Jesus Christ!" Quill yelled when he sprang awake. Quill rested his face upon his hand, rubbing his face. He looked up, and saw only the ceiling. Quill looked into the corner of the room, where the coat rack in which his backpack hung upon. Quill removed the thin blanket that laid upon him, and walked to his belongings. He turned his head to the coat rack, grabbing his leather jacket. Throwing it on himself, Quill reached for his backpack, he strapped it upon his back, and zipped up his coat. He reached into his coat pocket, and pulled out his gloves. Quill inserted his cold hands into the warm, leather gloves. He shoved his hand into the coat pocket again, and took out his ski mask. Quill draped it over his head, warming his face. He let out a sigh of ecstasy to the warmth he felt. With every breath he took, he could see it. Quill saw a glimmer in his eyes. He looked towards it and saw the 7.62×51mm M40 sniper rifle that he owned... Quill gave a happy grin, and picked it up. He pulled back the bolt handle, and took out the magazine, it was fully loaded, just like he suspected. So Quill let the bolt handle go, closing the bolt. "What a day this is gonna be." Quill sighed. Quill walked across the weak wooden floor, his boots trotted to the door. He put his hand over the cold, cold door knob. Quill twisted his hand, and swung open the door, letting in the bitter cold winter breeze. Quill quickly dashed out of the cabin, and into the winter snow. The snow crunched beneath his boots as he walked through the snow. Quill looked back at the cabin, squinting at it. Was there someone following him? That question pondered in his head, but Quill moved on. He turned his head back again, he moved further away from the camp in which his cabin, along with many others, sat in. Some cabins had smoke rising out of their chimneys. Quill sighed and strolled on, to the woods that were in front of him. Quill grinned, he vaulted over a wooden fence, and slowly, quietly, stepped over branches and twigs. "I gotta be careful now..." He whispered to himself. Many branches and twigs were resting on the path that was made, they were used as a sound trap, to alert nearby campers of animals to hunt, or infected to slay. Quill stepped away from the path, but still made the crunching sound of the crackling white snow. Quill heard the snapping of a twig from afar, he turned his head to it like lightning, and saw a buck, slowly walking around. Quill grinned intensely. He ever so quietly aimed his sniper at the buck's head. The buck didn't see Quill as it's head faced the dirt. Quill observed the unaware buck through his scope, lining up it's head in between the scopes cross hairs. Quill pulled the trigger, the rifle made a loud popping sound. The bullet flew out of the sniper barrel into the buck's skull. A splatter of blood soared across the air, onto the snow upon the ground. The buck tipped over, and fell on it's side, letting the blood leak out from the side of it's head. Quill walked over to it, seeing that it's eyes were closed, he gave a smirk. So he stomped on it's head multiple times, crushing the skull, and the brain. Quill's happy mood soon went away when he heard a gun click behind him. Quill dropped his rifle, and put his hands up. The person who clicked the gun grabbed Quill's shoulder and turned him around. He smiled to see a familiar face. "Keep your hands where I can see 'em" Said a woman, with white hair, and dark circles around her eyes. The woman pulled off Quill's mask, seeing that it was Quill, she gave a sigh of relief, and put her gun back into her holster. "Quill, try using a scarf" stated the woman. "Sorry. Ms. Gilda, I guess it didn't come to mind. I scored the camp some food." Quill responded as he scratched his thick beard. Gilda chuckled. "Many thanks, maybe if you tried using a bow and some arrows, you wouldn't have to wake the entire camp!" "I'll take that into consideration. It'd be must appreciated if you help me drag this beautiful, delicious buck into camp." Quill replied. "Will do." Gilda answered Quill and Gilda walked to the buck. Quill grabbed one leg while Gilda grabbed the other. Both of them walked backwards to the wooden fence. "Be a dear and get it over this fence?" Gilda asked. Quill chuckled, and picked up the buck with both of his arms. Quill lifted it, and tossed over the fence. The both of them climbed over, and continued dragging it to camp. Some men were sitting on the porches of their cabins. One of them spotted Quill and Gilda. The man aimed his rifle at them and yelled, "Turn back now!" "Caramel, it's just Quill and I!" Gilda shouted. Caramel eased his aim, and gave an "Okay" sign with his fingers to the rest of the men. Carmel sit back down in his chair, keeping his rifle at his side. Other people sat outside around a campfire, roasting raw deer meat upon a spit. A young man was turning the spit, as the deer meat was being roasted. Quill and Gilda dragged the deer to the campfire. The young man's father smiled. "So Quill scored us dinner?" The father asked in a happy tone "Yeah, I busted a cap in it's head. His fur will make a great coat. I could really use one," Quill said, "The meat is gonna fill a lot of bellies up, I tell you what!" The father grinned. Gilda patted Quill on the back, and walked, pushing Quill with her. "So, what camp or hangout we gonna raid?" Quill asked. "You're gonna love this one, we're going to infiltrate Quarantine Zone 5B in St. Louis. Our agents over their have gotten info about research for a cure," Gilda explained, "They have many supplies their, enough to feed us for a lifetime" Quill's face dropped into fear. Gilda saw the expression and nudged his arm. "Hey, don't get all scared. That heart in your chest is made out of mighty thick ice, since when have you given a shit about someone else's life?" Gilda asked. "Good point to bring up there. I just ain't in the mood to do this raid. It just doesn't feel right, boss." "This sentence coming out of the lips of a stone cold motherfucker!? Grow some fucking balls Quill! Gilda raised her voice. "Ms. Gilda, I have balls. Tell me to shiv a bitch in the throat, I do what is asked," Quill went on, "Tell me to shoot a fucker in the face? Mission accomplished within thirty seconds. I'm always doing what's been told of me for the most part. But I just ain't feelin' it, this time." "Quill, even though you've been with us for a couple months, it seems like forever. You're my right hand man, and not once have you disappointed me. I think I'll let you sit out this one, but on one condition, you ain't getting dibs on the next raid." Gilda advised. Quill groaned, but accepted his punishment. Gilda walked back to the people sitting by the fire, while Quill stepped onto his cabin porch. Opening his door, he kicked the snow off of his boots. Quill's fireplace was all ready for him, he gave a slight grin, and warmed his hands by the fire. Quill took off his leather coat, and hung it on his coat rack. He slowly walked to his bed, and sat on it, rubbing the stress off of his face. Quill looked to his side, and saw his backpack, he grew sorrowful as he reached for the backpack's strap. Quill pulled the backpack closer to him, unzipped it, and extended his arm into it. Scourging around, he felt a type of paper. When you feel it, it feels as if it's a picture. A tear came to his eye as he pulled it out. Quill looked at the picture, it was a picture of Rainbow Dash that he took, when they were in High school. Quill sighed with pain. "Those memories," He said, "All gone. Does she even miss me anymore? Or has she forgotten already..." The pain that Quill had was unbearable, and sorrowful. He wondered, did the only person he truly, ever cared about forget him? So many questions never ceased to stop flying around in his head, making him so curious. The major curiosity didn't help ease the pain. As a matter of fact, it made it worse. Quill cupped his hands, and put his hands on his face. But Quill got enraged, and balled up his hand into a fist, and punched the floor as hard as he could. His hand broke through the floorboards, into the cold air of his basement. Quill's knuckles bled, but no care entered into his heart or mind. "No, she couldn't of forgotten me... I left a part of me, when I left her. I was the only god damned person that took care of her during this SHIT! I get no fucking reward, I just get more bullshit," Quill talked to himself. I suppose, by now, Quill loved Rainbow Dash. Hold on, that was an understatement, my apologies. Quill Tale loved Rainbow Dash so much, because she was the only one who really understood him. Maybe not when Quill had the visions, because Rainbow Dash was a skeptical person. She needed to "see it to believe it," and that's what Rainbow Dash got when the Changeling Virus broke out. Quill put the picture on his nightstand, and looked through his backpack more. He pulled out some papers, and the optimistic side of his curiosity got the better of him. Quill put his feet up on his bed, and rested his head. He read the papers carefully. They were documentations! One was titled: St. Louis Department Of Health - Changeling Virus Symptoms. "Huh," Quill said, "I forgot about these." Quill read the document. "Wow," Quill said, "That makes my fear of getting bitten increase." Quill put the papers back into his backpack, and looked at the picture of Rainbow Dash again. He could still remember that night, almost a year ago, they had the best night of their lives. It's been seven years since the outbreak, though. But Rainbow Dash left a mark on Quill's soul, that would make him love her more than anything. Quill realized that it would be a long time before he could see his beloved again. This is just the start of a long, depressing life alone. Of course Quill had his boss, Gilda and his comrades by his side. But Quill knew that deep inside, he was surely alone. And he felt as if his death would draw near, Quill felt he'd die like a moth to the flame. It hit him hard like a ton of bricks that reality had came in, life was harder, and horrible. At times, Quill would put his revolver, fully loaded, to his head and think of ending it all. As much as he wanted to, he couldn't. Suicide was the cowards way out. Quill Tale was NO coward. Soon, Quill got bored and remembered his six string. He smiled, got up off of his bed. And grabbed his six string Acoustic guitar. Quill picked away at the strings, strumming tunes that came to mind. But still, that picture never left his mind. The picture had his attention, it made him pluck at random strings, sounding distorted. Quill couldn't resist it, so he took the picture and put it back into his backpack, and sat back down on his bed. Until he remembered back to that night, it felt like years had gone by since then, but it's only been several months. Quill plucked away at his guitar as he remembered the best night of life . Love In Bloom {Clopping Chapter}Chapter 2: ♥ Love Is In Bloom ♥ Months back in time, Quill was cleaning his rifle. While Rainbow Dash carved wood into stakes. Nightfall was closing in, the two had found shelter in an abandoned hotel. The bedroom they abode in was quite sanitary than expected. The bed wasn't that aged, but still a bit dirty. Ever since that kiss six years before this, Quill and Rainbow Dash haven't talked about it ever since, nor about any relationship they'd have. They didn't even have any physical chemistry since then, however, they bonded well. They grew closer to each other day by day. Rainbow Dash was wearing a light grey hoodie, jeans, and some sneakers. Since it was in the fall, it was only fitting for the hoodie. Quill wore a brown leather jacket, tattered jeans, and some black boots. The both of them aged quite a bit, the both of them were twenty-four years old. Quill grew a thick beard, and Rainbow Dash's hair grew longer. She had it in a ponytail, Rainbow Dash loved having a ponytail, Quill seemed to be happier when she had that adorably cute ponytail! "Hey Quill," Rainbow Dash said, "How much food did we score this week?" Quill unzipped