally different things!" Dash replied angrily. "Oh like you would know Rainbow Trash. Have you even tried eating it yet?" Trixie asked. Dash thought. Now she could get revenge, and crack a laugh wile doing it to. "Actually no. I havent. And your going to be the first guinea pig! Now shove this into your face!" Dash said as she force-fed Trixie her small little sandwich. Everyone laughed (Except Dash who was siting there smug). "What do you think Trixie?" Dash said smugly. Trixie was enraged! "Youl here about this in your report Lamebow Trash!!!" She screamed. "You know what your problem is Trixie?" Dash said. "Your always calling people names and never show good respect to anyone. Maybe thats why people hate you so much. You think just reporting my name to Principal Celestia will scare me? "Oooooooooooooooh,Im in trouble! My life is over!".Think about someone who ISNT you for once! Yeah,I can talk about me a fair bit too,but at least I care about people and just don`t leave them in a matter of death crisis." Dash Explained.
"What do you mean Lamebow Trash?" Trixie said. "Im saying your not a real good girl. Let me explain...through song!And better than that..." Dash said as she borrowed Vinyls boom-box. "...Through Rap!" She said as she turned the boom-box on.
Oh,hello! Take a seat young Trixie. Cause I think I got your problem. Oh I see. It appears here that it says your alone and you have no friends. But who cares about you honey? Cause Dashies giving you a run for your money. So just sit there while I own you. Cause Im awesome,but what else is new? So let me explain! Aint no quitting so dont save your game! This rap dont pause so dont press start again. Your on hardcore mode my friend. Just sit there while I drop a rhyme. I dont care on how much time I waste. But dont cry Trixie. Theres no point in crying over spilt milk. Now just tell me, how does this make you feel. Im the awesome-st girl you ever seen. The best dang woman you`ll ever meet. Even your little kiddies picture me in there dreams. Which makes me the most wanted one to be!
Everyone (Except Trixie who was dumbfounded) cheered. "Wow. She just stood up to a bully in rap." Applejack said. "So what do you think Trixie?" Dash said. Trixie was still speechless. All she could do is leave the room. "Thanks everyone. And I`ll see you all on parent teacher night tonight." Dash said as she left the room. After the bell went, It was back to normal classes.
"Ummmm,You wanted to see me Principal Celestia?"" Dash said. She was currently in Principal Celestias office. Finding out if she was in trouble or not was only a matter of time. "Why yes I did Rainbow Dash." She said. "Oh,god" Dash said, with an almost nervous tonne in her voice "Am I in trouble?". "Trouble? Ha,ha,ha! For once not!" Celestia answered with a laugh. "I just wanted to tell you I have been seeing such good work in you recently. And I wanted to thank you in a way. So here." She continued as she got a small present from her desk. "What is it?" Dash said as she un-wrapped it. She wasnt expecting something to big as the present was no bigger than a matchbox. "It may not seem like much, but believe me. Youll need it one day." Celestia said with a smile. Dash opened the box to see what looked like a gold coin. Confused for a moment, Dash wondered what it was and how she could use it. "Thanks! I think." She said as she put the unknown gold object into her bag. "Your kindly welcome. You may be dismissed." Celestia said. Dash left the room with her head still floating full of questions. "Rainbow Dash!" Said an unknown voice. It was Golden Feather and her crew! "Oh crap!" Dash thought. "You got our dough Dash?" Golden Feather said. Golden Feather was considered sort of like the bully to put all bullies to shame. In ponyville, shes classified as the ponyville loan shark. She only lets the ponys go if she gets what she wants. Theres only one thing she cares about and thats money! She even burned down Applejack's barn just because she didn`t pay her fifty bits!

