Violet eyes

          Scootaloo leaned her back against a wall. She slouched down with her face in her hooves, as she quietly sobbed. However, her sobbing was soon interrupted. "Hey, kid!" Scootaloo was greeted by a mare's voice. She lifted her face up, and was greeted by a unicorn with a white coat, a mane with two shades of blue, and dark purple shades covering her eyes. The unicorn stuck her hoof out, offering to help Scootaloo up. Scootaloo took the hoof, and go up. "Hey, what's wrong with you?" the unicorn asked. No response. Scootaloo just stared sadly at the ground. "Well.." The uniconr grabbed Scootaloo by the hoof. "Whatever it is, cheer up! Tell you what, how about we hang at my place?" Before Scootaloo could respond, the unicorn dragged Scootaloo in the direction of her home. "Oh, by the way, the name's Vinyl. Vinyl Scratch" Vinyl stated.

          Scootaloo wiped her eyes. "Scootaloo. My name is Scootaloo." The rest of the walk to Vinyl's house was silent.

          "Alright Scoots! We're here!"Vinyl smiled.

           "She called me Scoots..." Scootaloo thought. "We've only known each other for 5 minutes, and she's already comfortable around me." Scootaloo smiled.

           "So squirt!" Vinyl paused. "Let's go up and my room, and play video games!"

           "She called me squirt.." Scootaloo thought. Scootaloo smiled again. "Yeah!" Scootaloo and Vinyl walked upstairs into Vinyl's room. They slid in "Super Smash Ponies Brawl" into the PonyU. Hours past as they played the game, using the pony cube controllers.

            "Special move!" Vinyl focused. A blue aura surrounded the controller, and it began to beat Scootaloo for Vinyl.

            "Hey! No fair!" Scootaloo and Vinyl both laughed. Vinyl eyes glanced at the the cable box underneath the TV. It had the time on it.

           "Who! It's gettin' late squirt! How about we stop for today, huh champ? Just go back to your place." Scootaloo was about to ask the same question that she asked Rainbow Dash, until Vinyl spoke up. "Gotta get some sleep, since we're hanging out again tomorrow!". Scootaloo's smile lit the room. Then she remembered. She didn't have a home.

         "Well..um..I don't have a home. I don't have parents either...." Vinyl stared at Scootaloo. It was now silent. Vinyl smiled.

         "Of course you have a home" said Vinyl. Scootaloo looked confused. "You live with me now, so don't sweat it" Scootaloo and Vinyl both smiled. "Now, it's time to get some shut eye." Vinyl turned off the game system, and laid in her bed. "Hop in!" Scootaloo laid next to Vinyl. Both of them were sleeping in opposite directions. Scootaloo was facing the right, Vinyl was facing the left. Vinyl reached over and turned off the lamp.

        "Goodnight, Vinyl." Scootaloo's eyes closed. Vinyl was silent, until she knew Scootaloo was asleep.

         "Goodnight...." Vinyl's eyes closed, and she paused. "...Sis".