his backpack, and named the cans of food as he took them out. "We got three cans of bacon, one can of of diced tomatoes, seven cans of corn, and four cans of baked beans" Quill replied. "Sweet, that'll feed us for awhile!" Rainbow Dash grinned with her teeth. Quill smiled back at her, and continued to clean his M1 Garand. Rainbow Dash finished with the stake she was carving, and looked at her side on the bed. Rainbow Dash saw that she made about eleven wooden stakes. During the long six years of surviving, Rainbow Dash ditched her twelve gauge and found a Blaser R93 with a suppressor. She found it by a dead military officer. Quill was very impressed with her sniping skills, since her father always took her hunting, along with Quill most of the time. Rainbolt knew a lot about guns, and loved to teach Rainbow Dash and Quill all about them. "Rainbow Dash... I wanted to talk about something to you." Quill started a conversation. "Yeah, what is it?" Rainbow Dash responded in a question. "Remember that kiss, years ago-" Quill was cut off. "Yep. I don't really like talking about it. It's really embarrassing..." Quill sat beside her, wrapping his arm around her. Rainbow Dash blushed, and grew embarrassed, but yet, comfortable, and warm. She rested her head on Quill's shoulder, smiling. "You know, I like kissing you. It makes me happy..." Quill said softly. "Y-You do? But you always said you didn't like kissing, you said it's so overrated!" Rainbow Dash replied. "I know I did, but you didn't get my point. I said I liked kissing YOU." Rainbow Dash heavily blushed, She turned her eyes to Quill, and saw that he was looking right into her eyes, smiling warmly. "So... you like kissing me?" Rainbow Dash said in a calm whisper. "I love kissing you..." Quill replied calmly. Their lips moved closer and closer every second, they looked deep into each others eyes. They moved so close that their lips touched softly. They kissed softly, and passionately. The two closed their eyes, Rainbow Dash added in her tongue to the kiss, making her wrap her arms around Quill's neck. The kiss transitioned from soft to hard in minutes, Quill had his arms wrapped around her lower back, holding her. Rainbow Dash broke the kiss, giving a smile. She took off her scrunchie, letter her hair flow out. Rainbow Dash took off her hoodie, revealing her black shirt. She moved back further onto the bed more, beckoning him with on of her fingers. Quill isn't one to disappoint a lady, so he came to her and took her black shirt off, seeing a white bra underneath. Quill took off his jacket, and his blue shirt. "You ready for this?" Rainbow Dash asked seductively. Quill nodded with a smile. Rainbow Dash took off Quill's shirt, and his white beater, seeing his pecks and abs turned her on more. Rainbow Dash reached her arms around her back, she unbuckled her bra slowly. Quill got a little impatient, but Rainbow slowly removed the bra, revealing her breasts. Quill was highly aroused, Rainbow Dash reached her right hand down to Quill's fly. Quill smiled and blushed as Rainbow Dash unbuttoned his pants slowly while Quill took off her jeans, and underwear. She unzipped his fly, and reached her hand into his boxers. Quill sighed in passion. "Rainbow dash... I-I didn't know you wanted this..." Quill was in fear a bit. Rainbow Dash's smile grew, as she gripped Quill's hard member softly. "I wanted to do this for a long time..." Rainbow replied quietly. Rainbow Dash slowly, and softly stroked Quill's hard cock. But right after she began, Rainbow Dash stopped. Quill became very confused and disappointed. But Rainbow Dash brought Quill on top of her. Quill felt how wet she was with his long member. "But didn't you do this with Soarin'?" Quill asked. "I did, but I want to do it with someone I actually love." Rainbow Dash replied. Quill smiled, and licked Rainbow Dash's right nipple, Rainbow Dash loved the sensation. But when Quill started to suck on her nipple hard, it made her cum, Quill felt how wetter she became. It just turned Quill on more. Quill knelt on the bed, seeing that Rainbow Dash's legs were spread around him, revealing her wet, soft vagina. Quill put the head of his cock at her flaps. He looked at her, and she nodded. Quill slowly inserted his member. A feeling of ecstasy filled him when he felt her tight, wet walls. Rainbow Dash let out a soft moan, and reached for Quill's shoulders. Quill moved down some and Rainbow Dash grabbed on, wrapping her arms around his back. "Qu-Quill... you're so big," Rainbow said, "Do me..." Quill started to move his cock in and out at delayed speed. Rainbow Dash started to moan and groan passionately, Quill let out manly moans, he got lost in the pleasure and tried to thrust faster. He knew that Rainbow Dash loved it, she was moaning louder. "Ooh, Quill! Faster, Quill! FASTER!!" Rainbow Dash shouted. Quill fulfilled her wishes, and started to hump faster. The tip of his member pounded Rainbow Dash's cervix. Quill felt the climax reaching, so he went harder. Quill placed his hands on Rainbow Dash's breasts, Rainbow Dash was drooling to the sensation "Oh my gosh, Quill! MOOOOORE!" Rainbow Dash moaned loudly. She felt Quill's cock throb as she came. Rainbow Dash knew he wasn't going to hold his load for much longer. Quill had his eyes closed with an intense grin on his face. He felt the sperm flow through him, desperately begging for release. Rainbow Dash was going to tell him to take it out before he explodes, but the pleasure kept her from saying a word. She experienced so much that she didn't even care anymore. By this point, Quill couldn't hold it any longer. "Rainbow Dash, h-here it comes!" He shouted. And just like that, Quill flooded Rainbow Dash's walls with his semen. Dash lost control, and held her lover tightly. She felt his cum travel through her. Quill panted heavily, his heart beat as fast as an engine. Rainbow Dash looked into his eyes, and reached up and kissed his cheek softly. They both smiled at each other, giggling. Quill took out his member covered in Rainbow Dash's juices. The sperm leaked from Rainbow Dash's pussy, she sighed in a relaxed position. Quill got off of her, and laid on his side of the bed. They both panted. "Quill, you are just... so....just so amazing," Rainbow Dash said, "That felt better that Soarin'...." "G-Glad to hear that." Quill yawned. Quill buttoned up his fly, and grabbed his backpack. Rainbow Dash put her clothes back on, while Quill took out the blankets from his storage. He tossed Rainbow Dash a blanket from her bag, and used his own. Quill walked to the bed and laid his head upon the pillow. Rainbow Dash blew out their only light source: A candle. Rainbow Dash wrapped herself up in the blanket, and Quill wrapped his arm around her. Rainbow Dash felt that warm feeling again, and smiled. "Goodnight Quill, I love you," Rainbow Dash said. "I love you too, Dashie," Quill replied. They both kissed each other goodnight, and closed their eyes to sleep. Now back to Quill now, he forgot the guitar was even in his hands. He put it down, and smiled to the good memories. Nothing could have ruined that moment. Ever since that night, Quill and Rainbow Dash had been in a relationship, and kissed, hugged, and showed their love to each other. Rainbow Dash finally saw Quill happy. Quill missed the happiness that Rainbow Dash brought him. But he remembered another thing, the good relationship only lasted for about 3 months. Quill remembered the long trip he took to Missouri, the one that Rainbow Dash didn't know where they were headed. "Why did I have to remember this?" Quill asked himself. Leaving Behind A Part Of YouChapter 3: Leaving Behind a Part Of You Quill remembered back seven months. He was driving in a hijacked military jeep, letting his br Rainbow Dash rested on his shoulder, closing her eyes. Quill was glad she didn't notice the tears streaming down his face. What he was going to do, he didn't want to carry out. They stopped near a wire fence, when the jeep stopped, Quill stepped out and out his hands up, Rainbow Dash saw the commotion and did so as well. The guards asked for his ID, and Rainbow Dash's as well. Quill had his and Dash's ID, and he was granted access. Rainbow Dash grew so confused, but Quill got back into the jeep and drove into what seemed to be a military base, triage tents and houses were everywhere. On the outside it looked like a Concentration Camp! But on the inside, it looked like a beautiful neighborhood. "Babe, why are we here? Isn't this the U.S. Military!?" She asked. "No, it's a rebel army. We're going to see an old friend." Quill replied. Quill made a stop at a triage. Rainbow Dash got her guns and her bag. The two got out of the jeep, and Rainbow Dash followed Quill to the triage. "My God, I haven't seen you two in years!" Said a familiar voice. Quill smiled and let open his arms. Soarin', wearing a military outfit stepped out of the triage and hugged Quill. "I thought you guys were dead!" Soarin' said happily. "We thought you were too, How have you been, man?" Quill responded. "I got recruited into a the Angels. Welcome to Quarantine Zone 5B! I can't tell you how many infected we had to kill to get this place up and running," Soarin' explained, "But hey, we managed. We even have electricity. I remember how we couldn't live like this anymore, but well. If you can see the kids playing outside with toy guns, and see happy families, it looks like we are." "Soarin, it's beautiful. It's what we've dreamed of...Right, Quill?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Mhm. Soarin, may I talk to you in private?" "Yeah! Sure thing, Quill!" Soarin' replied. Rainbow Dash smiled while Quill and Soarin' walked into the triage tent. Quill looked around and saw doctors everywhere, experimenting on infected humans. Some of the, greeted Soarin'. They made it to the far end of the tent, where there sat benches. Quill rested upon on, where Soarin' sat on the on in front of Quill. "So, what do you need?" Soarin' asked. "I need you to do something for me. It's really important..." Quill replied. "Well, okay. But tell me though." "I'm leaving Rainbow Dash here, with you. I can't take care of her anymore." Quill replied. "Wha-WHAT!? You two are in love! I can tell! And you're just ditching her!?" Soarin' replied. "I know, but I just can't take care of her anymore. I didn't tell her about this, it would've broken her heart." Quill answered. "I can't do that Quill, we've got jobs here. I have to do my duty as an Angel." Quill got up from the bench, and looked down at Soarin', yelling, "God damn it!" Quill said while enraged, "I NEED you to do this! I need you to take care of her for me!" Soarin' stood up and got in Quill's face, and yelled as well, "You wanna know something!? Why the fuck should I take care of Rainbow Dash for YOU!? You come here saying: 'Oh, hi Soarin'! So nice to see you! Can I leave Rainbow Dash here? Okay! Thanks! BYE!' So the hell should I do this for you!?" Soarin' shouted. "SHE'S PREGNANT!" Quill shouted with rage. Soarin's face dropped. "She's p-pregnant? Who's the father?!" Soarin' replied with a question. "I am. That's why I can't take care of her. This is a good home for the kid, I can't give it the life I want to. And it would just eat up all of our food, and drag us behind. Soarin', please, be the child's dad." Quill begged. "Me? Be the father of your kid? I can't do that! It's your kid! Why can't you stay?" "Because I need to get to Russia. I'm searching for a cure just like you guys, it's gonna take awhile to get their. And I'll always be the kid's father, you'll be it's dad. I'll try to come back." Quill replied. "Okay, I'll do it. Just remember, there's a home for you here. We can sit on your back porch, and have a couple of beers. What do you say?" "Believe it our not, I'd really love that. I'm coming back one day. I gotta get going now, I got a long trip ahead of me." Quill responded. Soarin' and Quill came out of the triage. Soarin' put his hand on Rainbow Dash's shoulder, giving her a sad look. "S-Soarin', why are you looking at me like