Anyway, back to the story. "Heres all of my lunch money. Now please let me go!" Dash said. "Oh,I dont think so. You see, Ive never been the one of the merciful types. So I think you should suffer some more." Gold said. "Aw,come one Gold! Theres gotta be a limit to you and your antics! Please, you know my mom and dad died!" Dash said. It had been almost 3 years since Dashs parents had passed away. But Gold didnt care. This just opened more to her way of tormenting her. "Awwww,you miss your mommy and daddy Dashie?" Gold said. "Grandma make it all better. But I aint grandma!" She laughed out as Dash started to cry. "Hey Gold! Theres something in her bag!" Silver Lining said. Silver was basically Golds right hand girl. "Yeah! And it be shiny too!" Bronze Medal said. Bronze was sort of like the dopey of the gang. Just picture Derpy but not cute and without that eyes thing. "Ah-ha! Whats this?" Gold said taking the thing from her bag. "Hey, give it!" Dash screamed. "Whats this then?" Gold asked. "Looks like a coin gold!" Silver answered. "Celestia gave that to me! you have no right to take it!" Dash yelled, starting to get sadder with every word she spoke. "A coin? From Principal Celestia? It would be a shame if something bad happened to it! Now would it?" Gold said. " *gasp* Dont you dare!" Dash said, almost ready to burst into tears. But before she could say one more word, Gold threw the coin. It raised into the air and fell to the ground with a plunk. It rolled on its side until it was near the vent. "No, no no!" Dash said. But it was to late. It slipped right through one of the cracks, impossible to reach. "NO!!!" Dash yelled. She ran right over to grab it. But there was no point. It would be impossible to grab it without having to un-screw the screws on the vent plate. Then Dash did something she thought she would never do in her life.
She cried.
"You have a week to get me another 10 bucks! You hear me!?" Gold said. Then the gang left, but just before Silver could kick Dash in the ass. Dash just sat there letting out tears. No one dared to ask why because they already knew the reason. Dash wasnt the only victim of there antics. So far they sold Fluttershys pet bunny Angel to a bunch of foreigners, Tore apart every last one of Raritys dresses and even ruined one of Pinkies cakes which dosent seem like much, but come on. Its freaking Pinkie Pie, we all know how she would deal with it. Dash eventually managed to get up and run away, forgetting about the coin for a few seconds. She went outside to the statue in the park. Sunset Shimmer was busy cementing the bricks together. But Dash came running and knocked down her pile.
"Hey, I just fixed that!"Sunset yelled."I`m sorry, Sunset."Dash said, with a bulge of sadness in her throat. Sunset was confused. Normally ever since Twilight left, the rest have been treating her like dirt. Sunset forgot about the bricks and thank for a while. Then Dash left. Still thinking, she realized with a shiver in her spine. "Oh no. Not Golden Feather. Not even Dash deserves something like that!"
Dash ran the the statue in the middle of the park.This was the way how her old friend Twilight came into her life. "Dont get me wrong. I love my friends as they are. But I just wish that I had a friend that could understand me. Someone who was just exactly like me. Would she feel my pain? I hope." She whispered to herself. But If like an answer to her prayers the statue glowed blue behind her. Dash didnt notice however. As she sunk in, the closer she was to a certain pony soon be her new best friend.
Back in the my little pony universe, Rainbow Dash (who will be represented by "Rainbow" to avoid confusion) just came home. Luckily it was the weekend and she didnt have to do any work. " \*sigh\* What a week. Oh well, two days to kickback and relax!" Rainbow said. Slightly a little bored, she looked around trying to find something to do. She had already just read the latest Daring Do book and had already drank as much cider she could drink. Then she noticed the package. She went up to it. It was certainly big. Not big enough for a wagon but to big for a Daring Do book. Unwrapping the paper wrapped gift, she was nearly done when suddenly, something poped out from the package! This strange creature was sleeping on the floor, knocked out. Rainbow couldnt believe it! Celestia sent her something she has never seen before. She looked back at the package. "The mirror from the Canterlot Castle?" Rainbow wondered. It was true. The mirror from one of her friends adventures to another world. It was used enter the new dimension. She looked back at this...thing. "These things must be the ones that populate the other dimension. Uh-oh. I gotta take care of this thing. She looks like she`s knocked out." Rainbow said, starting to worry. Without thinking twice, Rainbow picked up Dash. "Gee, your kinda heavy." She said. She took her upstairs and into her room to lay Dash on her bed. "What is this thing? 5 extra limbs on her hooves? Extra hair on mane? Two little bally- things attached to her chest? What is it?" Rainbow thought to herself.
