Pinkamena Diane Pie, a pony that knows everypony, has a habit of giving her best friends a Hearts and Hooves day gift every year. One year however, she finds herself having a peculiar problem with one of her closest friends.

She's done this for a few years for her, and suddenly she starts having some strange feeling that confuses her more than when Marble Pie decided that she wanted to be a rock when she grew up. (Luckily it was just a phase, but a strange one no less)

Now though, she is trapped inside of the home with said friend and must learn to cope with the new feeling that neither one really understands.