that?" Rainbow asked. Quill kept walking, he didn't even say a word to the mother of his child. Rainbow Dash got curious. Quill walked to the jeep, opened the door, got in and started it up. Rainbow Dash walked to the car and asked, "Are you leaving me here?!" Quill closed his eyes, and didn't respond. He pulled out, and started to drive off. Rainbow Dash had tears coming from her eyes. Soarin' slowly walked to her. "COME BACK!" She shouted into the air. Rainbow Dash broke down on her knees, seeing Quill drive off, without even saying goodbye. She sobbed hard, and punched the ground hard multiple times. Soarin' ran to her and held her as she cried. Rainbow Dash held Soarin' tight. "Why is he leaving!?" Soarin' didn't wanna say, but he manned up. "Because he want's your baby to have a good home. He can't give it one." Soarin' said as he rubbed Rainbow's stomach. Rainbow Dash broke out crying harder. She saw that Quill was still in reach. Rainbow Dash had adrenaline rushing, and she pushed Soarin' off hard and yelled loudly, "COOOOOME BAAAAAACK! QUILL! DON'T LEAVE ME!" Quill drove away, out of sight. Rainbow Dash looked down, and cried very hard, the tears hit the dust on the ground. She got enraged, and pulled out a knife from her backpack. "It's this DAMN BABY!" Rainbow Dash shouted as she raised the knife over her stomach. Soarin' dashed to Rainbow Dash and hit the knife out of her hand. Rainbow Dash crawled across the dirt to get it. but Soarin' pulled and held her back. But Rainbow Dash was no pushover, she fought hard to get out of Soarin's grasp. She bit him on the arm, and managed to get free. Soarin' saw red and slapped Rainbow Dash hard. But Rainbow Dash didn't take shit from no one, so she kicked Soarin' in the chin with the heel of her boot. Soarin' grabbed her again, this time, keeping her locked in his arms. Rainbow Dash hit him hard, but eased down. She cried so very hard. "Let me go-o-ooo!" Rainbow Dash cried. "Don't do it, Rainbow Dash. Don't kill the only part of Quill you have left. If he dies, and you kill the kid, you won't have any part of him anymore" Soarin' said. Rainbow Dash realized that he was right. She stopped struggling, and cried so, very hard. "C'mon, you hungry?" Soarin' asked. Rainbow Dash gulped, wiped the tears from her eyes, and nodded. "Well let's get you something to eat, and we can talk this out." While Quill was driving, he was so grieved that he stopped the jeep and screamed to the sky. This was the day where Quill started not to cry anymore. Quill was so distraught that he tried to cry, he tried to push the tears out, but to no avail. He punched the windshield in front of him, making his hand bleed. All Quill wanted to do right now was to put a gun to his head and pull the trigger. But he just couldn't, he wasn't a coward. Quill drove on the dusty trail. Back into the present, Quill punched the wooden floor again, trying to push out tears. But his tear ducts were like deserts. He brushed back his dirty brown hair with his hands. Quill heard gunfire, and then a loud bang on his door, he rushed to his door and opened it to see Caramel. "Quill, get your gear, more infected!" Caramel said out of breath. Quill nodded and closed his door. He sprinted to the coat rack, grabbing his black leather jacket, gloves, and guns. Quill kicked open his door and saw a horde of infected being shot at by Gilda, Caramel, and the others. He dashed to Gilda. "Gilda, ORDERS?" Quill demanded. "Get to your roof, take a sniping position!" Gilda said as she fired her rifle. Quill ran to his house, but was assaulted by an infected man. The man was recently infected, because he was not growing anything on him, except for two large fangs. The man pushed Quill to the edge of his porch railing, trying to bite Quill's neck. The only thing keeping Quill safe from those fangs was Quill's strength by pushing him. Quill managed to throw a fist with a grunt at the man's face, sending him back. Quill pulled out his revolver and shot him in the head. He sprinted inside, and saw the ladder to his roof. Climbing up the ladder and reaching the roof, Quill saw the cabins were being infiltrated. He pulled his Sniper out from his backstrap, and aimed it down at the camp. He caught a man trying to bite a the young man's neck from earlier at the campfire. The infected man had many spikes coming from his head, and his eyes were bright blue. This man had been infected for about a year and a half. Quill got the man's head in his cross hairs, and fired a bullet at the man's head. The bullet flew through his skull, making him fall to the ground. Quill pulled back the bolt handle, and a bullet casing flew out. Quill shot a recently infected girl in the head, making a piece of her skull fly 3 feet to the left. She looked about fifteen years old. "God damn... This never gets old" Quill said to himself. Quill took thrilling pleasure killing these infected people. Because Quill was enraged from his memories, he took his anger out on the infected. Quill got tired of shooting and reloading. There weren't that many left anyway. So Quill slid down his ladder, and grabbed a machete off the wall. He ran outside, and locked onto a woman who had grown wings, and was beginning to fly. The wings had just grown, so they were very thin. The woman took off, but Quill rushed to it in time to slice her wings off with his blade. The woman fell to the ground on her hands and knees. Then Quill swung his machete at the woman's neck two times, severing her head. Quill ran to an infected teenage body who had his head and face covered with spikes. Quill struck him in the neck with the machete while enraged. The boy ran to Quill and tried desperately to bit his arm. But Quill snatched his arm away, and struck him in the face with the machete, chopping half of his head clean off. "Fucking Spikers." Quill said. Spikers are people who were infected long enough that they had spikes replacing the most of their head, except their mouth. But then Quill's face dropped when he saw a spider. But this wasn't the spider with eight legs and eight eyes with big fangs you'd normally think of. Infected people with overly stretched arms and legs were called spiders, due to how they walked. They walked lightning fast and when I mean fast, as soon as you see it, shoot it or you'll die. Spiders don't bite because they don't have any teeth, but they can hit you so hard with their arm that your head will fly off. And to add to the topic, the mouth of a spider is enlarged, it looks like something out of a horror movie. The Spider saw Quill since he was the closest to it. It ran FAST with it's four freakishly long legs. But Quill ducked down and swung hard at one of it's arm, severing it, and making it tumble down. Gilda smiled and took one shot from her rifle at it's head. The arms and legs of a spider are very weak. Hey! C'mon! These Spiders have to have some sort of weakness! "Good shit, Quill! There's more!" Quill saw how many more there were. Since there were too many for his trusty revolver, he pulled out his Five SeveN pistol. When he pulled the trigger, it clicked. "Aw fuck." Quill said. A man ran to Quill screaming, trying to bite him. Luckily, Quill had the machete in his other and, and swung it on the side of the man's head, killing him. Quill let the machete stay in the man's head, to give him time to reload. Quill released the empty clip from the gun, and pulled out another clip from a pouch on his belt. He shoved the clip in quickly and cocked back the gun. A woman was feet away from him, and he shot her in the forehead, making her fly back. Quill shot several more in the head until his gun clicked again. Quill took out most while the others took out the rest. They whole camp cheered, gave high fives, and hugged each other. Quill picked up the empty clip, and put it in his belt pouch. He pulled the machete out of the infected man's head, making a disgusting squishy sound. "That was fun." Quill said aloud. Gilda put her rifle in her backstrap, and walked over to Quill. "Well, you managed to save the day, Superman. We need to talk." Gilda ordered. Quill nodded. The both of them into Quill's domain. Quill sat upon his bed, While Gilda just stood, and walked around. "Now, the spies we sent to Quarantine Zone 5B came back early this morning, and informed me about something urgent." "And what is that, boss?" Quill responded in a question. "My old friend, Rainbow Dash, found out that some of our spies were our guys," Gilda explained, "Rainbow Dash killed them, the spies survived said she was really skilled at killing. Like you! Have you been training her or something?" Gilda chuckled on the last sentence. "Hehe, no!" Quill pretended to laugh. "Well, after we raid the place, we're executing Rainbow Dash, you know what the price is for killing our spies." replied Gilda. Quill cringed, and screamed in in hatred inside. His own boss was going execute his the one he loved. "Y-Yeah... I know," Quill tried his best to keep from throwing fist into Gilda's face. "And, we found that she's almost nine months pregnant. Our spies suspect that Soarin' is the father, our last batch of spies are coming home tomorrow morning. I'll be the first to tell you the news. If you have any connection with Rainbow Dash, or if you lie to me about her. You;re gonna be in a body bag, GOT IT?" Gilda replied. Quill nodded, and Gilda left his cabin. Quill felt relieved, all Gilda did was make Quill a lot more angry. It's a good thing they suspect Soarin' is the father, and Quill want's to keep it that way. Quill laid his head upon his pillow, he was really tired. It was only six o' clock in the afternoon. Funny how time flies when you have flashbacks of old memories. Quill closed his eyes and fell asleep. Quill DemotedChapter 4: Quill Demoted "Crack!" Went the butt of the rifle when it hit Quill in the gut. Quill sprung awake, and saw two men with rifles standing in above his bed. He get out of his bed and tried to swing at one of the men, but was hit in the back the butt of a rifle, making him kneel. "DOWN on your knees, asshole," said the man. Quill let out a grunt of pain. The two men dragged Quill outside, and dropped their guns in the snow. One man picked him up under by his arms, and holding them. The other man punched Quill in the face hard, making Quill enraged, he tried to break free, but no success. The man delivered a left cross to Quill's right jaw, almost breaking it. Quill got furious and headbutted the man behind him, and whammed his fist into the other man's face, knocking him down. Quill got on top of him and released a barrage of fists at his face, breaking his nose and jaw. But the man that had once been headbutted kicked Quill off of the other man. "Ack!" Quill grunted. The men got up and started to kick Quill while he was down. Quill blocked his face from being kicked, soon, the men realized Quill had enough. They stomped on his arms to stop from from blocking, the two men grabbed his arms and dragged him across the snow to a familiar cabin. Quill growled in bitter rage, but managed to keep calm. One of them opened the door to the cabin, and dragged Quill in. And dropped him right in front of a desk. "Rise and shine, sleepyhead!" Gilda shouted. Quill's vision was a little fuzzy from the beating, but his eyes cleared, and he saw Gilda, and gulped. "SPEAK when I'm talking to you!" Gilda shouted once more. "Did you fucking order those guards to jump me!?" Quill asked. Gilda nodded. Quill growled angrily, but Gilda knelt down with one knee, and grabbed his cheeks with one hand, and punched his gut. Quill groaned in pain. "Why the fuck are you doing this!?" Quill shouted. "Why? WHY!? WHY I am doing this is because our spies came back, and told me that they overheard Rainbow Dash talking to Soarin' about YOU. She talked about you, how she loves you, and how you SURVIVED with her for six years," Gilda explained," And you told me that you never met her." "That could have been someone else. You have no proof that it was actually me." Quill replied. "Oh no?" Gilda replied, "This says