However, Dash seemed to wake up. She took a look at the pony in front of her. "Huh? Must be having a dream." Dash said, still half asleep. "Ummm, no. I think your more awake then ever." Rainbow said. Dash took a moment to think what was happening. She jumped out of bed. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! What are you doing!!!??? Who are you!!!??? Horses cant talk!!!" She screamed. "Whoa. Do NOT call me a horse! I am a pony! PO-NY!!!" Rainbow yelled angrily. "Well, ponies cant talk either!" Dash said, still scared. "Whats going on!? Where am I!? Who are you!?" Dash asked confused. "Calm down! Your in Ponyville and welcome to my awesome cloud mansion! My name is Rainbow Dash. The fastest pegasus in Equestria!" Rainbow said. "Rainbow Dash? But MY name is Rainbow Dash!" Dash said. "Really? Oh man. How about we call you Dash and we call me Rainbow." Rainbow said. " \*sigh\* Fine! Sorry, but this is the first time I ever met a talking pony with wings in a mansion in the clouds." Dash explained. "I can see that." Rainbow told. The two look at each-other for a while. "Im getting on the wrong hoof arent I?" Rainbow asked "Ill explain. Basically your in a place named Equestria. Its where all the ponies like me live. You just came out that mirror there.My friend Twilight went to YOUR world in this mirror. You must of been sleeping on the other way back to Equestria." Rainbow explained. "wait. Did you say Twilight?" Dash asked. "Ummm. Yes I did." Rainbow said. Dash smiled. "That must mean shes here! Im friends with Twilight!" Dash yelled happily. "Really? AWESOME!!! Hay, you know what? I know we just met and everything, but I think we could be awesome friends." Rainbow yelled, also happily. "Really? Wow. Thanks. Ive really been looking for a friend thats exactly like me. But one question. Where will I sleep? I think its starting to get kinda late." Dash asked. "We can share my bed. It IS real comfy, Ill admit." Rainbow replied. "That sounds kinda gay. But I guess Its better than nothing." Dash said, a little curious. "Alright. Hop in bed." Rainbow said. Dash pulled up the covers and slid her thin body into the bed. Surprisingly, she managed to fit as if it were just her size. But she decided not to question it. "I just hope we dont wake up like in Trains,Planes and Automobiles." Dash said. "Um, Trains, Planes and What?" Rainbow asked. "Its a movie. Pretty good one too." Dash said. Rainbow gave a face to make it seem like she understand-ed. "Sure,whatever. Good night." Rainbow said as she went to sleep. Dash rolled her back against Rainbow and thought to herself "I think i`m gonna like it here."
Morning had arrived in Equestria. Dash seemed to be stuck in some sort of dream date with her boyfriend Soarin."Oh, I love you Soarin." She whispered to herself.Even though this was a dream, she was really kissing something. The back of Rainbows head. "Tee-hee. Stop it Soarin, that tickles." Rainbow squealed. Dash opened her eyes and with a jump, she woke up Rainbow. It took them a few minutes for them to say anything. "See? I told you it was gay!" Dash said, breaking the silence. "Were you kissing the back of my head?" Rainbow asked. "For a moment it was Soarins lips." Dash said. "Wait, theres a Soarin in your universe too?" Rainbow asked Dash. "Why yes. There is.What are we gonna do? Call him "in" in my universe?" Dash joked. "Whatever, just wash your clothes. They stink." Rainbow said. Dash took a sniff and without speaking she went downstairs to find an empty room to get un-dressed. Rainbow decide to walk down. "Hey, so just a few questions about you "humans". Do you eat other things? Because if you dont like fruit, hay or pie thats gonna be a problem. Also, how do you tell each other apart from Female and Male?" She asked. She opened the door Dash was in and with one sight, all she could say was "Oh. Is that how?". Dash, couldnt respond to this awkward situation so she just closed the door slowly.
