As the cold day pressed onto her face, creating a sharp tingling pain in her ears, she took her time to open the door of the decrepit barn, no longer baring the maroon paint that was present so long ago. She closed the barn door behind her, and lit a lantern to wipe away the darkness that had inhabited the area for years, as she did so large quantities of cockroaches and spiders led themselves away from it. She moseyed over to a dusty broken couch that sat next to large boxes, and barrels full of toys and other items that would be fit for a filly. She then sat herself down on the couch, large amounts of feathers, and dust, jumped up from the couch and into the air. The dim lantern light allowed the orange face to become neon in comparison to the backdrop of the barn, dark and invisible.

She prodded around the boxes and pulled an album of pictures, entitled ' Memories', the darkness of the cover was unrecognizable from its original, which has shined brightly with colors of pink, and golden glitter. But had now been covered with dust and black ooze that seemed to be the consistency of half-dried glue, and smelled like rancid apples. She opened the book, flinging dust and scraps of paper onto the couch and herself, creating a mixture of ooze and feathers on both surfaces. As she turned the page she saw the first picture, a Large one of herself and her five other friends all huddled around each other, which was now stained black and almost colorless. She felt a large lump in her throat, and held back small tears for what once was. Unable to hold them back, she sobbed onto the picture. having small bits of dirt and dust to be permanently stained onto the picture.

The barn doors opened, letting in a barrage of cold wind and faint light, in walked in a tanned mare, her rose colored hair largely obscured by a wide brimmed tanned leather hat with a red bow tied around it. She walked forward and into her vision came a light that threw shadows of the boxes and couch onto the black wood wall's where faint red was spotted around in periodic positions.

"Apple Jack? are you okay?" Asked the intruding figure.

"Apple bloom - " Apple Jack answered, wiping away tears. "- What are you doing here? "

"I Heard you leave about an hour ago, i followed the tracks here. Exactly what are you doin' here, anyways?"

Apple Bloom took her seat next to her sister on the couch, creating yet more dust to be lifted into the air and illuminated by the dimmed lantern light.

"Now, what are you looking at there?" Asked Apple Bloom, staring at the book in applejack's lap

"You don't need to know anything about it, why did you follow me anyway's?" Applejack added.

"I Was worried 'bout you, sis. Ever since the accident you've been such a stranger to the family. I Know it's been a real hard couple years, i'm sorry 'bout it. But, you can't be like this no mo-"

"Don't talk like that to me," Applejack interjected. "You didn't know her like I did, I Loved her and she left me."

"Sis, we all miss them. You more than the rest of us. But you are lettin' it destroy you. C'mon, Let's go on a walk. You need to get away from this."

The rest of the evening they spent the time wander around the outskirts of Ponyville, avoiding the more heavily populated areas as to not disturb the eventful peacefulness that they had both created. A long silence had accompanied the long walk. Apple Bloom took the Leather hat and placed it on Apple Jacks head. The action broke the silence.

"You look better in that Ol' hat then I do, it really fits you."

"I Don't need this dumb hat. It's nothing but bad memories." Said Apple Jack, and flung the hat onto the dusty trail they had been following.

Apple Bloom, awe struck. Paused in her path, dusted the hat off and put the Hat back onto her head.

"What the hay is eatin' her?"

continuing on her original path she followed far behind Applejack, as she walked slowly it began to rain.