otherwise!" Gilda tossed the picture of Rainbow Dash on the floor in front of the floor. Quill's jaw dropped, he got very, very angry. "We found this in your backpack, this confirmed the news given. And you know what makes me laugh?" Gilda questioned right in front of Quill's face. Quill spat in Gilda's face "What!?" He shouted. Gilda punched Quill's testicles, knocking the wind out of him. Quill gasped for air, but Gilda grabbed a baseball off her desk, and swung it at Quill's arm, knocking him down. Quill moaned in agony. "What makes me laugh is how you, a cruel, heartless fuck like you managed to get a pretty girl like Rainbow Dash to fall in love with you." Gilda said in a happy tone. "Don't you fucking say one word about her, or I SWEAR TO GOD I'LL!" "Look! Quill has a heart! He's sticking up for the girl of his dreams. You swear to God you'll WHAT? Kill me? That's cute. You might be good at killing infected but you can't beat me," Gilda said. "You don't fucking know me, Gilda. For seven god damn years, I've survived. Six of those years were spent with Rainbow Dash. You don't know how much I've been through!" "That reminds me, Rainbow Dash spoke about your visions! How you and your uncle knew about this infection before anyone else did! How precious! Tell me Quill, where's your uncle now? Dead? That's what I thought." Gilda reminded. "Gilda... I'm warning you, you're opening a can of worms here..." Quill responded. "No, Quill. You opened a can of worms right when you joined us, you just didn't know you did. Tomorrow, at six in the morning, we're going to execute you with your pregnant lover. Guards, throw him in the basement." Gilda left the cabin, and the guards picked up Quill by the arms, and opened a trapdoor. They kicked him down the stairs. Quill almost broke his neck! There was a single candle down there as his only light source. Quill hugged himself, it was very cold down here, the fire was the only source of heat and light, a blanket sat in the corner. He screamed in anger. "That fucking bitch, I'm gonna kill her." Quill ran up the stairs and tried to ram the trapdoor open, but it was locked a padlock. Quill wasn't getting out anytime soon, he started to feel sad, so he remembered something,,, He remembered his Uncle. His Uncle Swatch Swift helped him and Rainbow Dash through the first stage of the infection. Quill grabbed the blanket, and sat in the corner while covering up form the cold. He stuttered with every breath he took. It was still early morning, and he had some time to kill. About seven years ago, when Quill and Rainbow Dash were in Cincinnati, they found Swatch Swift's safe house, it looked like a crack house, and it was. Since Swatch's real house was taken over by the military, he had nowhere else to go. The memory was a bid hazy, but Quill remembered the details. As much as Quill had forgotten, he never, ever, forgot his Uncle. When Quill and Rainbow Dash found the safe house, Quill's uncle opened, and let the two in. Swatch Swift looked a lot like Quill's dad, he was muscular, and he had a thick beard. He of course had some grey hair, but it was long, and Swatch always put it in a rat tail. Swatch loved the M1 Garand, and was surprised to see Quill holding it. When Rainbow Dash stepped inside with Quill, she noticed that it was run down, and looked a little haunted. With the paint chipping off of the walls, the floor and ceiling were rotted. At least it was still livable and tolerable, but then Swatch noticed something. "Are you and Dash finally dating now?" Swatch asked. Quill and Rainbow Dash blushed, and shook it off. They found Swatch's safe house the day after they kissed. So, could we say that they were dating? But, anyway. Swatch happily let in the two to sit down, talk, and rest for the night. At one point when Rainbow Dash had went upstairs for a nap, Swatch had a little private talk with Quill. "So, are you and her dating?" "Nah, we're not." Quill replied. Swatch groaned. "Are you kidding me? You've been friends with that girl for like, what, ever since you were two! You gonna make a move?" Swatch retorted. "Look, if we dated, and we broke up for I don't know what. We wouldn't look at each other the same ever again. It would ruin our friendship." "Good point. But that's the same problem your father had with your mother. They were best friends in High school, but when your mom had a crush on your dad. Your dad didn't want to ruin the friendship." Swatch reminded Quill. "Uncle Swatch, I don't appreciate you talking about my dad. I like to keep it silent." "Quill, I can talk about my own brother in front of you. If he were alive today, he'd be so very proud of you. Even where he is now, he still loves you." Swatch explained. "I don't believe in Heaven, Hell, or a God. There's just too much shit in the world." "Nonsense, I so do believe in those three things. Everything happens for a reason, and I believe there's an afterlife because our life on this Earth seems to go by so fast when you're about to die. I pray, and I get prayers answered. Just pray, and everything will be alright. And remember what I always say, Follow The River!" Swatch explained again. "I prayed many times before, and nothing happened." Quill retorted. "There's a difference between saying a prayer and actually praying. You pray with unbelief, just believe!" "But about dad... I don't want anyone walking about him..." "Quill, I understand. The day your dad got news that your mom was pregnant with you, he was very excited, because he knew you were going to be a very special kid," Swatch went on, "But not like special needs, he knew that you were going to be something better than him." "Looks like he got his hopes up too high. I ain't really special," Quill said. "You are, I watched you grow up ever since you were a baby. Your mother made me babysit you a lot, and you know that. I remember that you're just like your dad. You still are! He always doubted himself, and when he didn't, he wouldn't bite off more than he could chew, meaning that he'd be self-aware of his shortcomings. You're just like that, Quill." Swatch conversed. "Huh, thanks for making me realize that. All because of a car crash... I didn't get to see him." Quill said with a tear. "Car crash? A CAR CRASH?! Who told you that he died by a car crash?" Swatch asked. "My mom, why?" "Typical. Your dad was shot, and killed nineteen minutes before you were born. Y-You see..." Swatch tried to keep himself from breaking down, "You're aunt Paint Drop was at the hospital with her, and she called your dad to tell him to come to the hospital for a surprise. On his way, he was mugged, shot, and killed." "A-Are you serious? My father was killed?!! Bye who!?" Quill yelled. "The detectives couldn't find out, your mother was too heartbroken to even cooperate with the police. This is why your mom hates you so much, she keeps thinking you're the one who took her husband away." "That's because I am, I got my own dad killed." Quill said with a tear. Swatch put his hand on Quill's shoulder, looking into his eyes with comfort. "No, it's not your fault... He was taken on his own, I think it's an old high school bully way back in the day." "Who is he?" Quill asked. "His name is Hit-Switch. One day, when your dad, Pen Tale broke up with an old girlfrie-" Quill cut off Swatch. "Who was his ex-girlfriend's name?" "Cheerilee, her name was Cheerilee." "She's one of my high school teachers. No wonder why she was always nicer to me than the other students, she was still friends with him after they broke up, right?" "Yep. But, to continue, your dad was walking down the halls when she saw Hit-Switch come up to him and hit him, making fun of your dad and calling him names. But your mom told him to get off, and she even punched him! But Hit-Switch slapped her... and that's when your dad LOST it," Swatch said. "What do you mean by that?" "Your dad hated when men overpowered women, he beat the shit out of him. And by that, I mean breaking 3 of his ribs, and breaking his nose. I saw the fight, your dad had Hit-Switch laying down against the lockers, kicking in his stomach. I think that's what would have been a motive for murder, revenge." "I know that feeling of rage." "And that's also how your mom and dad met, they actually talked to each other in the principles office, when Quill got suspended for ten days, but at lease there were no charges. And boy, was your Grandma PISSED." Quill smiled warmly. "Well, I better get some rest. I'll see you in the morning, Uncle Swift!" Quill retorted. Quill hugged his uncle, and walked upstairs, finding a separate bedroom from Rainbow Dash's. Quill put down his backpack in the corner, and climbed to into the bed, closing his eyes, falling asleep. But late in the night, Swatch shook Quill awake, Quill jumped when he woke up. "Come on, we need to get out of here! Grab your things!" Swatch loudly whispered. Quill picked himself up out of bed hastily, and snatched his backpack put the corner, also grabbing his rifle. Swatch and Quill ran to Rainbow Dash's room, shaking her awake. "Jesus FUCK!? What's the problem!?" She yelped. "The soldiers found our safe house, we need to get out of here!" Rainbow Dash got up quickly and grabbed her guns. Quill, Rainbow, and Swatch sped down the stairs, all three of them heard soldiers running around, and dogs barking, obviously the K-9 unit. Swatch went to a bookshelf at the end of the stairs. "Quill, give me a hand with this!" Quill rushed to his Uncle and pulled the book case while Swatch pushed. Rainbow Dash's eyes widened when she saw a gigantic hole in the wall. Quill and Swatch stopped and looked at the whole. "Now we gotta be careful going down their," Swatch said. Swatch went first, he leaped down, Quill went next, jumping down. Quill opened up his arms. "Okay, I got you, I got you." Rainbow Dash nodded and jumped down into Quill's arms, she smiled, and they both followed behind Swatch. Rainbow Dash heard the soldiers break into the house, she swallowed her heard and said, "We got company!" "Shit, find a place to hide, I need to clear a path!* Swatch said. Quill took Rainbow Dash's hand and ran through the hall, illuminated by flickering lights, the place looked like a basement cafeteria, eight-stool tables sat around, some rectangular tables were flipped over to be used as chest-high walls. Quill got the idea of using them to their advantage. Quill rain to one with Rainbow Dash, Quill poked his head out, and saw soldiers sprinting through the cafeteria, shooting at the direction where Swatch was running. A couple soldiers had bullets fly into their heads from Swatch's rifle. But Rainbow Dash pulled Quill's head down when she heard footsteps around the part of the cafeteria they hid in. "Scout around for the other two from earlier, they were spotted with the fugitive! They couldn't have gotten far!" The soldier shouted. Then it struck Quill's mind that his uncle was a wanted man. No wonder! All because of the Martial Law, Swatch had no choice but to put bullets in the heads of some soldiers. A corrupt government is never a government to trust. Quill luckily peaked his eye through a bullet-hole in the table, he saw three, count 'em, three soldiers in the cafeteria. Rainbow Dash handed Quill a beer bottle, she knew the drill! Quill tossed the bottle into the other half of the cafeteria. Two of the soldiers walked over to it, stupidly, being very gullible. Quill got out from behind the table, and grabbed the soldier by putting his arm under his neck, and putting his arm on his head. Quill pushed both his arms in, making the soldier drop his gun, and fall asleep in Quill's sleeper hold. One the military officer was out cold, Quill dragged him behind the table. The soldiers in the other half of the cafeteria turned back and saw the third one had disappeared. "Quill, I recognize one of them! The guy on the left is the one who killed that family!" Rainbow Dash whispered in anger. "Don't be-" Quill was cut off when Rainbow Dash poked out and shot the soldier on the left in the head, making him drop. Fortunately, Rainbow