"Okay, so were can I wash my clothes?" Dash asked. "Just give them to me. I can drop them of by my friend Raritys house. Shes great with clothes." Rainbow explained. "You mean...you take my clothes to her? Well what will I do? I cant spend the rest of the day naked!" Dash hesitated. "Hold on. You can wear this." Rainbow said with a solution. She slid her spare wonderbolts costume under the door. Dash put it on and to her surprise, she fitted! It was amazing how she could actually fit in with the pony world even tough it all seemed so smaller to her. "This fits amazingly well! Hey, Rainbow you head off, Ill just wait here." Dash said with a bit of amazement in her voice. Rainbow left and Dash was alone. She explored the house to see what to do. Eventually she came across a book on top of a shelf. Picking it up and blowing the dust away, she read the title "A short history of Equestria". Dash decided this would be a good resource to find out some of the most important things she will need to know about Equestria, so as she gave a shrug she opened the book and started to read.
"Chapter 1: Celestia banishes her Sister. "
"It was the year of 10 centuries ago. The evil king of nightmares, Sombra had infiltrated the Canterlot kingdom. Celestia and Luna, our fellow princesses of the galaxy, could not see his menacing plan to confront them. It is unknown why Sombra hates Celestia and Luna so much but people believe that this was because of a personal hatred similar to "Romeo and Juliet". Sombras plan was to poses the body of Celestias dear sister and take over Equestria. As Lunas back was turned, Sombra leaped to life and jumped into Lunas body. With no more than the blink of an eye, Luna was possessed. Celestia shortly found herself in a battle with her dear sister. Knowing she could not kill her as she was to much of a family to do so, she thought of only the best thing she could without physically harming her by banishing her to the moon for one thousand years.
From that day and throughout now, Rumors have been spreading that Celestia did not do this to protect Equestria but as a prank. These mares and stallions known as part of the "Lunar Republic" try to bring Celestia down and lower her goodwill. In Layman's terms, They try to prove that Celestia is evil and will take anything as evidence. A small prank to being defeated in battle to even what season of the year she likes. The Lunar Republic have detached Celestia and Luna away from each-other. But however, The carriers of harmony are shown to attach them back together. However, There still seems to be no ends to the Lunar Republics made-up rumors."
"Celestia can`t be evil. She would never hurt a fly unless she had no choice. The Lunar Republic only want attention. I myself do not ever see there being any evil in Celestia"

Dash put the book down. She had only read one chapter and was already amazed. "Wow. Poor Celestia. How dare the Lunar Republic just decide shes evil just because of that! Its all here, black and white! Did they even do any research? Well, I did and when I see this Celestia folk I`m gonna give her what she needs! All the love in the world." She said. And she opened the book and continued to read.
Eventually, the afternoon came and Dash had read the whole book. As Rainbow entered her home to greet Dash, she was astonished to see her reading. "Hay Dash! Sorry I was gone for so long. I was REALLY held up in a line. I was lucky enough to get there before she closed.Anyway, she says she would like to see you in person. She likes your clothes and wants to see what you look like with them on." Rainbow said.Dash wasn`t really paying attention, but however she agreed that she would. "Sure Rainbow. I can head over to your friends place tomorrow."
"Sweet!" Rainbow said. She took a look at Dashes book. "So what are you reading?" She asked. Dash put the book down and yawned. It had been a big day for her and all she did was read. "Uh, The History of Equestria. I was thinking that since Im gonna stay here for a while I may as well brush up on some of Equestrias back story. This book has everything! From Celestia banishing her sister to Twilights alicorn-ization. Wait. So in your universe, Twilights an alicorn? My friend is a princess in this universe? Oh my god. Oh my god! Ive been hanging out with Royalty! I dont believe it! Well, I also dont believe Im speaking to a flying rainbow pony and that Im sitting in a couch in a mansion in the clouds reading a book about a alternate universe but still, Royalty!". Rainbow looked at her with a smile "Heh. You seem rather amazed by that. Ive been hanging out with her for like 5 years now. Shes an awesome friend. I guess were both really lucky to have her.". "We really are. Hey, do you mind if I sleep on the couch tonight? Its not that I dont like you, Its just that I think i could just probably read some more." Dash said. Rainbow smiled again and laughed "Sure buddy. Nights coming anyway. I`ll leave the light on for you. Night." Rainbow said as she went upstairs. Dash got into a comfortable position and opened the next book. "The Secrets of the Alicorn Princess. Awesome!"
