Chapter 5

It has been five days since I became the new pack leader.

The first thing we did after the meal, was transporting the gems to the castle. The diamond dogs had carts in the caves that we used to transport the gems with. We also took all the other things that could come in handy. You know, things like scissors, clothes and mining tools

We also brought the food with us. This was more difficult to transport, as we needed to make sure that we didn’t crush certain kinds of foods. But I figured that even though this would take longer to take with us, it would still be beneficial. The food was enough for around two days, if we were careful

But after 8 fucking hours, we finally had everything transported.

But because it was already very late, I ordered them to go to sleep. The next morning, I told them what we would do. (After breakfast, of course)

Every vein in my body told me to make an attack on Ponyville and get even with those stupid ponies. But my rational thinking stopped me from launching an attack. There were way more ponies in Ponyville then that I had Diamond dogs to help me. Plus, these diamond dogs have no training whatsoever. And even if we manage to destroy Ponyville, then we would draw attention to us that we couldn’t use right now

So I decided that 15 diamond dogs would stay with me at the castle, and help me rebuild it. From the 15 diamond dogs that were over, I decided that 10 of them would go hunting and gather food. The other 5 diamond dogs would go and rob small farms and houses that were at the edge of the forest. That would give us furniture, without drawing too much attention to us

And this continued for three days like this. After the third day, a lot of the castle was already rebuild with the rocks from the mine. The group that was robbing houses brought home a few beds and furniture. It wasn’t enough for everybody, but it was a start.

I’m reading a book in the library right now, trying to find out what to do next. It would be neat to have more soldiers, but then I have to go out of Equestria to find them, and we just renovated this castle.

I also thought about getting some kind of informant that can tell us what’s going on in the rest of Equestria. I need to know what’s going on in the rest of the country, because that can be really beneficial. But that idea is also not possible yet, as the ponies think that all Diamond dogs are brutes, and don’t allow them into their cities.

‘’Boss, boss!’’

I looked up from my book to see a one of my soldiers running to me

‘’This better be important,’’ I said to him as he came to halt in front of me

‘’We have finished making the smelter.’’

Oh, I forgot to tell you. I also ordered them to make a smelter and other tools to make armor and weapons. The mine that lies next to the castle has a lot of iron in it, and I can use that to make weapons and armor for the soldiers.

Yesterday, I was reading a book that told how to make those things. I also ordered one of the diamond dogs, Sam, to read the book as well. I chose him because he was one of the little diamond dogs that could read

A smile crept in my face as I heard the news

‘’Good. Tell Sam that he can start making weapon number 1 and armor set 1, thirty times. If he needs other dogs to help him, he can use some of the diamond dogs that helps repair the castle. Oh, and get Jan for me. Now go!’’ I watched him go until he was out of my sight.

I picked up the book and started reading again. After a few minutes, Jan walked in.

‘’You called for me, boss?’’ Jan asked me as he stood a few metres away from me, looking really uneasy.

‘’Yes, Jan. I heard that you have some knowledge about fighting. Is that true?’’

‘’Well, I-I’’

‘’Do you have any knowledge about fighting, yes or no?!’’

‘’I know some basic techniques.’’

‘’Good, that’s all I need’’ I thought

‘’Then you’ll do just fine. I’m going to show you all different fighting techniques and you are going to train the the other soldiers.’’

‘’How do you know a lot of fighting techniques?’’ Jan asked me

‘’From years of practise’’  I learned it from a book I read here. ‘’I’m going to show you the techniques now

Its now two days after I thought Jan how to fight. It were just basic moves and all that, so it didn’t take so long to learn him this. Jan was already busy teaching the other dogs to fight.

Sam also finished the armor and the weapons. He made armor out of leather the hunters gathered for us. Some parts of the armor had small iron nets on top of it, to make the armor stronger. The reason that I ordered to make the armor out of leather, is that the diamond dogs are faster with this then with iron armor (and I kinda used all the iron and steel for the swords)

But now that we have have the right equipment, its time to get enough furniture for the castle. I know that I had dogs robbing small farms, but we just didn’t get enough furniture. So I came up with the plan to go rob a furniture store in Ponyville. Tonight, I will go to Ponyville with a few of my men… or dogs, whatever

‘’Is everydog ready?’’ I stood on a platform outside my castle, speaking to my man one more time before we went to Ponyville. I decided to take 15 diamond dogs with me. I actually didn’t want to bring so many of my soldiers, for the fear of being detected, but if I took lesser men, then we wouldn’t be able to load all our cars full with furniture, and I REALLY didn’t want to go a second time.

‘’Lets take talk about the plan one more time. We go into Ponyville trough sideroads, and search for a furniture shop. We will break in through the back door, and try to steal everything without being seen. Okay?’’

‘’Okay,’’ the dogs said in union.

‘’Then lets go to Ponyville!’'