Dash ducked down in time to dodge the fire coming from the other soldier's rifle. "Stupid," Quill finished. Quill saw another chest-high wall made by a square table. Quill dashed to it quickly while the soldier fired at him, the soldier walked to the table, putting the barrel of his rifle to his head. "Night night!" The soldier said. Rainbow Dash sprung up and threw it at the soldier's head, the soldier dropped his gun, and Quill laid a full force punch to the soldier's jaw. The soldier fell down to the ground, covering his face. Quill stomped on the leg of the table, breaking it off. He grabbed it, and started to wham the soldier in the head with it, bashing in his face. Rainbow Dash almost threw up, but swallowed it. "Let's go..." She said. Follow The RiverChapter 5: Follow The River Quill vaulted over the table, and ran with Rainbow Dash down the cafeteria. They ran in on Swatch firing his rifle into the head of a military sergeant. Swatch saw them, and by instinct, he aimed his rifle at them. But when he realized it was his nephew and his best friend, he lowered his gun. "Glad you made it. Step aside, this is gonna make a loud bang." Swatch said. Swatch took some C4 off of the soldier's belt, it was modified. It had a timer, and a bigger explosion radius. Rainbow Dash's jaw dropped, and smiled. "Just like Call of Duty!" She grinned. Quill glowered at her, Rainbow Dash frowned. Swatch placed the C4 on the wall in his right and detonated the timer, and ran away, Quill and Rainbow got the idea and dashed the hell out of there! The C4 blew up. Making the brick wall crumble, revealing a sewer tunnel. "You know this place better than I ever will!" Quill laughed. Swatch winked at his nephew. More soldiers came tumbling down the stairs. "Sir, we got three runners on the inner perimeter! FIRE!" One of the soldiers shouted. Gunfire was the only thing anyone could hear, Quill pushed Swatch and Rainbow into the sewers, they ran for their lives. The sewers had a horrible rotting stench to it as always. They ran until they reached a ladder, Swatch climbed up the ladder, and lifted up the manhole grate with all his strength, and moving it to the side. The three climbed up, then Quill heard the zing of a bullet, and a grunt coming from his Uncle. "Uncle Swift, you okay!?" Quill asked. "N-No! I got shot in the fuckin' back! There's a base full of rebels at the end of the street! It's not f-far!" Swatch stuttered Quill wrapped his arm around his uncle, and felt rain drops. He jogged with Swatch across the street to an abandoned building. "They won't shoot us! They know me!" Swatch shouted. Military jeeps pulled up behind them, Quill heard the wheels skid across the when street, he gritted his teeth, and ran faster. "We can't stop now! Keep moving!" Quill yelped. Another flew into Swatch, swatch yelled loudly when the bullet made impact on his leg. He started to limp. "Quill, I can't take much more..." Swatch said as he ran out of breath. "Dammit, RAINBOW DASH, LAY THE FUCKING HURT ON THEM! Take my rifle!" Quill said as he tossed his M1 Garand to her hand. Rainbow Dash nodded, and aimed it at the heads of soldiers, busting caps, killing them. One soldier took another shot, and hit Swatch in the lower back. Swatch screamed in pain, Quill started to cry a bit. "No, NO. YOU'RE GETTING OUT OF THIS! DO YOU HEAR ME!?" Quill screamed. "We-We're almost th-th-there..." Swatch said as he started to walk slowly. "Keep moving. Don't stop here!" While Rainbow Dash killed a majority of the soldiers, Quill and Swatch were near the abandoned building, men and women came running out of the building, not aiming at Quill and Swatch, but the soldiers. "We made it! FUCKIN' A! WE MADE IT!" Quill yelled loudly. Swatch began to smile, despite the pain he was suffering. The happiness soon left when a sniper's bullet flew into Swatch's back, exiting out of his chest, the shot knocked the wind out of him, making him fall on the ground. Quill's eyes teared up as he knelt down to his Uncle, Swatch was loosing a lot of blood at a fast rate. "N-No... Uncle Swatch, w-we got to get you help..." Quill said as he began to cry. "THEN GO! Ack!" Swatch replied has he coughed up heavy amounts of blood. Swatch tried to pull himself up, but the effort in doing so caused more pain than ever, making him hit the ground harder. Quill flipped Swatch over, making him lay on his back. Quill saw the heavy load of blood spewing out of his Uncle's chest, Quill softly put his hands on the would, Swatch grunted in pain. "I-I'm gonna get you through this! D-Don't do this to me, Uncle!" "It's too fuckin' late, remember what I said! Follow the river!" Swatch yelled. "B-But you're gonna fucking DIE! I won't let you die on me!" "Quill, just follow... that god damn river... J-Just leave me..." Swatch closed his eyes, and breathed his last bit of air. Quill broke down, crying. "No... No..SOMEONE! ANYONE! HELP ME!" Rebels with all sorts of firearms ran past him. Quill picked up his Uncle with tears streaming down his cheeks. He walked slowly towards the building, until he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder, he was shot. The impact made him tremble, and fall down with his Uncle in his arms. Quill cracked his head on the pavement with tremendous force, making him pass out. Quill stopped remembering the memory, and screamed. "RAAAAAAAAAAH! YOU took him, God! WHY should I believe in a God who takes away ONE OF THE ONLY RELATIVES WHO LOVES ME!?" Quill screamed. However, when Quill felt the rage, it blew away like the wind. He felt happiness, so much that he couldn't help but crack a smile. It was God, he thought. "Now how the fuck do I get out of here?!" Quill's question was answered when a guard from upstairs was waving a flashlight around, beams of light shot through the cracks in the trapdoor, revealing weak points. Quill smiled and quietly walked to the trapdoor, he awaited for the guard to leave, once the guard did so, Quill took a swing at the trapdoor, it hurt his hand bad. "Ah, FUCK!" He yelled. But Quill had his sense of motivation, and took another swing with his right arm, the door got weaker. Quill ate the pain and swung with his left, breaking the door, he swung one last time at the door with his right fist, punching a large hole into the door. Quill yelped for joy! So he used his hands to remove any remaining wood on the door. Once there was enough space for his body to fit through, Quill lifted his arms up onto the floor of upstairs. Quill pulled himself up, the shards of wood scraped against him, but the pain was NOTHING to him. He made it to the top of the floor, and smiled. What was astonishing to him is that it was already nighttime, he noticed this my looking out the window to the left of Gilda's office, it seems remembering old memories make time fly by. Quill took one step and almost fell, Quill's bruises hurt more than before. But Quill managed to only limp. Quill limped quickly to the door, he only had his shirt, and jeans on. Hopefully the weather cleared, he thought. But when he opened the door and stepped outside, he felt the cold winter wind brush against him, Quill covered his face from the chilling breeze. He took his arms away from his face, and saw that there was a massive blizzard taking place, jeeps covered in snow, and many of Gilda's men surrounded the camp, protecting it. Quill luckily walked to the back of the cabin, keeping one of his arms over his face, and his other hand on his lower stomach. He limped through the heavy amount of soft snow that laid upon the ground. Quill desperately tried to limp to his cabin to grab his things. Quill guided himself to his humble abode, but saw guards on his porch. They were the soldiers that jumped him hours ago. "Those fucking dickbags." Quill whispered to himself. Quill limped to the back of the cabin, and peaked through his window, thank God that there was no one in there. He opened his window, and crawled in sneakily. Quill quietly closed his window, and scouted around for his backpack, and was happy to see it hung on his wall. He walked to it, and put on the black leather coat hanging on his coat rack, and buttoned it on him. "Need all the warmth I can get." He said. Quill stocked up by grabbing his belongings, such as his backpack, Sniper rifle, and his machete. He took the gun holsters off of the wall, containing his revolver, and his Five SeveN pistol, and strapped it onto his waste. I guess you could say that he looked like John Marston. Quill reached his hands into his jacket pocks, and pulled out the gloves and mask from earlier yesterday. He put the mask and gloves one, and was ready for any action. Since Quill had been on his bad leg for several minutes, he was growing used to the pain, letting him walk normally, and run for short periods of time. "Now to get the fuck out of here!" Quill silently walked to his door, he opened it, took out his revolver and shot one soldier in the head, while he hit the other in the side of the head with his machete, killing the both of them in a matter of six seconds. "That was easy." He ran back inside, looked out his door, and saw people with rifles come out of their cabins, hearing the gunshot. "Who the fuck was that!?" One man said. "It had to of been Quill, he shoots his gunnnnnns more than anyone else here! MOVE OUT, Gilda said if he escaped, to shoot him on sight!" Caramel said. "Fuck," Quill thought, "Gilda's got everyone in the camp on my ass!" A man ran into Quill's house with pistol, and saw him. "GUYS! I FOUND HIM!" The man yelled. Quill aimed his revolver at the mans chest, and took three shots, forcing him to the ground. The other men came running to the cabin, Quill kicked his window, breaking it, and jumped through it, only suffering minor injuries. "He went out the window!" Said one of the men. Quill sprinted across the snow, and into the woods, he lost the men that stood in his cabin. "Shit! we fucking lost him, Get his head! Or Gilda is going to have our balls mounted on her wall!" Caramel shouted. Quill saw all the men spreading out, going into every cabin, and every side of the camp. Quill managed to sneak up behind one, and grab his mouth, and shove his machete through him, exiting out through his stomach. The man met out muffled screams as his vision faded, and when every part of him ran cold. Quill dropped the dead man, and quietly moved at the back of cabins, where no man was. Quill silently prowled around until he saw Caramel, he smiled. Quill walked up behind him, and swung his machete down at his neck, making Caramel choke on his own blood. "Shhhh..." Quill whispered. Caramel closed his eyes, and his heart slowed down, and stopped. Since Caramel was dead, Quill pulled his machete off of his neck. A bullet whizzed by Quill's head, he turned his head and saw a sniper from afar. Quill ran to the back of one cabin, taking cover. "Quill took two of us down! Including Caramel! He's behind Levi's cabin!" The sniper shouted. Quill put his revolver in his holster, and pulled out his Five SeveN. A man in a ghillie suit popped out from the shadows and ran at Quill with an axe. Quill shot the man in the leg, and the head, killing him. "WHERE'S GILDA!?" Quill shouted as he took cover on the back wall of the cabin. Quill gripped his machete in this other hand, until he heard one more coming from the side of the house. Quill ran to the side, and swung his machete without looking. The blade went into the face of a man, in his eyes. "AAAAAAAAAAH!" The man screamed in pain. Quill took out the machete, and the man lost his balance. Quill chopped the man several times in the back, making him bleed to death. Quill ran into the center of the camp, seeing many snipers on the roofs reloading. Quill took a shot at one in the head, making him into a ragdoll, and falling off the roof. The other sniper heard the commotion, and saw Quill run into a cabin. "Fuck, I missed him!" the sniper said. And all of the sudden, Quill grabbed the sniper by the neck, and put his pistol to his head, holding him as a hostage. "Now, you're gonna fucking tell me where