"Oh Rainbow Dash I am absolutely amazed to see your friend for the first time. Her clothes were so amazing that I had to make them my size for myself. They were in such an odd shape however, It was hard to make them a pony size for me. Which is strange because it was very easy to make them your friends shape. Oh, sorry. I`m talking to much. Show me your new friend darling." Rarity said.
Rainbow was at the Carousel Boutique with her friend Rarity ready to show off Dash to her. "Yeah, well heads up. Shes not the average pony. In fact shes far from pony really." Rainbow said with a giggle. "Ummm, Excuse me? What do you mean?" Rarity asked with a confused face. "Oh youll see." Rainbow replied with a blush "Hey Dash! Shes ready!". Dash heard her words and knew this was her signal to get moving. As the doors opened and the young teenage human stepped inside, she was interested to see someone who wasnt Rainbow. "Well hey there. You must be Rarity. Your friend told me all about you.". Rarity was dead in her tracks. She could not believe her eyes on what she saw. "You...look...FABULOUS!!!!!I DONT CARE IF YOUR PONY OR NOT!!!!!FORGET THE CLOTHES!!!!!YOU BY YOURSELF WITH NO CLOTHES AT ALL ARE JUST SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL!!!!!Well, you know. In a non-gay way." Rarity screamed. "Thanks. Im a human." Dash said with a tone of pleasure in her voice. "Ummm,"Hoo-man"? thats a wired name for a non-pony.
"Hey, Im not the creator of the universe okay? I cant just CHOOSE what I want to be called."Dash replied with an annoyed tonne. "Well obviously I know that. But I can clearly see your not from this place. Or even Equestria for that matter. So whats your secret? Where are you from?" Rarity replied. Dash felt herself in a strange situation. The two half's of herself where in a battle. If she told Rarity, chances are she would most likely freak-out. But if she didnt , Rarity would continue to wonder where she came from. She gulped "Ummm, Id rather not talk about it."Dash said."Okay. I understand. But Ill crack you one day darling. Oh! I just had a thought! Do you think if possible, I could model some clothes for you?" Rarity asked. Dash knew where this was going. She really didnt like having to model clothes and such no less than Rainbow did. But she was new and she did think it might be kind if she said yes. But things where going to go differently. "Okay...fine." She said with a calm tone and a shrug. "Oh thank you! Ill just get my fabri-". Rarity was quickly interrupted. "But...we do this the way I want it." Dash said now with an element of "your in my town now"-ness in her voice. Rarity looked rather fearful. She never had anypony -or one- talk back to her when they where about to model. "First, nothing to girly. I want it to look like something I would actually like to wear. Something like...this" She said as she showed herself off. "Second, no silk. I like my clothes in fabric,denim and cloth. And finally, I have the right to keep my t-shirt on. I dont want the only other pony I see today have to see my breasts." Dash finished. Rarity thought long and hard. Usually she dosent swing this way with clothes. But this was her only chance to do this on something that wasn`t a pony. Rarity finally decided and thought about the challenge ahead of her one last time. "Deal".
"Okay, Im ready to see what you look like!" Rainbow said. It had been half an hour since Rainbow got to see Dash again. Dash took a look at what she was wearing and gave an impressed smile. Stepping out, she was fast enough to see Rainbows jaw drop at the sight of her new clothes. Dash was wearing a black t-shirt, jeans and what looked like a hoodie with yellow and hot pink stitches. Dash gave a giggle and said "What do you think? I honestly think its kinda cool."Rainbow was rubbing her eyes."Rarity, I cant believe it. You actually made some awesome clothes."Rarity smiled and looked impressed with what she made. Clearly, she was in it for the new business. Rainbow and Dash left as Rarity put up the closed sign for the noon.
Dash seemed to catch a lot of attention across Ponyville. Pretty much everyone looked at her with ever movement she made. Some ponies even ran away. One pony even tried to get Rainbow away from Dash, worried that the "hooman" might do something to her. "Jeez, the ponies in this town. Its like a YouTube comment system on a video about opinions mixed with a 4chan forum post."Dash said. "Ummm, what kind of..."four-me post"" Rainbow asked. Dash looked at her with a annoyed glare. "ANY forum post." Dash whispered. Rainbow just looked confuse. "Ill never understand your world." She claimed.
