The Girl With the Dragon Lover
When Applebloom heard her old friend Spike had moved back to town she decided to go visit him. She saw him walking out of the library and went over to him,
“Hey Spike!” she called. “It’s been a coon’s age since I’ve seen you.”
Hearing Applebloom’s voice, Spike turned.

Finally after sitting in his room for nearly half an hour he finally gathered his courage and went downstairs.
As usual Twilight was sitting in the Library reading.
“Twi… Twilight? he stuttered
“What is it?” she replied looking up.
Seeing the expression on Spike’s face she knew immediately it was something serious.
She put the book down and went over to him.
“What’s wrong, honey?” she asked, her voice full of concern.
“Could I get an advance on my pay?’
Twilight relaxed slightly, at least it wasn’t dire.
“I need a hundred bits.”
“Is it for something important?” she asked sternly.
“I’m going on a date.” he mumbled.
“That’s wonderful!” Twilight exclaimed, hugging him.
As she hugged him she couldn’t help but shed a tear. She remembered the day Princess Celestia had first brought him home. He couldn’t have been much more than a month old. She’d found him on the doorstep of her forest retreat located deep in the Everfree forest. Being the warm, caring pony that she was, she’d decided to adopt him. Unfortunately, due to all the Princess’ duties the actual responsibility for raising the child had fallen on Celestia’s other adopted child, Twilight. Twilight hadn’t minded. “Yes, mom.” he replied sarcastically, rolling his eyes.
First thing he needed was a decent set of clothes. That meant a visit to… Spike’s heart dropped to the pit of his stomach. Rarity was the last pony in the world he wanted to talk to right now.
Seeing Spike’s face, Twilight immediately guessed his dilemma.
“Don’t worry, I’m sure she’ll understand.”
He nodded, unconvinced. It was time to face the pony though.
He stood in front of Rarity’s boutique staring nervously at the door. For a moment he felt like running home and hiding under his bed for the rest of his life. “That’s ridiculous.” he thought to himself. With a deep breath he entered the store.
“Why hello darling. Nice to see you. I don’t really need any help today, though.’ Rarity greeted him.
“That… That’s not why I’m here. I need something nice to wear on a date.”
“A date! How wonderful darling!” Rarity said, her heart nearly breaking.
“You… you don’t mind?”
“I understand. These May-June romances rarely ever work out.” she replied trying to muster up a smile.
Rarity was secretly disappointed, she'd been planning to ask him out herself.
“I’m glad to hear it. Do you have anything I can wear.” he asked.
Rarity ran a practiced eye over his muscular form and nodded.
“Give me two hours and I’ll have something perfect for you”
Two hours later Spike found himself outfitted in a very nice looking emerald green suit with a purple tie. The suit had been specially tailored to accommodate his plates and tail.
“How much?” he asked.
“I wouldn’t dream of charging you on such a momentous occasion.”
“Thanks a lot Rarity, you’re a real sweetheart.”
“You’re welcome, darling.”
Thanks to Rarity, Spike got a reservation at one of the nicest restaurants in Ponyville. The two of them were a little intimidated. Due to Rarity’s instructions to the wait staff they were soon enjoying a romantic dinner.
Afterwards they walked out of the restaurant arm in arm.
“Let’s go for a walk in the moonlight.” Applebloom suggested.
Spike nodded and they headed through the park.
As they walked they didn’t speak a word, simply content to be in each others company.
After a while Spike noticed that they were standing in front of the Cutie Mark Conquerors clubhouse.
“Come on.” Applebloom said, smiling suggestively.
She drew him towards the clubhouse. Spike followed her full of curiosity.
As they entered, Spike couldn’t help noticing that a bed stood in the center of the room.
“How had they even gotten it in there?” he wondered to himself.
Applebloom led him over to the bed and sat on it, patting the spot next to her. Spike settled on the bed. She leaned forward and began passionately kissing him, he eagerly responded. She looked like she was on the verge of tears.
“That's alright you didn't know.” he said, embracing her tenderly.
"Does that mean you forgive me?”
Spike shrugged. "Nothing to forgive. Let's jut take things slowly, one step at a time. We've still got our whole lives ahead of us."
“You know sometimes I think your much more mature than you look.” she surmised.
“I can’t decide if that’s a compliment or an insult.“ Spike observed.
Applebloom chuckled. “What I meant was: sometime you act so grown up.“
“It’s a terrible burden.” he said, sighing dramatically.

THREE YEARS LATER:

Applebloom mused as she walked to meet Spike at their favorite eating spot. She’d wanted to get married two years earlier but Spike had convinced her to wait until they’d built a house. She had to admit it, she was glad she’d waited. Spike was making a very good living as new head Librarian for Ponyville and her construction company had really taken off.
The house was nearly completed and they’d finally set a date for the wedding. She hoped he agreed to their new living arrangements. ’Bloom shook her head. What male wouldn’t agree to such a sweet deal?
They’d been eating for nearly fifteen minutes before Applebloom finally gathered up enough courage to speak.
“Honey?” she said.