Gilda is!" Quill growled. "I ain't telling you SHIT!" The sniper replied. "I'll bust a cap in your head if you don't tell me in THE NEXT THIRTY SECONDS!" "Okay, Okay! Gilda left with a majority of our guys to get to Quarantine Zone 5B two hours ago! There's a map in my back pocket! Take it! Just don't fuckin' kill me, man!" The sniper confessed. Quill kept the gun at his head, and reached into his back pocket, and pulled out a crumbled up shred of paper "Thanks," Quill said. Quill kicked the sniper down to the ground, and shot him in the back of the head as he tried to get up. Quill uncrumbled the shred of paper, and saw a map of Missouri. "The fuck?" Quill said to himself. This couldn't be true, the map said in black marker "Follow The River." Just like his uncle said years ago, follow the river. The map was a shredded scrap of paper. Jefferson City was circled in red, and called "Camp Roanoke." Named after the lost colony, and that was what the camp that Quill lived in, and a blue line, in which was the Missouri River was highlighted in yellow. St. Louis was circled in blue, and named "Quarantine Zone 5B". This map was going to be useful. "There he is! FUCKIN' SHOOT THE FUCKHEAD!" Shouted one of Gilda's guards. Quill ducked and took cover, while the guards shot at the roof. Quill looked at the dead sniper's belt, and saw a grenade. Quill smiled at the idea that came to mind, so he took it off of the belt. Quill put his finger through the ring of the pin, and pulled it out. He threw it down at them, and if fell in the snow. The four guards git curious, because if fell deep in the snow. And then, it blew up, sending all four of the men back. Quill slip down the ladder into the cabin, and ran out. He ran to one of the jeeps, luckily, he ran to the only one that had gas in it. Quill opened the door, and was relieved to see the key still in the slot. Quill slammed the key in tightly, twisted it, and started the jeep. Two of the men that were blasted by the grenade stood up, and fired their guns at Quill, most of the shots missed Quill, while the rest it the van. He pulled out and drove on the snow covered path surrounded by trees. "Shoot the god damn tires!" Said one of the men. But it was too late, Quill drove far enough away from them, he took a deep breath of relief, and kept driving, with a smile... Not Dead YetChapter 6: Not Dead Yet The sun rose, and Quill's mouth formed into the shape of a "U", forming a smile. Quill had driven most of the night, but only slept for 3 hours. Quill drove down an abandoned road, looking at all the trees near him, and basking in the sun as he drove. Quill wasn't that far away from Quarantine Zone 5B. Hopefully, Quill might make it to St. Louis before Gilda does, considering that she and her men always make a camp for the night, and stay there until noon. But since Quill was one the move since daybreak, he'll make it there in no time. By the estimate of Quill's guesses, he'll make it there in about a half an hour. "I'll be there soon... Rainbow Dash" Quill whispered to himself. On the way there, Quill thought about his mistakes, and shortcomings. He made a big mistake getting Rainbow Dash pregnant, obviously. And he made a mistake for joining Gilda's rebellion. Quill looked down and clenched the steering wheel, having a painful look on his face. Quill whole-heartedly believed that everybody around him eventually dies. His dad died because of him, his mother died because of him, and his uncle died because of him. It was only matter of time before the same thing happened to Rainbow Dash and Soarin', he thought. "Why am I a deathtrap?" Quill asked himself, "Why is it that....Why is it that the only people I have left...are sn-snatched away from me?" Quill started having conversations with himself. As strange as it may sound, it kept Quill's stress level down. But one thing that never left his mind was GILDA. As soon as he'd talk about Gilda, that's when his anger would reach the max. "That bitch... Threaten to kill Rainbow Dash, and humiliate my uncle... This is your last day on Earth..." Quill told himself. Meanwhile, at the Quarantine Zone, Rainbow Dash woke up from her bed, bright and early. A horrible night yet again, but hey, it was sleep. Rainbow Dash rose the upper half of her body up, stretching her arms and yawning. Rainbow Dash rubbed her eyes, and noticed that under her eyes, were bags. She groaned while she scratched her arm. Rainbow Dash brushed her hair out of her face, and felt a strong kick in her stomach, a bit painful! She looked down at her enlarged stomach, and smiled as she rubbed it softly. "Soon..." She whispered. Rainbow Dash woke up in a grey shirt, bigger than her natural size. She got out of bed only wearing that shirt, and her underwear. Rainbow Dash was living in a small house, pretty cozy for her. Her bedroom had posters of Five Finger Death Punch, ACDC, Green Day, and Ozzy Osbourne. Her dresser was to the right of her bed, and the door was on the far left of the room. Rainbow Dash felt that she was home again. When Soarin' was in Canterlot months ago, he had found Rainbow Dash's house, run down, and trashed. Soarin' had found her room but most of everything was trashed. Soarin' collected what he could, and gave it all back to Rainbow Dash, like a picture of her and Quill in front of the school, Rainbow Dash put that picture in a frame and set it on her dresser, so she could see the father of her child every morning she woke up. She looked at it, and smiled. "Someday, I hope you come back... Quill," she said. Rainbow Dash opened her dresser, and took out some jeans and laid them on the bed, and walked to her dresser mirror. She noticed how much of a bedhead she had. Rainbow Dash chucked, after that, she walked out of her room, and into her bathroom. Taking off her clothes, she set them on the sink. Since the water was functioning in the Quarantine Zone, she could actually bathe like a normal person, using a shower. Rainbow Dash pulled open the curtain, and turned the knobs, making the water shoot out into the tub. She smiled and stepped in, and let the water run on her. The sensation was relaxing. While Rainbow Dash had her shower, Soarin' was with his rebel friends, playing cards. "Okay, got anyyyy,,,, threes?" One of the Rebels said. "Nope, go fish, fucker!" Soarin' said playfully. The rebel sighed, and dipped his hand into the pile of cards that sat on the table. Soarin' was laughing, they all joked around, making fun of each other in playful ways. The group laughed their asses off with every joke, word, or face they made to each other. But it all went wrong, very wrong. Everyone heard gunfire at the gates. "Guys, to arms!" Soarin' yelled. The rebels with their camouflage uniforms ran to their M16 Assault rifles, and ran to the gates. Soarin' saw about eleven jeeps containing Gilda's soldiers. "Drive is in there, don't kill those soldiers," Gilda said. "Stop! What's your god damned business here!?" Soarin' yelled. "You best get out of the way before this jeep squashes you like a bug!" Gilda replied. Soarin' stood in front, preventing them from going through. "Take him," Gilda said. Then five soldiers hopped out of the jeep, and circled Soarin' with their rifles. "My friends, would be so kind as to drop your weapons?" Gilda asked. Soarin' and his friends dropped their rifles. The five soldiers grabbed them, and brought them into the jeeps. Gilda marched the jeeps into the Quarantine Zone. Soarin' was in the back of the jeep Gilda was in, while Soarin's friends sat in different jeeps, being teased by Gilda's men. Gilda sat in the passenger, while one rebel took control of the jeep. Gilda turned around, and faced Soarin'. "Now you're going to tell me where Rainbow Dash is," Gilda demanded. "Who the fuck are you talking about?" Soarin' replied. Gilda reached her arm around and punched Soarin' in the jaw, the soldier by Soarin's side held him from hitting Gilda. "Tell me, or I'll kill those friends of yours," Gilda threatened Soarin'. Soarin' growled, he wasn't going to let Gilda know at all. "If I knew, what do you want with her?" Soarin' asked with blood coming from his lip. Gilda slapped Soarin' hard, saying, "Didn't your mother ever tell you to keep your nose out of someone else's business?" Gilda asked with a maniacal smile. Soarin' growled again, this time, with so much rage. Gilda just smiled at him as they drove through the neighborhood. Back to Rainbow Dash. Dashie had finished her shower, and already gotten dressed. Until she heard jeeps coming down the street. How odd, she thought. The military jeeps here don't ever come down these streets... never. "This ain't right," Rainbow Dash said to herself. Rainbow Dash went into her bedroom closet, and grabbed a box of shotgun shells, and a double-barreled shotgun. The gun was loaded and ready for use, Rainbow Dash sat on her bed, and thought, and thought......and thought. Gilda made her soldiers spread out around the neighborhood. "Gather everyone, search the houses! All of them!" Gilda shouted. Two soldiers went into the house Rainbow Dash lived in, being that she was in there, it was going to go wrong of course! Could I be wrong? No, Since when am I wro-....shut up. Anyway, the soldiers sped upstairs, one checked the bathroom, while the other went into Rainbow Dash's room. Rainbow Dash pulled one trigger on her shotgun, and shot the soldier in cold blood, the other soldier heard the loud, annoying sound, and ran into the room. And that soldier was shot by the pregnant woman too! Rainbow Dash laughed! "Ha! Like lambs to the slaughter!" She said. ` No soldier outside heard the shots, but Rainbow Dash reloaded, and went into the second bedroom, and looked out of the windows on the far side of the room. She saw many, many military jeeps! Rainbow Dash put on of her hands on her mouth, she grew frightened, very frightened. But since Quill taught her a thing or two about fighting, she wasn't going down without a struggle, even when pregnant. "Have you found her yet?" Gilda asked to a pair of her soldiers. Gilda's jeep sat in the center of the town, with houses surrounding her. The soldiers responded no, and that's when Gilda blew a gasket. "Fucking search in EVERY HOUSE!" Gilda yelled. "No need to, I got her!" A soldier behind Gilda's jeep came up to her slowly, holding someone. Gilda turned her head around, and smiled to see Rainbow Dash was being held with a gun at her head. How was she found this quickly? Did she put up the fight? However, those questions didn't mean a thing. "So my men were right. You are nearly nine months pregnant," Gilda stated. "Yeah, I am, what the hell to you want to know about it?" Rainbow Dash said with her hands being held in cuffs. Gilda cot out of her jeep, and slowly walked in front of Rainbow Dash, smiling. "I sent many spies over here, you killed a majority, but you didn't manage to get all of them. They overheard your conversations, and I found out Soarin' isn't the father," Gilda explained. "What are you talking about!? He is the dad!!" Rainbow Dash screamed. "Does the name Quill Tale ring a bell to you?" Gilda asked in an evil tone. "Why you fucking BITCH!" Rainbow Dash tried to get out of the soldier's grasp to attack Gilda. "Now, now! Settle down, Rainbow Dash. The father of your child is still alive! Well.... I'm not so sure because he might have broken out of my basement and got shot." Rainbow Dash had tears coming from her eyes. She tried to break out of the grasp once again, but to no avail. So Rainbow Dash spit on GIlda's black winder coat. Gilda chuckled, then ran her fist into Rainbow Dash's face. "Disrespect gets you a ticket to DEATH, Dash." "Fuck you, Gilda... Just...fuck you." Rainbow Dash responded. "Soldier, I've had it with this bitch, put a bullet in her head. Forget about the execution!" Gilda yelled at her rebel. The Rebel Soldier aimed his rifle at Rainbow Dash's head, while she laid upon the ground. But in a matter of one second, the soldier fell down. Gilda was startled, and saw the soldier's head was leaking blood, he was shot by a sniper. Gilda