My name is Crystal Joy. I am a unicorn. I have a yellow coat, and a blue and purple mane. I was born on June 9th, in Manehattan. When I was born, the doctors knew something was wrong. They did tests and they found out I was deaf. That means I can't hear, by the way. Anways, I was sent to the Ponyville orphanage. One day, 3 little fillies came and said something. I could only see thier mouths move, so I wrote on my special chalkboard, "What?" The fillies looked confused, so my friend Maybelle, a peagasus with paralyzed wings, came up and said,

"She's deaf. She can't hear you." I knew what she said because she had used sign launguage to show me. I couldn't read lips back then, like I can now. The fillies grabbed a chalkboard and wrote,

"Want to come to our clubhouse?" I looked at them, nodding my head. The fillies wrote thier names on the chalkboard.

"I'm Sweetie Belle," wrote the white purple-and-pink haired unicorn.

"I'm Applebloom," wrote the yellow red-haired earth pony with the big bow.

"..and I'm Scootaloo!" wrote the orange, purple-haired pegasus. They said Maybelle and I could both come with them, and at that moment, I knew I had found family.