Spike spit out the coffee he’d been drinking.
“You mean you and Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo are…” he gasped.
‘Bloom looked embarrassed. “We’ve been lovers for a couple of years now. You aren’t mad that I didn’t tell you?”
“It would have been nice to let me know.” Spike said.
“I’ve been meanin’ to tell you, but it never seemed the right time. Consider it a weddin’ gift from me to you.”
Spike shook his head in disbelief. As much as he loved Applebloom he had to admit that sometimes she acted more than a little ditzy.
‘I’d be honored.” he replied, smiling. “So how does this work?”
“Well, umm, I was thinkin’ that the three of you should start going on dates. I know y’all good friends. This way it’ll give you time to get used to the idea of becomin’ lovers.”
“So who’s first?” he asked.
“Sweetie Belle.”
Spike thought for a moment, then smiled. “I’ve got an idea.”
Sweetie Belle looked around in wonder. “It must be the most beautiful spot in all Equestria.” she thought.
They were sitting on a blanket near the shore of a glittering blue lake. The ground they where sitting on was covered in gorgeous multicolored flowers. On the blanket was a basket. In the basket was all of her favorite foods. “It was so sweet that Spike remembered.” Belle thought.
Belle had been well on her way to becoming a pop idol. Instead she’d chosen to become a indie artist, refusing to do any concerts and only singing at the local theater. Still she was surprising popular among music connoisseurs.
“I know I’m not as lovely as Applebloom but I’ll try my best to please you.” she said.

Scoots shook her head in wonder. “Bloom was right, you really are a true gentle dragon.”

“I just thought of something.” Spike said when the four of them met the next day. “We’re going to need a bigger house.”
“Don’t worry.” ’Bloom replied. “I’ve already taken care of it.”
Spike couldn’t help but chuckle. At least this time ‘Bloom’s overconfidence hadn’t harmed anything.
“You know that my mother, aunt and sister are going to be at the wedding. In fact Princess Celestia is going to officiate.” Spike stated.
Applebloom sighed and rolled her eyes. “We’ve been planning’ this weddin’ for two years now. I think I know all the details by now.”
“But did you remember to tell your friends?” Spike asked, seeing the somewhat stricken look on Belle’s and Scoots’ faces.
‘Bloom did a face palm. “Shit! I totally forgot!”
“P… Princess Celestia?” Sweetie croaked,
“P… Princess Twilight?” Scootaloo stuttered.
“Princess Luna?” Sweetie whispered.
Spike and ’Bloom finally managed to get them to calm down.
“You‘ll be just fine. I‘m sure they‘ll love you just as much as I do.” Spike reassured them.
“Any other surprises?” Belle asked sarcastically. “Maybe Queen Chrysalis is going to show up?”
“Damn! I knew I forgot to invite somebody.” Spike said in a deadpan tone of voice.
“It’s not too late. I’m sure we can get Derpy to make a special delivery.” ’Bloom responded in kind.
“No… No. That’s alright!” Sweetie and Scoots exclaimed.
Spike and ‘Bloom doubled over in laughter.
Sweetie and Scoots relaxed. “You two! I swear you‘re going to give us heart attacks” Scoots stated.
“Um, Did I mention Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor will be there too?” Spike added.
The two of them just groaned.
“I know it’s usually traditional for people to give gifts to the bride.” Applebloom said during their bachlorette party. “But I wanted you both to have this.” she held out two small bottles.
“Is that what I think it is?” Sweetie Belle asked, holding the bottle with reverence.
‘Bloom nodded smiling.
“You’re the best friend in the whole world!” Scootaloo exclaimed hugging her. Belle hugged her as well.
When the three brides walked seductively into the church Spike nearly fainted and everyone else gasped in wonder. Both Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo now had breasts the size of volleyballs while Applebloom’s breasts now rivaled beach balls.

“We’re going to need a bigger house.” he said, smiling in delight.

“What is it?”
“Our old friend, Babs Seed is moving to Ponyville.”
Although the five of them had occasionally played together when they were kids, it had been years since they’d last seen her.
Spike noticed a sly look on ’Bloom’s face.
“Don’t tell me you’re planning to asked her to join us?’
“What do you think?” Applebloom asked, showing him a picture of an absolutely gorgeous filly with a tan coat and pink striped hair.
“She’s almost as pretty as you all.” he observed cautiously.
“You’re sweet.” she replied, kissing him.
“We’re going to need a bigger house.” he groaned.
Sweetie Belle was assisting Rarity in her shop. Even though her popularity had skyrocketed she still enjoyed helping her older sister out occasionally.
“Do you mind if I ask you a question?” Sweetie Belle inquired.

“Why didn’t you ever get married?”
“Oh well, I guess the right stallion never came along.”
“Or maybe the right dragon?”
Rarity looked uncomfortable. “Don’t… don’t be silly, dear. He’s married to you now.” she replied.
Rarity had always regretted her decision to let him go. Just thinking about him made her heart race.
“I wouldn’t mind sharing him with you.” she whispered seductively as she kissed Rarity‘s neck and gently caressed one of her full firm breasts.