squinted and looked around. Gilda picked Rainbow Dash up, putting an arm around her neck, pulling out her gun from her holster, and putting it to Rainbow Dash's head. "Kill him," Gilda ordered her soldier in the jeep. The soldier in the van with Soarin' put his gun to his head. But that soldier was killed too! And Gilda saw it play out. But Soarin' hopped out of the van, and ran down the snowy road with his gun. Gilda fired at Soarin' from her pistol, but missed the shots. "SNIPEEEEER!" Gilda yelled. Gilda's men ran out of the houses, and ran around the neighborhood, looking and searching. Quill, from afar, lowered the aim on his gun, and smiled. Quill had made it, just in time. The man with the thick beard, and long brown hair looked down at Gilda from a large hill outside of the Quarantine. Quill saw some motion from his naked eye, his instincts kicked in when he put the sniper scope to his eye, and observed as Gilda was attacking his impregnated friend. This enraged Quill, he brushed his fingers across the rifle, to the trigger, but Quill was hit in the head with quite a heavy rock. "Aaah!" Quill shouted as he rubbed the back of his head. He turned around and saw a soldier running up the hill. Of course, he was the only one who through that tank of a rock. All the soldier had was a tomahawk, Quill dropped the rifle, due to the short distance between the two of them, and ran after the soldier. The armed man went to swing for Quill, but Quill ducked, and grabbed the soldiers feet, pulling him down. Quill reached into the pocket inside his jacket, and pulled out his knife. He crawled onto the soldier and started to plunge the knife into him relentlessly. The red, thick blood leaked from the soldier's stomach, onto the dusty, snowy ground. Red snow surrounded the soldier's body. When Quill realized he had enough, he pulled himself off of him, gazing at the mangled soldier with the knife in his bloody hands. Quill ran back to his rifle, using his scope, he saw Gilda was ramming her fist into Rainbow Dash's face. The rage and adrenaline flowed through Quill's vanes. Quill pulled the trigger, but heard only a click. He rushed into the pouches of his belt, looking for clips, or bullets. Quill's heart sank when he knew that he ran out of ammunition for his Sniper Rifle. "No, no, no, no, NO!" Quill threw his rifle down the hill. Quill turned his head all around, looking for something to help him. Luck struck in when Quill spotted his jeep from down the hill. So, he ran down the hill, almost tripping and tumbling down the snowy path. Once the jeep was within reach, he jumped into it, and noticed that it wasn't his jeep! He reached himself around, and saw a fully automatic M16 Assault Rifle. Unfortunately, there was only one full clip loaded with thirty rounds, and a spare clip only holding a simple majority of rounds. Quill reached his arm to it and tossed it too his other arm. Since the jeep was already started, he sped through the snow to the Quarantine Zone. Soldiers stood by the closed fence gates, and with one arm, Quill held the rifle, and fired it with one hand on the wheel, firing it at the soldiers. Only five or six rounds sent them to the ground. The jeep ran into the fence gates, breaking them open. Quill kicked open the jeep door, and ducked behind it while more soldiers ran to his position. "We know it's you, Quill! STEP AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE!" One soldier shouted. Quill peaked his head out from the jeep with the Assault rifle in his hands. "Fuck you!" Quill shot the soldier in the head. More soldiers started to fire at the jeep, Quill poked his head out, and fired many rounds at a majority of the soldiers, blood shot from their wounds as they lost their balance, making them fall into the snow. "Retreat! RETREAT!" The rest of the soldiers ran away. Quill felt a balled up fist hit his face, knocking him down. The man kept hitting Quill, until the man noticed who he was. Quill sprung up and decked the man in the face hard. "Quill, STOP!" Soarin' shouted. "S-Soarin'!? What the fuck did you hit me for!?" "Maybe because I thought you one of that bitches henchmen. Now why are you back!?" Soarin' asked. "Because I KNOW that bitch. She was my boss, and that's all I'm going to explain right now. But that's beside the point, our main objective is to KILL GILDA, got it?" Quill replied. "Okay, let's see how great of a team we make" Soarin' said with a determined smile. Two Against ManyChapter 7: Two Against Many "I hate teaming with someone, but if I have to.... I'll do it," Quill replied. Soarin' smiled to his sentence. Soarin' was holding Winchester Repeating rifle, which was naded down his family ever since the Civil War. Quite a good rifle if you ask me! Quill noticed his old-fashioned weapon, and grew quite curious. "Is that the Winchester Repeater?" Quill asked. "Yeah, like I have time to explain. Can we just go fucking kill?" Soarin' replied. Quill ran across the street to a guardrail, ducking for more cover, Soarin' grew a frown. "Fuck you too," Soarin' said. Soarin's eyes the spied on a soldier walking up behind Quill, he took a shot at him in the back, and quickly reloaded. Quill heard the scream of the soldier, so he turned back. Seeing the bleeding man, Quill threw his fist into his face multiple times. Unleashing a painful combo on his face. The soldier fell to the ground, blood leaking from his nose. Quill stomped on his face, cracking and shattering the side of the soldier's face. "RAAH!" Quill screamed as he continued to stomp on the man's jaws. The whole bottom half of the man's face ripped off, the tissue covering the man's jaw was torn as Quill stomped his boot on him. The skin was ripped and torn, and the jaw was smashed. The soldier started to screech without his bottom jaw, the thick crimson liquid spewed from the man's mouth. Soarin', from afar at the back of the jeep, watched in horror. "Quill... what happened to you?... You have no mercy...." Soarin' whispered to himself Quill held his rage, and beckoned Soarin' to follow. Soarin' nodded, and ashed to Quill's side. "Why the hell didn't you kill that fuck? You have bad aim!?" Quill grunted. "No. I wanted to see what you'd do to that soldier. What happened to your mercy!?" Soarin' answered. Quill ran down the street further, past all the jeeps and dead soldier's that laid in the snow. Soarin' stomped through the snow beside him. He looked all around Quill, seeing the beautiful, graceful snow glide slowly down to the ground, falling to the ground. The sky had no sun anymore, instead, a light grey sheet covered the dome sky. Soarin' and Quill felt as if they were trapped in a snow globe. The cold winter breeze brushed across their cheeks. Soarin' realized, that Quill had changed outrageously. What happened to the old Quill? Soarin' thought. No more laughing Quill, all he did was yell and scream as he killed someone. No more happy Quill, instead, the new Quill was always angry and heartless. Quill knew that Soarin' noticed his change, but the amount of fucks that Quill gave hit the bear the minimum. "When you live in hell for seventeen years, you learn that mercy is good for just ONE thing." Quill replied. Soarin' gave an irritated stare."And what the fuck is that, Quill?" "Gettin' you fucking killed. Now will you stop being a bitch, and scout for more soldiers?" Quill requested. Soarin' sighed. He ran past the the jeep, and peeked around other jeeps, looking down the white snowy paths to find more soldiers, fortunately, Soarin' saw none. "Any there?" Quill loudly whispered. Soarin' turned his head to him, and shook it. Quill sped to Soarin's side while crouching behind the guardrail at the right of all the jeeps. Quill stuttered during his breathing, the temperature had to be almost below zero! Then BAM! The ricochet of a bullet was heard right near Soarin's head, Quill tackled Soarin' to the ground. "GET THE FUCK DOWN! We ain't done here yet, Soarin'!" Quill dragged Soarin' to the side of another jeep. Flashbangs were thrown at the jeep. Quill and Soarin's sight were saved, due to the protective van in front of them. The flash of the projectile would have pierced their eyesight. "How much ammo you got in that thing?" Soarin' said as heloaded rounds into his Winchester repeater, holding some bullets in this teeth. "Not that much, but enough to put down a whole gang of them!" Quill replied as he gripped his rifle. Soldier after soldier stormed down the snowy paths. As astonished as they were, how could these two men take down a whole fleet of soldiers? Couldn't the question be different, like this! How about a heartless, badass fuck and a trained officer teaming up to kill what seems to be a whole nineteen thousand waves of armed men just to get to one nagging bitch. Seems like a landslide of a battler here, or, it's random! Quill peeked his head out, and shot a couple soldiers in their dome pieces, making them tumble into the snow. Quill closed his eyes, and grit his teeth, trying to come up with a tactic. The brainstorming came in handy when he though up he good idea he desperately needed. Quill dropped his rifle, and took of his backpack, Soarin' shot soldiers from behind the jeep, giving Quill time. Until he noticed Quill goofing around with his backpack. "Did you take acid as a fetus? Because you're supposed to be HELPING ME HERE!" Soarin' yelled. Soarin' observed Quill pull out a weird looking pistol with quite a large barrel. But that wasn't all, Quill reached his hand in and pulled out a can of tear gas. Soarin' smiled widely, showing his teeth. Quill tossed Soarin' a gas mask, and Quill put one on himself. Soarin' stopped firing, and draped the gas mask over his face like Quill did. "Great idea," Soarin' said in his muffled voice, due to the gas mask. Quill yanked the pin, and through the can as the gas streamed through the air. The soldier's coughed and gagged on the gas, most dropped to the snow, covering their faces while they wallowed around. The soldier's were screeching loud. Quill picked his rifle back up, and ran away from the sight, Soarin' stayed by his side. Running down the snow street, past all of the neighborhood houses, the street lights gazed over the two running friends, not shining their orange light. Quill stopped dead in his tracks, with a blank face, the face was then filled full of worry. Soarin' got angry. "Why did you stop!?" "We need to think, where could Gilda be... All we did was run through soldiers, getting us nowhere," Quill explained. "No, save the thinking, you're gonna need all of that power to think about how I kill you," Quill turned around to see Gilda standing on the porch of a house, holding Rainbow Dash by the neck with her arm, and holding her gun to her head. Gilda stood in the porch of a house with a black steel spade fence. It seemed this house had a garden, and the person who lived here was quite rich. "Oh, now you're done," Quill started walking towards Gilda. "Ah, ah, ah!" Gilda gripped her pistol tighter, Quill stopped in his tracks. "You move one more step, she dies." "Baby..." Rainbow Dash had her eyes full of tears, no doubt that she was very frightened. "Drop 'em. Drop your guns, boys," Gilda pointed down to the snow with the barrel of her gun. Quill and Soarin' dropped their rifles, Gilda smiled. "Quill, there ain't any doubt in my mind that you have a heart of ice, so why do you want me to spare this girl's life?" Gilda asked Quill. Quill was silent. He only gave an angry regretful look to his former boss, Gilda laughed and laughed. "It's done, Quill. There's nothing more you can do! I win, you lose. Sorry that you won't ever get to see your kid, oh well!" Gilda pushed the barrel into Rainbow Dash's temple hard. Rainbow Dash saw red, she elbowed Gilda in the sternum, knocking the wind out of her. But Rainbow wasn't done there, she bit Gilda in the arm so hard, that her teeth pierced through the black leather sleeve, and into her skin. The rainbow-haired girl quickly broke free from Gilda's grasp, and hastily ran away. "You fucking WHORE," Gilda screamed as she aimed her pistol at Rainbow Dash. Soarin' pulled put his pistol from his holster and shot the gun out of Gilda's hand. Quill ran up the porch steps and tackled Gilda. He plowed through the door with her, breaking the whole thing! Gilda was rammed into the living room of the house, hitting a wall. Quill delivered a gut punch to her sternum. Gilda gained her breath, and kneed Quill in his nether regions, forcing him back. Gilda gave a devastating right cross to Quill's cheek. He stumbled to the carpet floor. Gilda walked up to Quill, and took the guns out of his holsters, tossing them in opposite directions. And took off his backpack, tossing it aside. "You got the balls to fight me? Come at me, bitch." Gilda spat in Quill's face. The man that was sent to the ground rose up and threw his elbow into Gilda's face. Quill took Gilda's head, and smashed her face into the wall three to four times. Gilda hit Quill's forehead with the back of hers, she reached her arm on a nightstand, yanked a lamp out of the wall, and she threw it at Quill's head. Quill's rage reached it's peak. He unleashed a hurricane of pain into one fist, sending it to Gilda's jaw. Finally, Gilda was sent to the ground, and Quill grabbed her head once again, and shoved it into the ground hard. "EAT THAT DIRT," He shouted. Gilda kicked Quill's ankle, making him lose his balance. he fell down right on his face, Gilda crawled to the stairs, and managed to get on her feet. Quill brough himself up, putting his hands on the soft red carpet. He witnessed Gilda limp up the stairs hastily. "Oh no, you're gonna finish what you started," Quill got to his knees, and to his feet. Quill took off his leather jacket, revealing his blue flannel shirt. He stomped up the stairs, Gilda heard the loud thuds coming towards her, adrenaline pumped through her vanes. Quill was right about her opening a can of worms. By then, Quill stepped forward to enter into a hallway containing two doors on his left, and one door on his right. All the doors were closed, which room was Gilda in? What a mystery to be solved. "Crafty girl," Quill whispered. Quill stomped through the hall slowly, his boots squeaked against the wooden floor as he tried to lift another up for a step. The bearded man rested the palm of his hand on one of the door's knobs. Quill twisted it as nimble as can be, and swung it open. All Quill saw was a girls bedroom, he looked around, no closet anywhere. How odd, he thought. Quill walked to the door to the right. He flung it open, and was assaulted when Gilda grabbed him by the shirt, and rammed him into the wall of the bathroom, the mirror sat on the wall to Gilda's right side, while the tub stood to the left of her. Gilda grasped her hands around his neck, she clenched hard. Quill could move, he put his hands on her wrists. He chocked, gagged, and coughed while he lost oxygen. Gilda turned her head to the mirror. She took one of her arms off of Quill's neck, and forced her fist into the mirror. "Aah!" Gilda screeched Blood trickled from her knuckles. But for her, it was a payoff because right below the mirror sat the sink. Broken glass fell into the sink, Gilda grabbed a long, sharp shard of glass from it, and rammed it to Quill's shoulder. Luckily, Quill caught Gilda's wrist containing the shard right before it could break into Quill's shoulder. The two grunted as they added more force into their arms. Gilda pushed her wrist hard, while Quill counter-pushed, pushing it away. But Gilda had an advantage, she had the shard in her right hand, the strongest hand. Quill was using his left hand to push her wrist back. He started to lose strength. and Gilda pushed forward. Quill couldn't hold her back anymore, he lost enough strength for Gilda to succeed. The shard's blade broke through Quill's sleeve, and his skin. He let out a blood-curdling yell as the blade sunk into his shoulder. Gilda smiled with an evil manner, as a matter of fact, she started to giggle as Quill screamed. The soft giggles soon turned into blaring laughs. Quill couldn't take the pain anymore, so he took his other hand off of her left wrist, and pushed her off, forcing her back. He gasped for air, and yanked the long glass shard out of his shoulder. Blood soaked Quill's sleeve, but no care or worry filled his heart or mind. Quill dashed to Gilda and kicked her hard in the shin, she lost her balance, and fell down to her hands and knees. Quill grabbed her white hair, and dragged her out of the bathroom. She screamed and nagged as she struggled to get out of Quill's grasp. Gilda kicked her legs around, but it did nothing to help her. "Quit your fuckin' bitching," Quill ordered. Quill dragged Gilda into the girls room, seeing that there was a window in the center of the right wall when you come in. he let go, and picked her up, bringing her to her feet. Gilda delivered a headbutt to Quill's face, making him dazed, and sending him to the floor. Gilda looked in the corner of the room, and saw a metal baseball bat. Oh the ideas that came to mind! Leaving So SoonChapter 8: Leaving So Soon Rainbow Dash was at Soarin's side. She held him tightly, and wept. "Thank God you two came at the right time..." Rainbow Dash had tears streaming down her face. Soarin' held her in his arms softly, comforting her. He wiped the tears from her eyes, and smiled at her. Rainbow Dash finally cracked open her grin, and forgot all the tears. However, screams were heard inside the house, Quill was yelling and shouting at an outrageously loud volume. Inside the house, upstairs, Gilda was beating Quill the metal bat from the corner. Gilda swung it at Quill's side as he tried to get up. He let out a grunt when he was plowed to the ground. "You just won't fucking DIE will you!?" Gilda shouted as she swung the bat at Quill's back. Quill lost his balance on his arms and fell flat on the carpet. He coughed up blood, it splattered on the carpet he laid upon. The pain that surged throughout his body was unbearable. That one word, Pain, never left Quill's mind. As the bat was struck upon his back again and again, the rage was rising. Quill started to growl and grunt. Gilda laughed as she swung the bat on him. Quill desperately tried to pull himself up. "Aaaah!" He'd scream when Gilda struck him with the bat! "How's it feel, Quill? Huh!? HUH!??!" Gilda shouted. Gilda swung the bat again at his back. While Gilda laughed, Quill stormed up, and pushed her to the ground hard, making a loud bang. Gilda got a chance to get to her feet, and she gave an uppercut to Quill's jaw, it felt like a needle to Quill. He swung left and right at Gilda's face, knocking some of her teeth out. She had her back turned towards the window of the room, and she was getting pretty close. Gilda, fortunately for herself, kicked Quill's stomach, and started to throw her fist into his face many times. Quill's nose started to bleed, and his lip was busted, letting out the crimson blood. The bloody rage was building... and building. "Now Quill, UNH!" Gilda whammed her fist into Quill's jaw, "Let me tell you somethin'... You knew... You fuckin' knew...didn't you?" "The fuck do you mean?" Quill spit out the blood coming from his blood. "You fuckin' knew all along that you ain't leaving this alive," Gilda explained, "This little hero stunt just cost you your life. It's all fun & games until someone tries to play hero!" "Now listen here," Quill regained his balance, "I am NOT doing this for them. I came for you, you threaten my friends, and humiliate my uncle. And y'know, on top of that, you have your guards beat the shit out of me." Gilda chuckled. "Yeah, when you lie to me, saying you don't know no Rainbow Dash, but I find out you boinked her pussy and got her pregnant. That seems about right that I fuck you up." The rage reached it's peek, and Quill ran at her. The window of the room was inches away from her. Quill lodged his boot into her stomach, kicking her at the window. Gilda stumbled back, and crashed through the window, the glass shattered and cracked. Gilda was falling to her doom. But then... she landed on something metal, she was laying down in a thin metal. Gilda looked down at her stomach, and saw one of the spikes an the spaded black fence went clean through her, blood started leaking from her wound. "F-Fuck you... Quill..." blood started to leak from Gilda's mouth. "Oh my God!" Rainbow Dash shouted in awe. "O-Oh Christ..." Soarin' walked towards her with Rainbow Dash. Soarin' and Rainbow Dash slowly walked up to Gilda, mounted on the fence. Quill walked out of the house, seeing Gilda on the black metal fence from the doorway. Gilda could see the victory in his eyes, he already had his things on him, such as his pistols, and his bag. Quill started to walk towards her, Gilda tried her best to get up from the spike, but it only caused more pain. And just like that, Gilda turned her head again to see Quill's face inches away from hers. "You wanna know what's funny?" Quill asked? Gilda spat in his face, Quill knew her vision was fading. "What's funny is... is that you thought I was a former assassin before this infection." Quill chuckled. "So w-what the fuck are you trying to say to me!?" Gilda was panting heavily. "I was just a senior at Canterlot High, and this high school student just kicked your fucking ass," Quill said. Quill pulled out his machete from the side of his backpack, and swung it at Gilda's neck, she started to gargle on her blood frantically. Quill swung it again, and sliced through the bone and brain stem, killing her. Quill swung it a third time, and severed her head. Gilda's head hit the ground like a bowling ball. Blood spurted from the body's neck like a fountain. Rainbow Dash couldn't hold it, and she ran to Quill, hugging him tightly, hot tears streamed down her face. "Thank you so much! You don't know how much... I wanted you back..." Rainbow Dash cried. "I'm back for now. I'm all yours, Dash," Quill said with his warm smile. Rainbow Dash unleashed her passion, and kissed his lips, wrapping her arms around his neck. Quill touched her tongue with his, they both closed their eyes. Rainbow Dash slightly moaned and moaned as they made out. Soarin' was kneeling on the ground with one knee, and resting his elbow on the barrel of his gun, and the butt standing on the pavement. He looked around, and saw soldiers retreating, every one of them... cowards. Rainbow Dash stopped kissing him, and hugged him tighter, crying on his shoulder. But later that very day, Quill and Soarin' sat in Rainbow Dash's living room. The flat screen television sat in the front of the room, and the stairs sat at the far left. Chairs and furniture sat around a square glass table. Soarin had his elbows on his knees while he sat in a recliner, unreclined. Quill sat on the couch, Rainbow Dash was resting her head on his shoulder, sleeping. "Dammit Quill, just change your mind. You don't want to hurt Rainbow Dash more than last time." Soarin' whispered. "What do you mean?" "W-When you left, Rainbow Dash had an emotional breakdown, then a mental breakdown... like a wire or two in her shorted out. She took out her knife and tried to cut your baby out of her stomach," Soarin' explained, "I tried my damnedest to get the knife out of her hands, but she fought hard, Quill. You taught her enough to kill a whole fleet of soldiers." "That's my Dash. That's the girl I love! But to when I left... you got her to stop, right?" Quill retorted with a question. "Mhm, I did. While you were gone, she'd still have emotional breakdowns three times a day. Why do you have to leave again? You know she misses you, you' don't want to cause her more pain than she needs," Soarin' scratched his head. "I can't give that baby a good home. And my trip ain't done yet, I still haven't found any research for a cure... But all in all, I don't deserve, nor do I have the right to be a father," Quill replied. Soarin' nodded. And the night fell, the sound of the frosty wind made the night more beautiful, only if... happy endings could be true this time around...
Cold WintersChapter 1: Cold Winters "Ah!
